Up, Up, and Away

Kairi blinked as she heard Tidus call Riku Sora's 'boytoy'. She couldn't help but chuckle a bit, even if it was still an awkward situation. However, she nodded in agreement. She and Tidus could handle this... right?

That was when she heard Sora tell the little beast to help. A more assured smile appeared over her face. She admitted, she wasn't the most strongest person in the world...or worlds. Riku did have to protect her 90% of the time when she was taking him to Sora.
But...but she was a princess right!? She wasn't suppose to be a fighter.

She should tell that to Minnie.

Xio yipped and watched as Sora ran off. His ears turned back to the woman and man. He...didn't know these people but if Sora said they needed help, he'd help them! He got into stance and blew some fire at some of the Heartless around Kairi, helping her out a bit more since well... a lead pipe was hardly a weapon against Heartless.


Axel blinked as he heard the voice from afar, but the minute he looked around, he was almost pushed into the stormy sea by someone zooming pass. "Whoa!" He yelped as he leaned back but caught his balance just in time. His eyes focused on the brunette who was almost half way across to the island.

HOW DID HE LEARN HOW TO DO THAT!?

There was never a dull moment with Sora he guessed... but his other half was the same way. He grinned but only blinked when he noticed that Roxas was gone from his side. Come on! He looked to see that Roxas was almost off the beach already. "WAIT UP!" The pyro yelled as he started to moving his extremely long legs after his lover.


A small ring of fire surrounded the three who were now surrounded by Heartless. Unfortunately, Xio didn't have the amazing strength that his master had when it came to making a large and vast wall of flames... but it held the black creatures at bay while Tidus and Kairi attacked with their long distance weapons.

A single Heartless that was on Kairi's side got enough guts to finally jump at her, but was hit in the head hard with the lead. It fell into the fire and turned into smoke but the others grew the same idea and the rest of them quickly jumped over it, going after the red-head. She yelped for help as they were all about to jump but suddenly all of them were cut in half at the waist.

Her blue eyes widened as she watched countless Heartless drop without anyone there to attack them. Looking back, she could see a familiar weapon return to the hands of a familiar man. A gasp.
"Axel!?"
And on Tidus's side, another blonde was aiding. "Roxas!"

Xio yipped as he heard his master's name and looked back to see the tall man chucking his chaks at the Heartless. He figured that Axel too knew better than not to use fire in such a small and packed town.


On the other side of Destiny and across the stormy sea, Destiny Island was engulfed with yellow eyed monsters. Unlike the mainland that had Shadows, the while Island had their stronger cousins, the Neo Shadows.

Golden eyes widened as his keyblade was used for defense, but only the view of crystal hearts around him could be seen. "Ut..." Riku blinked as the black creatures burst. He turned his head to get the view of Sora being pushed by the angry waters.
"SORA!"

So much for a relaxing day at home...

With the other Shadows in a daze, the older man quickly rushed over to the other, pulling him up and holding him close. That was when it happened. Another ripple. Just like the one that had happened before the coordinates on the Gummi were changed.

Pale fingers clung onto Sora's school uniform as pain went through Riku's body. A familiar pain... an old pain. The wound on Riku's side, the wound that Roxas had given him was starting to surface again. Black shadows started to form around his side and swirled around him and Sora.

Now the Neo Shadows were out of daze, and turning back to the two. Slowly they started to inch themselves closer, not noticing the purple energy around Riku's feet. His golden eyes started to turn a dark amber as the pain increased, making his grasp Sora tighter. Damnit... what's going on?

The minute the first Heartless stepped on one of the purple rings, Riku glared at it, his eyes wild.


Axel was having a grand ol' time again, getting rid of the easy Heartless but he stopped when he felt something. "Hey, did you feel tha--" That was when the whole world underneath them started to shake.


