Up, Up, and Away

Axel watched the display, finding it actually pretty entertaining... but the minute she cut the head off, his eyes widened. She... was pure evil. His exotic eyes narrowed as anger raged all throughout his body.
"ROXAS!" He growled as he glared at the woman. "YOU BITCH!"

It's not like she didn't hear that on a daily basis.

In a mad rage, the pyro pulled out his arms, stretching them far. Fire started to swirl around them, forming into his chakrams.
"I'm so flattered that you want to fight me Aqua! BRING IT ON!"
Sure, Axel was scared to death of water... but he had to do this... for Roxas.

Xio felt the furry in his master. Never did he feel so much power. He growled at the woman, showing his fangs. They could fight her without fire!


Ven stopped as Sora came his way. It was a bit weird being called Roxas... and that kiss... He still didn't realize that the blush was still over his face.
He laughed though and shook his head. "No, everything's fine that I know of. I kinda had a bad feeling myself... but you seem ok."

He looked up at the half house half tree house, seeing a man with long silver hair standing at the doorway.
"And Riku seems fine too."
He looked back at the keyblader and rolled his eyes. "Axel went to the mainland to get some coffee. He said that the water didn't bother him anymore. The things he does for coffee frightens me sometimes."

[Reno]

"that's more like it!" Aqua crowed triumphantly. She spun the spear on her hand gracefully. "Let's see what you can do!"

The tip of her spear skating across the water, the water rippling violently. Then line vines, tendrils of water broke from the surface, flying for the master and his pet.


"yeah i'm okay." Sora reassured, smiling a bit.

He frowned a bit at the other's next sentence. "He went... by himself..." And Roxas hadn;t followed? That was... odd even to his ears. soemthing still felt wrong though - a tingling was running down his arms, stopping at his fingertips. The keyblade... it wasn;t to be drawn.

But this was Roxas, his brother, and he;d never hurt him. "Well uh... do you want breakfast...?" He kenw the other didn;t always parttake to the feast held in the early mornings - the sweet food gave him stomachaches at times and he had something against eggs (soemthing about Axel stealing from him too foten or whatnot). But as the other;s 'host' he still had to be gracious.

Axel saw the attack, quickly dodging it by jumping high. He quickly spin bot chaks in his hand, sending them down at the woman with high speeds.

Xio too quickly dodged the attack, running around the woman. Axel was never so made... and usually when they fought, he never really wanted to do all too much damage... but the way he was acting, it seemed like he wanted to kill her!

He growled and quickly slashed a paw at the foe, his claws sharp and powerful.


Riku watch from afar. It seemed like Roxas was ok... he was smiling and all. He looked out at the mainland, seeing the sunrise making it glow like always. However, he too had a hard time shaking of a bad feeling.

"Eh... not today... you know I have a hard time eating breakfast." He frowned though, looking at the mainland. "No, he went with Xio too...but... I'm a bit worried though... he's been gone for quite a long time." He walked away slowly, as if he was really worried.

His blue eyes turned back to Sora. "I think I'll go look for him. Will you come with me?"

Aqua dodged the Charams, that flew at her. she jabbed her spear towards one, catching it deftly. with a pwoerful sweing she sent it back towards Axel, turning his own weapon against him.

Had they been on solid gorund, the moomba with it;s soft paws would have been more deadly - felines were notroious for silence.

However they were surronded by water, every sound riippling and meeting here ears. Without een having to look, relying on ears alone, she spun the spear in her hands, the metal rod catching the pet before his claws ever connected, sending the little guy flying. for a woman, she sure had a lot of upper body strength.


Sora blinked, then smiled, feeling a ltitle more comforted. "Of course!" He grinned, looking upwards. "Hey Ri we'll be back soon we just have to get Axel! Take that rest i order you too!" He joked, eyes bright before he was running to 'Roxas'' side, smiling at the other. Maybe that was the weird feeling in his ehar.t maybe Axel was too afraid to cross the water back over and was panicing and he could just sense it?

That sounded weird even to him...

Axel blinked as one chak came back but not the other. He landed on a high 'tooth', watching her counterattack. He growled, jumping again and flipped over himself, just in time for the chak to miss his waist. An arm reached forward fast, catching the wild weapon and landed on his feet. The water rippled across the way and a splash was heard.

