As the guards brought in the girl, Jet's eyes watched her. The blue stood out on the silver carpet. However, it wasn't until she grew closer... was when his eyes suddenly became fixated on her. Light blue and silver wings flapped softly as he watched her stop... and curtsied.
Suddenly... he understood that look that Gin gave to Firi every time they bumped into each other.
But his father's voice took him out of the trace. "Good afternoon, my dear." He bowed his head slightly as his wings flapped. "I am happy that you've joined us today. For such a young child, you have joined us three worlds in peace. Adamo, the great land of the forest nymphs. Ilmatear, the vast world of winding winds and Moana, the trading world of the sea. You have been the first Shee to tie Norn to three worlds within such a short amount of time. I cannot imagine the words you speak... but I would love to hear it some time..."
He looked around the court and smiled, looking back at her. "Young Runa, despite your wing color you have done something grand and unexpected for Norn. What is your ultimate goal?"
Everyone in the court looked at her, even the prince once again.
"NICE ONE GIN! YOU'LL NEED TO TEACH ME THAT MOVE!" A Shee teases before she took a sip of her water. He was such a crazy thing...
A shadow cast over the silverwing, some red fabric blowing in the soft breeze. Bright green eyes looked down at the grey eyed man and a giggled could be heard. "How's the weather down there?" She giggled more as she looked down at him and held out her hand. When their hands met, she helped him up. Her wings flapped again as she now looked UP at him and smiled shyly.
"You know... I brought something for you."
She reached into her small pouch on the side of her hip and pulled out a container. She handed it to him and giggled. It was full of Fluffy Stuff. "Thought it could give you a boost." She winked. She knew the army was on strict diets... but she couldn't help herself. "I figured something sweet would remind you of me."
Sand and dust flew as Hatori jumped down. Ida looked away, shielding her eyes from the exposure and sighed. She looked down, seeing the blood run down her legs and frowned. Her mother said to stick as many rags in her underwear as possible... but that was too messy.. so she just decided to let it go, no matter how dangerous it was. She could deal with danger pretty well now.
She looked up at him, wrapping her arms around her to keep her books close to her now full chest. "Thanks for the report doctor obvious..." She growled as she slowly started to walk away, not in any general direction. "I'm not in the mood for your assholiness... so what is it already?

Runa blinked, smilingly faintly at the worlds that were named, knowing them well. She didn't know if it was THAT amazing - but from the way the king was putting it... it was like she had done something grand. She found it was really quite easy - honesty went a long way...
She tilted her head up at the next question before her eyes lowered to the floor, but this time she was deep in thought. Her ultimate goal?
"You're father was KILLED by a Renki - and you want to speak instead of taking revenge?" Her uncle Iro growled, his red-wings flapping in fury. "Wrath is frowned upon." She said. "And no. I do not need to. I'm going to do something better. I'm going to make it so nothing like what happened to me and my mom and alllll those other peiople never happens by one of their hands again." "By what? TALKING them to death?" "Something like that."
She looked up into the king's eyes, her face and voice honest. "I... would one day like to reach the heart of the Atterians."
The guard behind her could not help it. He turned his head and laughed behind his palm. She was JOKING right? The Renki were unreachable.
Gin rolled his eyes at the call. Man this was why the prince was his best friend. He looked up grinning as Firi stood over him. "A little damp." He teased right back before he reached up, taking her hand. He brushed himself off, his cheeks a little red with embaressment and his smile as shy as her.
He blinked however when she told him about the gift. "Really?" He blinked as the container was shoved in his hand and he turned it about, grinning. His favorite treat, cotton candy! He chuckled, shaking his head. "Trust me Firi, lots of stuff reminds me of you." He opened the container though, ripping out a piece and sticking it in his mouth, smiling as it dissolved into sugar.
"So, what do I owe the honor of your visit?" He teased.
Hatori scoffed at her attitude, before gripping her arm and pulling her back, shoving her against the wall. He smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know?" He tugged er books out of her hands throwing them onto the ground carelessly before he pressed his body flush against hers.
He raised an eyebrow at her, red eyes gleaming. He leant in, lips brushing against her ear. "Maybe I want you."

Everyone looked at the girl, wondering what she would say. Jet smiled softly, watching her as she thought. She was one of those Shee who went against their wing color. He found them fascinating... More female Shee went against their color than males... but it was still very rare. So far, he knew of Firi and now Runa.
He suddenly snapped out of it, hearing the girl's goal.
Everyone blinked for a moment before laughs filled the throne room, Sarias even chuckled but Jet... kept his eyes opened wide. Someone... wanted to make bonds with... the Atterians...? The 'Renki' as most if not all Shee called them.
