[Reno]

"Alright." Sora said enthusiastically, glad that his boyfriend was going to go out and meet him. Though he was a bit worried. Riku was one hellofva looker, every girl on campus was going to go gaagaa over him...

And Sora wasn;t sure if he could keep his possessive nature in check.

oh wait. Sora thought with worry. The other kids... the ones who hated him... the minute they saw Riku... the idea made him a little sick to his stomach. He knew his best friend could takle care of himself, just like he could but... he didn;t want Riku to meet those bastards if it could be avoided.

Just as Sora was about to tell Riku not to come, the doorbell rang. Soras watched futiley as Riku went to answer the door. to late now...

His head perked up when he heard who the visiter was. He jumped to his feet, grinning widely and he walked towards the woman. "Oh, school;s been good. I guess. Lots of work but i'm glad it;s almost over." he answered, glancing at the cake and licking his lips. his eyes danced happily. "Ooooh, that looks good!"

He'd always loved Riku;s mom - well not that he didn;t love his own. He adored his mother, but Riku's mom had always been better with desserts and she was a lot less strict. she used to let Sora and Riku stay up alll night if they wanted to and she didn't mind that the boys play fought as long as nothing got broken.

She smiled as Sora stood. She couldn't help but give him a big hug. Riku hated big hugs so Sora made that up. "Oh, I'm glad school hasn't been too bad. I know Riku help you here and there." She smiled happily as she looked at Riku. She gave him a dull look and he gave her one back.

"GO GET A SHIRT ON! YOU'LL CATCH A COLD!"

"But..." "NOW!" Riku mumbled as he walked to his bedroom and closed the door. His mom looked at the cake and nodded. "Oh, I know it's you two favorite. I just came out of the oven. I was kind of missing Riku so I thought since the ocean was calm tonight, I could boat over."

She looked around then nudged him playful. "So... have you....you know yet??" She knew her son and Sora were going out for awhile now. She could kind tell since they were kids. And she was more than delighted about it. She seemed to be the only one too... though she didn't know how Sora's mom took it. As long as Riku took care of the island and Sora did well in school, she didn't think there was anything wrong with their love. They both seemed to be doing their part.

[Reno]

Sora grinned, hugging back enthusiastically and chuckled when Riku was chided by his mother and sent away. Even at 20 the silver-haired boy could not stop his mom from bossing him around. But... she really did love him.

He looked at the cake, thanking her gratiously.

"So... have you...you know yet??"

You kn- wait what! Sora flushed bright red and he looked up at her. He opened his mouth then shut it, then opened it again, imitating a fish. he dropped his head, hiding his face in his hands then squeaked, "No."

No, but they had gotten close quite a few times. and they were ALWAYS interuppted. Somehow! Once the power had gone out right in the middle of foreplay and he had freaked out, another time a bird, literally, a BIRD hit the window and scraed the hell out of him. And just sometimes he chickened out.

Riku grumbled more as he picked up one of Sora's uniform shirts. It was just nice to wear. Nice and loose and just... comfortable. He didn't see the point in putting a shirt off if he just going to take it back off. He only buttoned a few buttons and walked back out to see Sora's face bright red.

"Alright, what did you do now, mom?"

His mom laughed and shook her head. "Nooooooothing. Don't worry about it." Riku gave her a dull look and crossed his arms. She just smiled and hugged him. "I'll get going though, leave you to the hot cake." He walked to the door and looked back. "You know, I'd love it if you'd drop by. I'm not as young as you Riku, you should be the one traveling."

Riku couldn't help but grin at that statement. If only she knew what his life was like and all the things him and Sora had been through. "Yea... travel. Well, I'll be around the area tomorrow since I'm picking up Sora. We'll stop by after school."

"That would be nice, I'll fix you some cookies then Sora." He smiled and waved, closing the door and headed back to her boat.

Riku sighed and took the plates, bring them to the sink and just leaving them there. He'd do them in the morning. He looked at Sora's bright red face and smiled. "You staying over tonight or going home?"

[Reno]

Sora could barely even looked at Riku when he came back and - why did he have to wear his shirt like that whhhy?!

the brunette chuckled a bit as well at the mtnioon of travel. he;d probably traveled too MUCH in his young life. Then again it was fun...

He grinned at the mention of cookies and nodded, giving her a happy goodbye. Yes, it was always nice to see Riku;s mom.

"Uh... I uh can do either." Sora said suddenly his face brighteing. It had been two whole years... Would Riku want to...? Did they have anything...? did- oh jeez should he even be thinking like this?! Was he even ready? he nervously glanced up at the silver-haired boy, smiling cutely.

Riku looked at him oddly, seeing those wheels turning in his head. What was he thinking? It couldn't of been good. He cut a piece of cake for Sora, steaming chocolate pouring out of the cake. He really wanted to know how his mom made this. The minute it hit your mouth, it just melted and the texture and ugh.... too good.

He put it on a plate and handed it to the brunette. He smiled softly. "Well you know you're always welcome to stay over. It's a bit chilly because of the ocean but nothing a little body heat can't handle. He winked playfully as he took and forkful of the cake. "Then again, you might want to sleep home and get a good amount of sleep for the test tomorrow."

[Reno]

A little... body heat?! Sora grinned nervously, taking the cake. Ok, this was it. go home and keep his body in tact...... or stay with Riku and lose his virginity? go stay go stay go stay...

