Reshi opened his mouth then shuit it. "But... but!" he sent a frtive glance back and cursed. he didn;t know what to do, listen or argue... but something about this whole situation... "fine!" he stomped inside...
but once he shut the door behind him, he peeked out the little window in the door.
the moment Reshi had vacated the area, Amber smiled at Mos, understanding easily what he wanted her to do. she held the child up, clamping her teeth down in the back of his dirty pants and shirt.
Reshi watched, confused. what the...? Then suddenly out of that strange form Amber had,.. burst a beautiful red fox. it went racing down the tracks at full sprint, three times faster then any human and with a giant spring it went sailing onto the end of the platform.
And then just like that Amber was there again, holding the child tightly in her hands.
Reshi stumbled backwards, and then raced further into the cxaboose. what the HELL had he just seen? without any options he hurried backwards to go do as Mos asked, more because it gave him somehting to do, to distract himself with.
Amber panted tired, holding the child close. her limbs shook with exhastion. "all the time away from chases has... made me weak." she grinned faintly up at the other fox.

Mos watched and hoped Reshi hadn't peaked... He watched her move gracefully, making him actually smile. He hadn't seen her in her fox form since that day he came back to Gongaga. She really was beautiful... in both forms. He cleared way as she jumped onto the small lift and returned back to normal.
His green eye softened and he nodded. "Don't worry, get inside and rest." He opened the door to the caboose and followed her inside. He looked at his partner who seemed shaky on the phone. He frowned but sat down on one of the old couches.
The boy clung onto the woman, shaking from what had just happened. He was flying through the air and then caught and flung. He had no idea what was going on... but when he felt the arms around him again, his breathing became a bit more calmer.
Mos looked down at the boy in ratty lab clothes and with that bleached blonde hair. His eyes... were scary to look at. What would they do to cover them?
He looked at Amber and smiled softly. "So... uhh... what are you going to call.......... our uh.... kit?"

Resh spared his teammates a glance, unable to really grasp the concept. foxes... holy crap REALLY foxes. that was one ehllofa... no it wasn;t a mutation was it? They weren;t humans at all...
"Yeah we'll uh... we'll be there soon."
Amber stumbled to her feet, getting inside as well. She collasped on a couch, drawing the boy up close and purring. when the idea of names came up, she looked down at he boy, thoguthfully purring. The boy, as far as she could see, could not talk. if he had had a previous name she did not know. She stared at the young boy, the one who was now their kit... a 'fox' in all senses deserved a fox name.
"How about... Anlan?" she questioned.

Mos looked over at Reshi slightly. For some reason, he could tell that something was bothering his partner. They had only been together for a year... but he knew Reshi very well. His fox senses helped out too. Obviously... he had seen Amber change. He frowned and leaned back, putting is arms across the couch and crossed his legs.
"Reshi, come join us~" He smiled at his friend and looked back at Amber than the boy. "Anlan?? Sounds too much like Allen. I hate that name" He pouted but suddenly got defensive, waiting for the vixen to lash out at him.
The boy slowly stopped clinging to the woman and lifted a bit, 'looking' around the room. He cooed a bit and stuck his fingers in his mouth. "Naaayuuu~~" He cooed more before leaning back on the foxes breast and seemed to calm into a sleep.
Mos sighed as he watched the boy. He noted the huge scar on the boy's neck with a metal plate trying to cover it. Wonder what they had done there... The poor boy must of been six... never taught how to speak, read or write... he acted like a two or three year old...

Reshi nodded tentatively, setting down the phone. he wandered over to Mos' side and sat down next to him, glancing over at Amber.
The vixen scoffed. "fine." she looked at the boy as he made the strange noise. "Nayu then."
Reshi looked at the human child then abck to Amber, eyes wide. "Uh... hey... how did... you get on board?" he wodnered curiously if they'd lie to him.
Amber paused, looking up at the human male, and autotmatically sensed his unease. she looked towards Mos. he knew didn;t he? he had seen her somehow.

Mos stuck his tongue out and leaned onto his partner, facing his mate and the boy. "I don't like that name either~~~" He whined. He could whine right? I WAS his kid too right??
He blinked as he looked up at Reshi from below. A frown ran across his face. "A huge bird came down and swooped her up." He said plainly. He crossed his arms as he looked at the boy. "Don't ask if you already know..." He wasn't all too happy that his partner had peeked...
The boy nestled a bit more into her right breast and pulled a hand close to his face before falling asleep. His stomach started to growl under the lab clothes that were hiding his very malnourished body.

"you're picky." Amber grumbled. she couldn;t really come up with anything else! "Shiro!"
Reshi frowned, glared at his partner. "so..." he looked at Amber again. "so you REALLY turned into a fox!?"
Amber nodded then. "Yes..."
Reshi stared, then looked at Mos, completely unable to comprehend this. "can you do that?"
Amber's ears twitched, and she looked down at the child. "the poor thing is starving..."