He looked around though, seeing everyone in the court laugh as if she made the biggest joke of the year. He face started to get red, about to tell everyone to stop laughing at her. His mouth opened but he heard a sound of a sword being unsheathed next to him. Everyone suddenly stopped as the king pulled his sword out and looked down at Runa again.
"My dear... Atterians don't have hearts. You must not be fooled.... but if this is your ultimate goal, even as the king, I cannot even tell you to put your back to it. Shee must follow their dreams... but they must all do it wisely."
He rose his sword, the prince watching as Runa bowed again. the flat of the sword was place gently on one shoulder, then to the next. "I dub thee Lady Runa. May the road you walk on be open and clear." He pulled the sword away and slowly bowed, everyone else following... with some silent chuckles.
Everyone stood straight. "We thank you again." Sorias smiled, a soft chuckle in his voice. Jet frowned as he looked back at his father, and looked back at Runa... but she was already gone. Everyone started back into their normal routine but Jet scoffed, quickly rushing down the hallway.
He turned the corner, seeing the blonde leaving quickly. "Ut... Lady Runa! Lady Runa!" He called as he raced down the hall toward her.
"Trust me Firi, lots of stuff reminds me of you." Firi's cheeks reddened as she looked away shyly. She slowly looked up at him, seeing him pop some of the treat in and grew a big smile. Her green eyes widened as she got the question and shook her head. "Hehe... I don't need anything in return. Remember, 'One mustn't give with thinking of something in return.'" She giggled as she spoke one of the old lessons of the Shee.
"I just wanted to see you before...." She blinked as a red-wing walked towards them and frowned, crossing her arms. "Sir Volkan showed up." "Nice to see you too, Firi." The man walked up and frowned. He looked at Gin and frowned more. "What are you eating!? Think that's going to help your training any?"
Volkan was the temporary leader of the Balance Army. He had pale brown hair that almost looked grey and odd color eyes. He laid into Gin real hard... seeing that he wanted to be the leader himself... and didn't believe Firi was helping him focus all too much.
Ida frowned but suddenly her eyes widened as her arm was yanked. She was pushed up against the wall and her books were flown onto the sand, the windy desert breeze pushing the pages and getting sand all over them. She had kept them so nice...
Her blue eyes looked up at the red, her whole body pushed into the wall. She shifted violently the best she could but his hold was too strong. From the corner of her eye, she could see some boys looking around the corner. They must of smelt her blood too.
Her eyes widened as he came closer and her breath caught.

Runa looked around shocked as she was laughed at. Inside she felt her wings trying to unfurl as anger shot through her. Remembering her mother's words she looked down, gritting her teeth, feeling her cheeks burning with shame.
What was so funny? Even the king himself, laughing at one of his subjects how... how was this any way to rule if one could not listen to even the most trival or impossible-sounding of words?
She shut her eyes. Did he not want this unending war with the Atterians to end?
She looked up hearing the sword, her expression blank. Her face did not change as the words of the king fell upon her. She only did what she was emant to, getting on one knee, shivering a little at the cold blade that brushed bare shoulders. She stood once he was finished, her eyes darting about as people bowed to her, seeing them all with that same, mocking smile.
She ndoded stiffy to the thanks, giving a quick curtsy. "Good-bye." She turned and without another word she hurried from the throne room and down the hall. Don't cry, don't scream, don;t lose it, just wait, wait.
Even when she heard the callings from behind her she did not stop, in fact she sped up, - but her pursurer was restless. He follwoed her from the palace all the way down to the fountain - both of them running the whole way there. It was a long run in high heels.
She slowly came to a stop and spun around to face whoeever was coming. "What?!" She snapped, her voice breaking a little. What do you want fr- Prince Jet?" She looked taken aback as he came into the lights that reflected at the bottom of the fountain. she scowled before turning away, not wanting him to see her like this.
Gin, on the other hand, liked to bug Volkan as much as possible - because he knew the other was pushing him to his lmits all the time so he thought it was only fair. Balance and all right?
It wasn't that he didn't respect the older man and his teachings - but why did he always have to walk around like something was stuck up his butt?
"Yep!" He said like the little wise-ass his mother, Firi, Jet, Latium and even King Sorias were all familar with, as he tore out more of the cooton candy and ate it. "Mmmm, hyperactive goodness."
He saw the other's look. "Ah c'om cap' Volkan! Have a little fun for once in your life!"
Hatori grinned, staring into her eyes, before leaning forward even more, pressing his lips against hers and he shut his eyes. No more fooling around and playing at a distance. He wanted her and he was going to have her. NOW.

