The Chasers: Darkness' Fold

Xio's tail wagged as he saw that everything was ok. That had really scared him! He slowly walked over and nuzzled Vi before walking over to his master.

Axel sighed in relief and looked down, rubbing Xio's ear as he came over. Well, it seemed that everything had turned out alright... and everyone was happy.
That was what Christmas was all about right?

He slowly got up and walked over to Roxas and Roxel, Xio following along as well. He wrapped his arms around his husband and Roxel wrapped his arms around Xio.


Riku smiled happily as he watched everyone calm. He didn't think they could do it... but each Christmas got better... and bigger. He wondered what next Christmas would be like. He looked over, taking off his red nose and placing it on Tensai's. He kissed the boy's head and leaned into his husband.
"Guess we'll have more weddings to go to." He said happily.


Olette clapped and smiled at her two kids. "Guess we have a lot of work ahead of us!" He ruffled everyone's hair and grinned. "Maybe we should celebrate!"
She heard an echo of "NO" from the three and giggled. She slowly looked over to see Aerith laughing softly as she help Fuu up.

A soft sigh admitted as she tilted her head. Poor Aerith... it seemed like she was the only one who didn't have someone. She also knew that Aerith would never be interested in anyone... she was cheated out of her love.
She still seemed to be in good spirits though. Maybe it was the flowers...


Carina didn't know Aqua or Fujin very well... but she loved weddings. The thought of another set of lovers coming together made her happy. She never thought she'd see so many good things in her life. She wondered if she would be invited.

She glanced over at the other Holani boy and then at the bowl he was holding still. She wondered what a Blood Bonding was. She never heard of anything like it before.


Saix smiled softly as he leaned into Demyx. So, his sister was getting married? She might of told him over the phone... but if they were talking while Demyx was playing, he might not of heard it. He was happy for his little sister... she would finally be real happy. That all he wanted her to be when they were growing up.


Kairi giggled and looked over at Tidus. Yea, it brought her back to that sunny day when she was looking out at the ocean on the beach and a shadow blocked her sun. She had turned to see a very shy man looking all over but at her. She gasped when he suddenly dropped to one knee. She knew HE knew about all the things Riku and Sora had done for her attention... but... he wanted to marry her.

Kairi never thought she would marry someone younger than her! Or that it would be Tidus... but after all they went through and all the things he had done for her... she couldn't say no. She had really fallen in love with him... and they had a beautiful girl together!


Fuu smiled as she felt the ring go on her finger. Aerith laughed softly was she helped the silverette up. A blush covered her face as she looked away. She had never fainted before.
Well... she had been an orphan... and like Seifer... she was more than thankful to be with someone who loved her. Now... she was going to get married with her one and only.

She slowly wrapped her arms around Aqua's neck and leaned in, giving her a passionate kiss. Who cared if everyone was looking? She didn't.


Ven smiled as he watched the two. He was kinda happy that the woman with ball was going to get married. When they first met... boy, she was something else. He kind of thought it was cute that Olette and Fuu made Aqua realized her feminine side and actually started wearing make up and painting each other's nails. Then again... Axel and Roxas painted each other's nails...

He shook he head and looked back, seeing Terra watch as well. An arm wrapped around the hard waist as he pulled himself closer. He buried his face in Terra neck and smiled, holding the bowl carefully. Closing his eyes, a whisper pressed on the Atterian's skin.
"I love you..."

Roxas chuckled softly as he felt the hands around him, leaning back against his lover. He smiled softly, nuzzling the other. He could still remember two years ago after his birthday... Axel proposing on that perfect, perfect night.

And then wedding itself... it had been so wonderful - a little nerve-wracking but wonderful. He felt so happy for his brother and friends. He leant up, kissing the other under the chin softly.


Invidia purred softly at the nuzzle before also taking leave over to her masters' sides. She was happy everything worked out alright - even if she didn't completely understand it.

She stopped by Riku's feet purring softly.

Tensai giggled as he was kissed, snuggling up against his dad happily. He didn;t know why everyone was suddenly so happy - was their gonna be more cake?!

Sora chuckled, wrapping his arms around Riku's waist, grinning. "Well technically it's a wedding and a blood bonding -whatever that is." He leaned close, nuzzling the other's neck. "I can't believe I'm gonna get to see my brother get hitched!"

Why... did his heart suddenly clench when he said those words?

Tensai's eyes dropped a little and he yawned - he hadn't yet had a nap today. The little tyke was exhuasted. He snuggled up closer to Riku, his eyes falling shut, already tuning out all the talk about him.

Sora blinked glancing at Tensai and had to repress an adoring 'ahhhh'. "Hey Ri..." The brunette whispered. "I think he fell asleep."


Seifer shook his head when Olette proposed they celebrate. they just DID! There had to be rules about these things - one celebration per week or month or... something.

He glanced at Olette, smiling fondly. He could still remember their wedding - almost a completely silent affair uip on Sunset Hill. gathering the cfourage to propose had been one thing - to get married was another entirely. And he got to do it mostly alone! Well no, he had Raijin and Fuujin - his best friends to back him up.

Lucina giggled. "How romantic!" she said, fantiszing. "I wanna be proposed too! In a biiiiig boat!" She nodded, as if she had just determined her life's mission.


Bryna smiled, seeing her son practically glowing. That... was what she had been waiting for for years. His pure happiness. Now all of her boys were completely happy.

And now they could finally accept the Atterian into their family. She knew Terra would be a good husband for her son. She could still remember those long monthes when Ventus had been in a coma and Terra had never left his side, always there, always waiting, always caring for him. It was that sort of devotion her boy deserved... that sort of love he desereved to have.