Out of the black aura seeping out of Riku's wound, a large creature started to form behind him and the keyblader of Light. When it fully formed, it 'broke' free of the aura, showing it's true self.
It was the Shadow Guardian.
It hunched over the two from behind, staring the Neo Heartless in the face... and then suddenly... it pulled back and extended its arms out, blasting out a enormous roar.

The roar shook the earth, making black and purple fumes come from below, killing all the Neo Shadows on the island in the matter of seconds.

[Reno]

Damn life as confusing. Tidus thought. He was a bit stunned - lions breathing FIRE?! What the hell? Did things get weird whenever Sora was around or was it just him?

However, he didn;t complain about the help. The lion was on there side - that was good. he;s rather not have fire being spat at him. That just sounded too terrible to imagine! (He;d probably faint if Sora ever told himk any of his real adventures).

The little monsters found out a trick though. they started to jump over the little plumes of fire, mercilessly going for his and Kairi's hearts. He swung at them deftly, again and again, but it would be long before they were overtaken.

The suddenly, a blade not alike the strange one Roxas had seen Sora wielding before, skimmed through all the heartless, turning them to smoke. Clsoe by he saw another strange weapon - much like a flying discus - sweep through the ones after Kairi.

He heard two cries from Kairi. Axel... and Roxas?

"sorry if we;re interuppeting." The smug voice of the keyblade wielder said, smirk in place.

He took a glanced at the blonde. "holy crap are you Sora's long lost brother?!" Sora used to make up stories about such a thing a long, long time ago but... damn did was he not actually in La-La Land making it up? This person before him could be his twin!

Roxas snorted. "Something like that yeah."


Sora grinned at Riku when he was helped up. "Hey uh- sorry about that." He glanced towards the Neoshadows, but then suddenly he felt it as well - the ripple that is. It flooded his sense with darkness, all of his nerves falling numb for a few milliseconds, cold overtaking him. But then it passed.

It wasnlt his darkness. He knew it immeditally. The figners clutching at him, the labored breathing, the trembling. Sora sent Riku a panicked look, wrapping an arm around his shoulder to offer both support and comfort. He kept the other free though - still battle-weary of the heartless looming around them. "Riku..." He said, worried.

He barely got the name out before his lover's pain icnreased, darkness falling around there feet. "Riku!" His voice more frantic now. What was happening?!


Roxas stumbled, bracing himself on one of the keyblades when the ground shook under his feet. "what the hell?!" he snapped. There was a lot of powering wafting from the island...

What the hell was that?!


Sora didn;t understand exactly what happened. One moment heratless were leaping for him a Riku, and he was ready to defend, when tendrils of darkness spread before his eyes, destroying each instantly. His eyes went wide, as he glanced back, gasping. The...

Oh no." He looked towards Riku frantically - afraid of what he would see.

Axel grinned as they easily took down the Heartless. Of course they did. They were an awesome team. They had been fighting together ever since Roxas became part of the organization.... which Axel couldn't remember all to well anymore. His heart flooded those bad times.

The blonde was suddenly snatched after answering the other blonde's name. "HAHA! See Roxas, Kairi said my name first! I'm her favorite too~~~" He taunted as he gave his lover a noogy.
He let go though, knowing that Roxas would hurt him if he didn't.

He stood tall and proud, his weapons disappearing.
"Yea, I'm Axel and this here is Roxas, Sora's long-lost twin. We're Sora's friends... and Kairi's." His exotic eyes looked pass Tidus at the red head who was looking back at him.


Kairi walked next to Tidus and Xio, looking at the two. How long had it been... since she saw Roxas? She had a weird feeling in her, as if... Namine... She only put on a small smile as she looked up at Axel. "Haha, hey, long time no see. I hope you're not here to kidnap me again."

Axel rubbed his red hair and laughed. "Haha, yea..... sorry about that~~" He blushed a bit and couldn't help but laugh at the very, very confused blonde.

Kairi blinked and laughed too, seeing a funny look on Tidus's face. "Oh, Axel, Roxas, this is Tidus. We grew up together with Sora and Riku."