Jet blinked as she continued to run off. He knew she heard him. "Lady Runa! PLEASE!" But nothing stopped her. He frowned, knowing why she didn't stop. She was hurt and angry. But he was determined.
He rushed from the palace doors and down the stairs towards the fountain and came to a trot and slowly walk when she stopped. His blue eyes widened as she suddenly snapped. Her soft looking hair did it's best to see frustrated tears being held back... and he blinked again as she looked away.
He slowly walked to her and stopped, hearing the bubbling of the fountain next to them. He looked up, seeing the symbol and frowned before looking at her. "L-Lady Runa... I-I'm sorry about what happened. They had no right to laugh at you." He spoke softly as his blue wings lost their brightness. He swallowed and looked at her. "Especially after all you've done for Norn. I... really appreciated it... and I hope you continue. Norn will blossom because of people like you... and it's not right for people to laugh at that. Laughing is for jokes and silliness.... not for hopes.... or dreams."
He looked down and sighed. He remember when Latium first taught him about the Atterians. Learned about their way of life. At first, the young prince didn't believe there could possibly be such a beast out there... but he remembered that day when the news came back that a single Atterian had killed eleven Shee.... he couldn't deny the book's information.
He had never heard anyone want to make peace with them... They were the only sworn enemies of the Shee. Sure they had enemies before... but peace was brought between them. Peace never came between Atteris and Norn.
However... Jet's life was based on the Balance... and you can't have balance without peace. "I... want to reach their hearts too..." He nearly whispered as he suddenly bowed slightly. "Please accept my apology..."
Firi blinked at Gin's comment and giggled. He was always like that... even with the prince. She loved Gin's playfulness.... but of course she would. She was a yellow-wing.
Volken frowned and grunted, suddenly snatching the jar away from the man. "I'll have 'a little fun for once' when we show those Atterians not to kill eleven of our men, Gin." Fifi's wings lowered as her eyes grew sad. She looked at Gin and smiled softly before giving a weak wave. "I'll see you later Gin... good luck with your training today."
She turned to Volken and curtsied. "Sir Volken." She bowed her head before turning and walking up the stairs back to the palace.
Ida's body pushed into the wall more until it couldn't go anywhere. Her eyes widened more as she felt his lips on hers. She froze for a moment... but slowly her eyes lidded as she pressed her lips back. Her hands shook slightly as she pushed them between them and wrapped her fingers on his shoulders.
The boys growled and sneered as they watched the two kissing. They looked at each other, smirks over their faces. One of them picked up and rock as was about to chuck it when the lead boy grabbed his wrist. "Hey, what are you doing you fucking idiot?" He whispered. "That's a Tellus boy. You fucking stupid enough to attack him when he's with his mate?" "But..." "Shut up... let's get out of here." The boys growled but followed the other as they left silently.

Runa stood there, her back to the man, quiet as a lamb as the other spoke. She shut her eyes bowing her head as two tears traveled down her cheeks.
"Laughing is for jokes and silliness.... not for hopes.... or dreams."
She took a deep breath, the words utterly heartwarming. She slowly turned around, tilting her head seeing him bow. She sighed smiling a bit, "Do not take this the wrong way Prince Jet,... but you are going to be a greater king then even your father. Please never stop listening to your heart."
She smiled. "And thank you... for your kind words. You make me feel like less of a fool." She reached up, rubbing away the tears carefully in hopes to not smear the make-up.
Gin frowned at the words, his eyes becoming melancoly at the reminder. He sihed as Firi took her leave, waving to her desolutely. "Bye..."
He turned back to his leader before reaching up, easily sntaching the jar back and frowning a little. "It's a gift and I'm not letting you take it, sorry Cap."
Hatori smirked against her lips, seeing the boys taking there leave. Yeah they better think twice before fucking with him. He shut his eyes, his fingers unabashedly running down her sides, fingers curling under her shirt to feel the smooth skin underneath. He licked his tongue across his lips before poking it into her mouth, tongue running against hers.

The prince blinked when he heard her words. Better... than my father...? He frowned but it slowly turned into a smile. Every prince or princess wanted to be a good king or queen one day... and even surpass their parents. His father was indeed a good king. Norn stayed in enlightenment in his reign so far... and Jet wished to continue that.
However... he wanted more than that. He wanted to bring... well... a golden age. Where... Balance could shine brighter. Every day he made it his goal to help someone. he was able to do so everyday. Even small things. He wanted to grow up... helping everyone.
He slowly looked up at her, seeing her wipe her face. He smiled softly and shook his head. "You shouldn't feel like a fool at all Lady Runa. Big thinkers like you have always helped the kingdom... and someone who helps the kingdom... is never a fool." He would of continued if he wasn't blushing so badly... but he had said what was most important.
