The War that Binds Us (Yaoi! Yay!)

[Reno]

Sora gave a cry of surprise when the whole ship shook violently, sending him off balance. The next thing he knew, Riku was crashing into him and with the added momentum and weight, Sora hit the floor first, grimancing when his head smacked on the metal. He took notice of the fact that Riku was sprawled on top of him and there was a really annoying light before he shut his eyes.

Donald, the only one smart enough to strap himself down, was the only one who didn't get fung in the mess. He held onto the controls tightly, and when the Nobody had gotten them to the safe point, the duck did all he could to keep them steady. the alarms were still going off. They needed to land.

[Rikugurl]

The boy ontop of his friend could hear the smack of the head and after covering his eyes, he pushed off. "Sora, are you ok!?" He asked over the alarms, trying to help his friend up.

Goofy pulled himself up to his chair to see if the defences could be put back up... but by this time, the whole front on the Ship was on fire. Radiant Garden was not far away... but chances of a smooth landing... was quite unthinkable now.




"Kupo...?" The red ball ontop of a moogle perk up as it heard something from above. It looked up and flew to the window to look out at what the sound could be coming from.

"Hmm? What is it?" Soft eyes looked from the long brown hair.

"Kupo....." It kept looking untill suddenly, it's wings fluttered. "Kupo!!" It shouted as it pointed up into the sky.

The chair moved and the tall man walk to see what the moogle was going crazy over. Something large.... was headed straight for them... and it was on fire. "Oh...."

Leon quickly ran out and continued to watch the huge thing getting closer. Judging by all the ridiculous colors, he could tell is was the Gummi Ship... but why was it on fire? And heading... right into the middle of the Garden?

He rushed over to one of the house and jumped onto the roof. Ok.... Pressing his forehead, he casted a quick spell of wateraga to put out the huge fire. Now... to catch this thing. Where was Cloud when he needed him!?

When the ship was close enough, he jumped up and grabbed the nose of it, pushing forward to slow it down... however, it still crashed into a house but didn't go much further. The bottom of Leon's boots started on fire from all the pressure but after a short time, the ship stopped in the middle of the street.

A deep sigh as he pulled his sore hands from the nose. Well... that doesn't happen everyday.

[Reno]

Sora groaned, faintly hearing someone asking him a questuion.l he opened his eyes, his vision swiming with color and silver. "Riku...?"

"Ah we;re gonna crash!" Donald cried. The image of Radiant Gardens could be seen in the window and through the flames encasing the ship they were going to cause a lot of damage unfortunitely...

Then a sudden blast of water tore at the flames and... was that Leon?! What was he doing?!

"Ah hold on!" Donald ordered.

Sora grimanced again, grabbing onto Riku tightly just as they smashed into the house. the whole ship rocked violently and he and Riku went tumbling a bit, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been...

[Rikugurl]

Riku's eyes closed tightly as he held onto the younger. When they hit the house, they were smacked into the wall but... true, it could of been worse. Riku was getting ready for something next... but... the ship had stopped and the power shut off. The red lights dimmed and the alarm faded.

Leon coughed from the smoke that bellowed out of the ship's underside. Good thing he was awake... it was almost midnight.

"Kupu...?" The moogle flew out from the house next to the ship as flew over to see what had happened. Leon slowly walked to the hatch door and opened it. Looking inside was pitch black. "Is everyone ok in here?"

[Reno]

Sora groaned again, shutting his eyes. there was nothing too see anymore and his head was spinning.

Donald coughed a bit, then looked up. It was too dark too see much but he recognized that voice. "Leon!"

"Leon?" Sora repeated, twitching a bit in Riku's arms.

[Rikugurl]

"Donald? Sora?" The man answered as he looked around in the darkness of the ship. Flashlight?

"Kupo" The moogle flew over and the ball ontop its head flashed a dim light. That was a bit better, enough to see everyone jumbled on the ground. He walked in, followed by the flying creature and helped Goofy and Donald up off the floor since they were the closest.

Riku cradled Sora in the corner of the wall that they had smacked into. The silver hair fell over the brunette's shoulders and a small drop of blood fell on the younger's neck. The ocena eyes opened to see some sort of dim light. Looks like they made it. A soft moan of his sore lip and slowly the grip on Sora loosened. He slowly pushed Sora up and started standing himself.

[Reno]

Donald sighed gratefully. "Boy are we glad to see you."

Sora blinked dizzily as the light filtered in and he could suddenly see again. His vision was a little blurry and his head was still pounding but it wasn't like he hadn;t smacked his head before...

