The Ringing of the Gun

[Reno]

Sora groaned, his eyes fluttered open, meeting a very familar sight. The base. The headquaters. Their turf.

He was 'home'. Or well he was at his second home. His first home was, of course, the home he had with his family. They knew nothing of this life though. The life he led with the gang.

He struggled to sit up and gasped sharply at a sudden pain, falling back to the worn-out bed. He gripped onto his side tightly, gritting his teeth. What the hell-

oh yeah. Hatori.

He shut his eyes, groaning miserably as he remembered the account.

Flashback

They had started it, Hatori's gang that is. This little fight. It was 5 against 4, they were outnumbered.

"Pff, weakling/ If you can;t even protect yourself how will you ever protect Kaaaairi." Hatori said, demonic eyes flashing.

"Why don;t you just shut up Hatori!" Sora barked, punching the other in the face.

Hatori scowled, drawing out a gun spo suddenly the other didn;t have time to react.

BANG!

"Sora!" He heard someone yell as he hit the ground.

End Flashback

Sora looked around, spotting a familar head of silver hair not to far away, sitting on a table looking towards him. "Riku." He called to his best friend.

Riku hadn;t been in the fight... but no doubt he was the one to find him and the others.

[Jade]

" Sora..." he ran over too his friends side worry in his eyes " you... how do you feel?" this was definaltey bad, hey couldnt take Sora to the hospital, so he had too treat the wound on his own, luckily his mother being a doctor taught him alot of things... he had taken the bullet out and treated the wound and bandaged it.

[Reno]

Sora gave him a shaky grin, "Hey i'm alright... just hurts a lot but i'll be fine."

[Jade]

" Your such an idiot! How are you going too explain this too your parents? Or kairi!?"

[Reno]

"Hey it;s not my fucking fault." Sora snapped back, looking away. "And i'll figure something out. speaking of which what time is it?" He had to get home... somehow...

[Jade]

" Its ten fourty five ant night" Riku muttered

[Reno]

Sora shut his eyes. "Well... scratch the idea of going home..."

[Jade]

" In your shape... your mom will freak." he muttered sitting down on a nearby chair

[Reno]

"heh... yeah probably..." Sora mumbled. "she worrieds herself over me too much."

[Jade]

" Ill take you home in the morning" Riku stood suddenly " just get your rest and ill be back later"

[Reno]

"A;right... thanks Ri." Sora said with a smile.

[Jade]

Riku nodded a grin on his face

[Reno]

Sora grinned back before shutting his eyes. He wasn;t sure HOW he was going to sleep though....

Sora , with Riku's help, stood shakily. "Im not sure this is going to work."

[Jade]

" Yea well its your damned fault" he muttered helping his friend walk down the path too his house

[Reno]

"It is not! how was i supposed to know?" Sora grumbled.
