Up, Up, and Away

[Reno]

Chip, unbalanced, danced all over the place, presisng controls quickly. "Sora, Riku you better strap yourselfs down. Sora takle the wheel and pull it back as far as you can! this is going to be bumpy!"

The brunette nodded determinedly, sitting down in the captain;s chain where everything sizzled and hissed at him like snakes. they would be lucky to get out of this alive. He strapped himself in, his figners dancing over the edges of the wheel. When he was immediately eletrocuted, he took a firm hold of it, bracing his feet against the floor and pulled up. The ground was coming to them and fast.

The incesscent screaming of the alarm above him rang in his ears. The burners were turned on, and as Sora angled to the ship more upwards, the nosedive that they had spiraled into at first pulling more upwards. Hopefully the strike to the body of the ship would be less phsyically damaging them one to the whole front of the ship.

There was a violent spark only a few inches away from him and Sora flinched, the spark setting the front of the controls alight. Flames licked before him like a wall of demons and he could no longer see their progress.

They continued blindly to fall, Sora unable to keep hold of the wheel as it become scorchingly hot. The flames were surronding poor Chip and Dale to a dangerous effect, threatening to barbarque them and, he reached out, snapping both away from their duty and cradling them close to his chest, but not before he felt the flames get to close, burning his arms. "Reflect!" he cried on impulse, the magic shimmering protectively around himself, the chipmunks and Riku, pushing the flames up against the windowpane.

At that same exact instant they smacked into the ground, the spell taking a huge brunt of the impact, but still leaving the four with the remainder. the chipmunks, other then being rattled around, only had to suffer poor Sora's arms tightenening around them as his body tensed up, the straps of his seat, pulling him back - saving him from faceplanting into a bushel of fire.

The ship lodged itself into the ground, at an odd angle so that if Sora or Riku unstrapped themselves, they'd probably fall into the right side of the ship. The emergency lights shut off, elaving them weith nothing but the light of the fire to direct themseleves, and Sora coughed, inhaling smoke. his arms were tender with some first degree burns, the pads of his fingers the same, but had he of not done any of that they'd probably be quite dead. "everyone alright?!" He called over the crackling and spitting of the fire.



Terra watched the ship come in, his eyes narrowed. The descent was frightfully fast, the nose pointed straight for the ground. But then, it started to pull upwards. His eyes narrowed. they were trying to control it when he had smashed the dashboard?

It only lasted for so long before the ship began to tilt again. He saw a flash of... something - fire? before the ship collided with the ground, earth trembling under his and Ven;s feet, roaring as it was torn apart.

Should of stayed in Delshad and slept on the lawn or something.

Riku clenched his teeth as he heard the orders of the little creature. He quickly got into the defense chair, the one that Goofy always use to sit in. He pulled the seat belt around him and held on tight, watch Sora's every move.

When he saw the flames rising his eyes widened. "SORA!" He watched as the other grabbed the little guys from within the shiphold and held onto them tightly. The ship tried to spin out of control as it got closer and closer to the ground. This time... the Gummi Ship wasn't bring them home.

He heard the cry of the majick over the sound of the fire, feeling a cold shield wrap around him.
As quick as everything happened, Riku was slammed back into his chair violently as the ship hit the ground.... then tilted. He opened his eyes, looking up to see that the ship was on its side now.
"Ugh.... fuck..." He mumbled.

Hearing Sora, he looked to his side, seeing the other one badly burnt arm. "I'm Fine! Sora! You're arm!"

Dale squealed as he was taken and held tightly, his own little claws holding onto Sora for dear life. When they hit and stopped, his doofy teeth moved a bit and sniffed. Was that smoke? Fire? ON HIS TAIL!?
"EEEEEEP!!" He swooshed his tail back and forth before patting his butt out.

Riku leaned over before undoing his seat belt. The strap fell down towards the gravity and Riku swiftly fell to the side. He reached up towards Sora and called. "Sora! Jump down, I'll catch you!"


Watch the ship was entertaining... it looked like some shooting star of some sort.
This planet had see what hell of a crazy sight.
He watched, his heart tearing apart inside of him knowing that his brother was inside that ship.... but Ven ignored it.

