The Chasers: New World Locket

[Reno]

Sora blinked then laughed, grinning at Riku innocently. Well... Roxas was his nobody... he had to have some amount of strong will right?

Roxas smiled softly. "No but it's anagramed from it." He blinked as he was pulled up and nodded at Riku's question. "Though since your offering..."

"pssst pick the most expensive." Sora joked, nudging the other.


Lucina giggled. "Your happy finally!" She may of been just a child, but she was pretty intuitive. She didn't understand exactly what had been going on, but she did recognize the gloom that huing over Ven the majority of the time.


Aqua lifted her hand, placing it over Fuujin's. she looked up, and smiled at the other softly then sighed, looking back at the ground. "I'm... not sure. something about his attitude... reminded me of something I guess. Oh and he called me and Olette crazy that kinda pissed me off."

Seifer held his hand out, helping his wife to her feet. He nodded enthusiastically to her comment. "Yeah lets go get 'em! I'll kick both their asses!"

Aqua blinked, glancing back then sighed. As much as she wanted to, Ven would kill them if he found out they were screwing around rather then doing their mission. "No, we have a job to do. Did you guys find out anything about the keyblades?" It didn't take a genius to figure out that Olette and Aqua hadn't.

"Yeah." Seifer grumbled compliantly, though unhappily. "Ones back at a weapon shop we visited being sold for some sort of weird currency, another is held by some character named Rufus."


Rude hurried into the elevator, his large frame slower than the red-head's yet he still made it to the elevator before it closed. He sighed, resting against the walls as it slowly began to rise. He blinked however As Reno started to pound at the button. "you'll break it." he mumbled quietly, but it seemed to redhead didn;t ehar him. instead he hit the button for the enxt floor they were coming to and the doors opened and the red-head ran out and for the stairs.

The bald man blinked, considering follow him, then shrugged. Maybe Reno could run up all those stairs but he wasn;t going to not if he had an elevator.


The man in the wheelchair was staring up at the strange blade that he had found. He had had Tseng mount it on the wall. It was so.. pecular though. He ac tually wasn't sure if it WAS a blade.

It had been found by a summon materia of Neo-Bahamut's. And it reminded him a lot of the dragon. The blade had a typical hilt, expect for the large guards that wrapped around it in the shapes of tails. A keychain hunt from the hilt, in the shape of a dragon's head. The blade shot up but it was thin and almost spear like. At the end, three wings jutted out. It was red and yellow in color.

His head shot up at the suddenly slam of his door and he glanced over his shoulder calmly. He looked at the red-head looking him up and down. "Ah... so Tseng was telling no lie. You are back Reno." he smirked. "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. You don't even let a trivial thing like death beat you."

Riku pouted at Sora at the comment but shook his head, looking down at the blonde. "Yea... pick wherever you want. Whatever makes you happy. We'll find Axel though, I know it."

Xio yipped a bit and nuzzled Roxas. He wanted to make sure he was really ok.


Ven leaned over and smiled. "You know what would make me even more happy?" He paused and then grinned. "If you gave us your bed."
"NO!"


Olette blinked then sighed. Aqua was right... they couldn't go and make a fight. They had a job to do. She looked at Seifer as he talked... Different currency? Since when did the worlds have different currency? "So... they don't take munny at all??"

Fuu shook her head. "Not at all.... and he said there was nothing else he wanted either... so... we'll have to somehow find.... 52,000 'gil' or we'll have to find another way to git it." She opened a rather large map to Aqua and pointed. "This is where we are... and" She moved her finger to the large red spot. "This is where the man named Rufus can be found."

Olette looked over the map, seeing how huge it was. She looked at the big red dot and tilted her head. "Well, if the large dot is PRINTED on the map... Rufus must be the world leader!"
Fuu looked over at the brunette and nodded. "Perhaps..."
She looked around to see where there were headed... and ironically... it was the same directions those creeps ran off to.



It was silent... and empty, the room was. Green eyes moved slowly, looking around the room before he closed the door. Slowly he walked over to the man in the wheelchair and looked up at the odd thing his boss was. The keyblade reflected in his goggles as his eyes became dark. So... it was true.... he really.... did disappear... but where had he gone?