Xio blinked as his claw met the spear, then the amazing power behind it. The poor thing went flying and fell into the water on his back, sliding down. He whimpered as he stood again, his red fur dripping wet. It was so cold!

Axel growled and looked back at the woman. "Why are you doing this!?"


'Roxas' smile at the agreement. That weird look Sora was giving him was fading. His acting wasn't half bad. How am I doing Terra? The blonde grinned as Sora started talking to Riku. Everything was going as planned. Terra really was a mastermind... he just wished that his first kiss wasn't some slobber by some nut... but it would all be good in the end.

Riku looked down at the two and smiled. So everything really was ok. "Alright... just be careful!" Riku called back, going back inside and closing the door. He sighed, wishing that he hadn't changed if he was just going to rest. He moved over to the livingroom, laying down on the couch.

Wait... Axel? Crossing water?

Roxas walked over to dock, looking out at the water. The dock had room for two boats. One was gone. Terra had moved it in the morning, making it look like Axel really did take a trip over.
The blonde got into the only boat and yawned. "I hope he hasn't gotten himself into any trouble already."

Aqua's smirk was back, a playful, malicious glint to his eyes. "you really ARE too curious for your own good." She looekd towards xio, then towards Axel. "How about we make this fight a little more fun?" she chuckled, cocking a egotitical smirk. "every time one of your or that thing's attack hits me, i'll reveal one piece of information."

She tossed her head, blue hair wafting in the sharp, biting cold wind. "That is if you don;t perish first." She ran forward then, covering the distance in record time, jabbing her long-ranged weapon towards Axel's stomach.


Sora laughed. "Axel? NOT in trouble? What Twilight Zone did you step out of?" He grinned teasingly as he jumped into the boat, making it sway as he sat down, taking the oars. "Lets just hope he didn;t burn down the town!" He laughed. he started to row, smiling at the other. "I still can;t believe he crossed all by himself, i thought you said he was completely terrified of it? like a phobia type thing? didn;t you have to like force him into tkaing bathes?"

Axel frowned as he watched her talk. Look at her and all her glory. That ticked Axel off pretty badly. At least if someone wanted him dead, he usually got the reason why.
A growl admitted as he eyed Xio.
"Deal."

Axel hadn't fought one on one for a very long time. He really didn't count Xio either... he needed Roxas...
His eyes narrowed as she came dashing at him quick but as quickly as she did, he quickly side stepped. Thanks to all his nights with Roxas, he grew quick flexible. He was also as thin as a rail, wasn't much stomach to go after.

He dashed to the other side of the area, quickly turning back.
"Shield!" He called, making an invisible shield around Xio and himself. At least if they were going to get their ass kicked, he didn't want it to be instant.

The moomba could feel the little bit of protection around him, making him more brave. They could do this! He needed to protect Axel. Unfortunately, she could hear everything, and with huge paws, it was hard to be silent. He growled though, quickly going after her and went for her ankles.


Ven laughed, nodding. "Haha, that's true. He always finds something to get into." He looked back at the man land and sighed happily. "It's still in one piece!"
He yawned again and leaned back, enjoying the ride. When Sora brought up Axel's phobia, he only smiled and shook his head. "Yea... but like I said, I think coffee is the key to all cures for him. And we don't struggle with bath time anymore. I have two weapons. I either... come in with him, or I give him the Look of Doom."

He sat up and gave Sora an example of the Look of Doom then burst out laughing. "It's gets him every time!"

Aqua laughed maliciously. "A shield won;t save you!" She watched as Axel danced around, his movements quick yet furtive. She knew he wasn;t used to all this fighting - and especally not without true back up. this fight was gonna be quick, and easy.

She heard the splashes of Xio charging for her. She daintly jumped upwards, looking down towards the lion. she jabbed her spear towards the creature, blue ribbon fluttering with it's quick movement.

It slammed against the shield. Had it not been there poor little Xio would have looked more like a thing to roast over the fire. She used the momentum of the richoeted spear to flip, landing in the water between both fighters.

She spun the spear and then slammed it into the ground. The ground under their feet shook, sending Axel and Xio off balance.


Sora grinned as he was send 'The Look'. he laughed. "Yeah i can see how that would terrify him! Mind if i borrow that for Riku?" he chuckled faintly. Not like he;d ever use it. His pout was legendary in getting what he wanted.