When the ship finally meant it's resting place, the sand around it dusted up and blew, making the blonde and black's hair blow.
Ven held out his arm, the keyblade suddenly forming into it.

[Reno]

Sora sighed in relief, hearing Riku's answer. He glanced back, offering the other a shaky grin. "It;s okay!" he said, indicating the burns. they didn;t hurt too badly. At least not while his adrenline was still running.

He heard Dale scrambe about, patting out a tiny flame on his tail and chuckled weakly.

Chip burst into insane chuckles, pointing at Dale. He had been lucky - some of his fur was singed but nothing had caught aflame. Little claw marks from the chipmnks had appeared voer Sora's arms.

Sora looked up when he heard Riku's command. He nodded, grabbing the strap. and unkatching it. He fell against the arm rest momentarily, before he fell from it, straight into riku;s arms, the little chipmunks pillowed between them.


Terra glanced at Ven, smirking, swinging his mallet on his fingers withe ase, getting ready. This was going to be the fight of a lfietime!

[Rikugurl]

Riku caught the.... three with ease, placing Sora down. He rubbed Sora's burn marks softly and looked at the odd little critters yelling at each other that this and that were and were not funny. He looked around, seeing how they could get out of this sardine can. His keyblade appeared as he looked at the... use to be ceiling. This ship wasn't going to fly again... so... here goes a handmade sun roof.

The dark keyblade went into the metal like butter, cutting out a door. He pushed the metal to flap, looking outside. His eyes grew dark as he saw their company. So... they did this... who else?
He popped back in and looked at Sora and the two in his arms. "Better leave those two here... we have... company outside.


Ven noticed the movement inside. So they made it. The thing that surprised him next was Riku's door. When he saw the silverette pop back in, he grinned.

A sudden blast of wind whipped behind them, not baffling either one. Ven of course controlled the wind and Terra was like a rock. The red dust flew at the ship quickly and with great power, making the ship actually flip over so that it was now on it's belly, the way it should be.


Riku suddenly heard the blast of wind and the ship rocked, quickly being turned over. "Ah!" He gasped as he fell to the actual floor of the Gummi, almost landing on Sora. However, despite the tip, it did blow out the fire.

[Reno]

Sora flinched a ltitle but Riku;s cooler hands on the burn marks were almost soothing. He sighed. "what now?" he asked.

He didn;t have tow ait long, seeing Riku slice through the ship with ease, the new door being formed. He girnned - but the victory was short lived and Riku dully informed him that they did indeed have company awaiting them.

"WAHH!" Sora yelled in suprise as the ship FLIPPED falling to kiss back. He heard Chip and Dale squeak in protest as his arms clamped down a second time. He sighed, sitting up slowly. "what the HELL was that?!"

Oh well - at least it was over.

Terra chuckled, following up with a sweeping move of his mallet, smacking it into the ground. The earth underneath the ship exploded, sending it high into the sky.

Sora screeched again, his whole body slamming into the floor again. He saw red. "OKAY THATS IT!" He stuffed the little chipmunks into his pockets despite their protests, sntached Riku's arms. and then as the ship began to descend, with a mighty kick lifted off from the floor of the gummi. Riku was damn heavy but they cleared the ship and he sharply glided to the ground. Once they were near enough he let go of Riku's arms, letting him fall the short distance to the ground himself, before spinning his body and landed beside him. Chip poked his head out and scrambled down his pant leg, Dale following suit.

From behind they heard the metal and glass smashed behins them, cruching under the weight of it;s second impact.

Riku was about to stand when suddenly the ground below them rose violently. He was pushed down and winced, the impact hard on his body. He blinked as he suddenly felt Sora's hand around him. When the ship was coming back down, Sora pushed off and they went flying out of the door Riku had made.

Before he knew it, his feet were on the red sand. It blew sharply from the fall but he caught himself. Sora quickly came to his side and he looked over him... making sure we was ok.

When Chip ran off, Dale popped out too and followed down Sora's clothes. However, when the ship crashed into the ground behind them, he grabbed onto his brother in fright.


Ven watched everything, amazed at how things turned out. When he saw the keybladers on the ground, he slightly looked up at Terra. This was it. This whole planet was now their battle field and they were the ones calling the shots.