"Hmm...." He shook his head and looked down at the blonde slightly. "I see these twenty years haven't been good for you... huh boss?" He would of never guessed that Rufus would end up in a wheelchair... What had happened...? A feeling of guilt ran through his body as he looked down. Maybe... if he was here.... he could of done something to prevent what happened to Rufus... It was his job to protect the man... and he was very loyal to that goal.

He sighed and shook his head, his voice becoming soft and his eyes darkened. "I'm sorry.... that I haven't been here to protect you...." He would of usually put a 'yo' at the end of that sentence... but not now. "But... now I will.... and I think you're in danger. Rude and I ran into some people on the way here... women actually... and one of them easily used water majick... and it wasn't from a materia. It was a majick of her own... they said they were looking for a... 'keyblade' of some sort." He looked up at the odd weapon. "And... their defiantly not from this world."

Sora grinned innocently at Riku.

"Thanks... Okay then I'll lead the way." Even if his brother-in-law and him didn't always get along - well come on he thought Riku tried to kill him all those years ago! - they had gotten closer in their own ways. It really helped having them both here. He didn;t know what he would do if no one came for him...

Roxas smiled faintly then looked down at Xio in surprise. He knelt down petting the fire lion. "Hey Xio. I guess I sorta destroyed home huh?" He mumbled, looking around nervously. It only takes seconds to make a mess - it takes hours to clean it. "crap, I don't wanna clean this up later."

"Don't worry when we get back, maid Sora will be at your service!" The brunette said, used to cleaning up messes. First graders, remember? He did a two-fingered salute, grinning.


Lucina stuck out her tongue, and slapped Ven lightly on the side of his face. "Bad Ven!"

Terra started to laugh. "they got you beat."


It occured to Seifer that they could just... ASK to see it... and then ASK to touch it... and poof it would be gone. Should of thought of that one before. Or they could just steal it. Etiher way...

Aqua nodded then at her lover's words. "Alright then, let's get moving!" They had knowledge of the whereabotus of two keyblades already - and even though Ven had said there was no need to bring any back yet, it just felt weird without doing so.

Aqua started to walk, Fuujin coming up to her side moments later with the map. Olette and Seifer trailed only a little behind. The blue-haired woman looked around at the empty streets - realizing her display had probably scared a lot of people off. Or was it possible those two... 'turks' had? This world probably had to be the most different she had ever walked on since Wonderland. Nothing here was what she expected.

And still... the memory of that red-head tugged at her mind. He was important somehow... she just couldn't pinpoint how.

Seifer noted slowly that the closer they got to their destination, the cleaner and cleaner the streets and the air seemed to become. He frowned somewhat. What the hell...? Was it just the outskirts of this world that were left to rot? Even the lower class desereved better conditions then that... Was someone really so vain?

They all stopped when they seemed to reach the center of town - where the big dot was, and all of them looked UP at a HUGE building. "Daaaaaaamn." Seifer whistled.

"Well... that;'s overstating the point." Aqua muttered, trying to gauge just how many floors it must have had. But it looked more like a business then a presidenet's building. It even said ShinRa Electric Power Company on it. But... why would anyone ever need such a big building for electrcitiy? Her eyes narrowed, thinking about that. Something just didn;t match up about this place...


"Things happen that we don't expect too." the voice murmured softly. "Then again not everything is how it appears." Rufus said mysteriously. He glanced to his side, looking at Reno curiously. His employee had aged quite a bit as well. It was a little more startling looking at him now when the Reno he remembered had been a teenager. He had aged a lot - but seemed to have not gotten any better with dressing himself in the morning. Some things never changed.

He was quiet as Reno spoke, lsitening to him intently. When he got to the news of being in danger however, he tilted his head curiously. Well that was nothing new. But something did bother him. "And where is Rude anyways?"

Just as he said so there came a loud thumping of steps and a clearing of a throat behind him. "Boss." The bald man tapped over the floor next to Reno.

"Heh." Rufus smirked. It seemed Reno still loved running upstairs too. "So they said they were looking for a 'keyblade'?" He looked up at the odd weapon of origins of which no one had known. Magic without materia as well... that took powers of a alien kind. They either weren't from around here... or possible former experiments of that bastard Hojo's. no doubt their were some still lying around.

Riku nodded and they soon were out the door once Roxas had changed. They walked down the road a bit, seeing some people coming from their homes to start a new day of work. Some of them said good morning to the three as they walked by.

