Sin continued to stroke her hand down ryetn's back. her eyes were soft, she hated to hear children cry. why couldn't she help. she looked up at raichu, not answering his question but asking one of her own. "are you ok?"

Raichu frowned turning around not knowing what to say until he shook his head " no im not... I dont know if I can keep protecting Ryten like this... if they keep coming it will be too much for even me to handle..." he sighed staring at the ground " first they took ayame from me and now... now there trying to take my son... if I lose him my life is over basically... there is no point to it"

Sin placed her hand on raichu's. "your son will be safe. i'll take his wounds and his pain. I have no reason to live on. My race is dead and i use to work for shinra, to save my people. But that was a trick too. i was so blind."
she kissed ryetn's forehead. "don't cry child, everything will be fine..."

Raichu smiled slightly as hel looked at her she reminded him.. she reminded him of ayame.. so kind.. always thinking about others before herself.. he sighed looking out the window " you do have a reason to live... dont say that you dont because its just not true... I know my son doesnt want you to die... and neither do I.." he held her hand as he looked into her eyes

Sin smiled a bit and turned away. her pale yellowish-green skin turned pink in the cheaks. she started to rock ryetn and hymned the song that she hymned before. hopefully his crying would fade in time. "i can't stay with you. I'll just make you more hurt that you already are." she shook her head. "i'll just remind you of ayame."

Raichu frowned as he looked at her then turned away " I understand..." he said in a low voice. There was a small part of him that did want to be with Sin... but he new she was right.. he would wait till he died then he would return to his love someday... hopefuly someday that will happen if there really is a heaven

She sighed and looked out the window. it would be a long ride. ryetn started to settle down and she smiled, still rocking him. the stars were out but they didn't seem to shine like they did from underwater. they lost there meaning after she came to land. it was a legend that all good people turned into stars when they died, to give people hope. shooting stars were people who got a second chance. but now that she went to land, she found out that they were only suns to different worlds. she closed her eyes and started hymning again.

Ryten nuzzled close to her and smiled hugging her as if she where his mother. It was exactly what he wanted and needed a mother to be there for him... he new that Sin could never replace his real mother but he did want her to stay with him... but he new that she wouldnt stay...
Raichu looked over at the two and smiled " my son seems to like you alot..."

she looked at raichu and smiled. "yes, i have noticed. he is so young. i have much pitty for him....and for you." she looked away and down at ryten. "i don't even know if he'll remember me when he's older. I supose he'll remember something, just not be able to pull me out from a crowd of different creatures." it sadend her, the fact that he wouldn't remember.

" Ryten is only 6 years old I know that he will remember you... and so will I.. do you really have to leave us...?" he put his hand on her shoulder and smiled slightly as he put the cruiser on auto pilot and leaned closer to her " cant you?"

"it wouldn't be right. I just wanted to save ryetn, it didn't know i would....get involved." she turned and looked at him and found herself face to face. she blinked. "as a shy creature, it's my instinces to leave. I'm......i'm sorry." she looked down at ryetn. she was supose to kill raichu, not fall in love with him...

Raichu took her hand as he held it firmly " listen to me.. if you leave you wont be able to have a good life... like you said you are the only of your kind left... Ryten and I both care for you... if you go back to shinra... you will only be going into misery... do you really want that?" Raichu moved closer to her he wanted... he wasnt sure what he wanted...

she shook her head. "i.....i don't know. I don't want to take ryetn's happiness away. he needs to be happy." she flipped the hood back and her blonde hair fell over her shoulders. "the sea......it calls me. It's lonely. it's empty. I want to return to it, but there is nothing there for me. everyone...........everyone is dead...."

She looked down, then looked back up and smiled. "i'll stay a long as i can. you and your son are very sweet people and i wouldn't want to give it up that easily." suddenly the car stopped and the engine slowed down and quit. there was complete silence. "is that supose to happen?"