Mos frowned but thought a bit. Shiro huh? He kinda liked that. "Shiro it is sweetheart." He nodded happily and looked at the boy. Maybe 'Shiro' could grow on him... just... something had to be done about those eyes... they would scare everyone.
Mos leaned more on his partner and looked up at him with the one bright green eye. A large grin ran across his face. "Maaaaaaaaaaaybe~~~" He taunted as his fang grew out. "But my dear Reshi, you won't tell anyone or me and my sweetheart here will have a nice feast of human meat." He smiled as he scratched Reshi's chin playfully.
Mos didn't mean it... but if Reshi squealed, the foxes lives could be in danger. He leaned back on the man and sighed. "We just want to have normal human lives... so just leave it at that ok?" Well... at least HE wanted a normal human life.
The Reynard looked down at the boy and frowned. He did look very small, a runt maybe. "We'll have to feed him good when we get back." He reached to the boy's lips, a bit scared at first but flicked off some crayon of his pale lips.

amber smiled. Shiro was a good name huh? she liked it too.
Reshi rasied an eyebrow then backed away a bit when the playful threat was made. he laughed. "alright alright, nop telling i got it." he grinned, reached up and poked on of Mos' ears. "fox-boy."
Amber smiled a bit at Mos' kind actions. what were they going to do with him though? the kit was small and weak. it would take a lot to get him on his feet again.

Mos smiled at Reshi as he got the answer. He really did find a friend huh? He would of never guessed a cab driver would be a kind, adrenalin whore of a friend. He was glad though, he was a lone wolf most of his life. (again, no pun intended) He closed his eyes as he leaned on his friend more. It was getting late but they probably wouldn't be able to sleep. They still needed to report to Momma Lance.
"Hey Reshi, you'll help us raise Shiro right?" What else did Reshi have else to do? Play Russian Roulette with himself?

Reshi smiled, stretching his legs out, not minding that Mos was practically trying to sleep on him. "Hey i suppose so. with two foxes for parents, someone;s gotta teach the kid how to be human." he joked playfully.
He couldn;t really fathom how that one simple lucky drive to Gongaga and picking up some hurt, mutataed 'human' would lead to... to this. to having two foxes for friends, a life of adrenlin rush and danger and... and... a son?
Amber just sighed, curling up onto her couch with the boy, keeping him warm. she didn;t know what she was going to do once they got back... well no she did. get the boy food... and cleaned. He was so small though, how would he handle life, blind and unable to talk?

Mos had expected an answer like that. He was happy though. He wanted to start a life with Amber, just wanted some... relationship relief. He was sure all four of them could become quite the family. He grinned a bit. A blind son, a half blind father and four good eyes. It made things a bit equal.
He opened his eye and looked at Amber cuddling the boy as if he was really his mom. A soft smile ran over his face. She might not be able to have her own kits, but maybe this was even better for her. To take care of a disowned boy. He could tell though that she was worried and a bit distressed. He nudged her lovingly with his foot, as if to tell her everything would be fine.
That was when he felt some pain in his butt. He frowned and sat up a bit, noticing what it was. He was sitting on his tail. Well, since Reshi already know... He pulled out his bushy red tail and laid back on his friend, closing his eyes. They would be there in a hour or so. He was quite exhausted.

Amber looked up and smiled at Mos. One of the few things she liked about being a fox... and lving with humans was the idea of family. Though she didnlt quite grasp the consept... she knew males and females worked together raising a kit. She had to keep that in mind... she;d always have help.
Resahi looked at the tail chuckling a bit. This was all so STRANGE... but kind of... interesting. How does one completely grasp the concept of a half-human, half-animal? In fact... there was dozens maybe thousands more out in the world... if those children in the lab were any indication.
Curiously, he reached out and poking the bushy tail. "Jeez Mos, hiding anything else? Gonna come out of the closet next?"

Mos yawned but his tail twitched as it was touched. He actually felt a bit better now that the secret was out... to at least someone. And a trust worthy someone. "No~~" He said tiredly. "I don't think I'm gay.... just maybe bi-curious." He joked as his head slung to the right, slowly falling asleep. What a night...
The train stopped about one hour and fifteen minutes after the male fox fell asleep. The sound of the breaks made the green eye awaken. He yawned again and stretched, getting off his friend and pushing his tail back into his pants.
He looked down at Amber and Shiro and nudged her, waking her so the could get out of this lousy train.

Reshi stirred tiredly as Mos moved against him. He had tried to stay awake, but the warmth from his friend beside him had been a little much and the wearyness got to him. he frowned a bit, opening his blue eyes and he yawned. they were back... already? He looked around before standing.
Amber stirred, opened her eyes. she yawned, stretching out on the couch. "We're home?" she nuzzled Shiro.