As he rowed though, his eyes strayed to Roxas many times. "Hey Roxas...?" The boat came to the dock and he threw the rope around it, tying it securely. He jumped from the boat, letting it rock a bit. "Why'd you want me to come here?" his voice was serious, and he looked down at the other. "Axel's not here is he?"

The look in his eyes told a lot more. He knew. He knew that something was off here - he wasn;t sure what though. His heart however was telling him this was all wrong, and the keyblade was still tingling on his fingertips, ready to be drawn.

"Are you even Roxas?" He murmured.

He was beginning to think his 'dreams' were telling him something. He had to go through Replica Riku - maybe it was a warning that not everyone was who they seemed. He still rememebered how when Larxene had relieved that Riku to be a fake, he had taken notice to how the twinge in his heart when the other was near was gone. And now that he was older he could feel it better then ever.

He knew one think for certain - whoever this man was his heart wasn't connected to him. As good as an actor as he was, Sora's heart never lied to him before it wasn;t going to start now.

Axel watched, his eyes widening as Xio almost became speared, but luckily the shield had saved him. Damnit Xio... don't be so brazen! He frowned. Xio was on offense, which was never a good tactic. No... he's had to weasel his way through this battle. He didn't have the upper hand. Well, Axel was well known on how to play tricks... and he played them well.

As he was thinking, he realized that he was no longer on his feet. "Ah!" He fell backwards, hitting the water and crater floor hard. Water slashed over him and he was completely soaked. His heart raced, feeling the sensation of the water, making him want to jump out of his skin. He quickly got up, panting a bit. God... he hated water. so. much.

His eyes narrowed again, emerald cat eyes glaring through the now long, wet hair in his face. He was charming with his wet red hair. Now that it wasn't long or spiked, it was long and flowing, almost reaching is ass. Steam was coming off his body. The water was cold.

That was when it hit him.

A grin started to form as he looked around the area. Yes... a trick. He pushed his arms out, making his chakrams spin again. His eyes started to glow as red symbols started to flash around him.
"BURN BABY!"
The ring of fire started to aflame, only to be put out quickly by the cold water. Obviously that was going to happen.. but what Axel want wasn't fire.... but steam.

Lots and lots of heavy steam. Xio watched, a bit confused, but once he saw the steam start to get heavy, he knew what Axel was doing. He suddenly started running around the area, spitting fire at the water, making more steam rise. Axel put a lot of strength into the fire, but not too much.

Finally, after a few minutes of pure firexwater action, the whole arena was full of thick steam.
No one could see a thing... but since no one could see anything, he knew Aqua would rely on her hearing... but since there were two of them... which one was she going to attack?

Axel started moving, making his steps heavier to mock the lion's. Taking a chak that was still aflame, he looked through it, his eyes adjusting better and seeing the outline of the woman. His other chak was quickly spun at her.



"Haha, sure! I doubt it'll work though." He reassured.

As the boat was docked, he watched Sora jump out. "Wha...?" Ven looked shocked, his mouth opening. He quickly got up and onto the dock himself.
"What... what do you mean Axel's not here? Where else could he be?"

As he talked, he walked towards Sora more, making the brunette back up onto the beach where the fight the day before occurred.
"What do you mean... I'm not Roxas. Of course I'm Roxas."

He frowned, his eyes looking angry and hurt but suddenly he stood straight and a small grin appeared. It was probably about that time that the real Roxas was awaking from the toxins.
It was too late though... Ven had Sora exactly where he wanted.
"Phase 1, Task 3 complete. Phase two... begin." Ven said softly, letting Terra know that his job was now done.

The blue eyes looked back at Sora, the grin wide as ever. A sudden boarder was made, an odd field made of computer looking insides flickered as the field wall. The two were now fielded off from the rest of the world. Ven suddenly pulled his arm out, a keyblade that Sora had never seen before appearing instantly.

"Sora! I'm so hurt! I thought we were brothers!"

[Reno]

She laughed, seeing the red-heads baffled look. The water scared him so much - it would be easy to win this fight!

However, Aqua was baffled at first when the other began to use fire attacks - not foffensively though. It seemed he just just throwing off some steam...