Lady Runa... was the Shee he helped today... He swallowed, feeling his palms become sweaty. "I... I would like to discuss about your ideas in the future.... if that's alright with you..."
Firi sighed as she leaned up against the door. Why was Volken so mean... he always brought back the worse of memories... She slowly walked down the hallways and into the large library. All the copies of every book was in this library... and ancient ones that hardly were touched because they were so old.
She looked around and heard a book close, slowly turning a shelf to see a yellow wing busy at work. She smiled and walked over, her eyes brightening again. "So Papa... what are you teaching prince Jet today?"
Volken blinked as the jar was snatched and shrugged. "Of course... but you eat this on your own time." He turned and suddenly clapped his hands. "ALRIGHT! BREAK IS OVER! LINE UP!"
Ida's eyebrows frowned as she felt the chapped fingers run under her shirt. They were rough against her skin that was as soft as a baby's bottom. She froze again as she felt the tongue at her lips but slowly parted them, allowing Hatori access. Slowly her hands moved up and her arms wrapped around his neck. Long nails ran through the black hair as her body started to relax.
Slowly she got into the rhythm and tilted her head, pulling Hatori closer.
Large paws padded on the floor of a sandy house. Yellow eyes looked around, seeing someone in the shadows. "Nice try mom..." he grinned as he easily sidestepped her and disappeared in the shadows. Blood was dripping from his mouth, some skin still left in his teeth. He licked his lips and snout as he walked to the kitchen.
The moment he passed the frame of the doorway, bare feet padded on the floor. Newer scares could be seen on his rough skin as he turned on the faucet to get muddy water. He cupped some in his hand, pulling it up to his face and drinking the taste of iron away.

She... was a big thinker huh? No one had ever told her that before...
Runa chuckled, seeing how flustered he was becoming, and she had a feeling it wasn't because it was a little warm outside.
Her wings trilled at the offer and she smiled, happy to see he was itnerested and not disgusted by her plans. He was the first she told that did not instantly give her a negative look. "Of course, I'd love too..." She glanced around. "How about... you meet me tommorrow in front of the flower market? Say... noon?"
Latium glanced up when he heard his daughter's voice and he smiled. "Ah nothing too much." He set away his book, snatching up another one. "A little astronomy and magicology and divintion. I have to quicker in my lessons lately, since Prince Jet is having to attend so many meetings."
It was true though. Yesterday they had had only 30 minutes for their study. While he approved of the idea of learning by experience, not everything can come from it - there were still books to learn from. One can never stop learning...
Gin smiled as he was allowed to keep his jar and placed it by his water bottle so he wouldn't lose it, before joining the lines obediantly. Another day, another bout of training.
Hatori could have cheered as he felt her responding. Of course he was a little preoccupied so he settled for some silent cheers in his head. He increased the passion off the kiss, one of his hands trailing across the otheroft stomach, a finger teasingly rolling around the naval while his other hand slipped back, running up her spine.
Rhea scoffed as she was seen just as she shot her hand out claws and all, but she smirked proudly. That was her boy. She smelt blood on him - strong and powerful. She stepped into the kitchen, leaning against the frame, seeing the scars all over him. "So, who was it today?"

The boy blinked, a open smile running on his face but more blush ran over his cheeks. "YEA!.....I.... I mean sure." He pulled his cloak closer as he coughed from embarrassment. Why was he acting like this? He smiled though and nodded. "The flower market it is." He bowed again before turning. "See you then Lady Runa!" He called as he rushed back up the palace stairs.
He closed the large doors and leaned on them. He smiled softly, his heart pumping in his chest. He quickly pushed off and ran down a hallway, stopping at another set of doors and opened them. He walked out, looking out on the training field.
Firi giggled and tilted her head. "Oh papa... you're stressing yourself out too much." She pouted as she walked behind her father and started to massage his shoulders. "How about you take the day off? You and I can go have dinner somewhere nice... Oh! And sit on the practice tree and watch the light bugs!" She giggled more and leaned in on him.
Sure, she was nineteen... but she was still full of youth... like most of the yellow wings.
The dark brunette moaned softly as the kiss grew more intense. Her nails dug into his hair, feeling the sand and dust it was hiding. She slowly pulled away, panting as she looked down to see his hands teasing her navel. She slowly looked up to look into the red eyes again. A soft moan escaped her lips and pressed onto the other's as her spine was felt.
Leaning in, she pressed her lips on his once more. Of all the times of the year... why was this happening when she was bleeding?
The muddy water was lathered around his neck and face and then roughly dried off. Yellow eyes looked back, his pointed ears perking as he grinned. "Dumitru's gang. Heh." He leaned back and licked his lips. "I never imaged Dumitru to be so tasty... seeing he has the word 'dum' in his name."

