Tying Knots

How? How was this happening? He heard Terra and Axel roaring in fury, Aqua crying, Roxas and Ven calling his name - he could hear Riku screaming...

He gasped feeling pain shoot up a down his spine - then suddenly the loudest most horrible screech met his ears, worse than any cat's claws down a chalkboard, more horrible then a banshee's yell. It took him a moment to realize it was his own voice that made such a horrible noise.

He collasped to the ground, blood everywhere, breath labored, vision hazy. How was this happening? How? how?

Sora didn't get up again.




Three Monnthes Earlier


"Gosh I can't believe this is really happening!" Sora said, running a comb through his hair nervously for what must of been the fifteen-hundredth time.

"Keep doing that and you'll be bald." Roxas teased.

"S-Shut up! It's not every day a guy gets married ya know!" Sroa snapped.

"It only took you guys two years to finally come back to this point."

"shut up there were... external circumstances!" Sora grumbled.

And there had been. Riku and Sora had felt so guilty that the plans for marriage had all been wiped from their minds. It was the dman wedding that caused it all - or at least the date was at the wrong time at the wrong place.

Besides they had to fix the mess they created. Mainly Sora stayed near Destiny helping to rebuild and meticulously teaching the children - even if it was all outdoor classes. There had been so much to do it took MONTHES to regain the palce to normal lviing conditions and even now nearly two years later it wasn't even half as beautiful as it once was.

Though a small little paopu tree was growing on Riku's island. One he and Riku had planted themseleves. One day it would be the birthing point of many legends.

Sora sometimes still felt the uncomfortable knot of guilt worm its way into his stomach and clench hard whenever he looked at the run down remainds of his and Riku's house. They had had to rebuild too of course but thanks to the tsunami there old lviing place was too dangerous to build upon again. the rock walls that had been carved to accomadate the home had beene roded violently - and any extra weight would cause it to crumble.

Though Sora kept trying to tell riku they could find a new spot on the island Riku vehemontly refused saying it's what they probably desereved (okay well no he said he had desereved it, convinced nothign was at fault in Sora's part but that was another fight altogether) and without another choice they mvoed to the mainland.

It was... actually more welcoming then he had imagined. Having Riku's mom visit constantly - dropping by his parent's house for some chitchat, meeting Kairi and Todus down on the ebach almost every day... it was getting him and Riku back into the main stream of things - back into normal life. Face it, they couldn;t remain secluded forever.

The past year had been one hell of a trail - for more then one reason. Nightmares was a big one - if Riku wasn;t having them he was. Riku had him about falling into darkness so far he destroyed the universe. Sora... well his nightmares revolved around the exact opposite of what the hellish weeks' were. He dreamt about losing Riku - again and again and again. They weren;t ever the same way - some had more blood, sometimes he was the one to kill him. Two monthes in they had been almost a daily occurence and either Sora would wake with a jerk, gasping for air, or hels be screaming in his sleep for riku until the alive one woke him up.

When Riku had nightmares Sora was awake almost like it was a second instinct. Most times Riku never awoke fully, Sora would just cuddle with him, murring soft words of encouragement before they drifted away to peacefulness.

Riku was easy to take care of when he was asleep. When he was AWAKE... well...

"Riku, stop looking at em." Sora mumbled, standing in the bathroom, watching his lover glare at his tattoos. This had to be the third time in the past week he caught him like this.
"I desereve to be branded - after what happened I desereve everything i got... and i don't desereve you." Riku mumbled back to him. "It's my fault what happened to you I-"
"Oh wait a god damn second!" Sora suddenly yelled - his patience gone after monthes of endless understanding. "You're fault?! Please Riku don't be so fucking proud." The brunette looked away with a growl. "I have darkness in my heart too Riku - no matter who i am! Sure your soul... it might have helped tip me over the edge but it's NOT YOUR FAULT! I follow you willingly... And i helped you do some bad things..." He walked up to the other, embracing him suddenly. "We knew the risks Riku and we took them and we messed up but we're fixing it! Forgive yourself Riku - it's not your fault all odds were against you... we'll make it better." He kissed each and every tattoo lovingly. "We'll always be here for each other."

Oh... but Riku wasn't the only issue.

"Who is this Sora?" His mother asked.
"Mom... now don;t freak out too much." Sora said calmly, before pointed at the blonde next to him. "You remember Ventus?"
There was a long, long pause, before his mother wide eyes turned to stare at Ventus. The peices all fit together - they looked so alike even now. Her baby boys - her twins. "B-B-But... Ven.... Venny?"
"Hi uh... mom." Ventus said, looking very much like he wanted to run.
"My... my baby boy... you're..." His mother was crying and suddenly hugging the blonde.
Sora chuckled, smiling faintly. "Mom, the surprises don;t exactly end there - um... you might wanna meet Roxas too."
"Oh, it's my turn to walk in?" the second blonde glanced in from the doorway.
His mother fainted.

That one had been... real fun to explain. Sora had done his best - it was a LONG story. And getting not only his mother but his father to believe it too well... That was another story all together as well. But now they were 'unoffical triplets' as he dubbed 'em.

Sora breathed, shaking all over as he set down the brush. Why was he so goddamned nervous?! "confidence, confidence!"

Roxas snickered. "I can't believe you're gonna walk down the aisle. Riku's the one with the fucking girly hair."

Sora just shrugged. "It's not that improtant." No, he just didn't want to fight about it again - that had ended badly last time.

"By the way, isn't the bride only suppsoed tow ear white when she IS a virgin?!"

"Shut up!" Sora snapped. It had been Riku's plan - Sora would wear a white tux, and Riku would wear black. Yin and Yang. "and don't call me a bride!"

Roxas smirked. "Oh i'm sorry..." Roxas whistled innocently, before lightly jabbing, "should I powder your nose bridey?"

Sora's eye twitched. "you're enjoying this."

"Every. Minute."

"RAWR!" Sora suddenly battle cried, locking his twin in a headlock, giving him a noogie to end all noogies.

"AH NO MY HAIR!" Roxas cried, his hands flying up to grab onto Sora's spikes.

"NO STOP!" Sora cried. "I'm the bride here!! My hair has to be perfect!!"

"You're a fucking porcupine!!"

"Well you look like the fucking fourth grader all the fifth graders picked on swirly head!!"

"You take that back!!"

And the third person in the Bride's dressing room, quietly watching the two's display - was Ventus Holani. Ventus who was 'dating' Terra (even if they wouldnt admit it. Ventus who had a good friend named Aqua who was also shily dating someone - surpriingly a certain silver-haired female from Twilight Town (they called it close acquintences or something). And Ven?

He wouldn't be silent for long.