The whole meeting was quite dandy and all until Axel pointed something out... and the world started to shake.
"Ah!" Kairi fell forward and grabbed a hold Tidus for support. Luckily, Xio was fine on his fours but looked around, trying to figure out where all that energy was from.


Sora was probably guessing that he would see Riku in his Ansem form... but he wasn't.

When the Heartless disappeared, the ocean waters started to become calm and the clouds above started to part. The large monster behind Sora and Riku slowly started to hug itself, making the shadow auras circle and engulf it once more. As the ocean breeze passed by it, it swept the whisp away.

The Shadow Guardian was gone.

Riku winced, his body weight now leaning on Sora for help. Golden eyes looked down at the sand, the wound on his side just went numb.
"....mm.... Sora.... are you ok?"

[Reno]

Roxas just stayed out of the little 'small-talk' conversation, listening to the chatter idling. Hwe was never one to mingle in conversaiton with people he did;t know - even if it was only one person.

Though he technically SHOULD know Tidus and all that mumbo-jumbo blah blahness.

Tidus was also too shell-shocked to really respond, his mouth working like a fish but no sound emitting. He had no idea what to say... long-lost twin? Crazy red head who looked like a pyro? Hey wait what did he mean by Kairi's favorite?!

Possessiveness overwhelmed him strangely, but he didn;t get a chancwe to act on anything before the ground underneath him shook and he suddenly had a handful of woman in his arms. Blushing bright red even as his unseatdy feet sent him toppling to the ground, Kairi safely cradled in his arms. He couldn;t believe this was happening.


Sora breathed a sigh of relief, but the moment the Guardian left, he was holding onto Riku, making sure his boyfriend wasn;t send face first into the beach and forced to swallow a mouthful of sand. He;d had that happen to himself once - YECH,

"Riku... you're asking me?" Sora barked, concerned for his lover. His arms were around the other instantly, guiding him slowly into a sitting position on the ground - he knew the other;s legs were close to gving out on him. He brushed his hands through sweaty silver bangs. "Ri..."


Then the shaking was over. Roxas sighed in relief, glancing down towards the two that had fallen. He blinked blankly, then grinned wickedly. "Yuo might wanna move your hand." He explained to Tidus, motion to were one of his hands lay resting over Kairi's butt.

Tidus looked up blinking, unable to even respond he was blushing so bad.


And farther away, atop a palm tree, the islands were being watched, dark eyes narrowed as they swept from one grouo, the the other across the seas as if he could hoensatly see so far. They always said those ingrained in darkness had unimaginable powers...

"The information has been gained." The deep voice rumbled.

When the rumbled stopped, Axel looked around the place just like his pet. Was this place normally rumbly like this? Was there a volcano around anywhere? He didn't see one.
His eyes moved to what Roxas was talking about and laughed. Oh awkward moments were the best!

Slowly, he walked over to Roxas again and rubbed his hair. "So much for a vacation."


Riku leaned on his lover, accepting the hand through his hair. A crazy night into a crazy day. He'd take the night anytime. A hand reached up, fingers now finding the soft brown hair. He looked up at the other, a small smile on his face. It seemed as the ocean became more calm, the golden eyes started to fade back into Riku's own ocean eyes.

"I'm just glad that you're ok..." He whispered.


No one out the six knew about the figure watching... but Xio had a bad feeling about this. That ripple... he remembered it from the Gummi.

[Reno]

Roxas Shrugegd at the mention of the vacation. "Shoula known we'd never truely get one." He sighed a bit. Something always had to happen -peace never lasted.


"Me?" Sora grinned, then leant forward, kissing the other softly. "I'm the one that should be glad. no more wild nights of sex the night before days of impending doom and darkness." He joked, grinning.

"Very good, come back home Aqua." A seocnd voice murmured in her ear, though there was no one in sight. a communication device no doubt. The figure nodded silently, and then with a poof, was gone.