She turned some to look at her husband, and frowned at the disdainful look on his face. "Rocco!" she hissed quietly, scolding him. They weren't back to this AGAIN were they?


Demyx grinned placing his hands over Saix's. "I wonder you think she'll let me play the music at her wedding?" He asked, eyes glimmering excitedly. That would be SO awesome if he could play the wedding march!


The dirty-haired blonde smiled kindly, reaching out his hand and clasping it with hers, larger figners encasing her delicate ones. This day had been... perfect. How was it the Christmas' were getting so large?

He wondered where the next one was. Probably... Disney Castle. Oh won't King Mickey have fun with that idea!


Aqua giggled some as she stood as well, seeing the embaressed blush crossing the other's face. It was rather cute actually. She smiled as the other looked at her, letting herself be drawn into the kiss.

Her own blue eyes fell shut, her hands curling into the fabric of the back of the woman's shirt, kissing back as well. Fuujin was hers now and forever.


Terra chuckled a bit. It was ironic how he, who had practically been panicking non-stop since he thought up this ltitle idea had such an easier time while aqua, who had been confidant up until today, had to watch her lover. Heh karma must be on his side.

He blinked however when suddenly a shorter body was suddenly up against him, blonde strands tickling his neck. At the other's words his heart melted, "Ven..." He breathed, a hand reaching up to run soothingly through the tops of the blonde spikes, smiling. "I love you too." he whispered back, dropping soft kisses atop the other's head. He'd never been happier then he was right now.

Riku blinked and looked down, seeing Ten all nestled up on him. He smiled and slowly stood. He took the nose off the baby and cradled him closer. He carefully walked over Vi and headed up the stairs.
As he walked up, he could hear talking start up again downstairs.

He walked into the dark room that was only brightened from the moon. Slowly he walked to the crib, minding the toys on the floor. He laid the little guy down and pulled the new blanket over him. He smiled as he snuck a stuffed Paopu fruit under the boy's arm and watched him cuddle up to it. He leaned down and planted a small kiss on the boy's head before pulling off his own antlers.

His hand reached down but before he could touch the boy's head, he heard a slamming of a door. He frowned and looked back at the hallway. He wondered if one of the Chasers were in one of their moods again. He looked back at Tensai quickly. "Night..." He said softly before heading back downstairs.

Oddly enough, all the Chasers were there... it was his father-in-law who was gone.


Sirocco frowned as he watched the scene between the two women and his son. He frowned even more when his wife snapped at him.Was this whole generation going queer!? His hands were pulled into fist and he turned.

This was enough of this...

He walked to the door and opened in, then slammed it shut when he left.
Everyone stopped and looked at the door.


Ven smiled softly as he felt the soft touches. They really never had moments like this before...
And unfortunately, this one ended abruptly.
He pulled away and looked back, seeing his father leave in a fury. He... was never like that before.

He glanced at his mother who seemed to be quite embarrassed and reinsured everyone that everything was ok.

Everyone still felt a bit uncomfortable.


Axel looked down at his watch and made a fake yawn. "Welp, I think it's about time we get going. Need to put little Roxel to bed."
"I no tiwed!" The little boy pouted as he looked up at his tall dad. Axel grinned as he reached down and picked him up. "Yea you are, you just don't know it yet!"

Everyone took Axel's idea. It seemed like the party was over this year.
Everyone gave hugs and good wishes. Some reminders to call came out, especially news about the wedding and blood bonding... even if no one knew what blood bonding was.

Kairi, Namine and Tidus all gathered their things and headed out first, thanking everyone for the gifts and that they couldn't wait till next year.

Axel, Roxas, Roxel, Xio hugged everyone goodbye as Maxie waited at the door. Xio nuzzled and licked Vi one last time before rushing to his master. They gathered their things as well and headed back to the beach so Roxas could summon the Gummi.

Demyx hugged everyone while Saix gave his sister a small hug and wished her the best at planning the wedding. They too gathered their thing and Saix practically had to drag the blonde away so he wouldn't chew anyone's ear off.
They used the moon's gravity to warp back to Dragoon.

Carina hugged her son and son-in-law and wished everyone the best as well before taking her things and leaving with Bryna.

The Chasers left last as usual.
Sora tried to get a hug from Terra again... which wasn't happening. Aqua and Fuu were attached at the hip... so it was hard to hug them. Gunnar and Lucina hugged Riku and Sora before they all left back to the large air craft that was rested on the beach.

All in all... it was a great day.


Axel yawned as he laid out on the large bed. Man, was it a busy day. His stomach gargled happily as he patted it. Man... that meal and cake was yummy! He should of asked if he could bring home a piece! He knew little Ten loved cake though.

He pulled off his shirt and pants and rolled around in the bed with his boxers. Roxel had been given a bath and changed into clean pajamas before getting tucked into bed. Xio laid with the boy until he fell asleep then would find his place back in the king size bed.
Maxie was in her usual spot in front of the fire.

Axel grinned as Roxas got into bed and inched closer. He wrapped his arms around the blonde and pushed his pelvic on Roxas's butt. "Hey Rox.... Roxel is out like a light... how abouts we..."
"Not tonight..."
The redhead's eyes widened as he got the muffled answer. He sighed but smiled. "Fine~~~ Love ya!" He reached over and turned off the lights, nuzzling his husband more as he closed his eyes.


The golden bowl was placed on the dresser and a red balloon lollipop was placed in it.
Blue eyes softened as they looked at the two and turned to watch a brunette start to get into his sleep wear.

He sat down on the other side of the bed and looked out the window at the stars that were passing by.