And then she saw his plan, as her vision began to fog. Xio joined into the 'attack' making the process so much more quick. She began to walk backwards uneasily, then, seeing that she didn;t have any idea were she was going, stopped.

She would just have to rely on her hearing. no big deal. She had been in worse sitautions - fighting without much sight was fine.

She heard the loud stompings, and her the blade towards the water, knowing it was the moomba with it;s loud steps. It was low to the ground, a sweeping blade would dispose of it quickly.

That's when she saw it, a glint of light, like fire, and tensed. Soemthing came from the fog, a dark shape - one she could identify fast enough. But when she did, she dodged left - not qquick enough.

she hissed in pain, feeling the blade of the chakra bite into her left arm, warm blood seeping down her arm. "Not bad, you're smarter then you look." she coplimented. "We're on a world known as Dragoon. I found it years ago - power here is drawn on the basis of dragons. the world is split into what is known as realms - there are nine dragons, so there are nine realms. The realm we are at, my favorite, it the realm of Regole's the water dragon." She smirked as she charged forward, seeing the shape if only because Axel wasn;t bright enough to turn OFF the fire. It was like a lighthouse, guiding the ship in. "I had you brought here because i knew of your phobia and how it would work to my advantage." Her spear struck out towards Axel's body.


Sora, who at first was unsure of his accusation, only became more sure of it as the male ebfore him began to walk towards him, a predatory step in his walk. Sora began to back away, walking right into the trap the other was leading him into.

Sora gasoped, hearing and feeling the field apepar around him. He looked around wildly, not understanding. "Wha-" a sudden spark brought his eyes back to 'Roxas' seeing the keyblade. And just like that, his own, patiently waiting for it;s master's okay, burst forth. It was deep a beautiful metalwork, a blade hidden within the wirings of gold and blue metal. At the tip as the 'prongs' of the blade was a heart shape that broke off, sharp as daggers. The crown at the end of Ultima shimmered and Sora got into a stance.

"Like hell. You're not Roxas! Who are you?!" The master demanded, trying to take note of everything at once. He had a limited amount of space, he was alone, and he had no idea if he could fight someone with the face of his brother before him.

Things were looking bad. Real bad. Terror and confusion filled his heart. "What did you do to Xio, Axel and my brother?!"


Veb had been right. Roxas growled, rolling over, coughing a bit. His eyes opened, the vision blurry. He sat up slowly, the world spinning before hie eyes. He put his head in his hands, shutting his eyes, groaning softly. The world just had to STOP for a moment. what had happened? Who had taken him? Was he still on Desatiny?

and the most important: Where was Axel?!

When he looked up next, his vision was clear, but he still felt soemwhat sluggish. He stood slowly, taking in his surrondings. He knew exactly where he was.

He was still on Destiny, thank god, but he was hidden in the bushes - not far from where he and Axel had lain - but far enough that no one could see him...

He stumbled from the bushes. how long had he been out? from the position of the sun it told him it couldn;t have been TOO long... but then again he couldn;t read the sun too well. He couldn;t tell if it had been minutes or an hour...

And Axel, as he feared, was gone. His heart twisted painfully. No, no NO! this was all wrong! He had already enarly lost Axel once... he couldn't go through that again. He looked towards the branch, his hopes further shot. Xio was gone too.

Why? why seperate him and Axel?! why did they always want Axel?!

"Argh!" He started to run. He had to get to Sora and to Riku! he needed help! He crossed the beach in record time, the home of the two lvoers, coming in sight quickly. He pounced for the porch, using the high jump abilty Sora had gained from valor and he gained from the split to get him their quicker. He twisted the knob of the door, not surprised to find it unlocked - no one lived here so what did they have to be afraid of? - before running inside. "Sora! Riku!!"

What the frantic blonde did not notice was from the shadows in the nearby palm trees, a figure took shape.

Axel grinned as he heard the sound of pain coming from Aqua. "Don't play with masters young lady." He taunted as he continued to side step around her. Xio too knew to keep moving to cause her confusion. His master was so smart!

Dragoon? Axel had never heard of the place. No wonder he didn’t recognize it. He frowned, hearing her continue. Of course… anyone could of really figured out his weakness; water and air, and it wasn’t the first time people used it against him. Well, at least now he knew where he was… and that the hopes for help… well, there was none. Who knew how far he was away from Destiny. How far away Roxas and the others were.

