OOC: FINALLY PAGE 3!
Roxas' brows furrowed, his eyes disapporving and disvelieveng but he let it alone. Sometimes even couples had to have their secrets. Or maybe he really was mad about last night and just wasn't saying anything?
Coffee... shit he forgot to make some. "Sure!" He called down, before turning away and going to the coffee maker. It was odd having Axel up so early... the only times the red-head had ever been dragged out this early was once for his birthday two years ago... and that one time the river in the Nexus guarden flooded and everyone was at their door, unsure of what to do.
Turns out it had backed up because the river downstream had been backed up by some wood that had been carried down the river and blocked one of the tunnels - no big deal.
Roxas searched the cupboard and grabbed down two cups, one that was black with orange flames painted on it - and another that was white with a red cat painted on it that said 'Someone like you only comes around once in 9 lifes'. It was a joke gift from Axel himself. Sometimes you just have to laugh in the face of death.
Axel was just coming up the stairs again once the coffee was reaqdy and Roxas poured two cups, getting Axel's ready the way he liked it before handing it to him with a soft smile and a kiss to the cheek. "Here. Morning." He turned away, adding sugar and creamer to his own.
Aqua sat in the seperated room - after all the bride could not see the bride - it was bad luck. And she knew Olette and Aerith were working on Fuu's dress among other things today.
Getting ready for... one week from now. The wedding itself.
She took a deep breath, staring at the dress hanging from the top of the closet door. She, unlike Fuu, knew how to sew clothes completely. Comes wth living a peasant life in which even clothes were too expensive - she had learned all the way back when she was 8. It was one of the few useful things her mom taught her besides cooking.
"Holy fuck what ARE you doing?" Ven asked, his eyebrows rising as he stepped into Aqua's room of their old base, seeing the woman sitting on the bed, a needle in hand.
"Sewing." She said simply, as she drew the needle though hole in her shirt - heartless really did cause problems sometimes.
".......... TERRA!" Ven cried suddenly.
"Damn it WHAT!?" Came the harsh voice of their leader as he walked next to the blonde, his frame cutting out the rest of the threshold.
"Look." Ven said pointed at Aqua.
"Just ignore them." She muttered under her breath as she continued her task, drawing the needle again and again.
"The fuck is she doing...?"
"Sewing."
"Sew....ing?"
"................. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA." Both boys suddenly erupted, tears coming to their eyes as they laughed.
"THATS IT FUCKERS!" Aqua screeched through her shirt aside and sntaching up her spear.
"hahaha-oh shit!" They yelped turning and running off as they got chased by their psychotic friend.
The funny thing was... that jackass Terra knew how to sew too. He just made sure no one ever knew it - until of course he started having to take care of the wounds he inflicted on Ven.
As far as making the dresses went.. well Aqua wanted them to match in some way - but she wasn;t allowed to know what it looked like. That made desgning hers... tough. So, for some guidance she asked what colors Fuujin;s dress had.
White, mostly white, with some blue at the top and very little red. She had no idea what a 'little' red meant or where it was or anything - and some blue at the top meant what exactly?
It wasn't much to go on - so she made Seifer the resident image consultant. His job was - in as little detail as possible - to go and check out one dress compared to the other and make little suggestions on how it could be better in such and such way and what needed to be more and what needed to be less.
It was actually more frustrating then she thought it would be especially when she had to sit through Seifer's little unhelped comments. Like: "No no, you don't want the frills trust me cause uh... just trust me!" or "No no thats all wrong you need to make it bigger." "How?" "Well..... uh.... I don't know."
He was fired in like a week. She didn't dare appoint either Ven or Terra - they were already snickering over her sewing her own wedding dress. Besides with Terra's sense of fashion... she was scared what he would come up with. And Ven... sucked with colors.
So she just started to make guesses - dragging Olette or Aerith aside every once and awhile and asking their opinion.
She still wasn't sure if she liked it or not - it was at these times that she wished she was a boy. Men had such simple clothing. Then again they loved to complicate them with a whole bunch of belts, chains, zippers and pockets that served absolutely no purpose.
Olette and Aerith however reassured her that it looked perfect. Aqua wasn;t just worried about how it would look next to Fuujin... but if it would look good on her period. Her wedding was the one day she was supposed to go all out and she wasn;t exactly girly enough to 'go' all out with. If it wasn;t for Fuujin she never would have even considered going back to cute dresses and pretty skirts again.
But now, on a day only 168 hours from now, she'd have to be the most dressed up ever in her life - and she had to admit she was feeling a little self-concious. She already knew from the colors that Fuujin would look stunning. the white would bring out her skin, and the blue her silvery hair and the red would accent her eyes. She didn;t know what the dress looked like persay but she knew it was perfect... she however was not so certain.