"I wonder what their wedding was like. I bet they had a big cake and lots of gifts!" A young, teenage blonde said as he sat on the beach, looking out over the ocean. The stars were glowing in the reflection as the sound of a fire crackling could be heard behind him.
"Pfft... weddings."
The blonde blinked and looked back, seeing a young brunette rolling his eyes as he poked the bird that was cooking.

The blonde smiled and got up, dusting the sand off him as he walked over and sat on a near by rock.
"Oh come on Terra... there must of been weddings on Atteris."
"Actually, there wasn't."
The blonde blinked, looking confused. "Well then... what was there?"
"Blood Bonding."
"Blood Bonding? What's that?"
He bit his lip as the other blue eyes looked at him. "You really want to know?"
The blonde nodded and leaned in closer.

By the time Terra was done explaining the whole ritual, the blonde just blinked.

Never in his mind at that age would he think about ever doing it. Well... then again... never in his mind at that age did he think he'd be here either.

Slowly he leaned back, their backs touching as he sighed softly.
"You know... I've been wondering if that place even exist anymore."
He was sure Terra would know what one he was talking about.
"I hope... I didn't make it disappear when I took the keyblade from it. Maybe... the keyblade made the world." It wouldn't be a wild idea either. For such a small world... it might of just been created out of the power of the key.

He closed his eyes and smiled.
"If we could find it again... that's where I would like the ceremony..." He didn't know if Terra wanted it on Atteris or not... but that night on that world... was just so special..

Sora smiled gently, his arms falling from around his husband's waist - realeasing him so he could take their son to bed. He watched his lover, eyes flittered fondly as he slipped past the partygoers almost completely unnoticed. Anyone who did catch sight of the touching scene merely smiled and some even gave a quiet 'aaah'.

The brunette watched his husband disappear behind the door, unable to take his eyes away - until he caught something alarming from the corner of his eye. He turned his head, just in time to see his father stomping for the door, fury written all over his face. The door was opened and slammed shut with enough power to rattle some windows.

Sora winced and Vi gave an alarmed bark, jumping into his lap. He pet her soothingly, his own blue eyes darkened as he stared at the door - completely at a loss for words for the first time in his life.

Why...? Why couldn't he ever be happy for them?


Roxas, whose eyes had dropped a little with a happy sort of exhuastion, felt a sudden forebidding sense overcome his heart - one that he recognized coming from Sora. He looked up - just in time to catch sight of the door opening and then slamming shut - even though he saw it he still jumped a little, wide awake once more.

He blinked in aghastment - then slowly glanced towards Sora, seeing a melancoly look on his Somebody's face. Fury overcame him immediately, the old protectiveness for his Other overcoming him once more. Back then, he had never wanted anything bad to befall Sora - whether it be physical or emotional. He'd always felt so useless then, stuck within his somebody with no way to help... now he could.

He shook a little, feeling Axel's arms tightened every so slightly in an attempt to comfort him. That and only that stopped Roxas from tearing out the door himself and giving his father one hell of a lesson - probably more likely with fists then words. Damn it NO one fucked with his brother's feelings.


Terra was about to get closer - maybe drop another few kisses on the others brow, when a door slamming brought him back to realty and he lifted his head, catching sight of Sirocco in the window. He blinked then he moved his gaze from the sad look on Sora's face, to one of fury on Roxas' and finally he looked at Ven who looked both baffled and unhappy.

The wolf frowned as well, feeling utter protectiveness sweep over him as he drew the blonde closer still. He didn't really like Ven's parents - he didn't really hate them either but he'd had had so many 'parents' in life his respect for his elders was... rather slim - sans Aerith of course. And one thing he completely DIDN'T understand was how... Sirocco was angry at the fact that his children were dating those of the same gender.

Atterians might be evil creatures at heart - but they were not bigoted or homophobic in any way. There was rarely a gay one - of course he got to be apart of that unique gene pool - but when there was they were treated the same as the next one - by strength alone. And as long as the mate was marked - they left you and him alone for good. So as far as Terra was concerned Ven was his and only his and sirocco should stay out of their damn business.


The door slamming even snapped Aqua and Fuujin out of their liplock - the two giving a confused glance around. The bluette quickly picked out the missing guest and her eyes turned towards Bryna who was blushing embaressedly.

"Uh... what happened?" Aqua asked confused.

"Oh um... n-nothing." the woman explained.

"Is... he um... alright?" Demyx asked nervously, pressing up against his lover's side. He had never particularily liked angry feelings.

"Oh, he'll be fine. Everything's okay." Bryna said, brushing down the hem of her skirt, sending nervous glances to her sons - and she did not like what she saw on either of their faces. Each one made her heart hurt.

Just then Axel thought it wise to step in with an overly-exaggerated yawn - making up an excuse to leave. Yet it was a good one. It WAS late.


Sora's eyes saddened a little more - not really wanting the party to end yet. It didn't seem like it had been long enough! Especailly for the chasers who he never really saw ever. He sighed however, knowing nothing good really could last for an eternity. Life was made of light and darkness... thats what Riku always said.

So he smiled as Kairi and her family packed up to leave, sharing well wishes for them and waving, promising to make plans to see each other again, and 'oh what about New Years?' And tidus laughed, thinking that was absolutely perfect, saying something about chapagne. And Sora told little Namine to hurry and come by to play with Tensai again - and then they were gone.


Suddenly the brunette found himself wrapped up in a tight hug - and was surprised eyond measure. Usually HE initated all hugs. He turned in the arms, even more surprised to find it was Roxas.
"Are you okay?" The blonde whispered worriedly.
Sora blinked, then his smile became a little more true as his arms answered the embrace. that was his Nobody for ya. He had always looked out for him in these small ways and they always touched his heart. "Yeah Rox, I'm good."
The blonde searched him suspiciously, not quite believeing him before sighing. "Call me whenever you need to."
"Silly I already knew that." the brunette joked.
"And yet I didn't know about you and Riku fighting over Tensai until it was all over, explain that hmmm? Selfless idiot."
Sora blushed a bit, remembering that his excuse had been that he didn't want Roxas to start hating Riku all over again - especally after they seemed to be getting along so much better...