Riku looked across the way at the two. His keyblade suddenly appeared again as he whipped his arm over his chest. He was pissed and fed up with this shit by now. First they ruined their original anniversary... and now they were going to ruin their wedding. He was kind of interested seeing Roxas and Axel dance together.
"What the hell is your problem!?"


"Why don't you fucking get your asses over here and find out!" The blonde called back.

[Reno]

Chip yelped, holding onto his brother in turn, the noise defeaneing to their little ears.

Sora scowled at their company, Ultima shimmering to life in his hands. He looked down at Chip and Dale. "Hey you two, get somewhere safe okay?" Chip nodded, dragging his brother as far away as he could, unsure of where would be safe. He settled for hiding behind some small rocks.

Terra glanced at Sora, then barked into laughter. "what now? you join a save the wildlife organization? what a pansy!"

Sora's head shot up, scowling dangerously. "Shut up!" He ordered, his fingers clamping down on the handle of his weapon. "i wouldn;t expect people like you to understand ANYTHING about friendship!" he snapped cruelly.

"Brunette's got a temper. Reminds me a you." Terra joked, nunded Ven. They knew what to do. once the keyblades were seperated enough, they could create the barrier and uniformly take out the first, and then the second without much trouble at all. It was an easy game to play.

[Rikugurl]

Ven blinked and the crude joked and couldn't help but laugh along too. They both stopped as the brunette barked.
He felt the nudge and gave Terra a deathly glare. They agreed that neither of them would tell Sora about the brother thing... unless they absolutely had to.

The blonde looked over at Sora... now his heart ached. Push it away... push it away. He's not the Soran I once knew... And Ven wasn't the Ven he once knew either.
Slowly he held out his hand as if he was ready to get something.
"Hand over your keyblades now... and no one will get hurt."

Riku growled. "Who the hell do you think you are!? We're fighting for these keyblades so we can protect people.... from people like you!"

Ven's eyes narrowed. "The only people you have to protect from us are yourselves." He suddenly threw his keyblade on the ground, it rising about a foot on the ground. He oddly enough jumped on it and the wind pushed him quickly, using it as a sort of air skateboard.

He quickly passed Sora and grabbed the brunette's collar. It was time for Phase 1: Separation. The high winds sent him down the desert at alarmingly high speeds, kicking the dust up behind him, Sora dragging from the collar.

Riku blinked as Sora was quickly swept away from him. He blinked and looked back, seeing only red dust. Shit... he was with this guy all by himself now. He turned back to Terra and growled.

When Ven was far enough and now out of Sunset Horizons, now in a more rocky area, he violently tossed Sora across the ground. "Give me Ultima!"

[Reno]

It happened so fast sora had hardly been aware of it. Ven swooped at them at a high speed, and in his surprise and shock, he was grabbed by the collar. his feet left the ground as he was yanked.

He grunted as he was thrown, but he forced himself into a backwards glide, his feet sliding against the ground. He came to a stop, falling into a stance. "not on your life!" He barked angrily, then charged forward, slicing towards him.

Terra smirked. the first phase had worked well. He ran forward, slamming his mallet into the ground the ground trembling and exploded under Riku;s feet.

[Rikugurl]

Not on my life... but yours... He swooped through the air on his keyblade, seeing Sora about to slice at him. He quickly pushed out his hands, making a huge gust of wind blow Sora back. Shards of broken rock from the battle before flew at the brunette.

As Sora was getting baffled, he flew the keyblade around back of him, quickly jumping off and running in its place. He hand reached down and grabbed Aero Maxim. A skid and then and dash, right towards Sora's back. The blonde jumped and slashed down at the other.


Riku got into stance as he saw the other rushing at him. The ground rippled towards him, and jumped when the ground exploded. As he was in the air, dark energy filled his palm that wasn't occupied with the keyblade. It was suddenly blasted down towards the black haired foe before he landed back on the ground.

[Reno]

Sora gri his teeth. Again with the wind! he lifted his arm, letting the rock slice into the soft skin, digging his keyblade down into the ground so he wouldn;t go flying.

The hand did not compromise his eyesight. He say Ven leave his sight and his heart thudded in warning. Adrenline ruished through his body, the battle exciting his nerves. Behind. He knew that trick - had used it himself.