Ventus 'Holani' sat in the corner of the room, watching his two 'brother's' fighting. He had never been to a wedding... let alone a homosexual one. His blue eyes rolled as he saw the two fighting. He suddenly got up and pushed the two away from each other.
"Stop it you fucking morons!"

Ventus hardly changed. Of course he had grown some... though he still looked EXACTLY like Roxas... or more or less, Roxas looked like him. But again, if someone knew one or the other better, they could still pick out the small differences. Sora's memory wasn't that good to remember everything about his long lost brother. He had gotten a bit taller, but not by much. He was still the runt in the Chasers.

As for Chasing, Terra, Aqua and he were able to collect 306 more keyblades before this day. That wasn't much... considering how many they had before they were all stolen. At least they were getting the the way they were suppose to be. They decided not to take Keyblades from keybladers until all the loose keyblades had been taken. They weren't going to get into that mess again.

Unfortunately... the Chasers had a hard time living the connected worlds that Sora was connected to because of Aqua. She so happened to have a special someone and had a hard time spending too much time AWAY from her. Ventus complained about it all the time until Aqua snapped and reminded him that his lover boy LIVED with them. Of course Ven denied that all too... but it was silently settled.

As for him and Terra... well now... heh... they still had their problems. Aqua never wanted to know what happened in that bedroom at night and every time she tried to buy lotion... she didn't have it for long. In the morning, someone came out of that room with a black eye and who knew how many bite marks Ventus had on his body. She guess Ven was a new flavor of muffin.

When it came to his mother, he felt out of place seeing her again... and his dad. It was good to see them again... but... even after all the years, he felt disowned in a way... they didn't bother keeping him alive in their hearts... just pushed him aside to make them feel better. BUT the good part was that there was no embarrassing baby pictures!

Ven growled as he pushed the two away. He rolled up his black and white sleeves, revealing one arm that looked like one large scar. It looked pretty gross and pasty still... but oddly after two years... it was still healing slowly. He looked at Sora and smacked the back of his head. "You have 10 minutes left till it all begins! Everything set?"


A man in black sat at one of the chairs in the front. He leaned back, yawning a bit as he watched some odd characters bustle about. His green eyes watched to and fro as they passed by him. A lot of people were sitting behind him but all their small chatter seemed to drown together in one.

November 29th

That was the date. Why did he remember? Well, because in two more days... IT WAS HIS 30th BIRTHDAY! Damn... 30 already. He checked his red hair if he was getting any grey hairs yet! December 1st... oddly a cold month! And there was much snow on the ground in Delshad too.

Delshad had changed within the two years. There was finally a Town Hall... instead of Roxas and Axel's home. People could send there mail and things there for the workers there to work on! All they had to worry about was to answer simple questions for each paper and they were done! But... their phone was always ringing except for Sundays... so that was good. Axel and Roxas had been through enough... a quiet life was something they looked forward too a lot.

As for Xio.... well, he had been busy too... with a litter! Yep, the little moomba was a daddy of six spunky little cubs... and they all lived in the warm house together... no one really knew what happened to mommy moomba... but Axel had fun nursing them with a bottle for the first few months and Roxas and him named them all. All of them had 'x' in their name of course.


In the 'Groom's' room, a tall man looked at himself in the mirror, the reflection of a small mouse next to him. Aquamarine eyes looked back at him along with a twilight necklace.

Things.... had been tough. Very... tough. The nightmares returned... even worse than before and it took longer for Riku to snap out of them. But with the help of Sora and Mickey... he was able to pull himself back together. All the worlds had returned and all the Heartless were reunited with their Nobodies thanks to Axel and Roxas.

But... he had still destroyed 12 Nobodies forever. 12... people would never come back and that... was hard to live with. Axel tried to talk to him... stating that he too had killed 2 nobodies... but 2 was a far cry from 12.

Besides all the gloom circling him for months, at least... he could never feel... that cold Darkness in him anymore. Ansem was finally gone from his heart. Ventus had unlocked it out of him when he pushed the keyblade in. It was... very unlikely that he would fall again unless he was possessed again.

As for their home... Riku was a bit heartbroken from it. He had lived in that treehouse for more than 10 years... and well... that was his and Sora's first home. It was... his island. Sora finally convinced him that they should move to the mainland. Riku wasn't all to thrilled about it... but there was no other place on the island for them to live. He figured it would be a pain in the ass for Sora to keep jumping back and forth to work.

Riku and some of the other men on Destiny were apart of the rebuilding crew. 13 long hours in the tropical sun, they worked all day, from sun rise to sun set to rebuild the mainland. The important places were built first like schools and the town hall and the likes. New homes were put up where the old homes once stood. It was apparent that Destiny was getting larger... and more homes were in the ideas of making before the 'storm' hit. So... Riku came up with the idea of building homes on the water... and that he and Sora would move into one of those once it was built.

In the papers of town hall, some people wanted to make homes on the other town islands, but that was out of the picture. The other two islands were further away... and it would be hard to keep everyone safe. The third island, Destiny Island, was of course put in Riku's name... and was now literally, Riku's island.

The silverette and Tidus were the head leaders in the construction of the water houses and named the project 'Kilika District'. They made sure it was high enough to stand the tropic storms and such. While they started the project, Riku would ask his partner everyday how his baby was coming along.

Kairi was pregnant.

And every day at break, he would find a small bit to eat and visit the school, visiting his one and only for some sweet kisses.... and maybe a quicky here and there. Sora was happy... because Riku was no longer that mystery man on the island... he was a well thought of man in the community now... since he rebuilt almost half the town. It was a hell of a lot better than being a waiter.

He took a deep breath and looked down at his small friend. "Were you this terrified at your wedding?"


Kairi had started teaching art again when she could, like Sora. It was good to see the children's happy faces again as they drew. It was also nice of the Gardens to make a fund raiser for Destiny. A lot of people donated school supplies, things for the shops and wood for the new homes. Of course Aerith came up with the idea and was put in affected by Leon, Yuffie and the gang. Cid was the man to see when it came to ordering things.

And yes, she was now 6 months pregnant. with the 'Prince of Hearts's' baby. Both Riku and Sora.... and Selphie were shocked at the news... but they were all glad that she had finally found someone... and someone that would take care of her.... like a princess.

She sat across the isle from Axel, waiting for everything to begin. Her gown was beautiful of course... too bad for the bump! But it was definitely a conversation starter.

Sora was proud of one thing. He no longer felt any guilt when looking at Ven's arm. Scarred as it was... at least it was there and working.

"ow!" Sora yelped, rubbing the back of his ehad. "Yeah, yeah i'm set I uh think. except you messed up my hair!!"

"Sora - you're hair is unfixable. I'm sorry." Roxas said, patting his brother on the shoulder.