He shrugged sheepishly, before distangling himself from the blonde with a grin, hugging the rest of the Xipil family - well except for Xio who he pet and he could only wave to the stuck up female moomba since she refused to come near. He grinned at Axel, wishing him another Merry Christmas and to take good care of his brothers - and oh 'don't burn the house down okay'? Roxas made some off-handed comment on how he worried about that every day on his way home from work. 'Hey!' yelled the pyro.

He told little Roxel how much he was gonna miss him and hopefully his next visit won't be when he's seven feet tall. (That was of course if he got Axel's GIANT genes (as Roxas called them) and not Roxas' DWARF genes (as Axel called them)). The boy seemed to find it hilarious and he waved, telling Sora and Riku to make sure Tensai knew he said goodbye.

Vi gave an affectionate purr at Xio's nuzzle, barking a goodbye and wagging her tail. the minute they were out the door she jumped into the window sill, watching Roxas summon Oathkeeper and point it to the sky. Brillant white light streamed.

Then they were gone.


Aqua smiled as she was brought into a hug, promising to keep her brother informed about the wedding and what not. From the corner of her eye she could see Demyx zipping around to share hugs and last minute conversations - having a hard time keeping up with himself because he only had Saix to worry about and the beserker didn't much care for hugs and small talk so he had to be quick.

"You better hurry before he chews of someone's ear." Aqua giggled, stepping aside so her brother could catch his overly excited sitarist and Sora showed them out the door, wishing them well and to send his regards to the dragons. Demyx looked back, opening his mouth to start another conversation - but quickly found his lips occupied by another set. And then they also were gone.


Bryna, a little reluctant to leave on such a bad note, did her best. She hugged Roxas of course, murmuring softly to try and qualm his anger. Though he was not her son born of natural causes she still knew how to read him. Even after the blonde promised he was fine, she could still see that lurking anger in his eyes - and recognized it instantly from the time he had revealed his engagement to Axerl to her and Sirocco and got much the same reaction.

Come to think of it, she'd even seen that look in Sora's eyes before, back when her boy was 16 - one of his first 'strange' beheavirs that she had noticed that seemed oddly alienated from her son's normal temperment. She understood a little after she had met and understood the complications of Roxas' 'beingness' that those unnatural and isolated behavoirs had come from him and not her sweet-mannered son who forgave all too easily.

Bryna gave a worried look to her son, before giving a hug to her son-in-law making him promise to take good care of Roxas - even if she already knew he would - and finally she said goodbye to her grandson, kissing him on the forehead fondly.

As for Sora, she ran a comforting hand through his hair, embracing him and apologizing profusely for his father's actions. sora smiled however, brushing it off uncaringly. The sad look that had been in his eyes already disappeared. He had forgiven him already - or at least put the thoughts away for now. She had a feeling Riku might have to deal with it. She gave the silverette an affectionate hug as well, smiling in farewell and telling him to visit anytime.

The brunette grinned a little - murmuring that next time she came over she'd have to make her speacial cinnonmon cookies for Tensai to try.
"You just want them all to yourself don't you?"
Sora blinked, innocent as good be. TOO innocent. "Never!"
Bryna smiled, knowing her son two well. "I'll make two batches~"
"EE! I love you mom!"

As for Ven... she not only huggged him, but gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Oh hon, I'm so happy for you!" Both him and Terra could tell the words were spoken from the heart. "I was waiting for this day to come." She admitted softly, a sheepish smile on her face.

She looked at Terra, who had the modesty to blush at her words and she chuckled giving him a small yet warming hug as well (was it just her or could she hear Sora complaining in the background) "Now you take care of my little Ventus, ya hear?"

"Um... S-Sure?" The brunette said awkwardly.

Bryna smiled a bit, stepping away to stare at them both. they were a strange, strange pair - yet one that because of it's strangeness fit so well. She knew Terra's devotion and love to Ven was nothing short of miraculous. After watching the brunette's caring over the boy in that coma she knew he was the one - the only one for her boy.

And as for Ventus - she had never seen his blue eyes glimmer so beautifully before. It was as if, despite all the hardships and lonliness he had been forced to endure, in that one simple second his life had become perfect. She hoped... that look never fully died away from him again.

She gave a final smile before she gathered her things and left with Carina, happy for the company. She couldn't help but chatter excitedly with the woman, saying how glad she was to finally see all three of her sons this happy. She spoke nothing of the dark presence that awaited her at home - or the arguement that was likely to stir up over old issues that had been talked to death. She would not think of that now.

They were gone.


Sora gave a pout, turning on his heels and stalking up to Terra, eyes determined as he stretched out his arms-

"Hell no."

"B-B-But!!"

"You're way too touchy-feely for your own good Sora. How are you and Ven related again?"

Sora stuck out his tongue. "You're just insecure with your feminine side."

Ven seemed to find this hilarious and laughed. The brunette grinned, hugging the other fondly and murmured something about keeping in touch with him about this 'ceremony' - even if it wasn't something he could be invited to he still wanted all the details.

He moved on to Aqua and Fuujin, not really caring that the hug turned into a group hug. He grinned, congradulating them and telling them that he hoped when they wrote out inviations that they didn't forget him or Riku. Even if the wedding happened somewhere in connection 156 he wanted to be there!

Aqua chuckled, promising that he was definitely on the guest list - and possibly on the bakers list too. She still remembered how great Roxas and Axel's had been. Sora's grin turned into something even more excited, saying how much he;d love to help out in anyway he could.