Axel sighed and placed his hands on the back of his head, more of Sora's stance than his own. "Eh~~ I wanted to see Wonderland too... and even meet Santa."

Kairi finally got up, a bit shaken from the rumble. No, Destiny nor Destiny Island shook like that ever... but that really wasn't on her mind. Her blue eyes blinked at Tidus and blushed and she quickly got off him. She stood and dusted herself off, blushing even more. "Sorry Tidus... thank you for catching my fall."

Xio's tail waved back and forth, sniffing around in the air. He turned, looking in the direction of that palm and a small growl pushed out. However, the scent was there and gone and he whimpered. Walking to his master and lover, he yipped and looked down the street towards the dock.


Riku smiled at the kiss and replied with a soft one as well. "Yea, I agree to that 100%." He winced a bit as he pushed himself up, leaning over for a second before standing. He looked out towards the ocean, the wave returning to normal.
"What could of happened?"

[Reno]

Roxas grinned. "You're telling me? I wanted to go to Atlantic so i could laugh as you had a heart attack." He pat the other pon the back, laughing.

Tidus looked up at her as well, his face flushed as he scrambled to his feet. "U-Um yeah. Your welcome?" he looked away uncomfortably, rubbing the back of his hair.

Roxas looked down at Xio, giving him a comforting pat on the head. "You did good Xio. Thanks."


Sora stood next to the other, ready to catch the other if he fell. "I really don;t know... i didn;t sense anything at all." He frowned. "It was like... it came out of no where..."

Axel blinked then stomped his foot. "What!? So you want me dead! I thought you LOOOOOOOOOVED ME!" He whined as he pretended to cry.

Kairi smiled at Tidus, giggling. How cute... He was pulled from it though from Axel's blabbing. "Hey, why don't you guys go check on Riku and Sora? Tidus and I will go back to the school and tell everyone that everything is back to normal."

Her blue eyes moved back to Tidus with a smile. "That is, if you don't mind coming with me."

Xio smiled happily as he was pet but looked at Kairi as she talked. Yea! He yipped and started heading back to the docks. He wanted to make sure they were ok, even if he had to cross that scary water again.


Riku frowned and looked to his side at Sora. "I guess... we'll never have that normal life again Sora. This is never going to end..."


In a room full of computers, there were large shoes planted up on one of the dashes. A large chair held a teenage figure. Large headphones surrounded his ears as black eyelashes covered pale cheeks. From the headphones, the sound of muffled death metal could be heard.

How anyone could sleep while listening to that and that loud, no one knew. Blonde spikes covered some of his face as he was in sound sleep, his arms crossed over his chest. He was only resting his eyes from the computer... but... oops.

[Reno]

Roxas gave Axel a dull look before pushing his face away, rolling his eyes. "Whatever." When Kairi gave them there new 'orders' he nodded. "Right."

Tidus grinned, saluting Kairi. "Of course! i'm always willing to help!"

And then they split, tidus and Kairi going towards the school, Roxas and Xio, dragging a sulking Axel, going towards the ocean.


Sora smiled faintly. "A normal life would be boring." He always tried to look at the bright side.


There was a tug on the blonde hair, harsh and the earphones tugged away. "Ven do your job." The voice above him barked. He was a broad-shouldered male, with dark eyes and spiky black hair. Though his face appeared kind, his 'coworkers' knew it could instantly become hardened and deadly. Terra was NOT to be messed with.

The third of their group, Aqua, dropped in like a feather. she was the only female, her hair blue like a forget-me-not's petals, and her eyes a sharper shade. She was the more 'dainty' of them, but no less powerful. She used her 'womanly' graces to get the uphand of her enemy - what they thought was vulnerability was truly her greatest strength. "Sleeping again blondie?"