Sora pouted, ebfore turning to look at himself in the mirror. this was it. In ten mintues... eha dn riku would be standing at that alter - they;d be sharing vows T-they'd be getting married.

He swallowed nervously, tugging at his tie. He and Riku had only ever seen each other in tuxes - back at Donald and Daisy's weddings. They had been lazy then. no ties - the jackets came off in about two minutes, shirts untucked, things wrinkled

But he was pressed clean this time. Not a thing out of place. His mother would be proud. His own crown charm shimmered out against the white, a nice, soft contrast. And of course he still wore his paopu earring with pride.

He sighed a bit, running a hand through his spikes, smiling at his reflection. He wished he looked better - wished he could match what Riku would look like. Riku would be drop dead gorgeous... he'd just be cute. Like always.

not like that mattered. "what if i forget what i'm supposed to say?!"

"Oh, like it's very hard." Roxas joked. "I and do."

Sora glared a bit at Roxas' reflection then sighed. He fingered his crown, frowning a bit. He had to distract himself so... "Hey Ven I've been meaning to ask. do you know where i got this from?" He pointed to his crown pendant indicating it. He honestly didn't know where he had gotten it. He;d always worn it... but he didn't remember where he got it. He rmemebered finding it one day in his room during a bit of spring cleaning, hidden in a little box marked 'Mine and Ven's [imaginary Ven's] stuff' when he was about eleven. He never took it off since. No one - not even his parents, could recall him ever obtaining it. He had a feeling he got it when he was very little... or something.

Things didn't just appear. Ity had to be speacial because he never took it off. It was speacial and he couldn;t imagine himself without it.


Terra slumped down enxt to Axel, grumbling about the fact that there wouldn;t be any muffins at this party. Wedding. whatever. He tugged at his 'overly' nice clothes uncomfortably.

He'd been to weddings before. Running from home to home when he was a kid... he had been through a lot of different events. Funerals, weddings, divorces (okay he ran awya fromt hose families). This wedding however was more exciting. He knew the people who were getting married - like 'em too.

"Where's your firecracker? Giving Mini a heartattack?" Terra asked Axel. The firecracker being of course Roxas, mini being Sora. No one wanted to know Ven's nicknames because they were mostly vulgar, unless he was trying to annoy him.

He and Axel - surprisingly - got along. To a point. fter all that haoppened they had put their differences aside - but until roxas and Ven pulled their evil little trick on them shortly before Xio's 'litter'. The chasers had gone to Delshad, looking for a keyblade, and Aqua had suggested visiting. Roxas and Axel - thrilled for an excuse to get off work early - agreed to show them around. At some point Roxas and Ven ahd seperated from the others and then came back, both acting a little strange, a ltitle off. Terra had figured they had a fight but Ven wasn;t acting too much different.

He was cussing less, that should have been his first clue. And Roxas was being overly sweet with too much malice behind his eyes. Second clue went unnoticed. The third was the uncomfortable feeling in his ehart, like he was being lied to. He ignored it. the fourth and biggest was that neither would let their 'respective' boyfriends touch them. In fact, Ven went around flirting with Axel - pissing Terra off, and Roxas was fluttering eyelashes at Terra - sparking fire in Axel.

Aqua meanwhile was only laughing at them like the bitch she was.

Roxas and Ven were lucky to be wearing long sleeves that day - the scars would have tipped them off immediattely. Neithe runderstood until Ven suddenly laughed saying, "god you guys are idiots. Can;t even recognize your own boyfriends."

"Fucking dickweeds." Roxas had snapped.

They had switched clothes. That's all. But damn had it been cruel. But ever since, Axel and Terra made it their mission to torture their lovers whenever they were together as payback.


Mickey smiled at Riku kindly. "Nervous doesnlt even begin to describe it. But don;t worry buddy everyone gets cold feet!" He nodded. "Sora pro'bly feels the same."

Mickey had been so happy to find out Riku was alive. They all had ben. they nearly demanded a rebirth party - but Riku desperetely declined. He didn't like being the center of attention too often - and he didn't feel like he desereved it.

That was okay though. With Sora at Riku's side, he kenw the two were going to be just fine. They truely loved one another. They;d proven it again and again. "Don't worry Riku. Trust in your heart. you know how you feel and how he feels and thats all that;s improtant. all marriage is is a pretyt certificate and a few words- nothing compared to sharing a soul, intertwining your hearts or even being part of a legend." Mickey grinned, feeling proud on how he made wedding such a little thing in comparison to all the things the two had already accomplished. It was quite a lot.

He pat his friend comfortably on the arm - considering he couldn't reach an higher and smield brightly at their reflections. This was going to be one of the best day of Riku and Sora's lvies - they just had to wait until it was over.


Tidus settled down next to Kairi, wrapping a comfortable arm around her shoudlers, smiling comfortably. "Hey sweetheart, how are you feeling?" he asked, kissing Kairi's cheek. He had been so freaked when he found out he was gonna be a dad. And happy. So very happy. A kid - they were going to have a kid... a beautiful girl or boy - they wanted to be surprised.

They hadn't decided on names, but they did already decorate the room. A cute white crib, a room painted like a sky, clouds all around, toys upon toys spread around.

It was the proudest moment of his life holding those test results in his hands, going to the ultrasounds, going shopping to satisfy all of Kairi crazy cravings... It didnlt even compare to rebuilding Destiny - though he was damn proud of that too. He and Riku worked together better then they ever had as kids. He felt like he had finally found more solid friendship with the silver-haired male. Riku when he was a kid was always so distant - only really accepting Sora and Kairi closely. It semed the boy's loss of 'darkness' was doing wonders.

When Sora had found out, he pratically demanded two things - A that he and Riku were the godfathers and B - that he/she would be in his class when he/she was six. they weren;t ahrd demands to meet. Not that they were worried about dying anytime soon but Sora probably just wanted someone to call him uncle Sora considering all his brothers were quite gay.

Ventus rolled his eyes as Roxas fixed him up.
He blinked though when he heard his name and smiled softly. Ever since he met Sora, his heart had opened a bit everyday. He could remember things that he once had forgotten before he was a test subject. He knew that Terra and his muffins... and these new feelings was opening his heart more... and Aqua had found Fujin... who Ven liked automatically.... for obvious reasons.

"Hmmmm." Ven thought, searching deep down inside.

"I'm the king of the hill!"
"No sir! I am!"
"No way! I got up here first!"
The two little boys laughed as they pushed each other playfully on the hill.
"Well.... I have bigger eyes!" Ventus opened his eyes wide.
"I have bigger muscles!" Soran showed very small arms.
"I have bigger teeth!" Ventus growled.
"I have a bigger heart!" Soran laughed as he hugged his brother tightly.
"OK! OK! You win! You win!" The blonde twin giggled as he could hardly breath from his brother's hug.