They soon arrived to a small little eatery and walked in. Everyone inside seemed to know Roxas... and it kinda felt like home with everyone knowing Sora on the mainland and everyone knowing Riku on the Kilika district markets.

They took a seat in the back and Riku pulled up a menu. He blinked as he looked at the food, not really sure what any of this things were...


Ven blinked as he was hit on the side of the face. He pouted and covered his face, pretending to cry. "NA! Luci is so mean! She made me sad again!" He shook his head and continued to fake cry.

Gunnar frowned and slowly pulled away from his sister as he got off the chair. "I'm gonna go potty." He walked around the chair and started to head off to the closest one before Ven turned around. "You need help?"
The boy looked back. "No!" He snapped back and mad Ven's eyes widen. "I'm big enough to go potty by myself!"

The little boy stomped away and walked into the bathroom. Ven frowned slightly and looked down at Terra. Maybe it was a normal stage kids went through?

As Gunnar closed the door, he walked to the corner and pulled a watch from his back pocket. He didn't have to go potty at all. The watch was his mothers and it wasn't an ordinary watch... it was a teleporter that helped them get back to Twilight Town when they had small vacations.

He flipped it open and it started to search for close worlds. One was called 'Midgar'. That sounded right. He frowned and pressed the button... and he suddenly computerized and vanished.


Gunnar appeared in an empty building that had been abandoned quite awhile ago. His light brown eyes looked around, a bit panicked. He was hoping... he would appear by his mother's side. He coughed as the thick smog wrapped around him.


Fuu noticed the air becoming clearer as well as they walked towards the building. The apartments and buildings were nicer looking here too. She looked up at the huge building, her eyes narrowing too. She read the large diamond red sign on the building. An electric company. She frowned. Seemed like there was a monopoly going on in this world... This wasn't going to be an easy job...

They walked into the building and Olette quickly went to the receptionist. She was the Chaser's communicator... Her bright green eyes brightened as she looked at the woman. "Excuse me... but we'd like to talk to....." She looked at the board behind the woman, reading the names. At the very top was the one she was looking for. "Rufus Shinra..." Oh... it seemed this Rufus guy OWNED this place... and it was HIS company.

The woman shook her head and chuckled a bit. "Do you have an appointment?" Olette hated that question. She frowned and shook her head. "No... but we're interested in seeing him. You see, me and my group over there have come up with a new type of energy! It's pretty powerful and it can really help with cleaning this place up!"

The woman stopped and looked up at the cheery girl. "You'll still need to make an appointment." The brunette nodded. "Alright! When is the soonest he can see us?"
The woman looked on the computer and then back on her. "He's very busy... it won't be able to happen until a few months."
"WHAT!?"



Reno nodded, looking back as his partner tried to fix his tie and look as sharp as possible so when Rufus turned around, he would be as clean as a pin. He then looked down at his boss who was looking up at him. "That's right. They said a 'keyblade'. I wonder what that is..." He looked back up at the odd weapon again. He wondered... if this all had to do with him coming back.

"Oh... that reminds me boss." He turned to the blonde and looked down. "Would you.... ah.... have any idea on how I.... might be standing here?"

[Reno]

Lucina pouted as Ven started to fake cry. "I'm sorry!" She said, sympatheizing instantly. Ah little girls, so easy to fool.

Terra snorted at the display, finding it utterly hilarious. Ven really got along well with kids...

He blinked at Gunnar's snap. Or well... he usually did. He glanced and Ven when he looked at him, concerned. He smiled a bit, shrugging, not too concerned. "It's a boy thing to not want help." That was pretty much ingrained into a child's mind when they were young.

Lucina pouted a bit, but cuddled in her chair, waiting for her brother to return.

And waited.

And waited.

And WAITED.

Soon, ten minutes had passed.

"Uh maybe we should check on him." Terra said, concerned now.

Lucina, taking the rool of the big sister immediately, jumped down at those words, hurrying to the bathroom door. She knocked. "Gunnar? Did you make a messy?" She got no answer.


The others blinked as well. Aqua sighed tilted her head, looking the receptionist up and down. Well she didn't APPEAR to be gay so... she nugded Seifer lightly, smirking and making a motion. Sometimes a little flirtation was needed to get what they wanted...

That or utter cuteness. Ven could pull utter cuteness off - even if Terra snarked at him about it for weeks later.