He spuin on his heels, giving a vicious upslash as Ven was slashing down, the strong hit sending the blonde spiraling into the air. "Bring it on!" He jumped after him, slashing for him.


Terra grit his teeth, dodging the attack of dark energy. But jsut barely. Riku was fucking fast!

He ruished forward, brashly slamming his mallet at Riku.

If Sora was getting bothered by the wind power already, he had no idea what was coming in the future.

When their keyblades caught, Ven was pushed back but quickly skidded on his feet. He growled but grinned. This would be fun. He quickly dashed towards Sora, their keyblades clashing again.
Where the hell was Terra??


Riku's eyes widened as he saw the powerful club come his way, dodging it but got clipped in the rips. He though they were going to break through his skin. "AHH!" He stumbled on his footing but caught the tip of his shoe in the ground.

"Ugh... fuck." He gripped his ribs but quickly let go. These two were fast so there was no time to waste. He suddenly slammed his keyblade into the ground, the moment it hit, more dark balls of energy sprouted and targeted Terra.

[Reno]

Sora glared at Ven over their keyblades. He grunted as their keyblades clashed together, their blades catching rthem into a stalemate. Sora braced his feet on the ground.


Terra's eyes narrowed. it was time for his fet away. "too bad for you Riku. you're not the one we want right now." he broke a portal behind him, jumping within. the dark energy that Riku had concered blasting into nothing but bare ground.


Sora felt a ripple of darkness close to him and Ven. He tensed, not willing to look behind him but he had a feeling he knew who it was. Shit he was stuck!

Terra slammed the handle of his mallet into the ground. "Barrier!" symbols apepared like some great celtic design, covering a large amount of area before the wall shimmered to life, swooping upwards and connected high in the sky, creating an invisble dome. but most important - Riku and those stupid chipmunks were locked outside.

Sora was all alone.

Terra grabbed the handle of his mallet, slamming it into the ground, energy crackling and racing for Sora and Ven's. He knew his partner would be able to fly away to safety - he just had to do it at the right timing so that Sora would not get a chance to dodge.

The brunette in question felt his heart stop, pushing desperately against the keyblade to get Ven away from him.

[Rikugurl]

Riku blinked as he heard the other's words. "W-what?" He flinched as he watched the other disappear an a ripple went threw him. "Not... SORA!" He winced as he tried to move fast.
"HEAL!" A green aura ran around him but it did so much. He knew that at least one of his ribs were busted.

"Chip, Dale! Stay there!" He called as he ran passed them, in the direction that Ven had taken Sora.

Damnit... Who knew how big this world was... or how long it would take to find Sora. Luckily the Darkness made him ridiculously fast. He had to find his lover... and fast!


Ven's eyes shot back at the others, growling being shared between them. He felt the ripple go through him, knowing it very well. He really needed to figure out how to get that to stop happening with their computerized portals.

A glint of the other behind Sora and a smack rumbled at their feet. Ancient symbols rose around them and up into the sky. He grinned, seeing the fear in the other's eyes. He quickly increased his strength as he felt the ground beneath them shake again violently. The tear ran towards them, the ground opening and shards of rock flying up. He pushed Sora down, leaning over top of him.

With this, he knew when he'd let go, Sora would fly forward. The tear got closer and closer but Ven didn't budge until the last moment. He pushed the other's keyblade away, jumping over Sora and made it into a back flip. When he circled around, he held out his hand, pushing strong wind to Sora's back so he would fall into the shards and crackling ground.

Ven landed in front of Terra, in a squatting position, his keyblade extended as one hand pressed against the earth.

[Reno]

Chip watched Riku run past, his nose twitching nervously. What was going on? Was Sora alright?


Ven moved suddenly and sora knew that it had all been part of the plan. he stumbled, bracing his feet and tyring to jump, but a sudden gust of wind at his back, sent him spiraling right into Terra's attack.

Sora grit his teeth. "Reflect!" he called desperately, the shards bouncing off the shield even as his feet slipped into the tear. The shield snapped moments later and he felt the sharp rock cut into his arms. He dug his shoes alongside the ground, using his own force to shot upwards into the air. He pulled himself into a glide, moving farther away from the two.

Terra laughed. "He'd running scared already!!"