On their way back home from playing in the windmill fields, Ventus looked up at a shop and stopped. "Hey, look at that!" He pointed at a crown shaped necklace on a display. They walked into the shop and Ventus pointed at the necklace.
"Hey mister, can I get that for my big brother?"
The shop keep blinked and laughed, looking over the counter. "I thought you were twins."
"We are! But Sora was born first mommy said!"
"Oh yea...? And why do you want the crown necklace."
"Because my brother is the king of hearts!" Ventus laughed.
"Wow, the king of hearts huh? Well, it's kind of expensive."
"I'll give you all my allowance's!" Ventus frowned as he handed the man $4.
The shopkeep blinked as he looked at the money. The necklace was made of pure gold... it was worth a lot more than that... but he found it quite heart warming about the reason why the brother wanted to buy it.
"$4 huh? That's the exact price."
"Yay!"

The shop keep took the necklace and handed it down to the boys. Ven handed over the $4 and they marveled at the new treasure. Once they got home, their mother took it and said that Soran would have to grow a bit more to wear it.

Ventus smiled and poked his brother. A zap ran through them, making the memory transfer.

They had found out how that worked. The moment one remembered something... all they had to do was tap each other and the other got it. Neither of them knew how or why it happened... but it was nice to relive such memories.

When all hell was done, Ventus brought Sora back to Akbar, the place they had battled and they sat at the edge of one of the broken pieces of land, looking out at the stars. Ventus told Sora of all the old memories that he had that Sora had forgotten since he pushed Ven out. They also exchanged stories about their adventures. Ven with his stories of Cinderella and Snow White and the seven dwarfs and Sora with all his. They both laughed as they talked about Bambi and Agrabah, both friends and places they had gone. They realized that Agrabah was the world that connected Sora's linked Worlds with the connected Worlds that Ven knew.

"Yea... I'm sure you'll do just fine." Ven smiled as he patted his brother on the back.


Axel looked next to him and grinned. "Probably~~~" Yes, they had become friends thanks to their lovers... but one thing that Terra hated about Axel was that it was hard for him not to get bloody noses when seeing Ventus.... always thinking about how amazing a threesome would be. He wouldn't dare ask... because he knew he'd be outside playing with Xio all day if he did.

Axel actually looked quite handsome in his tux. It was black with a silver undershirt and a silver and red striped tie. He was always snazzy when it came to dressing.
He nudged the other and laughed. "I can't wait to see you dance! You're so big and bulky! It'll look like a box that wobbles!"


Riku smiled as he looked down at his old friend. "Thanks Mickey... Minnie is real lucky to have you.... Like I'm real lucky to have Sora... huh?" He looked back at the mirror at himself. He wore the black tux with an aquamarine dress shirt underneath, a black tie around his neck and a very girly hair piece on the side that his mother had given him for good luck. She wore it when she got married.

He looked up at the clock and took a deep breath. God... he hoped he remembered his vows... "It's time..." He nodded to himself. It was true what Mickey had to say... this was nothing compared to what he and Sora already did. They were combined in every which way...
He slowly walked from the room and into the hallway. A smile appeared as he heard the faint music. It was the same music he heard... before...

"Come on." He looked down at Mickey and started to walk towards the altar.


Kairi blinked as he saw kissed. "Haha... I'm feeling great!" luckily for her, her pregnancy was going smooth. No morning sickness... but she did have those crazy cravings! Selphie said it must be a boy! She too demanded to be the godmother.

She was glad that Tidus and Riku were getting to become good friends. She could always tell that the blonde wanted to be friends with the outcast. Now they were kind of buddy buddy. Showing off what they could do while working on the houses and goofing around. It was good to see Riku like that too. He still had his Darkness.... but he was Twilight after all. It was his Darkness like Mickey said... it wasn't even anymore... but just... his.

She was also happy that Tidus didn't get so jealous anymore. Though it was cute to see his jealous face. She never expected that they would be together... but she was happy that she had found someone that she loved and that loved her back. He would make a great dad. She smiled and sighed happily as she saw Riku come out and leaned on the blonde.


A red eye looked down at a wrist clock. It was almost time. She slowly looked up at her brown friend and frowned. "Late." Of course, she was referring to Aqua. Where could she be? The silverette woman was in a dress, something that she hated to wear... but the occasion called for it. It was a black spaghetti strapped dress with silver swirls through it, looking like the wind. Her eye patch too was changed to something more... nicer? It was a silver flower... that just seemed to work beautifully.

She blinked when she heard some chatter behind her and looked back slightly, only to roll her eye.

Behind her was a woman in a happy orange skinny dress. Her long brown hair was up in pretty curls and her smile was a bright as day. "I bet you're going to cry~~~" She teased a blonde next to her, swirling her finger in his hair next to his ear. "That would look silly for a guy with a big macho scar down the middle of his face!" She laughed more as she kissed him on the cheek.
"It's ok, me and Chicken wuss are here for you~~"

Sora straightened a bit as the shock passed him - the memory slamming into his mind. He shut his eyes, smiling slowly as he made sense of the jumbled mess, pieceing it together quickly. The shock treatment wasn't really painful - jsut a ltitle overwelming at times esepcally when transferinng larger memories. Have all of that transferred to your brain could be a bit of an overload. Once Sora was sharing such a long memory Ven fainted.

"Oh yeah..." He murmured fondly, fingering the necklace that lay above the blue dress shirt - same shade as his eyes. He smiled at his brother, throwing an arm around his shoulders, giving him a hug. "Thanks. One of the best gifts i ever got!" No wonder he liked it so damn much. He had found, through sharing memory after memory, more things that connected him back to Ventus. Even if he had closed his little five-year old mind off to his brother's existence, his heart never forgot. In simple ways like an imginary friends - to big ones like Roxas.

He rememebered the trip to Akbar really well. It had been... awesome. Knowin ghte land they were on was once his home crushed his ehart though. It used to be so beautiful... Now it was nothing. but he and Ven... they shared memories. so many of them. Wodnerland had been fun to explain, and turning into a lion, or being swallowed by a whale or being sucked into a book. It was more exciting telling Ven then it was to his kids because he knew held get an equally stunning story back - and complete understanding. Ven knew none of his stories were jsut fairy tales knew how very real they were and how very trying. It was a connection he had with him that was different then it was with anyone else because their destinies had been so similar...

Roxas watched the two share the memory looking away almost jealously. He knew it wasn;t his right to see those memories no matter how much he wanted to. He had no place in Ventus' and Soran's history - hell he didn;t have a childhood. He jsut... existed as a 14 year old and grew from there - with Sora then on his own. Still it made him sad knowing it was one thing he and his brothers couldn't completely share - it made him feel so out of place. Left out.