Seifer blinked then slowly understood. Oh, great. He walked forward, putting on his most charming smile. "Now now, I'm sure a good looking like yourself could definitely just... type a few little words and give us an appointment a little sooner then that say... in ten minutes?"


Rufus blinked at the question. He looked towards the window, humming in thought then started to speak. "Those black creatures that attacked you all those years ago... according to Hojo they stole the lifestream from people, and by doing so, created another one of themseleves." Lifestream was of course what their bodies were made off - the lifeblood of the planet. A body was created with lifestream, eventually dies, the lifestream explodes and goes back into the planet to be recycled once more. "How you've actually returned now that baffles me. And if Hojo were still alive, he probably wouldn't have an answer for it either."

Ven frowned as he stood from Terra's lap again and walked over to where Luci was. He listened to see if Gunnar would reply... when he didn't... he knew there was something wrong. He opened the door, knowing the little boy was too small to remember to lock it. He looked in, ready for a kid mess but... saw nothing. Even the lid was closed on his small toilet.

He frowned, walking in and looked around. He SAW Gunnar come in... and didn't take note of him coming out either. He had a bad feeling about this.


Gunnar walked around the abandoned building, looking around at all the broken test tubes and tables. He left the room and walked onto a high balcony. He blinked, looking over the edge and gasped as he saw a large cylinder... full of glowing green liquid. "Cooooool...."


Olette blinked as she watched her husband flirt with the woman. She knew he didn't mean it... but it still made her cheeks rosy with jealousy. She crossed her arms and just watched him.

The woman watched Seifer too and shook her head, chuckling again. "I'm sorry... but that kind of stuff doesn't work here at ShinRa Electric Power Company. I value my job, sir... Mr. Shinra is in no way a casual man. If you want an appointment, you'll have to go by the books. You should know this by now. Mr. Shinra is under very close protection."

Fuu crossed her arms and frowned. Yea... this was gonna be more harder than it looked.


Reno's eyes narrowed. Stole the lifestream...? Was that even possible? His eyes widened as he looked back down at Rufus... Hojo...? He was... gone too? Damn... what else had changed since he was gone!? "Yo.... so..... what's going on now?"

[Reno]

Terra got to his feet as well, walking over. He glanced inside, blinking. there was... no one there?

Lucina frowned, hurring inside. "gunnar?!" Was he plauing hide and go seek? She opened the little cabinets under the sink but didn;t see her brother inside. "Where are you?! olly olly oxenfree!"


Sharo green eyes watched the wandering child. He had apepared out of nowhere - but that wasn;t too strange to him. The boy trooped out onto the balcony, hanging out and looking down, on the verge of falling. He smirked. "I would be careful if i were you."


Seifer sighed. All his effort, wasted for nothing. "Damn."

Aqua chuckled. Okay time for plan B. "Alright, we understand. Come on guys." She lead the others outside.

Seifer glanced at Olette, seeing and feeling the jealusly coursing through her, and pouted. "Ah hon you know I didn't mean it." He hugged her to him, kissing her cheek.

Aqua hummed looking around quietly. "There's got to be a back door..."


"reforming." Rufus said. "The world has been rotting since my father's work and it probably won;t live another decade if it isn't cleaned up." His blue eyes narrowed. "and there also seemed to be a conspiracy growing in the slums." He shrugged. "And now these insane people look for keyblades."

Ven growled, seeing that Luci found no brother in the cabinet. This wasn't good... where was he? He never ran off like this... He quickly ran to the computer and started typing fast. It was a heat detector... for if someone was lost or if they had an intruder, they could find out where they were instantly. The kids used it to cheat on hide and seek games if they handed over 10 munny first.

The screen popped up with three red dots. "Three...?" There should of been four! "Terra! Gunnar's missing from the ship!"


Gunnar blinked and quickly turned around. He gasped as he saw wild glowing eyes looking at him from a man with silver hair. He blinked a few times... it wasn't auntie Fuu and it wasn't uncle Riku...



Olette still huffed but she smiled at the kiss. They started to walk around the back side of the building and looked around the corner. There were two body guards in front of a back door. Go figure.

Since they were both men, Fuu pushed them aside. Too bad they didn't have Fran in their group... it would of been much easier for men to be persuaded... So that was her job. "I'll be back..." She slowly pulled down the zipper of her leather suit, just so much of her cleavage was shown.