He took a bite of the cake, mulling the thought over then swallowed and took a deep breath. "Uh a-actually, i'd like to stay over. as long as I, um, get up early and get there on time i'm uh sure it'll be okay."

Oh god he agreed! What is he thinking?!

Riku took another bite of the cake and nodded. "Alright... I wake up early anyway, you know. Got to do my morning jog." It use to be a morning race when they were kids. Sora always won because he cheated by going through the trees. Riku never said anything, he knew the boy couldn't outrun him.

He chewed on the fork a bit before looking at Sora. He could tell by that look that he thought Riku was up to no good... but honestly tonight wouldn't be a good night to try anything 'funny'. Sora had a big test tomorrow and he wanted to make sure that his mind was focused on that only.

[Reno]

"K," Sora said shyily, smiling at the silver haired boy, before he started devouring his cake. Once he was finished he licked the fork, grinning happily. "Remember when we were little and i used to tell you i was going to marry your mom?"

He giggled. he kind of missed his childhood. After all, it was sort of disrupted. He missed all the play-fights, the drawing on cave walls, the playing games like war, or racing or tag. There weren;t any more fun 'nightly campouts on the island or anymore sneaking out of homesa to get to your best friends house. Then again, he did get to pass the 'awkward' teenager stage while he was asleep.

Riku's blinked and looked at him oddly. Er... "N-no... I don't remember you saying that." He laughed and put the fork in the sink. He wouldn't be surprised though. He knew that he was attached to his mom's......cooking. That was what probably gave him all his baby fat. Maybe he needed to eat some more of her goodies.

He walked to the window and watched the moon hovering over the ocean. They really had an active childhood. He wondered why he got sick of it. He was getting to that age though he guessed. He wanted to bigger, better things with his life than race around all day. Traveling was what he really wanted to do. Now he felt the complete opposite.

He too lost his teenage years to being sucked into the Darkness, trying to be strong, trying to be brave, traveling with Mickey, making sacrifices and blaming himself for everything. He didn't have to worry about school drama... but which was harsher. Who was he kidding?
Maybe that was why he had a bit too much sexual tension. He wasn't able to get it out during puberty... he just needed to keep fighting and protecting. Now that he was suppose to act like a real, everyday person, it was a bit hard on him... but he wouldn't let it show.



A few hours had passed and the clock hit 10pm. The tree house was silence and cool, the sounds of crickets could be heard outside. Black drapes covered the window so the moon couldn't peek in. Silver hair fell over brunette as his one arm wrapped around the other's. Riku had held back... completely. Sora only had one day left anyway... there was no rush... even if it was getting close to their 2 year anniversary. He was a typical guy though and wasn't too sure what EXACT that was. His eyelids covered his own pair of ocean eyes as he nuzzled his nose into the soft hair.

[Reno]

Sora flipped thrpugh his notes, his eyes drooping a bit. He had always hated studying, it always put him to sleep. he giggled a bit when Riku nuzzled him, snuggling back against him.

He loved nights like these. He was actually surprised Riku hadn;t tried anything - whenever they were alone the silver-haired boy tended to get a little... crazy. But, just being able to sit together in a comfortable silence, cuddling was a nice thing too.

"mmm Ri?" Sora said. "I'm tired of looking at this." he waved his notes to indicate what he meant, causing them to flutter softly.

[Rikugurl]

Riku nodded, looking at the notes. That was going to be one hell of a test. Unfortunately he had dozed off. When Sora's voice came through his eyes, he snapped his eyes opened. "Oh..." He tightened his arms around the other's waist as he watched them flutter. "Then just go to sleep and read the rest on the way to school so they'll be stuck in your head."

It was something he would do. He let Sora go and got up, pulling the shirt off and tossed it on the dresser. Returning back to the bed, he took Sora's waist again and nuzzled his neck. Moaning of happiness, he pulled the boy down with him on the bed, kissing his neck softly.
"Mmmm.... I love you."

[Reno]

"mm k," Sora agreed, putting his notes away, hearing Riku shuffle about. He was a bit worried - ok well truthfully he thought he was going to fail but he always tried his best when it came to school.

He giggled when Riku came back and brought him down on the bed. With a smile he tilted his head back, then tilted his head, eyes glimmering affectionately. "I love you more." he teased before leaning closer and kissing him on the lips.

Riku just smiled and replied to the kiss for awhile before breaking away. "pffft, I doubt it. Who gave who half their soul?" He joked as he reached over and turned off the lamp. He nuzzled to the boy's ear and kissed it a few times before finding a warm spot between the boy's shoulder and neck. He was so warm... he loved having the company. He never thought... it would every be like this...



In the morning, Riku was sleeping on his stomach, his face buried in the pillow. His hair was messed up and an arm fell over the side. The covers were down to the small of his bare bare and small hairs blew up as he exhaled. The sounds of seagulls and the ocean splashing on the shore could be heard in the early morning. It was only minutes until the alarm set up for Sora would go off.

[Reno]

In an attempt to both stay warm and get away from the light, Sora had curled himself close to Riku's side, one arm drapped across his back. the boy was drooling slightly and every now and then his fingers would twitch but otherwise he was still deep asleep.

Until of course...

Briiiiing!

"Ah holy shit!" Sora screeched, pouncing up before falling off the bed. ".... ooooow." The brunette grumbled. He and alarms had never gone well together, they usually scared the hell out of him. once he;ld even broken on thinking it was a heartless....

What? he was half-asleep! give him a break!
