as they appoched the river, Sin knelt down and took some water in her hand and splashed it on her face. she missed the water. the sound made her sad and she sighed. she stood back up and wipped her wet face. she looked back at raichu and blinked. "how much longer now?" she just wanted to rest. she had been traveling for 5 days till she got here. no sleep, no food or water, just walking.

He frowned as he sat Ryten down on the ground letting him lay there then looked over at her " a few hours.. we could have gotten there faster but the car... there is another way but it will deplete my energy... we can rest now if you want though" he smiled looking down at the water

She smiled and walked up to ryetn. "no, i'm fine. i've walked five days, i can walk a few more hours." she looked up at the night sky and sighed. "it's not safe here. look." she pointed up at the sky and bats flew over head. they weren't normal bats, she knew. "they are spies. they see us. we have to keep moving."

Raichu looked up then shook his head " there just bats nothing to worry about alright get some rest" Raichu took off his coat and walked over to his son who was sleeping there on the ground as he put it over him and smiled then looked back at her " try to get some sleep alright ill stay up and keep watch"

she glared at the bats and sighed. "i guess you're right. i'm so tence at the moment." she walked over to raichu and ryetn and sat down. "no, i'm not sleeping. you're the one that has to sleep. i won't sleep till you do." she looked at him and smiled, pulling her hood over her face again. she gazed at the water and frowned.

Raichu smiled as he walked over to her sitting next to her " fine.. ill go to sleep then but are you sure... I would rather if I stayed up keeping watch.." he then looked at the ground " you look tired yourself so why dont you just lay down atleast alright"

she nodded and laid down. her dull grey eyes looked over the night sky. "go to sleep raichu." she smiled and looked up at him. he was very kind. he took his hand then looked back up. "i'll watch over you."

Raichu sighed as he laid down resting his head on the soft grass he didnt want to rest... not at all he didnt think it would be right. He held her hand gently and smiled then closed his eyes " you dont have to look after me ill be fine" he frowned as he began to think about ayame..

"no, i insist. you saved me when you took out those bullets. i want to stay up, i want you to sleep." her own eyes grew heavy as she looked up at the stars. what would happen next? what would happen when they got to his brother's house? she sighed and thought. there was no way she could leave, he wouldn't let her.

Raichu let go of her hand then turned around looking away " fine.. but you get some rest too then alright..." he sighed as he reached into his shirt for the locket that ayame gave him.. he opened it up slowly as he looked at her picture... it was all that he had left of her now...

she looked at him and sighed. she reached into her pocket and took out the picture that was on raichu's desk. she poked his arm and handed it to him. "i saved it. i thought you'd like to have it back." she turned away and looked down at the grass. a small bug was walking up a stain of grass and she smiled.

Raichu turned around as he took the picture and looked at it " thank you..." he said in a silent tone of voice. he put his locket away as he held the picture close hugging it he wanted to cry and yet... he couldnt bring himself to doing so.

She sighed and closed her eyes. she didn't matter what he said. he missed ayame and nothing would chance it, even if he said. she pulled the cloake closer and curled in a ball. she soon fell asleep without even noticing.

Raichu slowly fell asleep but his dreams wouldnt be good... he sighed sadly he wanted his life back they took it away from him.. he would do anything to get her back just anything.

She sighed in her sleep. she was underwater again, in her home, in her room. she was looking outside at the wild fish. they were so pretty. the aqua water was so peaceful. she wanted to get back.
her eyes opened and she sat up, looking around. raichu and ryten were asleep. she held herself and gazed at the water again.