He gave the couple another well-wishing before moving onto the rest of the Chasers. He hugged Gunnar and Lucina, making them swear that they'd keep to their studies no matter what. 'Good fighters don't only fight with their brawn but their brains y'know'. He had learned that one from Riku as well. He also told them he hoped Santa Claus found them well in space.

He hugged Olette wishing her another Merry Christmas and hipefully next time she didn't get stuck helping with decorations. It seemed every christmas she got stuck doing that. The woman only laughed, telling him she didn't mind at all. But next time their would be orange. Lots of it.

He didn't even bother to hug Seifer (last time he had gotten threatened of a gunblade going up his ass), waving meekly and telling the blonde he hoped for his gift from Santa he receieved kindness. The gunblader's eye twitched but he wisely said nothing.

Finally he hugged Aerith, telling her how he hoped her flowers would grow well and wishing her good luck on taking care of all the chasers - she was definitely going to need it.

Then they too were gone.


Sora sighed, watching the ship disappear in the sky, becoming yet another star, before he and Riku went back inside, the house almost depressingly empty. He watched his lover go about turning off the lights while he packaged up the remainder of the drinks and stocked them in the fridge, covered the cake and too care of the remainder of the food - slipping a few bites here and there until Riku caught him at it, giving him a playful swat to the hand.

Most of the decorations stayed up - the brunette complaining of exhuastion and how it would all be there tommorrow. They took to their stairs, and they both slipped in to check on Tensai, still sound asleep in his crib.

Sora smiled fondly, ruffling the boy's hair and leaning over, running his fingers through the overly soft hair. "Goodnight Ten. Sweet dreams." He whispered, before stepping away and towards the bedroom. Invidia was already there, her plush moomba at her side at the foot of the bed. He pet her atop the head, fingers trembling ever so slightly as he blinked rapidly, trying to dispel the tears in his eyes.

Fuck, he thought he was over this.


Roxas sighed, letting Axel take Roxel to bed - making sure to say goodnight of course - before heading to their bedroom, quickly getting udnressed and into his sleep clothes. It really only consisted of his boxers and an overly large shirt - Axel's in fact - that came down to his knees and slipped on his shoulders, revealing little sneaks at the tattoo.

He sat down on the bed just waiting, and when Axel entered, murmuring about how their son was already falling asleep he smiled somewhat and laid down, just waiting for the red-head to join him. Soon the nearly naled body was against him - but suddenly it was against him, a seductive trill in his husband's voice.

Uh oh.

"Not tonight..." Roxas murmured. He wasn't really that tired - but after the way the night had just ended he... wasn't in the mood. After six monthes of abstinance you'd think he'd jump for the chance of sex. But no... he just couldn't. How many times had he denied him...?

He heard the almost esasperated sigh from behind him, a hand reaching out to collaspe them into darkness yet the words were soft and adoring like always. A shot of guilt rushed through him, making his stomach turn. He felt so undeserveing of that love all of a sudden...

"Aren't you EVER gonna eat it?" Terra asked, sparing a glance towards the candy still laying on the nightstand, gathering dust.
"Nope." Ven responded, staring at the map in his watch, searching over the smaller words attentively.
"Well that defeats the purpose doesn't it?"
"Nope."

"It is serving it's purpose. I don't know if I'll ever see another like it - it's the last of it's kind like you. and I want to perserve them."
"... and you say I'M too fucking sappy."
"Yep."

Terra smiled fondly, before turning away, pulling on his sleep pants before stting upon the bed, surprised when a comfortable weight was suddenly against his back. At first Terra was confused - but he quickly understood the blonde's meaning.

The wolf smiled softly, remembering that world of a calm, unmoving lake and falling lights as if they were stars. that world had been beautiful and rare. And special. It was where Ven first said 'I love you'. There first time making love...

It was the place of a real beginning for them.

"Yeah... when we hit connection 4 we'll start searching for it again." Terra murmured softly. "It would be... perfect."

He really didn't care were the ceremony was to be honest - the important part was the bonding itself. Ven called all the shots though. That's how it had always been. He... still couldn't get over the joy that the blonde had agreed and had he been someone else he would of been bouncing around the room with happiness.

His hand reached back suddenly, covering Ven's that laid upon the bedsheets, larger fingers curling securely around the other's. His... Ven was his - now and forever. His heart... had never felt lighter.

Riku sighed contently as he turned off the lights downstairs and headed upstairs behind Sora. They both stopped at Ten's room which was a slight mess from all the other children. One was a handful, he couldn't imagine how Olette and Seifer did it with two.

He smiled as Sora leaned over and said good night to the little boy. Riku just watched silently, looking down at the sleeping child. It was odd... he still wondered where the boy came from. Kairi had come from a boat... and Tensai in a basket.

His eyes slowly moved to the window, looking at the ocean meeting the horizon.
Destiny...
He shook his head and kissed Ten on the forehead before turning on the monitor. He turned out the lights and flipped the night light on before walking to their bedroom.

Another sigh admitted as he pulled off his shirt and ruffled up his own hair. He slowly pull down his pants and suddenly... felt a tug at his heart. He looked back, seeing Sora on the bed with Vi. He dropped his pants and pulled out of them, his black boxers making his fair skin quite apparent.

"Sora?" He asked softly as he sat on the bed, looking at his husband's face.


On the Chaser's airship, which they had called Sigurd (Victorious Guardian), it was quite quiet.

The kids giggled in their bed as Olette and Seifer said goodnight. They were all excited about their new things. Like all children, they LOVED Christmas!

