The War that Binds Us (Yaoi! Yay!)

Axel smiled wide at the feeling. It had been so long since he last fel something beating in his chest. Emotions took over and he no longer felt so... empty.

But what really made his new heart happy was when the crystal in front of Roxas pushed through.

Riku smiled at the sight. It really was... something majickal. It was probably the most beautiful thing he had ever seen... the crystal hearts floating into the air.

Goofy covered his mouth in excitement. How beautiful. Mickey would be so proud.



Once all the crystal hearts had found their Nobodies, the doors to the Kingdom closed and it returned to it's natural state. It was hard to escape the happy and joyous sound of the people below.

[Reno]

Roxas shut his eyes as the heart entered him, shattering the keyblades in his hands and taking away the clothes he wore. Faintly he felt something in his being break away, but was unable to place what...

when he could look at himself again, he recognized the getup as the twilight town clothes. his skin had darkened a bit, no longer so pale.

But the best thing of all was the thump-thump, of his own ehart beating in his chest, and his own emotions, his own mind, his very life in his grasp.

He looked owards Axel again, and this time hie breath really did catch, tears in his eyes and the widest grin he;ld ever produced on his face. "Axel." because, even with Sora;s heart he had never felt so... so... so in love.


Sora clapped, Donald cheered. it was perfect! everyone had reutrned. they had done their job they had saved so many!!!

But then, Sora suddenly stopped, swaying a bit, before catching himself on the window sill. Something in his heart gave a violent tug. "Roxas...?" He could no longer feel his nobody. Roxas' memories, the one he had left behind in Sora's care, were fading fast, his emotions his demenaer his very being... it was like he had left Sora...

Axel smiled more at Roxas as the door closed. For once, one of his plans worked... and he didn't want to blow his own trumpet but he was proud of himself that... he had done something so noble. He was indeed... not like the other Nobodies. And... well... the word Nobody could no longer be put anywhere near him. He was a Somebody now.
He walked closer to Roxas and hugged him tightly. Words he could now say unlike before came to mind... and he was going to use them everyday.

He closed his eyes, tears ran down his cheeks for the first time. "I love you..."


Riku just crossed his arms and watched but stopped as he saw Ruki fall forward. "Sora!" He took the boy's waist, making sure he wouldn't fall to the witch's same doom. "Are you ok??"

Goofy looked too, worried. "Gwash.... Sora?" He hoped nothing bad would happen now that Sora kinda... lost his soul in a way.

[Reno]

Roxas hugged him back, his arms tightening around Axel. the moment the red-head uttered those words though... Roxas also began to cry. "I love you too." he said, meaning every damn word of it. He staied there, content to be in Axel's arms forever...

He laughed suddenly. "it;s funny... i'm so happy, so why am i crying?"


"Sora?" Donald inquired, instantly worried. Now that Roxas was gone... was Sora going to be ok? "You alright?"

Sora put his hand on Riku's shoulder, using the other's support to balance himself. "Y-yeah... i uh... i think so... i feel really odd... a... a little dizzy." Everything that he and Roxas were was leaving him... and the whirlwind was making him sick. he stumbled again. "Uh... Ri help me sit down..."

Axel blinked, thinking a bit. "Maybe you're broken." He said plainly, bu of course, as a joke. Softly pulling the other away, he smiled down at him. "You're not mad at me anymore right?"

Riku held onto Sora tightly as he helped him sit down on the floor. He didn't want something bad to happen to him. Maybe... he and Roxas just couldn't be split. He wondered if the Nobody would make a sacrifice if that was true...

[Reno]

He shook his head,. "How could i be mad?" he smiled. "It worked... didn't it? Everything's okay now..."


Sora mumbled a thanks before before his eyes, trying to make the room stop spinning. It didn;t really help, because his brain still felt like it was swirling kind of like that feeling you got when you were too tired.

Axel smiled. "See, I did something good for once!" He puffed his chest out happily.

Goofy frowned and pushed his head out the window, looking up at the Kingdom. Putting his hands cupped around his mouth, he yelled at the two by the door. "HEY YOU GUYS! DO YA THINK YA CAN COME DOWN HERE!? THERE'S SOMETHIN WRONG WITH SORA!"

Axel blinked as he heard a voice coming from below. "Huh?"

Riku frowned as he rubbed Sora's hard softly. "It's going to be ok Sora..." He didn't know if that was true, but he was going to make sure it would be.

[Reno]

Roxass chuckled a bit, as Axel was acting all arrogant, but he turned around hearing Goofy's ell. Sora? Oh... Sora! "i forgot!" How could he forget... this was probably hurting Sora a lot more then himself... He grabbed Axel's arm and started tugging him away, back towards the direction of where their friends were.

Friends... he had friends...

Donald frowned, padding over to the two boys, looking Sora up and down. was he going to be ok... truly?

"I'm ok Ri." Sora murmured, sounding a little tipsy. "I just... gotta get used to this."

Axel blinked as he was suddenly taken and dragged. "O---ok" He walked down the stairs and back to the top room where he hadn't been before. Sure enough, the three were grouped around the forth. Sora.

Goofy looked up and smiled. At least they heard him. He had to blink though. For some reason, the two Nobodies looked different. Wait... they weren't Nobodies anymore.

[Reno]

Roxas frowned. the moment he saw his former Somebody he let go of Axel and hurried to the brunette's side. he kneeled in front of him. "Sora? What;s wrong?" he hated that he had to ASK that question... when he was with Sora he just automatically knew...

Sora's eyes opened, blue eyes staring into blue. The keyblader could already see it... how happy Roxas was how different... he wasn;t going to take this away from him, not after he promised held do everything he could to help! The brunette grinned cheerfully. "Nothing i'm perfectly fine!"

Roxas' eyes narrowed. "oh, i'm supposed to believe that?!"

Axel walked over too, looking down at the not so well hero.

Riku frowned and hit Sora. "You're not fine..."

Goofy nodded. "Ya couldn't hardly stand a minute ago Sora..."

[Reno]

Sora pouted at both Riku and Goofy. "Stand? i can stand!"

"Sora," Donald started warningly, but he knew the brunette when he wasd determined.

Sora pulled away from Riku and got to his feet. He swayed when the world span. "Whoa..."

Roxas looked up at him concerned, then stood as well. "Sora..."

Axel frowned a bit, watching. This wasn't good. Not at all. "Maybe he just has to get use to it?"

Riku was still concerned.... he had departed from his soul, but he seemed to be the same. "Sora... are you sure you'll be ok?"

Goofy too was concerned. Maybe the King would have some answers?

[Reno]

Donald looked up at Sora, worried still. "I don;t know how much i like this..."

Sora nodded. "i'm going to be fine!" he grinned. He looked at Roxas, but he could see the other was not easily convinced. "What do i have to do? dance?!"

"oh god please no." Roxas said.

"Hey i dance just fine!" Sora complained.

Riku blinked and stood, wrapping is arm around Sora's shoulders. "I'm sure he'll be fine. We should just stop by the Disney Castle before we head back home."

Goofy nodded. "That was just what I was thinkin! Ya took the words right outta my mouth~"

Riku looked at Roxas and Axel, smiling a bit, seeing how different they looked with hearts. Well... not really different... but there was something there. They seemed to... shine really.
"So... umm... what are you guys going to do now?" He looked down at all the people in the city who were all talking amongst themselves. He wondered... if this place was called The World That Never Was... why was it still here?
He looked back at Axel and pointed at him. "I mean... where are all these people going to go? You are still their leader right? Where you going to put them all?"

Axel blinked and moved back a bit. "Huh, wha? My people??" He rubbed his neck and looked for Roxas for some help.