Runa giggled as he rushed off, but a grin grew on her face and she turned her cheeks aflame as she ran all the way home. She had to contain her wings once again - but ths time from happiness.
She had heard from other red-wings that keeping their wings within was the hardest for them because theyw ere so centered around passion - whch included the passion of emotions.
She hadn;t noticed it until today.
"So how did it go?" Her mother asked the minute she wlaked in. "Oh it was wonderful mother!" But she did not elaborate.
Latium laughed suddenly tilting his head. "Do my ears deceieve me? Is my veru own daughter trying to make me play hooky?" He glanced back at her, seeing her looks. "Welll... why not?" He grinned. Even he could use a break - now it was Jet's turn to know how it felt to be run off on!
Hatori merely smirked at the noise she made, shutting his eyes and leant in close to further explore her mouth. His fingers splayed across her back while his other hand inched it;s way up her body to her breasts.
Rhea only smirked proudly and nodded. She turned around. "When Kalahari comes back you should ask him to drop you off on another world. These worms are becoming too simple for you."
Kalahari was her mate, and therefore both Xigbar and Hatori's father. He was the one to kill the eleven Shee back on the nymph world, he was the one to surpass his own father in strength and fame. And he was going to make sure his kids did the same.

Firi giggled as she looked down at her father. They quickly got up and left the palace before they were seen. Firi had a hard time sneaking out from her constant giggle. This was fun!
Jet... really didn't care about Latium missing. Of course his professor left a note. So... he spent the rest of his day with Gin... and told him about what happened. Of course... Gin laughed about the Atterian thing... but he would have to get use to that. It seemed only he and Runa didn't laugh about total peace... That was ok though... they could laugh all they wanted.
Legs shook slightly as blood continued to run down them. The kiss continued and the pants between them grew heavier... especially when his finger reached the bottom of one of her breasts. Her hands clenched onto the black hair as she let him explore.
Her homework wasn't going to get done for the first time since she attended school... but that wasn't important. This was one of the most important things for a female Atterian. To become ones mate. Especially to the strongest name in Atteris. The second most important was to bare strong, healthy and smart offspring.
Yellow eyes widened as he looked back at his mother. A smirk appeared, the advice sounding pretty good. He was all for it when he suddenly frowned and glanced out the dirty window. He... would love to go with his kid brother... but it seemed that he was going down a different road to success....
Sandals pattered on bricks. A green cloak swaying back and forth. Brown, flared hair bounced as the young man walked. Everyone had gotten use to his appearance already... and some were shocked to see that his friend wasn't with him today. Kids waved from the crowd as adults waved from the booths. The boy smiled happily as he waved back to them, wishing for them to have a good morning or afternoon.
He turned and smiled, walking pass some houses until he got to a larger opening. A large post rose above the entrance and he smiled. The sign read:
Flower Market He looked up at the sky, seeing where the sun was. It was about that time.
He slowly walked to a wagon full of flowers that could be seen from the entrance and leaned back on it. Would... she show?
A girl giggled as she laid on the meadow floor. She had a hand behind her head as her other pointed to things. "Hehe, that looks like a Phoenix star!" She pointed a cloud up and smiled, her yellow wings spread out.
Last night had been fun. Her and her father had eaten out at a nice place that had the best fish. After that, they flew up into the practice tree and Latium told Firi stories about when he first met her mother, Amity. It had been awhile since they last saw her... but she always sent messages to let them both know she was doing fine... and that her masterpiece was going well. She would also send small gifts from the worlds. One for each of them.
Latium brought them up... because he saw the connection between his daughter and Gin slowly building.
The girl looked over, seeing the boy next to her, watching the cloud as well. It was Maddox. The day out of the where everyone was off from their work. That meant Gin was free of scheduled training. This was also the first day... they really spent together without Jet.
Brown, crusted, dried liquid was spilled all over bricks. The sand outside whipped around, creating a whole bunch of noise. The late morning sun gave no rest to let anything grow. Blue eyes slowly fluttered open. The room seemed to spin and haze and the eyes were closed again. A soft groan filled the abandoned house as a pale hand reached out, gripping the end of a brick and slowly shifted her body over.
Fresh blood continue to fall as she pressed her pale face onto the bricks, trying to find something cool. She was dehydrated... and lost a lot of blood. The room continued to spin as she looked around. She didn't know where she was... or what had happened.
A sudden pain ran over her as she tried to move again and looked down at her pale, exposed body. Her own body seemed to spin and looked disoriented.... but she could see it clearly. Some flesh from her hip was gone. She had been marked.