Aerith was in her room, working on the new flowers and pots she was given. She smiled as she placed one on an empty spot and looked up, seeing the framed picture Ven had given to her of Zack. Her eyes grew sad for a moment but she smiled softly.
"Merry Christmas Zack."

As for Fujin and Aqua... well... they were in their room... all night.


Blue eyes lowered and looked down at their hands combined. A small smile appeared as he moved his fingers to wrap around the other. He too didn't care where it was... that wasn't really the point... but that world was really special. He wanted Aerith to see it too...

He looked away and then down, his eyes becoming sad all of a sudden. This feeling... where was it coming from?
A sigh came out softly as he held the other's fingers tightly.

So... this ceremony was all about the mate. It would be... Ven's day. He had to admit... their relationship was quite... odd. It was border lining healthy. Olette had stopped screening their wounds because she couldn't tell which ones were from the battle field or which ones were from the bedroom.

It never bothered Ven. It was violent and rough. Harsh words were spoken and blood was always drawn. But it seemed like no one understood that there was a connection too. At least he thought there was. He wondered if the Atterian females felt this way too. But... he kind of wanted to 'make love' again... even if... he was scared of it. He nodded slightly and leaned back more as he turned around and leaned his chin on Terra's shoulder. His hand pulled away from the others but found itself running down hard abs.

It was a major bummer... but he could hear the sadness in his voice. He knew it had to do with Sirocco. Stupid old guy! He nuzzled Roxas's face once more and kissed him softly. "Get some sleep huh? I'm sure Roxel will be full of it tomorrow with his new toys."

He pulled Roxas closer and closed his eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep.

Xio felt the soft breaths of the toddler on his fur and slowly pulled away. He gently licked the boy before gently taking the carbuncle in his mouth. He jumped off the bed and walked out of the room, heading for the master bedroom. There was some gloom in the air and his ears lowered, turning around slowly and walking back to Roxel's room.

She was already missing everyone so much. Because the Chasers traveled so much they never saw anyone else except each other. And sometimes being around so many adults besides her brother made her feel terribly lonely...

But she still wanted to take up her parents legacy - become a Chaser and help save worlds. To be a heroine! That'd be the life.


The wolf sometimes wondered a lot of the same things Ven did. Despite being of the race he did not know and understand everything. He had been isolated, unique - and he grew up not only on his mother's teachings but of the books in the library that had taught him more about social life outside of the worlds...

If it wasn;t for the fact that Axel was there, his heart surprinsly calm and evened breathes soothing, he was certain he wouldn;t of been able to fall asleep that night.

That morning he awoke to Axel's restless movements beside him and then the red-head seemed to grumble and get out of bed. The blonde cracked his eyes open, watching the other as he went into the bathroom, chuckling softly at the other;s half-asleep appearance. Even to this day he was amazed how Axel could walk around like a zombie in the morning and still be able to be completely fluid.

He was just glanced at the clock - groaning at how early it was - when he heard the soft noises from the bedroom down the hall. Roxel. He sat up, sighing. Well, it was time to get up. He knew Axel didn;t take tomornings well - even after they 'had' Roxel around for so long, the red-head still could hardly muster the strength to get outta bed in the morning. Of course he made up for that during the night when Roxas was exhuasted so it all evened out...

He saw the others look turn surprised and confused, and he chuckled.

The blonde nobody suddenly reached up fingering his X-shaped pendant as he walked closer climbing into the bed. The king sized mattress groaned a little in protest, not used to ahve so much weight on it in such a situation.

Roxas leant over, biting the top of the red-head's ear, hissing. "You naughty boy - I'm going to punish you for your crimes." He plunged his tongue into the shell of the ear, his fingers curling around the pendant he had 'forgotten'. "Each and every one." Olette smiled as he wrapped he arms around her husband's neck and pulled him close. She was in her cute, little orange night gown as usual. "Night honey... and Merry Christmas!" She giggled before she kissed him back softly.

Another fun and successful Christmas! She couldn't wait till next year! She leaned into his warmth and sighed contently.


Gunnar shot some blanks at the ceiling before putting the toy away. He nuzzled up to his moomba and smiled as he got comfy. He too was excited about one day becoming an official Chaser. Well... he already was... but he couldn't wait for his first mission! The first keyblade he locks away. The first world he saves from the keyblade's wrath.

His mako eyes opened and looked out at his sister. "Night Luci~"


Ven blinked as he got the response. A soft blush ran over his cheeks before Terra looked back, Their blue eyes met and Ven smiled softly. Their lips met softly, an audible sound coming from it as they pulled away. "I have something for you." He said softly before leaving the bed and walked to the closet.

He opened the door and dug through some things before pulling a black pouch out of a hidden spot in his owl jacket.
He walked over and sat back down, handing the pouch to the brunette.

When the Atterian dumped the content of the pouch in his hand, a titanium ring hit his palm. It was polished so well that it seemed like a mirror, reflecting their faces on it. It was simple but customized. It had engravings of a wolf running and a gust of wind behind it.
Ven smiled as he leaned into Terra. "If you weren't going to ask... I was."


Roxel had climbed out a bed early that morning. He was just so excited about Christmas! When Roxas came in, he saw the little boy playing with the large lion. The little carbuncle was 'running' up the lion's back.

"HAA--AANN! FUCK!" Ven shivered more as he thrust deep into the pyro as his brother pulled back. His dark eyes peered over at his brother, sweat running down his face. He pushed onto Axel, making them all get closer. His tongue reached out for his brother's lips and found what he was looking for.

Axel's narrow eyes shifted as he panted, seeing the two twins battling with their tongues.

That did it.

