Ok my friend typed me up his day and it was really bad so I thought id share with you guys. OK he posted this in a dif forum but yeah he works at crispy creams too but he didnt type that
So heres the scoop, by the way, this is going to be a long post. Ok so for the last 5 shifts I've worked, the first shift has left us with no chocolate for the processors (the people who put the topping and the filling on the doughnuts). Right when I come on shift today, they are out and need some. So obviously I can't drop everything and do it right away, because I've got other things to do, that use the mixer. For instance glaze, which is far more important. Well I told Tim, our general manager, that for 5 shifts its been like that, he said ok. Then later comes over and tells the other guy I'm working with to make the chocolate. I overhear, and when Tim left I said I'd take care of it. I go get the stuff, then my gloves to get the chocolate base out of the container. As I'm walking to the back from getting my gloves, one of the processors, whom I borrowed a movie from, asked if I'd watched it, I said no. The reason why is because I only have a dvd player in my room and not a vcr. So, I told her, I will watch it tonight and get it back to you tomarrow. Right after that I go back to making the chocolate. Tim comes over, usually a really happy guy mind you, and asks what I'm doing. As if my hand in the chocolate base wasnt enough, I said making chocolate. He goes off about not having chocolate and this is retail, how can we sell chocolate doughnuts without it. I said I'm making it right now, he said didnt look like that a minute ago, talking about vcrs is not why your at work. I said I just answered her question, he said I'm your boss you don't talk back to me. He said, I'm not in a good mood. Then he said better yet, why don't you clock out, and take the weekend off and come and see me on monday and I'll figure out what to do with you. Wonderful eh? So I walk over to my dads work, Home Depot, right next door. Finally found him, told him what happened. He was speachless. I had to talk him out of going over there because I didn't want him to go in there by himself, and if I went, I would have said something I'd regreat. So he gave me bus money, and told me where the stop was. I walked to the stop, waited about 40 minutes, the bus finally came. Was riding along happily (verrry sarcastic there if you didnt notice), when all of a sudden we are at the mall. My dad told me it would take me to Burton, well this was definatly not Burton. So I asked the bus driver, which bus will take me to Burton? He said #28. Waited for a half hour, it finally came. Rode along.... then all of a sudden, what the hell? Fort Vancouver? Now I've really gone out of the way. We finally stop in downtown Vancouver, and I get the "were not in Kansas anymore" feeling. Ask the bus driver, how do I get to Burton, he said non-chalauntly, take the Burton bus, I felt like an idiot. Went over to that bus stop, and waited. These loser teenagers walked by. Were talking about crack and such. One of the guys said, I'll play chinese checkers for 6 hours by myself, but I wont fuck a girl with hepatitis, I'm not that dumb. Words to live by eh? Feeling totally out of place at this point, a short black prostitute walks over, gangly teeth, fishnet shirt that covers NOTHING, and hardly understand a word shes saying, walks over and sits next to me. The bus was 30 or more minutes late at this point. All of a sudden she starts rubbing her leg against mine! Gah! That was horendous, I had no where to go, while some "female" if you want to call it that, with hundreds of known/unknown STDs rubbed up against me. It was something out of a nightmare. Everytime she saw a bus, and it wasnt the one we were waiting for, she said oh shit damnit! The bus arrived, 45 minutes late, I have never been so thankful fo public transportation in my life. Got home 5:15, left at 1:45 mind you. That is all. ::slams head on desk repeatedly::