She would no longer be harassed at schoo---- School. She had already missed so much. The first time she skipped a day... well... she wouldn't have to worry about school so much anymore... She still had lots of work to do.
She looked around slightly, the sounds of the sand and wind and the room spinning made her feel sick but she slowly lifted herself up. "H...Hatori..?"
Yellow eyes narrowed as he put the last of his things that he needed in a bag and threw it on his bed. He looked back at his brother's bed and frowned. Empty. He had not come home that night. Ironically enough... their father had returned the night before... and Xigbar had inquired about being sent off to another world.
His father agreed.
Now he would be leaving in a few minutes... and didn't have the chance to see off his brother. Their connection had grown weak... and all because of that outcast.
before he turned away, he caught something on the corner of his eye. Something under his brother's pillow. He walked over and lifted it up, seeing the music maker. A grin ran over his features as he gripped it and chucked it into his bag. He placed the pillow back exactly how it was before tying his rope tight to close the bag and flung it over his shoulder.
To gain is to lose.
He walked down the stairs, dodging his mother again before walking out the back from the house. "I wonder what Dragoon has in store for me..."

Latium was out having fun with his daughter. She cheered him him often and despite having not seen his wife for quite a long, time - he missed her dearly - he was at least not too lonely.
Gin rested as he listened about the strange women that had been honored and yes he laughed - unable to believe any Shee could hold such an idea in their heads. that... was a thought for a black-wing. He however just had to tease about the light blushes that kept dusting his friends face. Sooomeone had a crush!
Runa meanwhile spent her night hugging her pillow and grinning at the stars, naming the plants they were easily. she spared a glance for the moon as well - big and beautiful. The sky was in perfect balanced, especally at night. Wide and black with dots of white and a round white moon to center it. The shining whiteness made sure the blackness did not overtake the sky, the blackness was their to make sure the whiteness did not blind it;s vewers.
Perfect and beautiful in every way.
Her mind drifted often though, to something else that was beautiful and perfect in every way. A man with stunning blue wings and a handsome face and sparkling blue eyes.
"You're mine," He whispered across his soon-to-be-mate's lips as he 'explored' her fingers running across her body. A fire burned in his gut, urging him to hurry up and he listened. During the night he tugged off her clothes, licked away the blood caused from her menstrution, and then he claimed her as his. His... this rare and beautiful creature was his and now... always would be.
Rhea just shook her head as her first-born took leave, swiping at him again - but as always he ducked. She waited up for her second-born to come home - but was not too suspicious when he did not. He was either dead, dying or mating. When Kalahari came home, they said little before Xigbar and he spoke - speaking of his trip. With that decided the two older Tellus' went to bed. The last of the family never returned home.
Runa sighed, hoping this wasn't all some cruel joke. No! She shook her head. She couldn't think like that! Besides... she could see it in his eyes, how sincere he had been - just a tad confused too. He probably never heard of an idea like ehrs. As the prince he had to look out for the ebst interests of his peoples - and no doubt he was being taught what every other Shee was. That the Atterians - or Renki, what a HORRIBLE sterotype - were evil and were never going to be anything other than that.
She sighed as she walked down her porch steps - sending a goodbye over her shoulder to her mother. Her mom needed some rest. She worked herself to much - and now that she was working they could start sharing the profits again. It'd be okay and she wouldn't let her mom deter her from that idea. 'Parents are the ones who need to take care of the children, not the other way around' But... families should do the same too.
She shook her head smiling. Her forest green skirt flowed around her, hiding the white sandals that had straps circling around her feet and twice around her ankles. She wore a red blouse with white, green and black flowers dotting the edges.
She looked down, smiling to some of the people she passed, recognizing some friends from school - enjoying their say off. Lazy days were good ones but rare.
She walked the familar path to the flower shop - familar because of weddings, funerals, mothers day, birthdays, visits to the gravesights...
She looked up hesitantingly, before smiling faintly, seeing the blue wings that just stood out to her - of course he was a prince he was automatically allowed to keep his wings out. She walked up to the form leaning against the wagon. "Hello Jet." she did not curtsy, nor did she use proper title. She didn't forget to - but if he was going to learn from her she wanted to be equal to him.
Gin tilted his head, studying the cloud. "I dunno..." He said thinking. "... I'll agree because I honestly can't not think of any other flower names." He grinned sheepishly before looking across the sky. "But THAT looks like a butterfly." He pointed.
He looked at her, his fond smile only growing more. He didn't get many times like with this -alone at all really. His schedule was so busy. Who knew training was so... well busy?