His entrance started to twitch as he could feel it coming again. Unfortunately, the two blondes were too busy to notice.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"
The redhead could only see white as cum shot out onto his own bare chest and Roxas's. With the shudders from inside Axel went down into the other two members, making a delicious sucking motion as Axel came.

He rubbed his sweaty chest as he walked to the bathroom and gave himself a quick shower. His... butt felt kinda funny...
When he was done, he dried off and walked back to the room, getting dressed and was about to go downstairs when he noticed something.

There was a LARGE wet spot on his side of the bed.
His eyes widened as he felt embarrassed, looking around to make sure no one else saw. Only him and the rest of the inanimate objects in the room. Wasn't he too old to get wet dreams!?

He sighed as he pulled the king size sheets off the bed and stuffed them into the hamper. He picked it up and walked to Roxel's room, grabbing his dirty clothes too and hobbling downstairs with the large, overflowing pile of laundry.
He walked into the kitchen and Roxel squealed happily. "DADDY UP!"

"Hey kiddo~" Axel waved, not bothering to look as he was headed straight to the basement. He didn't know if he could do laundry before having a cup of coffee...

Sora yawned his eyes dropping as Riku and Ten's voices disappeared from the monitor, hearing the soft sounds of someone walking down the stairs, eeiry in the complete darkness of night. He always loved it how Riku was able to navigate so easily through the dark though - it made storms without flashlights or candles a hell of a lot more comforting. Especially if they lost track of Ten in the process.

He stretched out on the bed, turning on his side. His mind was drifting away - an inane though coming to him. tommorrow they should swim. Of course they couldn;t REALLY swim cause Tensai was too young to especally in the big ocean but...

One day he couldn't wait to teach him. Maybe when he was a little older - five? If he was actually five at the time of course. Ten's birthday was, of course, only a pretend one. So was Kairi's - who came here with no family at all. A few other kids had 'pretend' birthdays too. The ones that drifted to the Islands all alone. Wakka's was too if he recalled correctly.

They had to take a lot of guesses on the matter - but because Tensai had bene just a baby they just looked at the developmental process and... guessed. Not even a full year old - so they moved his birthday from the time he was found (early spring) and gave him a birthday in fall. September 27th - exactly six monthes after they had found him.

Now, with his birthday passed one more, he was probaly three or close Three years old - and he and Riku still had to see a lifetime. He couldn't wait.

Sora's breathing evened out - and slowly he fell asleep.

Invidia purred happily, nuzzling her moomba - already affectionately naming it Xio. Of course that was the point. they'd been friends since she was a little kit and even though they didn' see each other regularily, she still remembers him as her first friend. They had slept together in front of the fire and chased each other around the backyward, and groomed one another after a meal. She never forgot that - and thats why they stayed friends.

She yawned and curled around her plush, feeling her master settling as well. The house was getting incredibly quiet - everything was good now.

Tensai cooed as he finished his milk letting his dad take it from him. He let the other lead him around, and when he reached the potty he was quietly proud that he knew what to do. He remembered how happy his other daddy had been - they had celebrated. It had been so exciting.

Once he was done, his daddy led him back to his crib. "Nigh', nigh'." The toddler said sleepily, looking up at Riku. He yawned a bit, eyes closing. With the comforting presence of his father hovering over him, it was easy to fall asleep.


Roxas laughed good-naturedly as Roxel joined in. "thats it!" He said with a wide smile. Maybe Roxel would grow up to like singing like he did. Maybe - probably. He did have a piece of his heart. And he'd probably love fire and burning stuff too.

Roxas worried about that sometimes though - that Roxel would have nothing uniquely HIS in life. It would all be modeled after him or Axel because his heart was not truely his own. He worried and wondered and thought about it a lot actually - but... then again he was four and imitation was unnatural. At least thats what Sora told him. His kids loved to mimic him all the time as if it were all a game.

So maybe he had to stop worrying so much.


"Ngh... fuck..." Roxas gasped out as he was fully inside. His eyelids fluttered and he licked his lips, slowly catching his breath as so much pressure wass put on his erection. He grunted as Ven pulled back and then in again, making his own body jerk. "Fuuuuck. Nii-saaaan." He slowly understood though, and did the same, slamming into his lover hard.

He grinned cruelly, hearing Axel. "Thats right... keep screaming. It's exciting." He grunted again as he and Ven took turns thrusting the pleasure already beginning to mount once more. So... fucking... hot.

Ven suddenly started moving faster - so roxas did as well. his eyes blurred some but he was still able to catch the look in Ven;s eyes, and then the blonde moved them all closer. Then suddenly he felt Axel tightened around him and Ven both, the grip powerful enough to keep him and Ven immobile at first. He felt something hot and wet splatter across his chest and he chuckled. Then suddenly his twin slammed Axel down, the still twitching muscles bringing them both to a simaltous climax. "AAAAH!" Roxas cried, back arching as he spilled.

"Ha.... haaaa...." The blonde panted, grinning appreciatively as Ven and he pulled out. he reached his fingers up, smearing the red-head's cum over his chest more before licking the fingers clean, sucking on them like they were some great treat. "Mmmmm~"

He lounged back on the bed, looking down at the bound and exhuasted red-head. He laughed a little as Ven leaned against him, reaching up to curl an arm around the other's waist, fingers dancing along hard abs. "Yeah, next time... maybe we should invite Terra too." His evil grin was the last thing Axel would see before he awoke.


Roxas jumped a little at the yell, just putting fresh, cooked waffles on a plate for Roxel. He looked back and smiled, seeing the red-head, but blinked in concern as he seemed to brush past both of them. "Axel...?" He got no response.

Ut oh...

He looked at Roxel, then towards the door again. He shook his head before putting the waffles and spreading on syrup and cutting them into bite-size pieces before setting them down in front of his son and he smiled. "Enjoy."