Her wedding dress itself was... well to her rather revealing. Since
Fuujin had gone with white, she went with black. It was low cut exposing her a good portion of her back, and her collarbone, shoulders and arms comletely - the dress only held up by thin straps that curled around her neck and tied into a bow. the stings of the bow however were longer then need be, trailing down her back and at the ends of each was a small metal charm. One a silvery dragon and the other a chakram.
She had created a floral design of white flowers and cerulean blue swirls (imitating wind) across the chest - and also mimiced it at the bottom where the dress flared out more, where strips in the material revealed a white slip underneath. Her shoes of course had to be bought. High heels, black with straps that curled and locked around the ankles.
She and Fuujin both disagreed about wearing veils - it'd be kinda silly to have to lift up one and then the other and it didn;t seem fair if only one of them wore one they wanted to be sequal... so it was skipped.
Rather then wearing a train Aqua had found a tiara that she would place in her hair. It was made of thin silvery-white metal that stood out in her hair - and it was a simple design of a water serpant with red gems for eyes. She had to thank Sora for inspiring that little piece. His story definitely did wonders for symbolism.
Aqua bit her lip, worrying it. Other then that, the only red she'd be wearing would be on her lips... and she had chosen a very light color eye shadow as well as some blush, eyes liner and mascara. She knew she was ready but-
"Are you SURE its okay?" she asked again.
"Jeez Aqua, if you want to try modifying it in the next seven fucking days be my guest." The exasperated brunette said, shaking his head. Women! "It looks FINE!"
"That means its horrible."
"Huh?!"
"Terra you wear pant-skirts for fucks sake! You know NOTHING if fashion!"
"S-SHUT UP!" The brunette blushed darkly as he scowled. He and Ven himself had more important things to worry about anyways. THERE ceremony would take place not long after Fuu and Aqua's wedding. Considering they proposed at the same time, they might as well get hitched around the same time.
"Well, we could try reverse psychology." A gruff blonde spoke up, smirking. "Aqua you're a fucking cow in that dress you should burn it."
"... Seifer shut up." The woman grumbled, crossing her arms. "Reverse psychology only works when you don't announce it as reverse psychology.... idiot."
Terra rolled his eyes, but then suddenly he felt his heart - strengthen? His eyebrows furrowed, thinking of Ven. What in the world was he doing?
Lucina licked her lips as she typed rapidly, trying to out-key her brother. He usually won everything of coruse but there was no harm in trying to beat him at a friendly competition.
The wedding was really soon though - she hoped all the invitations would find everyone well! She knew the only way the design finally got chosen though was cause aunt fuu complained that if they didnlt send them out soon everyone was gonna miss their wedding - even themseleves.
"Well at least I'M not the one with low-self esteem!"
"Low self-esteem?! Come here and say that again chickenshit!"
"Oh so now you have to steal my INSULTS too?! Is it too much for you to admit you might actually look NICE in woman's clothing you fucking dyke!"
Seifer had gotten incredibly good at speaking Chaser-nese.
"Well Sei, if YOU like it so much come here and let me cut your fucking balls off so YOU can wear the goddamned dress, pussy willow!"
Unfortunetly he was no match for Aqua.
Terra shook his head about to continue, or possibly halt, the small argument when... when something seemed to pass through him. His head turned sharply to look towards the door, his eyes darkening.
Delicious.
Blue irises went wide and his fingers curled into the bedsheets.
No... No not now. Please god no.
"Terra?" He heard Aqua call, sounding concerned. He had to get out of here.
The brunette glanced at her and chuckled. "Sorry I'm just... gonna go see what's taking Ven." He jumped up, trying to act natural as he left and not as if he wanted to go run and hide under the blankets or something. The door shut behind him.
Fuck, I thought you were gone.
I'm part of you Terra. I will never be gone.
FUCK JUST GO AWAY!
I will never go away.
Terra was incredibly happy that the hall was empty. The brunette groaned softly as he leaned against the wall, a hand working its way into his hair as he tried to regulate his breathing and slow down his heart.
Didn't you taste it? It was sweet... if only you had reached out and grabbed it.
What... what made the wolf rise again? Could it be... that because the blood bonding ceremony was so close the Atterian side of him had grown expectant? That had to be it...
Terra...
Nerves for the date that was drawing nearer and nearer must of weakened his resolve against the wolf somehow... "Fuck..." He whispered, wishing he could scream. The fight had begun again.
Roxas' brows furrowed, his eyes disapporving and disvelieveng but he let it alone. Sometimes even couples had to have their secrets. Or maybe he really was mad about last night and just wasn't saying anything?