He could share with them his fake memories - the ones Namine had forced into his nonexistent heart, the ones Ansem the wise had demanded be conjured but it wasn;t the same. It was a childhood or a history.

Soemtimes Roxas wondered why he was still considered a brother when he never was meant to exist in the first place.

And sometimes having a heart sucked, Roxas thought, feelign sadness twist in it like a knife.

"Yeah... your right thanks!" He heard Sora mutter, before identical blue eyes were looking at him.

Sora frowned, seeing the faraway almost sad look in his brother's eyes. "you alright Rox?"

"Huh? yeah fine." Roxas said, shaking off his thoughts.

The brunette saw through his ruse. "Liar! you're emoing again!"

Roxas snorted. "Emoing? thats not a word."


Poor Axel got hit for everyopne one of those threesome thoughts by Roxas. He was probably going to go brain dead on day.

"Hey!" Terra said, glaring at Axel . "for your information I can dance just fine!" that was a blatant lie. He never 'danced' in his life. At least not ballroom dancing which was what sora and riku had planned. waltzing for gods sake! How the fuck was he supposed to waltz?! that was such a damn... damn girly dance!

He and Ven were guys damn it all. They didn;t twirl and twist like fucking ballerinas. "Pff and your to talk. At least i'm not a fucking giant. You're gonna make your firecracker look puny." He reached up, brushing away some of his brown locks. He used to dye it constantly ever since he was 16 to a dark black, but then suddenly Ven, in a rare chance of seeing his true hair color before Terra got a chance to change it again, had mumbled something about likeing his brown hair better and Terra just... stopped. Yeah... he got it bad. Bad enough to be a real brunette again. It shocked everyone else that was for sure.


"I don't call it luck. I call it fate." Mickey said with a cheesy smile. He watched Riku ruminate for a few minutes longer, and then when the other decided it was time to leave he nodded, following after. Riku seemed a bit calmer now - but he knew in front of all those people he'd probably get a bit of stage fright. the vows. Riku and Sora had prepared them speacial. Or at least he saw RIKU prepare his. He never saw Sora write down a thing - he knew the boy had a thing for speeches on the spot, especally heartfelt ones. He supposed the other would just say what came to mind. no planning needed.

They stood by the alter moments later. The time was ticking by. soon sora would be walking down that aisle. As nervewracking as it was, to have all those eyes on you, it was amazing how easy it was to forget them. It was hard not to just get lsot in watching the person you would be with for the rest of your lfie and NOT get lost in their eyes. They probably would forget the crowd until the kiss.


Tidus smiled, kissing her softly. "That;s great." he murmured fondly, smiling sweetly. Kairi meant the world to him. He was glad she wasn't having trouble with the baby - he read in books that the first was usaully horrible. He was surprised how easy it was for them.

He saw Riku and Mickey approaching out of the corner of his eye and grinned. "Looks like it;s almost time." he said, a little excited. Thsi was a great day for Sora and Riku...

And it brought on thoughts of him rbing the one on that altar... and watching Kairi walking to him, beautiful smile in place. Yeah... they;d have to do that - even if it wasnl;t necessary. Love was love. Words on paper didn;t mean much compared to that.


Seifer scoffed, rolling his eyes. He was in in dark blue tux - almost black if one wasn;t looking close. He would have prefered whtie but his money didn;t swing that way. "Pff i don't cry wussette." He gave her a smirk. "But don;t worry my shoulder's right ehre if you two need it." He shot a look at Hayner as well.

Hayner scoffed, looking away. "Please. You're smelly. no one would cry on you."


There was a loud sound of footsteps and almost everyone turned around, thinking it was Sora - but wait the music hadn;t started yet. Then the figure came into the light of the room, panting hard. Blue hair covered her eyes and she held something in her hands - a gift. For Sora and Riku of course. She was in a dress as well - it was like a silvery-white color, fluttering to the ground and whispering as she walked - no sleeves. Dressing up was something she hated to do but well... it was speacial. It was really hard to find colors that went with her hair though. Stupid blue hair.

She blinked curiosuly seeing all the eyes on her and laughed nervously. "sorry!" She tiptoed forward, hurrying forward once she saw Fuujin. she dropped in the seat next to her. "Sorry. I got a little um distracted." She gave the woman a kiss on the cheek. "Memories." she mumbled. Her gift... reminded her of someone she hadn;t thought of in awhile. Her brother. she had gotten so distracted by the time she realized she was twenty minutes late she was still in a towel, sitting on her bed. Yeah she never rushed so fast in her life.

Ven blinked as he looked at his... 'brother'. He laughed and punched him softly. "Na.... don't worry about it. He's yours huh? I'm to busy to hang out with this gay guy." He laughed as he pointed at Sora. "I have a full time job!"

He looked back at Sora and couldn't help but give him a soft smile. "Good luck up there huh?"
He remembered Soran say something about him and Terra at the altar and Ven screamed bloody murder. He waved to his two brothers and finally went outside. He blinked as he already saw Riku up there. It must of been time. He quietly rushed to the front, easy for him since he had wind at his feet.

He quickly glided to Terra's side and sighed. "He'll be fine." He suddenly blinked as he saw exotic green eyes on him... with a devilish smile. He wouldn't make the mistake of flipping Axel off again... he didn't want to get a 'is that a promise' remark and then have Terra beat the living shit out of the pyro.

He just rolled his eyes and leaned into the ground master slightly.


Axel grinned but then looked away as he heard a noise in the back. He blinked, seeing Aqua and laughed. She had been acting weird lately... from what he could tell. Ven and Terra knew her better.

Ven looked back too and frowned, seeing her sit with the Twilight Town group. "Pfft... bitch."


Riku nodded and smiled down at his friend. He looked over, seeing Donald, Goofy, and Minnie next to him. He thought it was interesting that Minnie would be marrying them.... but it was kind of cute in a way. Mickey was already busy being at his side.

He was a bit nervous... in front of all these people... damnit... start already!


Kairi's eyes lit up. "Hehe, yea! I'm so excited for them." She was so glad Riku was alive... there was no way she could see a fake Sora anymore... and it was only a week. Only was an understatement she was sure.

She blinked a bit as she heard the noise and looked back, seeing Aqua. There she was. She smiled and moved back to looking at Minnie and the rest. Everything was so beautiful. "Oh!" She blinked again and laughed, taking Tidus's hand and placing it on her tummy. "Moving again!"


Olette laughed and looked at Heyner. Nope, things were never going to change.
"Well, if you are going to cry Seifer, I have a pretty pink hanker chive with me." She reached into her little bag and waved it in his face, couldn't help but giggle either.
"But I'm suuuuuuuuuuuuure you can handle it." She grinned as she rubbed his leg lightly.