And almost anytime he was with her - unless she went to meet him out on the field during his breaks, Jet was around. Now don't get him wrong. He loved his ebst friend like a brother but really, a little privacy never hurt. Luckily today HE was off seeing his crush - and that boded well for him cause that gave him more time with Firi...
And the best news. So far he hadn't acted like a fool once.
"So..." He murmured softly. "How has your singing been?"
The door at the other end of the room creaked on his hinges, heavy from being made of granite. a form, not human walked into the room. Claws clicked on the ground, the backs of his paws having a backed finger like a bird - good for perching on the edges of things. He was slim like a leopord, black with brown splotches in his fur for the spots. His tail was slinky like a lion's.
He was walking deliberately slow - but not like an animal after it's prey. In his mouth - where two long and sharp saber teeth jutted from and rows of littler teeth inside - was a bucket. Muddy water sloshed inside but he was being careful no to spill. Across his back was something white - a piece of clothes. And his tail, curled around like a possum sleeping in a tree, was a glass filled with water as well.
He stopped at the bedside, setting down the glass and bucket before suddenly his form twisting, only twitching slightly at the pain of the bones rearranging and changing to fit his human form. hatori stood in front of her - no shame in his eyes as he stood in full naked glory. He didn't HAVE to change to get all this stuff but his dad said it was good to do so every day so his body could get to the point where the change was as natural as taking a breath. Besides, he had to steal it all from next door. after their bout of wild sex he had to drag her into this home - it belonged to the Neros (now all dead) - to let her rest.
However, all the blood she was losing concerned him some. He knew women did so, one a moon cycle, but it did not make him feel any better. It wasn't supposed to be so much, was it? He sat down on the bed, picking up the glass. He handed it to her. "Drink." He said, then helped her with it when he saw her hands shaking too much.
Once he was certain that she would be able t handle it, he picked up the cloth that had fallen during his change, dipped it into the water of the bucket, rung it out, and then slowly started to clean off the grit, dust, dirt, grime, blood and semen covered her - legs especally. In a few dips the water was already more disgusting then usual.
It wasn't customary for an Atterian to care QUITE as much as he did for Ida, or even take such lengths to care for her - but he figured it was his mark, his business how he treated her.

Blue eyes looked around, watching people pick up flowers that had been imported from other worlds. He recognized a lot of flowers... since the palace was heavily decorated with them. Some even grew in the garden. the flower market was always busy. People were getting ready for weddings in the woods... or visiting their past loved ones on the mountain side.
Boys and men alike were getting some for their others as well as girls and women. Elders showed their young family the different kinds of flowers, making their eyes widen with the knowledge.
A small smile ran over Jet's face as he watched. Everything was so peaceful... He didn't know was his father worried so much when he ventured out into the markets.
He blinked though when he heard a familiar voice and looked back, quickly getting off the wagon and bowing his head lightly. "Hello Lady Runa." As a prince, he was taught that he needed to show manners to anyone... and what manners he was taught was to bow your head at anyone... and call them by their given name. He noted that she had not done the same... but everyone was different. He liked the idea of individualism.
He looked down, his blush already coming to his face. "Uh.... you.... you look nice today. I-I'm still sorry about yesterday..."
Firi giggled as she nodded, looking over at the other cloud that Gin had pointed out. "Oh wow! It really does!" She laughed and smiled. The soft breeze ruffled her short golden hair as she sighed happily. Today had been so nice... and it was just starting.
This was the first day her and Gin were able to spend some time alone. They called themselves friends... but both of them knew it was the signs of puppy love.
She blinked as she looked at him and sat up. She giggled before brushing some grass off her shoulders and looked down at him. "It's been great! I even got an auition to sing at the Zyanya Festival!" The Zyanya Festival was their New Years. It was the brightest day of the year and considerations could be seen in the dark of night. The ancients had thought that day was the most beautiful day of the year... so they claimed to to be their first day of the year and based their calendar on it.
Maybe people put a lot into making Zyanya better than the Zyanya the year before.
She looked around and blushed. "I'll give you a sample..." She cleared her throat and sat up straight. "Loveeeeeers, keep on the road you're on~~~ Runneeeeeers, until the race is run~~~~~ Soldieeeeers, you've got to soldier on~~~~ Sometiiiiiiiiiiiiimes even right is wrong.
They are turniiiiing my heeeeead out To see what I'm all about, Keeping my heeeeeeead down To see what it feels like noooow But I haaaaaave nooo doubt One daaaaay, the suuuuun will come out~~~"
She smiled as she finished, blinking as she looked at Gin. She quickly looked away, giggling as a brush shown bright on her cheeks.
Blue eyes looked to the door, the room still spinning as she saw a beast walk in. Her panting grew faint as he walked closer and suddenly turned into the man she was familiar with. She looked up at him, then at the cup. shaky hands reached out, trying to grasp the cup but thinking it was in another place before she finally got her hands on it.