Axel pouted at he was pushed away but then dragged off. "I'm not loved anymore~~~~~~~~ Cruel world! Cruel world!" Axel pouted more and more, noticing that they were going back to the beach. Not water again~~~

Xio rolled his eyes as well as Axel started his 'cruel world' scenario. He hadn't done that for awhile. He rushed down to the sand, looking across the now crystal clear ocean at the two across. They were ok! Well... at least they were standing, right?


Kairi smiled as she waved at the three, throwing the lead pipe in the trash. She started heading down the road back to the school. She looked up at Tidus and smiled. "You were really brave back there."


Riku sighed and looked back at the horizon. "Yea... I guess so." It would be a lot less painful though. Slowly his fingers moved over, finding Sora's and embracing them. "I guess you have the day off from school."


Blue eyes shot open as his hair was pulled and the death metal screaming was taken from his ears. "Yo! What the Hell's your problem!?" The blonde grabbed his headphones back and backhanded the other.

Ven was the shortest... the runt of the group. Even Aqua was taller than him! Even if he was the shortest, he was fast and powerful like the others. He was the computer wiz of the group and along with his strong abilities, he had quite the mouth on him.

Everyone wanted to know what he was always pissed off about.

Placing the headphones down, he looked back up at the 10 computer screens, all showing different places around the connected worlds. His eyes moved to look at the new comer and growled. "Shut the fuck up Aquafina." The blonde spat out rashly.

[Reno]

"Oh god no." Roxas groaned, giving his red-haired lvoer the Look of Doom. The Loom of Doom consisted of three seperate looks: The first a pout, too cute to resist that Axel just fell to puddle of mushy goo as he attempted to please the other - the second was the glare that made Axel run screaming for his life causing he was in deep trouble - the third, the one he was giving now, was of the parental 'no -nonsense' type of look that made the other fell like a silly two-year old that usually lead to twiddling thumbs and shy blushes as one looked at the ground.


Tidus blushed, "S-So were you." He stammered. "I mena jeez i didn;t know you knew how to fight Kairi."


Sora smiled. "that;s the spirit!" he kissed his lover on the cheek. "I do!" After all, no one expected class on a dya that everyone just nearly got killed right?


Had Aqua not walken in right then and there, Ven and Terra's 'roughousing' could have turned ugly, but as it was Terra merely scowled, rubbing his cheek, glaring death at the other. He would get him back and get him good.

Aqua's eye twitched at the sudden call of her name, and she growled, kicking Ven;s seat violently, making the other spin and fall off. "Don;t CALL me that!!" She HATED that name!!

Axel got the glare and it worked like a charm. He pouted and sulked, playing with his fingers as they trotted to the beach.
He looked out too at the ocean, the breeze becoming warm and cozy again. Wow... it was like if nothing happened.
He smiled though, seeing Xio already board the boat.

Maybe they should leave now before anything else happened... but he was sure that Roxas would think the opposite.
"They look good from here.... do I really have to cross over??" He asked, trying not to sound toooo pathetic.
One, he lost his vacation, two, he wasn't going to be in show and tell, three, he had to cross an ocean, not once but now twice and four, he wanted some sea-salt ice cream.

This day was getting worse by the minute!


Riku looked over to the mainland to see the three at the docks. A sigh. "Well, I guess we need to keep those three busy. So much for resting and keeping them out of my hair." He laughed softly though.. . at least the day was almost done.


Ven was about to start typing when his chair was kick, making it spin around in circle at least five times before throwing the blonde off and across the room. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!!" The blonde burst out laughing, getting up, and stumbled a bit. That was fun. He wanted to do that again!

"Aquafina, cha cha cah. Aquafina, cha cha cha." The blonde taunted as he shook his hips a bit. His blue eyes became bright as he saw the female getting more and more red and finally went after him.