She walked away from the group, going towards the street coming from the alley. As she walked by the guards, she pushed her gloved hand through her long, silver hair, making it fly up teasingly at the men. It glistened in the dull sun as she started to walk away, walking in the manner so her hips moved deliciously.

That worked.
The men couldn't help but watch her and as she slowly walked away, they moved from their post to watch her turn the corner.



First Rufus wanted everyone's money and power... and now he wanted to clean up!? What next!?
There was a sudden interruption as a speaker went off at Rufus' desk. "Mr. Shinra, I'm sorry to interrupt anything boss but there were just four suspicious people in looking to talk to you."

Reno growled as he turned to the speaker. His hand on his EMR tightened. "Damnit! It must be them! You gotta be shittin me yo!"

[Reno]

Terra bit his lip as Ven left his side while Lucina continued to look in the bathroom, lifting the toilet seat. Moments later he heard Ven's call. "Shit!"

"Where's my brother!" Lucina cried, not even minded the swear. She grabbed onto Terra's pant leg, tugging hard.

The brunette keyblade leant down picking her up. "Don't worry we'll find him." He hurried over to Ven's side. "He can't of gone far." If he wasn't on the ship though... he could be ANYWHERE in Connection 4. What if someone had kidnapped the boy-

But why...? And who...?

"Shit where could he be..."

Lucina sniffled suddenly, tears in her eyes. "Maybe... he got onto the world?"

Terra looked down at her suspiciously. "And how would he do that Luci?"

Lucina shifted uncomfortably, crying more. "Mommy'll be angry!"

"Lucina, if you know something you have to tell us."

The little girl had tears in her eyes. "I saw him sneak into mommy's magic box after breakfast... and take out one of her teley watches."

Terra frowned slowly, then looked up at Ven. "Can you search for him down on that world?" he asked. Gunnar and Lucina both knew how to use the watches. The Chasers had taught both of them when they were still pretty young - just in case an emergency ever happened the kids needed to get away for whatever reason and no one was there to assist them with a portal...

The search would probably find the other chasers as well, and from there they could give instructions to whoever was closest to go and get the kid and bring him back for one hell of a punishing.


The man walked forward, decked out in a full black body-suit. His silver hair brushed his shoulders, framing his furious glowing eyes. At his side was a rather terrifying looking sword. "Now my boy, however did you get here?"


Aqua's eyes widened as her lover unzipped her shirt. She stared, watching after her as well. Fuck that was hot... Unlike Olette she felt no jealousy - but that was probably because her lvoer was flirting with a sex she had no interest in.

Seifer blinked, then glanced at Aqua who was practically drooling. He rolled his eyes, then he and his wife moved forward. He knocked the hilt of his sword on the back of one of the man's heads, while Olette smacked the others with her rod. the blonde caught them before they fell, laying the unconcious men on the ground. Seifer glanced back. "It wasn't supposed to distract you!" He hissed to their so-called leader?

"Huh...?" Aqua said dreamily, as if not even hearing him.


Rufus waved a hand to calm Reno, then reached out, pressing the button. "do you know where they went?"

Rude's hands silently curled, and he glanced at Reno. No matter what they had to protect Rufus. they might want to call Tseng and Elena though.

Ven frowned as he heard Luci. Damn... Gunnar was gonna get it! He nodded and started to type quickly at the keyboard, somethings popping up here and there. He growled, wishing his fingers could type faster. Olette would kill him if they lost her boy... and so wouldn't Seifer.

A diagram popped up of the world, an overview picture of the world from their own airship. He put in Olette's tracker and a beeping started to run out the speakers. "He's there..." He said more to himself. He typed down more and the lens on the bottom of the ship started to move, trying to get a picture of the teleporter's location. They would be able to see Gunnar on the screen soon enough.


Gunnar's light brown eyes widened as he started to move back, seeing the man move towards him. He started to shake when he saw the sword. Tears started to fill his eyes. Olette and Seifer had warn their children about not talking to strangers... but what about strangers with swords!?

He shivered as the man asked him the question and started to cry. "Mommy! Daddy!" He called out before something terrible happened. He stepped too far back. The edge of his little shoe clipped the edge of the balcony, and he fell backwards. "AAHHH!!" He cried as he quickly fell off. The teleporter fell from his hands and dropped into the green liquid... right before he did.


Ven blinked as the beeping stopped and a warning came up.
Device Undetected
"WHAT!?" It was just found a second ago! He growled and put in the search all over again... but this time... there was an error, saying that the tracker no longer existed. "Oh shit...."