Something wet hit his neck just as Riku was pushing him away. what the- Sora touched it with his bare hand and when he looked at his fingertips all he could see was red. Blood? his eyes widened and he looked at the other. "Riku!" the boy cried in alarm.

[Rikugurl]

Leon nodded. "I wish I could sat the same thing...." With the alarmed shout, he looked over at where it came from. Riku? Wasn't that the guy Sora was looking for awhile ago? Looks like he found him.

Riku looked up and smiled softly. "Don't worry... just a cut lip." He nodded and slowly got up, towering over the younger one. He looked through his silver hair to see the other male. "Please tell me you have some beds for us?"

Leon nodded and smile. "Of course, come on, I'll get you guys settled." He said as he started to lead them out.

Goofy rubbed his head that had quite a bump on. "Boy, I'm glad we made it in one piece."


What a pretty shooting star....

[Reno]

Sora sighed in relieve. and here he though his friend was seriously hurt. Sora stood slowly, rubbing the back of his head gingerly. a bad bump was forming but otherwise... he seemed okay.

"Yeah me too." Donald said, agreeing with the knight. "this is why i said repairs were a good idea but no one ever listens to me!"

All four of them were trekking out of the wreckage carefully. That was when both Sora and Roxas heard Axel. Sora sighed. this night was just going to keep on going. Axel?

You just think it's pretty because it's on fire. Roxas murmured tiredly. gonna appear this time? Or would you rather we find a more secluded spot first?

hey wait don't get a say in this? Sora thoughfully grumbled.

Leon lead them to a house not to far away from the old research center. It was where Aeris had set up an aid for the future war that Mickey had warned them about. It wasn't close to done, but it was good enough for the four to rest for the night. He opened the door and flicked on the lights.

Rows of cots lined the long building and of course... since Aeris set it up, there were tons of flowers around. "This will do I hope? The research center.... I mean... Merlin's house has been turned back into an.... old person's home." He grinned. "The research center is at the castle now. So if you need anything, go ask Merlin for now. We'll talk more about... the damages tomorrow."

Riku walked out behind Sora and almost fell over him as the boy suddenly stopped. His brows lowered as he watched his friend seem to fight with himself again. Oh no.... not Axel again. He was so tired...



You look tired... you should get some rest....
Some fire danced from atop a house down the street and seemed to bounce from one to another away from the crash site.

[Reno]

Donald nodded in understanding before he jovially hopped onto one of the cots, nuzzling himself down into it. "ahh a bed, lovely."

Sora's eyes turned back towards the town before him.

but i want to see you... Roxas whispered. now.

Sora frowned, feeling sympathetic for his Nobody. it was like what happened with him and Riku... being split apart from your best friend for so long it really did hurt. And the chance to see that person again... pushed anything else out of your mind even sleep.

[Rikugurl]

Goofy joined happily into rushing to a cot and cuddling into it. "Thanks a lot Leon!"

"You're... welcome." This really wasn't expected but he could ask tomorrow. He looked back to see the other two just standing there. "Umm... I'll see you two in the morning." He waved as he and the moogle headed back to Merlins house to pick up some last things to bring to the castle.

Riku continued to watch, seeing Sora's eyes change. "Are you and Roxas ok?" He asked softly.

There was no reply from the pyro Nobody as the flame disappeared.

[Reno]

Axel? Axel! Roxas cried in despair, hoping for the other to respond. Sora, Sora he;s here please we have to find him!

Sora frowned, then turned to Riku, hearing the question. "Roxas wants to go looking for him." And truthfully, Sora wasn't heartless enough to deny him.

[Rikugurl]

The older boy sigh heavily, stairing at Sora with heavy eyes. "Sora... I'm exhausted...." He looked down and shook his head. "Remember... they're not real. They.... they don't even exist."

Mickey taught him that... though he always questioned... that if they weren't real... than how could they cause so much damage. How could they appear and kill someone? You can't kill someone if you don't exist... right?

[Reno]

what! how dare you! argh! say that to my face you damn princess! we;re real! we ARE! Roxas raged within.

calm down... Sora murmured tiredly, before pushing Riku in the direction of the cots. "Go to bed. jsut give us one hour and then we'll be back ok." he gave his friend a wave before hurrying back towards town.

he understood completely though. that desperate need to search for someone even if it was hopeless, the desperate wanting to be close to someone you deeply cared about and the pain it left behidn when none of it came true. he needed to do this, for both his and Roxas mental well-being.

he searched every nook and cranny of every world he;d been on for Riku... and now he and Roxas would do the same for Axel.