Just as Fuu was about to look at her watch again, Aqua made her grand entrance. She turned, looking over her friend's arm, seeing the blue haired woman. She smiled faintly and waited for her to sit. She smiled more at the kiss and looked at the gift. She had been acting a bit weird lately.... "Ok...?"

"Pff your gay too." sora grumbled, but he smiled back at Ven. "thanks."

Roxas blinked in surprise then smiled. "sure whatever you say Ven." The two waved back at Ven watched him take his leave. He felt... grateful to the other. so it looks like he was leading Sora to the altar.

Sora breathed nervously once his brother left, looking back at the mirrior. He smiled bravely. "It'll be okay."

"Of course." Roxas said encourageingly. "It'll be great."

"think he;s nervous too?"

"Who Riku? probably." Roxas said with a smile. "You ready.?"

Sora nodded deterinedy. "always. come along Bride's maid!"

"Oi!" Best man sounded way cooler.


Terra ruffled Ven's hair affectionately, smiling at the warmth the other brought. He glanced over at his comment, smirking. "Of course."

He glanced back as well seeing Aqua enter. He frowned a bit seeing her sit with Aqua rather then them, but nudged Ven in the ribs. "Leave her alone." He said simply. He knew Aqua was doing her best to share her attention - but... Ven and his self weren;t doing such a great job either. they had eyes for each other most of the time - even if it was only play arguing. Besides... soemthing had been on her mind lately, troubling her and it worried hima bit. He'd never seen her so out of it before. Half of the time he and Ven couldn't even get a reaction otu of her - her eyes just got this faraway look in them. Maybe being with fujin helped her think better - they sure didn't with all their constant fighting. And they knew no gentle ways of asking her what was wrong.

Though Fuujin didn't seem like she did either... What with all the kicks and sharp one-worded answers.


Mickey smiled, seeing his friends anxiety. He had been so honored when Riku had asked him to be the best man - he really valued their friendship. It was improtant to both of them. Everyone was here now... even Aqua who he had worried wouldn;t be. Ven had sat down - so it would be Roxas. Sora had such a hard time choosing that one. He looked towards Minnie, nodding slowly, indicating it was time to start the music and cue Sora in.


Tidus blinked, looking at Kairi when she exclaimed. But when his hand was put on her stomach he smiled, feeling the little kicks. "Looks like he or she wants it to start too." He chuckled, nuzzlign Kairi's neck.


Seifer scoffed, turning his head away pointedly. "whatever. i'm not the sentimental one."

Hayner snorted, not believeing one word of that.


Aqua just smiled, shrugging once mroe apologetically. She looked around. "just in time." she sighed, seeing Mickey's indication to commence with the wedding. thank god! Sora would never forgive her if she was late - hell she'd never forgive herself!

That was the problem with Ven... he still wasn't admitting anything between him and Terra. And vise verse.... though Terra was a lot more... down to EARTH than Ven.
He stuck his tongue out when he got his hair ruffled. Unlike Sora, he knew his hair was going to bounce back the same as usual.

He blinked when he got nudged in the ribs and winced a bit. The poor guy was bruised all over. "Yea yea..." He rolled his eyes and blinked again as he heart music start to play. That was the sign everything was beginning right?

He got up and turned in his chair, looking down the isle as if he was a little kid. WHAT!? This was his first wedding experience... and it was his brother's!


Axel smiled as he heard the music and looked back as well, seeing his one and only with a blushing boy in white.


Riku heard the music and looked down, feeling cold sweats running down his body. Just remember... this is nothing compared to everything else we've shared. SO WHY WAS IT SUCH A HUGE OCCASION!? He bit his lip and slowly looked up, catching a glance of Sora.

He blinked and his eyes were glued.
Oh my god.... this is really happening..... He was frozen, unable to move... to think... just those eyes. Those eyes that he had seen almost every day of his life... why were they so beautiful today?


Kairi smiled warmly as he nuzzled Tidus back but stopped as she looked back. It was starting! She blinked when she saw Sora. He looked so cute!
"YEA SORA!" She cheered.


Olette heard the music and looked over Seifer's shoulder, almost squishing him. Her eyes were bright as she watched them come around. She was super happy for them! They deserved it for all that they've done.


Fujin frowned as she looked at Aqua slightly. Her attention was taken away though when she heard the music start. Like everyone else, she looked back, seeing the happy.... bride?


As Roxas and Sora were coming out, Xio came out too with a basket full of white petals. He tried to yip but that didn't work out so well... but he quickly got in front of them and moved his head abck and forth, making the petals fall on the red carpet.

Terra blinked watchingVen, then smiled, doing the same, just so the other wouldn't feel too left out. He grinned seeing roxas and Sora. Damn sora was as red as a tomato! Even Roxas looked a little uneasily.


Tidus grinned at Kairi's over-exerbuerent exclamation. He looked back, seeing the two men in tuxes as they started down the aisle. Sora looked so nervous. Ha - this was the kdi who foight 1,000 heartless? And he was scared of an itsy-bitsy 'I do?'


Mickey smield at the sight of Sora, shaking his head. The jitters was shared by both parties it seemed. He wondered why. They were so silly. Sora was the confident one when it came to matters of the heart but beign a 'bride' changed that.


donald chuckled lightly at Sora's appearance. He wasn;t sure he'd ever seen the toehr quite so nerve-wracked before.


Seifer chuckled, wrapping hi arms around Olette to balance her and keep her from killing him, looking around as well. Heh, the two finally got to tye the knot eh? He was surpsied - a homosexual marriage. He'd never heard of such a thing.

Hayner grinned, as he looked back at his two friends. Sora looked all shy and anxious. He supposed that feelign was transfering to Roxas cause he was a bit uneasy too.


Aqua set her gift under her chair, looking back as the music played. She grinned, seeing Sora and Roxas all snazzied up. How cute! She was glad this was happening - Sora and Riku desereved it.


At the appearnece of Xio some people laughed, including roxas himself. the blonde, searched the people in the front row, winking positively at Axel, before glancing at the person he was meant to be leading, chuckling at his shell-shocked expression.

Was it normal to want to run away at your own wedding?! He loved Riku he knew it without a doubt so why... Sora looked up quickly, searching for Riku.

"Wow," Sora breathed queitly, staring straight at the silverette. Damn - he wasn;t the only one who looked nice. Riku was drop-dead gorgeous! Not a hair out of place. Their eyes locked, and Sora was caught in the green gaze that reminded him oh so much of home... And then all the tension in his body relaxed and he smiled much easier.

He grinned at the hair peice. It was actually quite adorable.