Now he just had to find out why she was after him… and what happened to Roxas. He didn’t come through the portal with him. Of course, he didn’t know that that wasn’t even Roxas in the first place… but he could feel deep down inside, that there was something wrong with his lover… wherever he was.

In his deep thought, he suddenly felt a horrible pain go through his shoulder. Easily, her spear punctured through his left shoulder and out the backside. “AHHHH!!” He winced as his body fell back slightly, feeling the tendons in his shoulder snap. He quickly grabbed a hold of the woman’s throat with his other hand and held it tightly. Bright green eyes stared down at the blue. “Where… is Roxas!”

Xio quickly saw the situation… and since Aqua’s spear was deep inside his master’s shoulder, there was no way she could use it against him. Quickly he dashed over and leaped onto her back.


“Sora! Stop being so mean! You’re words are so hurtful!” He grinned as he swung his own key blade. It was a steel, ragged looking key. A powerful mix of Jungle King and something completely new. He too quickly took stance, but was as calm as could be.


Riku still laying on the couch, in the middle of dreamland and reality. But he suddenly got a horrible pull in his heart. He sat up, his eyes wide. “Sora…” Something was wrong. He could feel terror and confusion… and it obviously wasn’t from him. That was when Roxas broken in in a panic. He quickly stood up and looked at the other.

“Sora? Wasn’t he with you? You were going to the main land and….” He stopped, his eyes widening more. Something was wrong. “Oh shit…”

[Reno]

Aqua growled at him, struglling agaisnt his hold that he had on her neck. She felt claws suddenly raking down her back, and gave a cry. she yanked away from Axel and jumped backwards, blood dripping down her back. she stumbled, now weaponless but not vunerable. She breathed hard, loking at the two with narrowed eyes. "Roxas is on Destiny." She answered. "but the 'Roxas' you sdaw and ksised this morning? that was my partner Ven. He had knocked Roxas, unconcious and mvoed him away, then psoed as your lover. He was the one to lead you here, you fell right into the trap." she grinned. "And now Ven is fighting Sora, and my other partner Terra will be taking care of your precious Roxas and your little friend Riku too."

She rasied her hand. "Goodbye." The waves around them shuddered, and then, as if some magical force was pulling them, they began to lift, high, high, high above the walls of the 'teeth'. The wave surronded the whole inlet. Aqua disappeared.

For one terrible, terrifying moment they stood there, suspended - and then they came crashing down, filling the makeshift bowl violently and quickly.


Sora shook in anger and fear. Something was terribly terribly wrong. He grit his teeth. "ANSWER ME!" he demanded, rushing forward, slashing his blade at the other, strength behind his swing. The blade the other had - it was huge! and Sora knew - while his blade was going to be aiming to cut, Ven's was one that was going to break bones. He had to be careful.


"W-What me...?" Roxas was in panic. there was a shapeshifter here or something!? "No! I've been unconcious! Someone took Axel and Xio and-!" and now Sora was gone?! He was close to panic on his own level. "shit!" He rushed from the house, looking outwards towards the mainland. "What;s going on!?"

Axel watched her as he came down with pain, seeing the red spikes behind her. Thankfully he did have Xio there. The moomba jumped off, hating the sight of blood, though it was his favorite color. And even hating blood, he made sure he licked a drop, getting her DNA. That was what was so unique about Moombas... they could track people not by their sent... but by DNA.

If they ever ran into this woman again, or anyone related to her, Xio would know immediately.

When the woman jumped back, the faithful pet sat next to his master, watching her carefully. Axel's now free hand reached over and slowly pulled the spear from his shoulder, wincing from the intense pain. Blood poured down his chest as some black clotting came with it.
He growled at her. A fake Roxas? That meant... he kissed another man!? SHIT! Roxas was going to kill him!

Once he heard the goodbye, he stopped, frowning more. "You still didn't tell me why you're doing th--" He stopped. She was gone. That was when he heard Xio's terrifying yips. He looked back, seeing the moomba looking at the sky in horror. He looked up too, seeing the water over their heads.

Then it fell.
"COWARD!" Axel screamed with the last of his breath before the violent waves fell down on him and Xio. The water hit hard, like a million tons on his frail body. His chaks quickly were lost in the violence, his clothes pulled to shreds. It pushed him off his feet along with his companion, their bodies trashed around violently. As soon as the water became somewhat calm, Axel did all he could to push himself to the surface.