She brought the cup to her lips but it was too shaky to get it into her mouth. Her eyes widened though as she felt hands around hers and stopped the shaking. Luke warm water went down her throat as she gulped it down, her hands stopping.
As she continued drinking, she could feel water being run over her and looked over, seeing Hatori cleaning her body. Slowly the cup was put down as it rang from being empty. The room had stopped spinning, but she was still thirsty. She sat up more, watching him clean away until it was all gone.
Slowly she leaned down, nuzzling the side of his face. Her scalp started to hurt, pains from the night before she guessed. She pulled away, looking around the room. "We should make this our home..."
Large paws padded onto wet soil. The smell of the air was so different here... so moist and... cold. Not dry and hot that he was so use to. A tongue licked a black nose as the large, black animal crept through the woods. Yellow eyes moved back and forth, taking in everything that was around.'
His ears perked as he stopped, hearing something loud in the distance over the sound of.... water? There was so much water here... and... he wondered if it was clean and clear... That sound... must of been a dragon.
Slowly he walked to a clearing, staying low to the ground as his paws hit a cold rock that looked out over the valley. His yellow eyes peered over the edge, seeing the shores of the ocean and some people gathering down there.

Runa shook he rhead, smiling at him. "Just Runa please." she told him, then she tilted her head. "And stop being sorry. What use is forgiveness if the one who feels bad can not accept the understanding?"
She smirked teasingly, before walking past him. "Come on let's take a walk. I'll tell you anything you want to know, just name it." Her skirt was sashying around her hips, whispering with the breeze. it was a great one for dancing - one of those types that swirling upwards in a big circle if you spun.
Though she was just as nervous as he, she didn;t show it as much. she just had to keep reminding herself this was nothing but bussiness - showing Jet why she thought the Atterians were worth her time...
that was all. nothing more.
It could NEVER be anything more.
Blue wings and red wings were never meant to mix. Red wings were too high-strung and bold, blue wings to modest and shy. One bent on peace - the other on war. It was like mixing an Atterian and a Shee...
Gin grinned up at her encouragingly when she offered to share with him. He gave her his full attention, listening to the song wth rapture. Her voice always blew him away. Purple wings had magic to their music, Red-wings passion, but yellow-wings however had a spark unlike both of them combined - an inner energy thsat neither could muster or match and the happiness to love what they were doing.
He loved the sparkle that came in her eyes, the smile that spread her lips, the shine that came to her cheeks... everything about her was most beautiful when she was happy like this.
He sat up when she finished and he grinned. "That was... wonderful!" He grinned teasingly, before shielding his eyes. "Ah who is that star I see? Her greatness blinds me!"
A deep rumble vibrated in the back of his throat at the nuzzle - close enough to sound like a purr. He tilted his head at her suggestion, before glancing around. "Our home..." He repeated softly, before a smirk grew over his face. "Yeah... that sounds good." It wasn't a big place - it was smaller then his own home, but he had a feeling a big family was not what he would be raising - or even want to raise. One strong child was better then ten weak ones.

Jet blinked when she started. He blushed more and shook her head. "I'm sorry... but you've been dubbed by my father. I was taught that I must honor this so you see... so... please allow me to continue so." He was quieted quick when she slowly started to walk away. he quickly caught up to her and smiled shakily. "Oh...um.... well.... where did you get your idea from?" He asked as they walked around the wagons and booths.
As she started to explain, he stopped suddenly and looked at a wagon full of red flowers that he had never seen before. "I'm sorry to cut you off Lady Runa... but I've never see anything quite like this." The man at the booth looked down, seeing the two looking at his flowers. "Ah, good morning, your majesty. May I interest you in some roses?"
Jet tilted his head, reaching down and minding the thorns before picking it up. "They come from a world called Wonderland" "Wonderland..." He repeated before closing his eyes and took in a deep smell.
His eyes suddenly shot open and looked weird. "uu.....auuu.....ACHOO!!" He sneezed, and all the pedals blew off. The prince blinked as he stared at the bare stem in his hands and blushed heavily.
Firi's eyes widened as Gin started to tease her. "OH GIN! STOP IT!" She cried as she giggled, her face covering her face as her yellow wings wrapped around her to hide her embarrassment and blush.
Ida smiled softly as she continued to look around. She didn't know how this place looked as a whole... but it was deserted... and that's all they needed. It was probably already furnished and all ready for life to come back. Ones who were stronger than the first.
However, she knew she would be busy making this place up to their standards... and that when she was done with her cycle, they would mate again...and again until she would become pregnant.
