A lone girl walked down the dirt path. A black cloke hid her body and her face. she had walked from miled away, day and night to find the man. Her gray orbed eyes scanned the horizan. she askjed were this amn might be but everyone gave her a dead end. She was looking for Raichu San. She was given an order to kill him asap. She wasn't a killer but she had to kill him to get backhome from where she was kidnaped. She walked to the gates of a small town and looked up. She sighed and entered, hopeing that this wouldn't be a dead end too.

Raichu sat there silently at the edge of a cliff staring down at the ground. It had just been a few short months since his wifes death. He sighed sadly the pain in his heart was to much and his son only 6 years of age had turned against him and blamed him for what happend. Though he tried his best to keep his sanity to be able to raise his son properly... just like Ayame would have wanted him to. Slowly he stood upwards as he looked down the river below... he wanted life to end it was tearing him apart

She looked around the town and entered the first pub. she walked to the counter and th bar tender looked at her. "yes?"
"I am looking for a man named Raichu San. He has a son named Ryten. Do you know where I could find them?"
The man blinked and thought for a minute. "he left a hout ago. he headed towards the river. maybe you'll find him there"
She nodded and walked out and back down the road. she stired off track and ended up near a river. she looked around a sniffed the air. he was close. she continued to walk down the riverside till she saw a man on a rock high above. "Raichu San?"

Raichu slowly looked down as he saw a young girl down below then looked away and sighed still thinking of Ayame " can you come back later please... im not in a very good mood.." he frowned as he started to walk off his once cheery self was now gone. His whole life and happiness was gone forever and he would never be able to forgive the men who killed his wife

The woman frowned and jumped into the air amd glided to the rock. she landed lightly and walked after raichu. "listn to me, i have word from my master. he wished to speak to you. it regards your son, Ryten." she stopped and waited for him to respond. her voise was light and could easly be told that it was not normal. She made sure that the cloke kept her face hidden, she didn't want to be seen....

Slowly Raichu stopped not turning around to look at her at all " what about Ryten? My son is in school right now..." slowly he started to walk off again he wasnt in the mood for games not at all. " just leave me and my family alone understand..."

She looked away. "at school? I see. If I were you, i wouldn't let him out of sight. thungs are hunting him." she looked back. "i don't know why you would care. You lost him did you not?" she started to leave but stopped before she jumped down. "what would you do if i told you that i knew where the man that killed you wife is? I supose you wouldn't think my journy was a game."
She wasn't a cold person. why was she forced to do ths?

Raichu slowly looked back at her and glared " if anything is after my son then It will have to deal with me!!" he said in an angered tone. " and do not lie to me! I killed both of the men that broke into my house with my own hands! and I will do the same to anything else that tries to do any harm to my son... he is all that I have left even if he doesnt care anymore..." he sighed his life was so cruel right now

She didn't say anything and jumped from the rock and walked back to the town. she walked to the school ground and heard the voices of children laughing. they were all playing outside. she walked to the playground gate and looked around. A child was sitting in the corner. he stood out from the others with the blue color in his hair. she looked across the grounds and saw a few men in black looking at the child. a gun was drawn. She was supose to kill Raichu and they were to kill ryten. she looked back at ryetn and frowned. she couldn't let this happen, he was just a child. she sighed and opened the gates and walked to ryetn and knelt down. she smiled. "whatcha doin?" she blocked ryetn from the range of the gun.

Ryten looked up at the lady not saying anything he hadnt spoken at all for 3 months to anybody at all not even his father. He frowned then looked back down thinking about his mother how she died it hurt to much he felt like crying again. She saved him and now he would never see her again. The other children at the school grounds often made fun of him for the fact that he never spoke he hated it.. he hated everyone around him.

She blinked and took his chin with her hand. she lifted it and smiled at him. he wouldn't be able to tell for her face was hidden. her yellow nails and pale greenish hands touched his face gently. "you must be Ryten. I'm sorry for you loss." she dug through her pocket and took out a small charm. she took his hand and placed it in it. she smiled and closed his hand over it. "I am very sorry. I'll leave you in peace now." she stood up and looked bahind her. the men were still there. she frowned and continued to stand in front of Ryten.

Ryten looked at the charm oddly then the lady how did she know about his mom... he stood up and pulled on her cloake " how do you know about my mommy?" he asked then looked back at the charm it was the first time had actually spoken since he yelled at his faher those many months ago telling him it was his fault...

"I know many things child. don't be afraid." she knelt down and took the child in her arms. she wanted to be a mother but her own race was dead. she hugged him but let him go."i'm sorry." she looked away and looked at the men again. she might have to run for it. then they would chase her...

Ryten frowned then nodded as he sat back down in the dirt and sighed. " I want my mommy.." he said silently it hurt him so much everything did. His dad said it was shinra that did it... they hated his father for the things he did helping people. He frowned when he grew up he new he would be strong enough to protect people like his dad... but why couldnt his dad of been there to protect them...?

the men took up their guns and pointed them at ryetn. She quickly turned around and grabbed ryten and pulled him up and held him close. she started to run out of the playgorund with ryetn in her arms. the men started shooting at her and she covered ryetn with her cloke. a few bullet hit her body and she winced but continued running. the children started screaming and running back into the school. She jumped over the fence and glidded across some rocks. she looked back, the shinra were following her still shooting. she had to protect the boy.