But... it was near impossible. The weight of the water was too much, the fall making it suck him down to the depths. Then there was the fact that his body was weak from the fall... and his one arm was blown out, making it impossible for him to use it but the biggest and most devastating fact remained:

Axel didn't know how to swim.

His green eyes stared up at the some bit of light he saw rippling at the top. It was so close... and yet so far away. He struggled, with all his might to break surface but after a minute or so trying to save his life, the last bit of air escaped his lungs. His eyes suddenly became soft... and lifeless. His body stopped struggling and slowly started to fall.


Ven easily blocked the attack with the larger keyblade and pushed it off, making Sora push back. He grinned more as he saw the look on Sora's face.
"What's wrong brother? You can't trust me?"

With that, he suddenly slammed his keyblade on the ground, making the 'world' start to glitch. The views around them was just an illusion. They were far from Destiny.
Where they really were was just a chunk of land, drifting in space. Other chunks of land were floating around with objects floating around them.

"Welcome to Akbar, a world that was ripped into pieces by raging winds. I hope you enjoy your flight!" He grinned as he pointed his keyblade at the other. Suddenly a powerful just of wind blew from behind him, making his clothes and Roxas's charm blow. The dirt blew violently at Sora but Ven was unmoved.


Riku frowned. This was all a set up. Those ripples! He growled and raced outside with Roxas. The island seemed fine... but he still had a tear in his body. Sora... Sora was gone. He couldn't feel him anymore. He jumped from the house and onto the sand. It was just him and Roxas...

His eyes quickly looked around, seeing if anything or anyone was close. He could tell there was because the Way to Dawn was now in his hand.

[Reno]

Roxas hand went to his heart. "Axel." he breathed, before his hand mvoed to his shoulder. He hadn;t felt it so cleanly before because of his own panic and the sluggishness brought on by the drugs... but there had been a certain sense of pain there and now it felt stronger there ever. It was a phantom pain - not his. It was Axel's. He was fighting. Riku suddenly sped past him - jumping from the porch. He jumped after him - and just like riku his own two keyblades appeared in his hands. Thats he felt it. An acute sort of pain - one he recognized instantly as the same he had felt when fighting Malificent.

He fell too his knees gasping for breath and screamed as loud as he could. "AXEL!" Tears began to rush down his face as the pain rushed over him in waves almost phsyicaly in their ferocity. He pounded his fists in the sand sobbing brokenly.

Axel was dead? It just couldn;t be true!


Aqua apepared on the top of one of the teeth, watching the water flow out slowly. She grinned evilly at the bodies that would be elft behind. "This was too easy." she said. Why did Ven and Terra get the hard fights? "Phase 2, part 1 complete." She spoke smugly - telling Ven and Terra both that her battle was done and won.


Sora scowled at the pseudo-Roxas as he was pushed back. But then the ground and world rippled, and he was left with a disorientating feeling as everything broke away. He gasped in panic, looking around. Everything around him was broken apart and the keyblade sung in his mind with sadness. Ven;s words ran in his ehad and Sora could almost SEE the world being torn to pieces.

That;s when Ven made his move, and the keyblade master was lifted from his feet. He grunted as he hit the ground - his body went skidding off the piece of land.

He gave a cry of terror, seeing nothing but space beneath him. He started to fall, but then jabbed his keyblade into the side, stopping his furious descent.

He looked upwards, hearing the blowing of Ven;s furious widns screaming above him. It eventually died down, telling Sora it was safe - but as he reached for the edge, there was a painful twinge in his heart and pressure of tears behind his eyes.

He had no idea what had just happened but it was something bad. He couldn;t dwell on it though - not yet. He had a fight to win. He grabbed the side, before yanking out his keyblade, blancing himself by planting his feet along the edge. "THUNADAGA!"

Bolts of lightning raced from the 'skies' scorcing the land that Ven,, and only Ven, stood on. Sora still hung from the side, waiting for a comfortmation of hitting the other.


Terra continued to watch from the shadows, ebfore he stepped from the trees, listening to Roxas as he cried. He grinned in triupmh hearing Aqua's report moments later.