He stepped away and walked the few steps towards the basement door, glancing down the dark steps, then towards his son then back towards the steps. There was no way in hell he;d leave Roxel to his own devices - that could be a sticky, sticky mess...

"Axel?! Are you okay?" He called down.

Roxel pouted as his dad just walked by. No morning kiss?? He turned in his chair, watching Axel disappear down the stairs. Even Xio tilted his head as he watched his master leave.

The little boy squealed though as he heard the plate hit the table and turned back in his chair. His blue and green eye widened as he saw the waffle and licked his lips. He took the fork and stabbed a piece before opening his mouth wide, shoving it in. "Mmmmm." It was still warm!

Roxel grabbed his sippy cup and started to sip on the milk happily. Roxas and Axel thought that Roxel was old enough to use a regular cup... but they were dead wrong when they came into the kitchen on day, seeing Xio licking up a full glass of milk that had fallen off the table. The toddler was in the next room playing happily as if nothing had happened.

Axel shoved the sheets into the laundry first and sighed softly. He put the other whites in as well and started up the machine before he flinched, hearing Roxas.
"I'm fine honey! I jsut forgot to do the laundry yesterday! I'll be up in a sec! Can you pour me a cup of coffee!?"

It was true... he didn't do the laundry yesterday like he was going to... but that party came up and such... and WHO DOES LAUNDRY ON CHRISTMAS!?



A deep breath was drawn in as she heard some clippings down below. Her red eye was soft as she blew a piece of her silver hair out of her face. There was some bustling around her as she stood on the stool, staying very still. Some fake flowers were shifted on her waist and a smile could be seen in the mirror.

"So... what do you think about that?"

Her red eye moved to the mirror, seeing Aerith smiling happily at her. On Fujin was a long, white gown. It was tight around the top and flowed out beautifully in a layer. On the side where her waist was was an baby blue, embroidered Chinese dragon. On the layer was baby blue wisps of wind that followed the dragon as it coiled over the flowers. For the dragon's eyes, it had soft red beads and the flowers has small tinges of red in them too.

"It's beautiful..." She whispered as she looked over herself. Aerith had picked out the dress, and Olette picked out the design. Aerith took it upon herself to custom the dress to Fuu's liking.

"Here." The brunette woman handed a fake flower to the woman and Fuu took it. She automatically knew what it was. The stem had been cut and glued fast to a piece of cloth and band. She slowly pulled off her Chaser eye patch, revealing her nasty scar over her eye before fastening the flowered one.

She looked at the mirror once more and smiled slightly.
"Nervous?"
Fuu nodded, not saying anything. Aerith smiled and touched the woman's hand. "Everything will be fine. We'll all be there to cheer you two on.

"I don't deserve to look this pretty..."
Aerith eyes widened as Fuu looked away. How could she---
That was right... Fujin was an orphan....
"Of course you do, Fuu. You'll look even more beautiful when you walk down that isle. You and Aqua both."


Gunnar giggled as he typed on the computer. Him and Lucina were in charge of sending the invitations. Him and his sister were also seeing how fast they could type everyone's address on the envelopes. Olette had taken her sweet time designing the invitations... that by the time she was happy with one, it was only a week before the wedding!


Black boots echoed down the hallway and stopped at an odd looking, clear bubble. The door was opened and closed behind the blonde as he walked into it and to another door that was sealed shut.

Blue eyes looked at the monitor next to the door and then looked behind him, making sure no one was watching. He reached down and pulled out three card keys. They were labeled '1', '2' and '3'. He took a deep breath and looked behind him again, slowly sliding the first one down... then the second... and the third last.

A Chaser simple flashed on the screen and the door slid open. Light burst from the room, but not going any further than the bubble around the door. The blonde stepped in and the door closed behind him.

He swallowed as he looked around the huge room. It was the biggest room in the ship next to the launching room... that they just used as a basement anymore. Ven hadn't been in this room since... since they got the ship.
Technically, he wasn't suppose to be here either...

It was the Lock Chamber.
Where all the captured keyblades were transported to.

He looked up, seeing a... morbid scene. The keyblades... all different shapes and sizes, were dangling from the walls and ceilings by thick chains. Their light and majick sucked away from them as the Light kept them from being summoned.

He wasn't suppose to be here unless all the Chasers agreed to open it up... but Ventus's request was put on hold as Aqua and Fujin were getting ready for their wedding that was taking place on Dragoon.
They had passed Connection 4... and the small, rare world didn't come up on Ven's watch. He was convinced that they world only survived because of that keyblade he had captured... and he needed to summon it.

He walked across the room, hearing the soft clatter of keyblades bumping into each other as they dangled. There were thousands of them. That keyblade could be any where...
Transcendent Oath
He thought of the name and suddenly he felt something tug him to a certain direction. He followed it and stopped.

Looking up, he saw the keyblade that he saw that night. That very special night. He sighed softly and suddenly Aero Maxim appeared in his hands. He looked back up at other keyblade and gripped his keyblade tightly.
They suddenly traded places.
The blonde groaned as he felt his wind majick become weak... but the spirit in his heart growing.

No harm done.

He turned as Transcendent Oath disappeared and headed back to the door. Before he came close to it though, he felt another wave of energy. A dark one. It sent chills down his spine as he slowly looked back to see where it was coming from.
A black and red keyblade stood out amongst the others.
World's End

He shut his eyes tightly before rushing to the door. The feeling of darkness started to grow more as he rushed through and out of the bubble, door closing behind him.
He sighed and shook his head before he walked back into the main of the ship.

What Ventus didn't know... was that the Darkness followed him out the door... and the protective bubble before the door closed....
It dispersed quickly before it was even noticed.