"Oh, and he goes for the goal~" He grinned as he got into stance, ready for her to jump him. Swiftly he moved around her and snatched the device around her waist that carried the information from her viewing. "Nice dodge~"

He rushed away from her and towards Terra who was no in front of his chair. "And he goes straight down the middle! What a crazy bastard!" He dashed right up to Terra and jumped, landing a foot on the other's shoulder and pushed off, making the black haired man fall forward. "And he's over the top!"

He landed on his chair and slammed the device in the receiver. "OH! A SLAM DUNK!" At last he twirled on the chair as his weight made it unstable. His arms went up as if he had made a touch down. "And the crowd goes wild! Oh, can I have your autograph? Ven, can I have your babies?" His hands finally reached the keyboard and he started to type, switching things on and putting the main computer in focus and clear.

A recording popped up, showing exactly what Aqua had recorded on Destiny Island.

[Reno]

Roxas looked at him dully. "don;t be a baby." He grinned, his voice becoming singsong. "I'll protect you Axely-waxely!" But he couldn;t help but agree at being disappointed. He had wanted a month long rest... now he was thrown in a new... 'adventure' and truthfully he didn;t want to partake in it.

Would it really be so bad if he said... no?

He could just imagine his brother disappointed face. Yeah it would be pretty terrible.


Sora smiled innocently. "sorry love. I'll do my best to keep them from annoying you,."


Aqua yelled in anger, rushign Ven, ready to chop his rpetty little head off. She should have figured he;d trick her. Next thing she knew he had her recording machine and was already out of her range.

Poor Terra was next as he was nearly sent toppling to the tile floor by the shortest antics. His eye began to twitch as the other crowed in triumph.

The moment the recording was in the computer, Terra and Aqua both slammed their fists into Ven's head. "IDIOT!" they chimed, there combined force sending the other's head into the desk.

Terra huffed, breathing much easy now. "Aqua, report."

Though the device was great it had a sound range - he still needed a formal report as well. Terra took it upon himself to be the leader here.

The camera began to pan out on three people on a dock, there bac ks to the camera. The brunette was the first to turn around. Aqua nodded. "That one is called Sora - keyblade master. He is the one we have gathered the most data of from all of our travels the savoir and what not - a threat but easily beaten. His weakness is his little fuckbuddy. You'll see him later."

Sroa ran off the dock just as Axel turned around, bright hair visible. "the anorexic one-" Aqua started, nodding to the red-head. "Is former nobody Axel. Leader of Delshad wields fire and chakrams. not much of a threat. He has a pet moomba named Xio that is even less of a threat."

And here she smirked - the one introduction she had been waiting for as Roxas turned, fury in his whole form as keyblades appeared in his hands. "And our little Venny look alike is named Roxas, Sora's nobody - or former nobody. He's quite fierce and quite possibly the one we should worry about the most."

Terra stared at the screen with wide eyes. "Holy shit not another one!" He groaned. One Ven was bad enough!!

Usually most people would growl at a pet name... but oddly enough, Axel loved it when Roxas gave him pet names and talked to him like a baby. Why? Who knew. He blushed as he suddenly hugged the blonde. "You will!? Oh I am so loved~~~" He smiled happily as he snuggled up to his lover even more.

Xio was now on the boat, brave enough to get on the rocky thing by himself. He looked back to see his master all clingy again and sighed. He yipped, trying to get their attention.

Axel blinked and looked at the boat. "Oh yea... come on... maybe we can get them to cook... I'm starving." He poked his very thin stomach that seemed to growl once he did so.


Riku smiled as he looked down at Sora again... but then a dull look appeared. "Ugh... I have to take a shower... again."


HEADDESK

His eye twitched as he rubbed his head. He wasn't going to say anything... he knew he well deserved it. As Aquafina started saying the names, Ven typed them up. Their profiles and pictures came up on the other screens that they had collected before.

He stopped though when he saw Roxas. His eyes widened in disbelief. He looked JUST like him. "Yo, hey! Who the fuck is this guy!?" He growled as he watched the other. Roxas was it?
He looked back at Aqua and growled. "Don't CALL me that!"