"ah - it is too bad about your lover, young nobody." Terra taunted from where he stood, close to Riku and Sora's house. Both his hands were rasied, elbows at an angle, fingers curled around his weapon that was braced behind his neck. It had a long handle, made of pure wqhite metal, and at the end was an hour-glass shaped hammer - a mallet infact. The metalwork was fine and detailed. He jumped, landing before the other keybladers.

Roxas' head shot up, tears still shimmering in furious blue eyes. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" It all happened in a matter of seconds. He screamed, recklessly, jumping to his feet and rushed the other. "WHERE IS HE?!" He sliced forward with Oathkeeper -

Terra let go with his left hand, and swung outwards, the head of his weapon slamming hard into the keyblade. It was yanked from roxas grip and went spinning, landing with a clatter on the nearby dock. Roxas jabbed forward with Oathkeeper, but his oppent swept under the attack. Terra's second swing caught Roxas in the stomach, and The blonde fell backwards into the sand, breathless and gasping.

Terra rasied his mallet, slamming it down towards the fallen warrior.

Beams of light shown through the water like Heaven, a soft current moving as the water seeped out from the 'teeth'. Long, red locks of hair floated like sea weed in the current, slowly falling down it the owner. Green eyes continued to stare up, not moving, not blinking. Small air bubbles escaped from his slightly opened mouth here and there.
Roxas... I love you...

The water finally seeped completely from the bowl. All the little pieces of sand and rock that once laid in it were now gone. Only shallow water was left, rippling softly around a body.

On one of the sides clung a very wet moomba. Xio panted as he cling onto a small 'tooth'. When the waves came crashing down, he too was swooped off his feet and carried around violently. However, he knocked into this 'tooth' and grabbed hold of it with his powerful claws, holding his breath tight. When the water finally calmed, he climbed up, sinking his claws into the rock. He was able to break surface and keep his head above the water.

His mane finally moved, his golden eyes looking around. That was when he saw the naked body. His jaw dropped slowly as his eyes widened. The powerful claws let go, making him fall hard on the ground. He panted as he pushed himself up, his wet fur weighing him down. As quickly as he could, he stumbled towards his master, falling a few times but pushed himself up.

Once he reached the pyro's body, he whimpered and started to nudge him. Over and over, all in different places. He finally came to the side by his shoulder, nudging the side of his head. His nose buried in the red hair as he nudged... but there was no response. He pulled away and only looked down at his master, his sad golden eyes looking at the dull green.
He slowly reared his head up towards the sky... and howled.

He had lost his master... he had lost his friend.


As Ven watched the other fall from the ledge, he too heard Aqua's report. Already? Ha! She always got the easy jobs! He grinned as he walked towards the other, seeing the keyblade save his fall.

He blinked when he heard the spell being called, looking up and seeing the bolts fall down on him. He tried to run them off but one hit, burning his thigh. "Augh!" He growled as he held onto it. "Fucker! Heal!" He grabbed a pouch from his pocket and threw it up in the air, green majick falling on him.

"What a brat!" The blonde spat out as he walked over to the edge again. He flipped his keyblade around, making the handle face Sora. A charm fell from a chain, a symbol that Sora never saw before. "How did you like it down there, bitch?" He grinned as he pushed the handle into Sora's face, pushing him more and more down.

The blue eyes looked past the brunette, seeing a piece of land floating underneath. He grinned and he suddenly kicked Sora off the piece of land, watching him fall down to the next one. He then quickly jammed his keyblade into the piece of world he was on, making it shatter easily. "HA!!"

Crumbled of the world quickly came down after the keyblade master as the blonde floated in the air, held up by wind.


Riku blinked as he heard the voice from behind him, making him turn quickly to see a very built man... with very... odd pants. Well, he couldn't say anything... his pants when he was a teen were pretty queer. He growled as he heard the message. Lover? Axel? What happened to him?

Before he could say anything, Roxas was on his case. "Roxas!" Riku called, watching how quickly the mallet did the job. Such a huge weapon used so easily. Who the hell was this guy. His eyes widened as he saw it come crashing down towards the blonde.

With lightning speed, Riku dashed towards Roxas and pushed his keyblade against the other's weapon, easily pushing it back. In his free hand a dark energy ball formed and was pressed right into Terra's stomach. "Ah!" Riku pushed the ball out with tons of power behind it, making the man fly back into the sand.
