"There something dark in my house. Something is wrong with my mother. the love and warmth isn't there anymore." he sighed and looked at Mirray. "I don't want to go back there and i don't wish to be a SeeD. My father won't let me. I am to be knight when he dies. But i don't want that either. I want to stop the darkness now. I want to go to Hollow Bastion and fight Ansem. Rangers and SeeD's are wasteing their time. We need to get to the sorce!"

"noone can find the source. otherwise, we'd have launched a full scale attack by now. besides, that mission is not for you. you are to become knight. if you do not fill that position when your father dies, there would be a contest to the knighthood. you must become knight for the sake of stability." he paused for a moment thinking of what to do about Lumi. "i am very concerned about the situation at your home. we will take you back and figure out what is wrong. but once we do, you are to remain there."

Keoni glared at Dac. "i don't think you heard me. i said i'm not staying. I know what's wrong with my mother but i am not allowed to tell. i promised her that i wouldn't, not even my father knows. and he never will." Mirray looked down at the young boy. he had grown up so. he was so childish before and now he actually seemed like he knew what he was saying. "But keoni, the city will get worried if you run away like this."

keoni frowned. "Well then tie me up. I'm scared of the future of my family. it's dark, i know it is. And if i can stop the darkness before it hits, i can save my family." he frowned and growled.

"then believe me when i say that staying home is the best thing you can do. if your not there, your mother will worry and there is a good chance that the darkness will come faster if she does that. and your father will send out search parties for you. diluting the strength of the defending force. and making it harder for him to fend off attacks. and he will be distracted at the same time. wondering if maybe the heartless attacking him are the ones that killed you. you must stay there to ensure the future of your family and all the families of TriBalamb. trust us to stop the darkness. the rangers are getting close to the source. it won't be much longer."

Keoni sighed. "i guess you're right." he walked next to dac. "i'll return home but the darkness has to stop." Mirray nodded. "we will keoni, for the sake of the Loved ones." keoni looked up at dac. "i'll go. good luck." with that he walked back to tribalamb.

"good. he will be a valueble ally in the future." he stared after Keoni for a bit. "well, shall we go? we need to get you trained so that you'll be ready to fight the source." about another mile down the road, they turned off the path to where the training grounds lay. they came to a large boulder and Dac stopped. he put his hand on the stone and the ground began to rumble. suddenly, the rock split down the middle and opened to reveal a stairway. as they walked down, Dac explained what that rock was. "that is made of the same stone that imprisoned the For Ones with Hearts. it also houses all living weapons until they are claimed. that boulder can see whether you have a living weapon or not and determine whether it can let you in. it is the one and only entrance to the training grounds." as they came to the bottom of the staircase, a grand hall was revealed. a cavern had been utilised to house the training grounds. people were busily walking about on all levels of the super structure. he turned to Mirray after giving the place a silent greeting and opened his arms gesturing to the specticle behind him. "welcome to your temporary home."
ooc: maybe we should skip over the training for the sake of not boring the reader. and you can do a little recap deal to let the reader know what happened with out taking so long.

Mirray looked around. there was no sunlight at all. no windows. she frowned as she saw all the men. she was the only woman there. she was brought to her rooma nd that morning, everything started.
After two months of hard training and work, Mirray was top in the ranger class. she adapted well and killed twice as amny jeartless than the man in second rank. For Ones wit Hearts worked with her well but again, the shadow never went away. everytime she came up to get fresh water, the sky over tribalamb grew darker. she didn't say much about it until she saw images one night. the blade sawed the birth of Lumi's new child. after he was born, the blade refused to be handled by Mirray.

Dac strolled down the walkway towards Mirray's room. suddenly, a distant voice came from behind him. "Dac!! you old dog! how long has it been? 50 years?" it was Lytol. he fought along side Dac in the great war and did a few assignments together 50 years ago. "Lytol! how've you been?!" "worse than you. i heard you already found a partner. is he any good?" "SHE is very good yes. she claimed Duo's old sword. it's been reacting very well to her. she's already learned to transport between worlds. she's at the top of the class." oh, a woman huh? you lucky bastard." he gave him a sly look. "cut it out Lytol." he looked at the ceiling of the cavern as if he could see the sky. "the sky is getting darker and darker. we need to find the source soon." Lytol turned serious. "yea, the people are getting restless. well, i gotta go on guard duty. take care of your 'partner'!" the stress he put on the mast word annoyed Dac to no end. he stepped into Mirray's chambers and called for her. "c'mon. it's your last class. then your done with your training."

Mirray looked up and smiled. "My last class? it's been so long since i traveled." she stood up and streched. she walked down the hallway with Dac. She still didn't know much about him. She learned a lot form the other rangers here. She learned of their families they had to leave behind and whatnot. She'd learn about Dac to once they start working together. She wanted to tell him about what the blade had shown her. the dark shadows and stuff like that but she'd tell him later. As she stayed in her room, she didn't go one night without thinking of Irvine. She really did miss him. She would see him again. she knew it. As for Lumi and Duo, she was afraid to see what might be going on in Tribalamb.

as they walked to class, many people greeted Dac. he was well known as one of the oldest rangers. one of five survivers of the great war. "oh, btw, i've been appointed your eternal partner. so we'll be partners for as long as heartless are here to threaten people. rangers are blessed with eternal life because of our weapons you know. wait, you already knew that didn't you? yeah, they probably taught you that in class."

"yes, it's hard to believe that i'll live forever. So won't duo and keoni. but not Lumi." she frowned as she thought about the whole picture. what would happen when Lumi grows of old age and dies? What would Duo do? she shook it off and walked next to him till they bumped into a man. he looked at her and smiled. "so this must be that 'partner' of yours huh Dac? What's your name?" I glared at him and spoke with high respect towards myself. "I am Miranda. and you?" the man smiled. "the name's Lytol. I'm another survivers from the war." Mirray nodded and shook his hand. "you can call me Mirray."

"this is one of my closest friends. he saved countless times during the war. but i hear he's gotten rusty over the years." he shot Dac a mischevious grin. "like hell i have. get out of here. and stop looking at me like that. i told you to cut it out."

Mirray looked at them both confused. She didn't know what was going on at the moment. she sighed and walked past the man till they got an open room. it was large and quiet. not one else was there. She looked around. it was damp and mysty. she coughed from the dust. this place hadn't been use for awhile. "why are we here Dac?"
