Sora sighed, frowning disappovingly. "Well with THAT attitude you really WON'T get anywhere." He gave him a bright smile. "Don;t WORRY about it dad. You dont need to remember yet... jsut be there for us." He got out of the car. "Now come on!" He urged the other out as well just when he heard the door opening.
He glanced back, knowing who he;d see and smiled when his prediction was correct. "Raine!" He hurriewd over to the little girk, scooping her up suddenly in a big hug!
He culd see someone with orange hair hurrying down the steps and offered Orihime a smile. "Hope she didn;t give you toomuch trouble Hime."
"Never!" /the woman said cheerfully, then she suddenly caught sight of someone hiding near the car, almost looking like he wanted to disappear but his eyes were wide and kind with curiosity as he looked upon them. She recognized him almost instantly.
But... but how? "Sora... is that?"
"Yeah... it is."

Raine had rushed outside with little warning at all, running until her brother had scooped her up into a hug " Sora-Nii I had a half day today at school and Hime Chan picked me up and we had so much fun!" she shouted hugging onto her brother as tightly as possible, Sora coming home was the most favorite part of her day, but this time he was early was it his day off?
But she stared suddenly and her eyes widened when the man, a man whom she had known since birth, the same man who would read to her before bed, sneak cookies from her mother right before dinner. The same man that would take her to the park and run arond on his shoulders... she just stared as he walked arond the car, she gave a blank stare and her entire body suddenly began to freeze with both chills and excitement " D... Daddy...?"
Tears... tears were all she could remember when Sora had told her that her father wasnt coming back, she remembered waiting at the window staring she wouldnt believe it at all the first month. Everyone told her that her daddy was missing and he wasnt coming back home, that something bad had happend to him... then they told her that he was dead. Those words alone... Sora had described to her dead remembering when her gold fish had died and them flushing it down the toilet... she screamed so long for her father... yelling for him not to be flushed down the toilet... just like her pet fish...
Kyoji came to a pause as he stared at the little girl, something about her seemed so familiar... then he glanced over at the orange haired girl... was she... Sora's wife...? Girlfriend maybe? He looked over she wore a wedding ring on her finger... " Sora you never told me you had such a beautiful wife... I mean..." he scratched the back of his head uncertain of what else to even say. But moments later the little girl had come crashing against him gripping onto his leg tightly.
" DADDY!!!" Raine screamed latching tightly onto his leg " Daddy they didn't flush you down the toilet! They didnt!" she knew it was childish to say, and she knew now that that wasnt what happend when people died but... thats all she remembered crying about the entire time.
Kyoji froze looking down at the little girl, he frowned but suddenly knelt down putting his hands on her shoulders " Raine... your Raine..."
Raine blinked looking at him " Daddy...?" something seemed different...

"H-Huh?" Sora stuttered as his dad suddenly thought... Orihime was his WIFE?! When did he ever indicate that he was MARRIED?
But then suddenly Raine raced away from him yelling about a toilet and chuckled a bit. Oh yeah he forgot about that. Well how was he supposed to explain death to a kid that young?!
He shook his head, wondering why she hadn't grown out of that stage of thought. Was she gonna think everyone who died went down the toilet? Did she think that's what happened to Ryten? He'd have to remind her what death rweally was sometime later.
Sora smiled encouragingly to Orihime before taking her wrist and guiding her over as well. He nodded to his dead. "Yep that's Raine, your youngest daughter." He pointed to the orange-haired woman beside him. "And this is Orihime, Ryten's wife. NOT mine."

Kyoji looked down at the little girl suddenly lifting her up, her hair was much like his own but its colored was chestnut brown just like Sora's was, and her eyes were blue like the sky above them. " Raine... wow... your just the cutest little girl ive ever seen."
" Daddy what are you talking about?" Raine asked grabbing his nose suddenly as if she would never let go, she remembered doing it all the time when he was around it was a trick he had showed her, she pulled her hand back cupping her thumb inbetween two fingers " I got your nose daddy!" she said giggling
Kyoji gave her a dull stare " Oh... Crap...!"he chuckled slightly then glanced over at Orihime and Sora " R... Ryten...?" the name was familiar but only because Sora had mentioned it to him before...

Sora chuckled but nodded. "Yes. Ryten. your eldest son from Ayane. I'm your eldest from Aerith." He knew he was confusing him, but that was okay. slowly, little by little, he teach it all to him. "Come on let;s g inside."
"Oh I can make tea!" Orihime said suddenly, hurrying inside. She didn't know what to make of this man but she knew he was Ryten's father... he seemed so lost though.

Adan's mouth gaped open, seeing the man sitting there in the middle of the living room, surronding by three girls and two boys. The three girls being - Orihime, Raine and Iris. the two boys - Sora and Kenji.his book bag slipped from his shoulder, thunking onto the ground. "D-Dad!" He cried and prbably for the fifth time that day for poor Kyoji, he got smothered. Adan rushed forward, hugging him tightly around the neck. "You're... you're... i knew you weren;t dead!!"
Sora smiled softly then looked up, seeing the other woman walk into the living room. Kairi. Adan got off of school just as she got off of work so she took it upon herself to drive by and pick him up and bring him home. "Now everyone's here." He said.
Iris still hasd this awestruck look on her face as if she still expected her dad to get up and walk away any minute now - or at the very least disentergrate into thin air! It had seemed so unreal when sora had driven them home syaing ' he had a big surprise' waiting for them and then... walking through that door and seeing him even IF he didn't remember them.