Fuu looked back when she heard the slight noise, seeing Olette and Seifer drag the limp bodies away. She saw Aqua and blushed, quickly zipping her suit back up. She rushed back and patted her lover on the shoulder. "Maybe tonight..." She whispered and winked as she saw Olette and Seifer head into the building.

She headed inside too and quickly caught up with them as they raced up the back stair well. If they were going to take the stairs all the way to the top... they were going to be pretty winded when they reached it no matter how much in shape they were.

Suddenly Olette stopped though and Fuu bumped into her slightly. "Olette...? What's wrong?"
The brunette looked down, her eyes full of worry as she held onto her heart. "There's something wrong..."
Fuu frowned as she tilted her head. "What do you mean?"
"There.... there is something wrong with my kids!"

Mother's instinct...



There was a pause, noting that she was now looking at the security cameras in and around the building. What the woman saw was in the back alley, the body guards were knocked out.
"Sir! There's a problem! They broke through the back way!"
A sudden red glow wrapped around the building as the warning lights flashed on as a siren started, alerting all the guards to get on their toes.

Reno growled. "SHIT!" He suddenly left Rufus's side and swung the door open, looking down the hallway. Let's see them make it pass him again!

[Reno]

Terra set Lucina down in the pilot;s seat, coming up besides Ven. He sighed in relief when the teleporter was found, his keyblade instinctively appearing. Hwe was already ready to go grab him and drag him home-


The boy fell with a cry, but only fell so far. His ankle was grabbed roughly, fingertips brushing the mako - only so much but it would still burn like touching a pot on a stove - before he was yanked up and thrown out the ground none too kindly. "Told you to watch your step." Kadaj laughed.


-only to have it disappear. "Fuck!" did he teleport again?! Moments later the search was conducted again, but the device came up missing. "shit..." Either Gunnar broke it... or somethign went horribly horribly wrong.


Aqua grinned at the promise. "Oooh, I like that." She giggled, following after the other two Chasers, smiling happily. All four of them started to run up the stairswells. The blue-haired girl looked up, blinking blankly. Holy shit there was a lot of them. they just keep spiraling up and up and up....

Seifer was in front but when he heard all the footseps suddenly just stop behind him he stopped himself. Something shot through him through Olette. It made his stomach twist and he turned around, looking at her troubled face. "Olette?"

Aqua stepped up next to the brunette as well frowning. And then she mentioned her kids. She saw Seifer visibly tense.

Seifer reached up for his communicator. "Terra, Ven, what's going on?!"


Just moments after the signal got lost, Seifer's voice came angrily over the communicator. He reached out, hitting a button to communicate back. He couldn;t lie. "Gunnar went missing."

"WHAT?!" The enraged voice came back. "Terra you fucking son of a bitch if you don't find my son RIGHT NOW-"

Terra winced as he was chewed out and snapped back. "Damn it we're trying. He took Olette's teleporters and he's down on that world with you guys!"

"DOWN HERE?! how could you let that happen I-"

He pulled away from the button even as Seifer continued to rant, but seconds later a siren wailed in the background and Terra winced. Where they hell were those four?

"Ven We have to go to where the last singal was found he's probably still there!" Terra commanded. There was no time for panic of pauses!


Aqua looked around as a warning bell was sounding. "Shit. We need to get out of here!"


Rude more calmly stepped up next to Reno, his fists at his sides as he looked up and down the abandonned hallway. No one was in sight yet...

Ven winced as he heard Seifer. How did he know!? He watched Terra... glad that he wasn't the one who had to break the bad news. He frowned though as he heard the alarms go in the back. Shit! Didn't he tell them just to find where the keyblades were!? And don't bother to pick them up!? This was turning into a nightmare!

He looked up at Terra with serious eyes and nodded.... but stopped, looking down at crying girl. "What are we suppose to do with Luci..? We can't just leave her here!"


Gunnar let out a horrible scream as he felt his leg burning. He was suddenly pulled up and thrown back into the building harshly. Gunnar had never felt any sort of abuse before... his parents treated him like a little prince. He started to cry loudly as he held onto his leg. It burned badly and moved up his body like a green virus. Tears ran down his face as he heard the man come closer.