Roxas tapped him lightly on the back, and Sora blinked, his already flushed cheeks flushing furhter. together the brothers began their walk down the aisle, flowerpetals meeting their steps. It smelt nice. Along to way Sora's fingers twitched at his sides. what was he supposed to do with them?! No wonder bride's had a bouquet!! He clasped them in front of him nervously.

It felt like an eternity before he was finally there at the altar. A few steps and he'd be... he'd be at Riku's side.

Roxas chuckled, hugging his brother in a comforting manner, whispering, "It'll be fine." in hsi ear, before stepping away. He nodded to riku, smiling with a 'Be good to him' look on his face, before he retreated, taking his seat next to Axel.

Sora climbed the last few steps up until he was side-b-side with his lover. He smiled nervously at the pretty face. Oh my god we're really doing this! we'rereallygettingmarried! his mind raced, but he unclasped one hand, holding it out towards Riku indicating for him to take it.

When Roxas sat next to Axel, the redhead pulled him up on his lap and held him close. A chin was placed on his shoulder as Xio sat down in front of them. This was going great!

Ven turned around and plopped back down on his chair. Soran finally made it! He smile slightly as he lounged in his chair, use to the one back at home. His eyes suddenly shifted.
"Hahahaa, just wait till you and Terra are up there!"
He blinked as he could see it....

He shook his head and laughed uneasily. Oh man....


Minnie smiled as she saw the two. Goofy couldn't help but chuckle. These two were finally doing it!

Riku blinked as Sora came up, he couldn't get that stupid smile off his face. He looked down at Sora's hand and smiled, taking it. There eyes.... they wouldn't unlock.

Minnie cleared her throat and smiled.
"Greetings. Welcome on this beautiful winter day as we celebrate Riku & Sora's marriage. They have asked me to tell you how honored they are to have their families and friends here to share this rite of passage with them."
She smiled out at the group and then looked back at the two.

"Several of their friends wish to offer blessings to the them."

Ventus blinked. OH! That was his cue!
He stood and looked around a bit.
"Uh.... Bless this marriage with your sacred Air. Give them clarity of thought and communication, and lightness of being."

Axel placed Roxas on the chair again and stood, as proud and doofy as ever.
"Bless this marriage with your sacred Fire. Sustain their passion, and keep always warm their hearts and hearth."

Aqua stood next.
"Bless this marriage with your sacred Waters. Let them always trust in their emotions, and let love and compassion flow through their lives."

And last was Terra.
"Bless this marriage with your sacred Earth. Give them wisdom within their relationship, prosperity in their partnership, harmony within their community, and a place in the natural world."

Minnie smiled more as she then continued.
"Bless these two as they come together in the eyes of the Gods and the Goddesses. There is an important lesson in marriage, namely that we must give ourselves to love without giving ourselves away. A marriage that lasts is one in which each partner is growing individually while at the same time working to enhance the partnership. The essence of this commitment is the taking of another person in his or her entirety, as lover, companion and friend. It is therefore a decision which is not to be made lightly, but entered into with great consideration and respect for both the other person and one's self. Riku and Sora have been friends for 22 years, and it is out of this friendship and trust that a lasting love has grown. They have helped each other grow, witnessed the other's mistakes and cheered each other's successes. To be in their presence is to witness a loving partnership built on a very strong foundation."
She then looked at Mickey and smile softly before turning to Riku.

"Before the loving eyes of this community, what vows do you, Riku, offer?"

Riku blinked as he finally stopped looking into Sora's eyes. He looked down at her and blinked. SHIT!... ok... calm down.... don't sound like your practiced this 1,000 times!
He looked back at Sora, the smile arising again. He placed his other hand over Sora's to cup it in warmth.

"I love you. You are my best friend. Today I give myself to you in marriage. I promise to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle. I-I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort. I p-promise to cherish you, and to always hold you in highest regard. These things I give to you today, and all the days of our life. Whatever lies ahead, good or bad, we will face together." He was starting to sound more confident. "Distance may test us for a time, and time may tire us. But if we look to each other first, we will always see a friend. Sora, look to me for all the days to come; today I take my place as your husband."


Minnie sniffed as she wiped a tear away before turning to Sora.
"Before the loving eyes of this community, what vows do you, Sora, offer?"

Sora smiled when Riku;s hands was clasped into his. His smile turned more easy and happy and he relaxed completely. He heard everyone quetening down - but he couldn't look away from Riku even as Minnie spoke encoraging words.

But when Ven, Terra, Aqua and Axel begun their blessings his blush returned full force. wow... he could just hug them all right then and there! Gratitude sang through him. these were... the best of friends - the ones he knew were the best to ever keep!

Aqua settled back down, next to Fujin, smiling proudly after her declaration. sure it was a little corny but... sora liked that crap.

Roxas hugged Axel, smiling at him. He ksised his cheek. "good job." he whispered. They were encoriaging words the four were sharing. It probably put the couple a lot more at ease.

Terra smiled, settling back next to Ven, slinging an arm around his shoulders, proud of him and Ven. that had taken a bit of guts and some careful thoughts.


Sora smiled, as Riku's vows began, feeling the other's nervousness. He could tell the other praticed - but that didn't matter. the words he wrote had come from his heart. they were so heartbreakingly touching though Sora either wanted to cry - or kiss him right now. calm, stay calm! He ordered. His cheeks rosened again as Riku finished. He never Riku more then he did right now - if that was even POSSIBLE.

"Ri..." Sora breathed, smiling. He blinked when Minnie asked him for his vows and he panicked for a second. Oh crap what do i say?! He thought. what's in your heart. remember? Oh yeah - he forgot about that.

Sora shut his eyes, taking a steading breath, then added his hand to both of Riku's, cupping them in his own. He smiled at the other. The warm metal of his engagement ring was easily felt. "Riku... We've been friends for so long." He started, his voice slightly shaky, but meaning every word he was about to say. "I know you're always there for me, I know you're behind me 100% and I want you to know so am I. I'll be here forever, by your side, whenever you need me to comfort you, to encourage you, to lighten you." He grinned - yeah as if he'd never done that before. "Whatever decisions you make in life, I want you to make them with me. I want to be with you every step of the way. We've grown up together - now lets grow old together. No matter how many memories get lost with age, I promise to always remember and honor these vows. I love you and I always will, now and forever. I promise to be at your side, your light, now and forever. We'll always go together, not only as best friends, or boyfriends, or even lovers- but now as husbands. No matter what happens in the future we'll get through it - as a team. Always."

His smile became even more easy. "Now lets get married!"

Fuu smiled as she watched Aqua get up. She didn't know about these little things. They were.... cute. When the woman sat down, a gentle hand wrapped around Aqua's hand. Fuu smiled at the other. "Good job."