But thats exactly how it was, first there was a sudden silence and the silence was very quickly broken by the scream of the children as they smothered him all at once. The faces of these many children... the awe struck look in their eyes and the joy all at once... was he really that important to this family...?
Kenji was the only one not to react he just stood there gripping his fist tightly, he didnt know what to say at all, he breathed just staring then glanced over at Sora hearing " Now everyone's here" no... that wasnt true... " Your wrong..." Kenji said suddenly taking a step back he glared slightly. Where... where had his father been this whole time? Why had he just dis... disapeared like that!? " The only people that matter arent here!" he shouted suddenly as loud as he could.
Kyoji gave an awe struck look towards Kenji when the words came out from the boys mouth, he frowned not knowing what to say... " I..."
Kairi stared watching even she had been shocked with all that had happend, it just wasnt possible. Of course Raichu's body had never been found but... could he really of just lost his memory had been leaving in the alleyways this whole time? Nobody could have spotted him even after the missing persons reports had been pushed out? Even her father, a top notch investigator couldnt find him... with all his efforts and then this... just so simply out of nowhere he appears to Sora like this?

Iris looked over at her brother, her eyes narrowing a bit. What was with him? She was about the snap at him when her eldest brother suddenly stood, a resigned look on his face.
Sora sighed and stood walking over to Kenji and grabbed his arm, yanking him from the room and into the kitchen. He let him go, shoving him back some. "What's with THAT Kenji? Why are you acting like Ryten?"

Kenji trembled staring at his brother he scoffed suddenly " Why!? Why!? How do you expect me to believe that hes lost all his memory and... and... and just been in some alley this whole time!?" Kenji screamed loudly, he was angry, after his father died everything had gone down hill. His mother falling into a Coma that she was very much still deeply inside. Then they lost the house... worste things happend after that... and finally Ryten's death. But now... out of all the times in the world his father suddenly just appears?
To him none of this made any sense at all... he didnt want it to... he just wanted his mother and brother back, he would trade them for his father in a heart beat if given that chance...

Sora looked at him quietly, then frowned a bit, putting his hands on his brother's shoulders. they were close in height now that he was older. "I'm not gonna make you like him Kenji, that's up to you."
He sighed a little. "But... but don;t blame dad for all that's happened okay? I mean sure, everything got a little tougher... and unbearable at times but I mean we survived through that and we should be proud of that." He dropped his hands, sighing again. "Mom'll wake up one dad and.. hey who knows Ryten's just been claimed missing... they still haven;t found a body either. Maybe he'll come home one day."

Kenji grimaced gripping onto his brother " I want for mom to wake up now..."
After all the commotion with the rest of the kids Kyoji had broken away as he stared at the two he frowned " I'm sorry..."
Kenji looked up suddenly staring at the man that looked exactly like his father, he shot a slight glare. " Sorry... SOrry!?"
Kyoji sighed shaking his head " If I could trade myself for them... I would..."

Sora frowned, looking from one to the other, agitated. "Stop it both of you! Enough talk of trading - that's just not how life works!" He shook his head. "Besides... no one should throw their life away like it;s trash." He gave Kyoji a look.
For Kenji it would be a familar line - it was one Aeris had used a long, long time ago -
"Mom i'm thinking... about joining the army." Ryten said, looking diown at his dinner plate.
"The army? Why?"
"Becqause... it;s the only place I feel like i'll so any good!"
"Now Ry that;s not true."
"It is mom, you know with my grades I won;t get into any college. And besides - if I die i'll be a war hero! Everyone's so proud of those who die in war and stuff and-"
"Stop it!" Aeris smacked his hand, her eyes narrowing.
"M-Mom?"
"If you're going to join I can not stop you. However, i will not hear you talk about throwing your life away like it;s trash. Id you go out there... then your mission will be to come back ALIVE you hear me?"
"Y-Yeah mom..."
The other children and Raichu just went along eating their dinner, pretending they heard nothing of the conversation.

All had gone by too fast in one day, everything way to quickly for him to even realize. But even so he knew what he had to do, no matter what he would regain those memories that he had lost, for the sake of this family he had to do it. It was more important than anything else in the world...
Kyoji, Or Raichu was snuck his way out to the backyard, he was sitting up on the roof staring up at the stars, he really didnt know why but it helped him be at ease just sitting up here... almost like he had sat up on this very roof and stared up at those very stars all in the same a great many times before. He could see the pain this family had been in just because he had disapeared... but even so they stuck together and loved and comforted one another through even the most hardest of difficulties... he knew very much that they loved one another, and all he wanted to do was share that love.
" Raichu San... what happend to you...?" Kyoji asked looking down at his hand, how badly he wanted to know why he disapeared. Something... but why... All that Sora knew is that he went out of town on business and then never came back. His mother had filed a police report but nobody had found his body for years... and then now he would just pop out of nowhere. How could he go from such a great man with a wonderful family to a man with no memory or past... a rotten bum living in the alley's living off scrapes just to survive? What in the world was it that drove him that far...? He clenched his fist even tighter and then suddenly his own hair the throbbing pain... each time he tried to think about it... the pain would only get worse... but he had to try...

It was strange... but the more Sora had watched him, the more old habits of Raichu's he began to see. the same smile, the same way of sitting, the same laugh, the same words, the same APPETITE...
He was Raichu in every way he acted just he couldn;t remember being him. He was a little more uncomfortable, slightly more shy, slightly more incertain and unsure of himself...
His old confidence seemed to of been... destroyed. All his life knew was of the horrid tiems on the streets - the fearful times of not having any idea when the next meal would come, from living day by day in the cold and unsure... Well actually Sora knew those times. He and the whole family had lived the same way back in the apartment, living paycheck to paycheck.
Sora murmured softly as he spooned the woman next to him, wrapped his arms around Kairi's waist and bringing her flush against him. He smiled, nuzzling her neck and kissing along her bare shoulder.
