Up, Up, and Away

[Reno]

Terra rubbed the spot Ven hit, close to pouting but he burst into laugther at Kairi;s words. whoa that was unexpected! He smirked, grabbed Ven around the pulling him close so that they were hip to hip. "thats riiight!"


"Just the seed." Sora mumbled, falling back into teacher mode almost automatically, as if the island brought it back to him. "Didn't you learn anything in biology?"

He looked up at the other, tears tracking down his face. He could still see Riku... laying in his arms motionless. He could still hear the other's last whispered words before he went limp. He still remembered screaming and crying for the other to wake up - remembering clawing at his casket desperately... It had been a whole week. A whole god damned week and just that had been too much to the sensitive man's heart. There were black circles under his eyes, showing just how little sleep he'd gotten, and his ribs could be easily felt through his shirt - he'd eaten barely anything. "Riku is it really you? I'm not gonna wake up again right?" He knew one way how to tell - the dreams always ended the same with Riku kissing him and him waking up to find himself all alone.

He shook Riku's shoulders looking desperate. "Riku kiss me. Kiss me right now!" He needed to know if this was real, needed to know cause if he woke up one more time... that would be the end for him. His heart twisted in pain and fear; his mind screaming for him not to do this. What if it all was? Wouldn;t it be better to lvie a lie instead of not at all?

Ven blinked more and growled a bit as he was pulled. "HEY! Who the hell do you think you are anyway!?" Ven shook his finger at Kairi and all she could do was laugh.


Riku gave Sora a dull look as he corrected him. He looked away and laughed a bit. "Remember... I didn't go to school." However, he was suddenly shaken and blinked, looking down at Sora. He looked horrible... but then again... so didn't Riku. These tattoos... they looked horrible.

He frowned, hearing the request.... but smiled as he saw how despite his lover was. Slowly he leaned down and planted a small kiss on the other's lips.

[Reno]

"you're boyfriend." Terra said with a smirk. He hefted Ven up in his arms, "Spekaing of which now that everything with SORA is sovled, it;s time for you to fucking eat something even if i have to shove it down your throat!"


Sora blinked as he was kissed. It lasted maybe three seconds, before Riku pulled away. "Ri..." Sora breathed. He was really here... he was really here! "WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?!" Sora cried. "I thought you were gone forever Ri..." The brunette slumped his shoulders, looking down. "You scared me."

Ven's eyes widened. "BOYFRIEND!? WHOA WHOA WHOA! I NEVER GOT THIS MEMO! No one fucking tells me anything! Since when!? And I'd like to see you fucking shove something down my throat.... FOOD WISE!" He squirmed in the other's arms.

Kairi blinked but could only keep laughing. Ventus was REALLY Sora's BROTHER!? They were so different! He and Roxas were more brotherly.


Riku blinked as he looked down, smiling softly. "Well... I was thinking about staying dead.... but then I realized that I still needed to get you a pet." He joked softly.
He looked out at the ocean and sighed softly. "You'll be busy though Sora... I'm afraid I'm going to go back being emo."

[Reno]

Terra burst into cruel laughter. "Come along darlin'!" He started to walk back towards the castle, Ven in his arms, satisified smirk in place. He could hear Kairi's laughter and it made him chuckle to. He and Ven were quite a pair weren;t they?


Sora stuck out his tongue at the pet comment - hey what about their wedding?! that was a little more important!

Just as he was about to bring it up, Riku made his next statement - '-go back to being emo.' Wait, wait, WHAT?! "Oh NO you don't!" Sora said suddenly, lifting his fingers, tugging at the edges of Riku's so that he smiled - even if it was fake. "not after all the work i've done you're not!!"

Ven continued to squirm in Terra's arms as he was pulled away. "Don't call me that you fuck face! Let me down!"

Kairi could hear Ven curse and swear all the way back inside the castle and still couldn't help but chuckle. She looked up at the starry sky and sighed. She hoped that she was right... and that Sora had found Riku... alive and well.


Riku blinked as he felt his mouth be pulled at. "H-hey!" He yelled and batted at Sora, hugging him close and leaned down. Slowly he nuzzled the other and kissed him again... only for much longer... and passionately.

Terra did shove food down Ven's throat. Muffins. Lots and lots of muffins. They shared them on their bed. Of course... that was the closest Ven could get to romantic. Feeding Terra muffins... with a 'I'm going to eat it too.... nope, just gonna kiss ya!' attempt.


In Twilight Town, there was a sudden ripple. A silver haired woman stopped her patrol and looked back, seeing a woman in blue. A small smile appeared on her face as her red eye softened.


As for Olette, she couldn't help but give Seifer a kiss on the cheek... even if he was still a jerk!

[Reno]

"Never jackass." Terra said smugly, "Not like your weak ass could fight me anyways!"


Sora's eyes shut slowly and he kissed back, tangling his hair into silver locks. This was what their lifes should be like. Now and forever.

Crumbs were everywhere - mouths were stained with blueberries or chocolate and kisses were super sweet. They were figuring this thing out that they had for each other, slowly but surely.


Aqua smiled faintly, almost shyily. "Hey there fuujin." She walked over to the other, standing in front of her. "Wanna um... gog et some coffee?"


Seifer just smirked. "You call that a kiss wussette?" He turned on her fully, kissing her full on the lips.

Hayner would tease Olette for weeks. 'you even SQUEAKED!' he would say. 'you totally liked it. thats so ew!'



The next morning Tidus would watch from afar as Kairi happily greeted Riku, full armed hugs and all. He looked away.

"Don't be jealous." Sora teased, nundging the blonde in the ribs lightly, a teasing smile on his face. "She's all yours don't worry."


Roxas breathed in, stretching his arms carefully up over his head. "Delshad never looked more like home." He turned to Axel, smiling brightly. "When we get the chance we'll ask Sora for the gummi ship and take a REAL vacation."


Donald smiled contently as he sat with Daisy in the garden, just watching the day go by.


Minnie and Mickey stood before the cornerstone. Mickey smiled. "Everything's back in order."



Not everything. Questions were left unsolved. Why did it take Riku so long to come back? Was Terra, Ven and Aqua's destinies really over? What would become of the wedding?

And was this the end of the trails and tribulations so common to the team?

"Home sweet home." Sora said, placing the last touches on the mantle of their fireplace - pictures. One of him, Ven and Roxas all standing together - a grin on his face, a pout on Roxas' and a smirk on Ven's. One of Axel waving at the camera, Roxas with blue sea-salt ice cream marks on his cheeks while Tidus and Kairi stood hand-in-hand nearby. Another of him and Riku, cuddling on the beach while it set, purples, pinks and oranges alighting the sky. One with Terra with Ven on his shoulders and Aqua lstanding nearby looking panicked as she held her arms around Fuujin's waist. A larger picture of the Disney Castle Crew, donald, Daisy, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie - even Chip and Dale!

Sora felt arms wraped around him from behind, and leaned against the comfortable warm weight, smiling brightly. "Ready to start all over again?"

"Yeah... i'm ready."


Far, far away, way up high in the galaxy a blonde and a red head couple rejoiced and partied so loud it could almost reach Sora and Riku's ears.