Axel smiled happily as he wrapped his arms around Roxas. Pfft, Ventus looked like Roxas... but there was only one true Roxas! And he was all his. He nuzzled his neck happily and kissed it. Alright... now let's not get carried away. He pulled away and brought the blonde back to his lap.

Ven grinned and stuck a thumb up to Terra. Alright... now all they had to worry about was.... dancing.


The room listened to what the two had to say.... and there was some tears going around... especially either their parents. Even Sora's father... was proud.

Olette sniffed as she listened and finally buried her face into Seifer's shoulder.

Fuu blinked as she heard Rajin cry and smiled, patting his shoulder softly.

Goofy too had to wipe a tear from his face before smiling.


And well... Riku's eyes were watery. Damn.... why couldn't he kiss him now!

"And for the rings?"

Riku blinked and smiled, looking down at Mickey as he handed him the ring. The silverette took it and took Sora's hand gently, pushing it on his middle finger... and Sora soon did the same.

"Rings are symbols of the circle of life and the two rings together are a symbol of infinity. A symbol of timeless love and creation. Both Sora and Riku will each wear half of the infinity sign as reminders of the unity and the infinite nature that is within each of them and within their love. Bless these rings and the symbols they represent."
The queen's voice rang over the tears in the room.

She then turned to Riku again.
"Do you Riku take Sora to be your husband? Do you vow to love him, comfort him, honor him, protect him and be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?"

Riku's eyes widened as he looked down at Sora. There was a pause but a small and warming smile ran over his face.
"I do."


Minnie smiled as she finally turned to Sora.
"Do you Sora take Riku to be your husband? Do you vow to love him, comfort him, honor him, protect him and be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?"

Aqua smiled at fuujin, leaning her head on her shoulder. "thank you." She watched the rest of the ceremony happily, even coming clsoe to tears herself.


The vows were beautiful. Sora could even hear his mother crying from here. It made him happy - mother crying at weddings was a good sign! a great sign! His parents had fully accepted this hadn;t they?

It made him so happy.

Seifer ran his hands through Olette's hair, smiling softly. He knew she'd cry! though it was all real touching all the same. Seifer was a romantic at heart. (Don't. Tell. Anyone!)

Donald sniffled as well, rubbing his little beak. He'd been with these kids for so many years - it was so wodnerful seeing this happen.

Mickey smiled encourgaingly, handing riku the ring when he was asked to. This was perfect. Going perfectly perfect.


Sora smiled as the new ring joined the old - and was thrilled to add Riku's. They looked good on them, showing their bond. He smiled up at Riku. This was it. This meant everything, now and forever.

Sora felt his eyes watering the minute Riku said 'I do.' He smiled, and when he was asked, he couldn't help but smile a similar smile back at Riku.

"I do." He murmured lovingly, blue eyes shining as they stared at aquamarine. This felt like one of the ebst days of his life!

Riku's mother too had to dab her eyes with a tissue. She looked at her friend, Sora's mother and patter her on the back. Unlike Sora's parents, Riku's mother always had a feeling she would be here... only well... not in such a huge castle on another world!
She was thinking of a more traditional wedding on the beach... the traditional way that they married on Destiny... but this was nice too. Much bigger and a lot less sand.

She had no idea that her old lover had passed down his Darkness to their son... and it was a good thing that she didn't. It would break her heart to know what had happened two years ago... or just in the past itself. But now he and Sora were finally married... and lived closer too! She couldn't be any more happier... unless she got a grandchild... but that didn't seem like it was going to happen.

At least she could watch Kairi's baby grow. It was close enough.


Olette sniffed more as she rubbed her eyes with the pink tissue. She smiled as she felt Seifer's hand through her curls. She knew he was a romantic deep down inside, if he wanted to admit it or not.
She was kinda happy in a way that the Darkness had swallowed up Twilight for that day... she would of never looked at the blonde in this way.

She leaned back in her chair and looked at Hayner who was totally glued before leaning into Seifer with a devilish look. She cupped her hand over his ear and leaned in, whispering. "So... when are we going to get married??" She couldn't help but giggle.


Minnie cleared her throat one last time and smiled happily.
"Sora and Riku, the vows you make today formalize your deep commitment to each other. Since you have pledged yourselves to one another in the presence of this family gathered here, let it be acknowledged that you are husband and..." She paused, use to saying 'wife' but.... she giggled and bowed her head.

"husband. There is no moral in love except the moral to love more deeply. We can expect nothing from love except what love gives. We cannot choose what chances and changes may befall us, but we can shape the spirit with which we meet them. May you both, in accepting the love and affection of family and friends gathered here, do your best to return that love to the world. Merry meet, and merry part, and merry meet again! Sora and Riku, you may kiss!"
She jumped excitedly. They were finally... technically married!


Riku continued to smile down at Sora as the little mouse continued. A tear broke off from his eye and ran down his cheek slowly. This could of happened years ago... but... no, he wasn't going to think about it. Sora worked real hard on making these thoughts go away.
When he heard that they were allowed to kiss, he took his hands away from the other and grabbed Sora's shoulders, bring him into a passionate kiss.

The audience cheered at kiss.

Sora's mom watched her son confidantly stutter through his vows, eiping her eyes. Her little boy - all grown up! it was the most heartbreakingly wonderful moment in any mother's life. sure it didn;t go the way she expected - she would never have grandchilden but...

But she supposed that didn;t matter. she;d never seen her boy happier. Never seen riku so happy either. He was always a bit down in his teenager yeaers - but Sora had really perked him up. they were... they were perfect together.


Seifer blushed bright struck specchelessly. "Uh, uh uh.... us?!" He stared at her, opening and shutting his mouth. to be oerfectly honest... he hadnlt even really thought about it. Olette was quite a girl, he;d give her that. she was beautiful in every way... He felt more for her then any other woman he;d met. But marriage?

That just seemed scary. Look at how nervous Sora and Riku had been and they knew without a DOBUT how much they lvoed each other. This was a torture ring he didn;t want to meet yet. "Um... one day...?"


Sora smiled at the 'husband and husband' thing. See? they werenlt the only ones confused on how to wrok this. It was different because he wasn;t any damn bride he was a man... marrying a man...

And he loved this man with all his heart.

"Sora and Riku you may kiss."

He looked up at the other, blinking as he saw the tear. Riku couldn't cry - he'd cry too then! Riku pulled him close suddenly and on instinct Sora shut his eyes, feeling warm lips descend on his own. he smiled, leaning on the toes of his feet to kiss back. He reached one hand up, cupping a cheek, wiping away the tear with his thumb.

They were married. It was over. and Sora could hear cheering and clapping all over the place - not to mention still some crying and a few whistles.

When riku broke away, Sora met hsi eyes again, smiling happily. "We did it." he whispered. All the enrves and tensions were gone. In it;s place was nothing but pure, unrestrained happiness.