Olette's eyes widened as she heard her husband become upset... and clearly heard why. They lost their son!? She was about to chew them out too when they heard the siren go off.

Fuu growled and quickly rushed back downstairs... but before she could reach the door, metal bars slammed down in front of it. The building was going under total lock down. "SHIT!" She cried as she wrapped her hands around it, trying to see if it would budge... but unfortunately... they were electric bars. She was zapped and flung into the stairwell hard.

Wincing, she slowly stood up. Guess there was only why out of here... the hard away...

Terra cursed violently, glancing at the girl, they didnlt have a choice. "We'll take her with us! come on!" Ven only nodded, scooping up the girl at Terra turned and slashed a portal and they both juoed through... leaving their ship unattended.


Terra was the first to jump out and into an old abandonned warehouse. something was wrong about this place - besides the fact the air was smogy and the land poisoned. It was... something nearby that was sending an insane amount of animalistic instinct through him.

But the screaming drew his attention quickly and his head shot around, seeing Gunnar... and some strange silverette he never saw before rounding on him. Terra growled in fury, shooting forward and slashed but the strange... male it was a male... jumped away, landed delicately on a broken table. His eyes glew strangely and the look in his eyes almost crazed.

"the fuck did you do?!" Terra demanded, looking enraged.


Everything happened so fast Aqua barely had time to process it. But when Fuujin ran back down and the door snapped shut like a death knell she knew they were in trouble. And then... Fuujin grabbed the bars.

She gave a cry of pain, slipping down to her knees shaking as she felt the shock run through her lover and then the pain of hitting the stairwell. She blinked shaking somewhat. "Fuu?!" She carefully got to her feet, hurrying to her side, wrapping an arm around her.

"Shit now what?!" Seifer cried.

"We need to fight our way out!" Aqua said. "go up! and exit the first door we come too!"

Ven frowned as he grabbed Luci and held her tightly in one hand. He looked around the ship before following Terra into the portal. When they appeared, he coughed a bit, inhaling the horrid fumes. He spun around as Terra did, hearing the screaming. He saw a flash of silver but that wasn't what concerned him.
"GUNNAR!"

He quickly raced to the boy's side, Aero Maxim appearing in his hand. Damnit! This wasn't the time... he needed both hands! He crouched down next to the boy, pulling him close and protective. He frowned as he saw some green waves through the boy's leg. What had this man done...? "Gunnar.... Gunnar, shh..." He rocked the two a bit, hearing Gunnar slowly calming down.


Fuu shook her head and smiled slightly as her lover came down. "I'm alright... come on..." She slowly started to head up stairs with the other, her strength coming back quickly as she caught up.
They bust through the first floor door and Olette looked both ways with her husband, looking for an exit sign. She quickly followed the blonde as he lead them and turned the corner.

That was when more bad news came to them. All four stopped dead when they saw large doors down the hall.... also bared with the electric metal.
But that wasn't the main problem. It was WHO was in front of the doors.

The redhead grinned as he slapped his EMR on his shoulder again. He raised his head as a snicker ran over his face. "Yo partner. Looks like they don't have to use gil to get a dildo now." He pulled his EMR down and slapped it against his palm, the taser at the end sparking. "We can fuck them up right now."

Lucina shook with terror, moving out of Ven's arms so he could hold her brother. Tears ran down her face as she looked at him.

Terra growled, hearing Ven behind him. He glared at the man before him.

"He fell into the mako." The man said with a smirk. "In fact you should be thanking me, i dragged him out."

Terra scowled, not believeing any of the man;s words. he hurried forward, slicing at the other, but hit only the table, breaking it completely. the man flipped backwards effortlessly, landing in the fram of a broken window. "Ta ta for now!" And then he was gone.

The brunette scoffed angrily, running back over to the other's kneeling down. He looked over gunnar and at the wierd... coloring from the wave... that sent a weird thrill through him. he grit his teeth against it. "come on lets get him to a... a hospital or... or something!" someone had to know what the hell happened to him right?


Seifer grit his teeth, nodding to Aqua's instruction. He chased his way upstairs the others at his heels. when he saw the coast was clear he chose the path towarss the exit.

But they were quickly cut off. Not just by gates... but by two Turks as well. The bald man only nodded silently next to Reno, his knuckles cracking.

Aqua growled, stepping forward, Tsuami in her hands instantly. "If you know whats good for you dumb and dumber, you'll back the fuck off."
