Riku nodded. "Me and Sora were the only kids on Destiny Island for a long time. We were born there, which was rare since no one else was. Everyone was from the main land that we didn't even know about until a few years ago." He paused and looked down at the duck. "I just have a feeling that me and Sora have a strong connection when it comes to our destiny. Why else would it be called Destiny Island?"
Once Sora reached the top of the tower, some Dusk were seen gathered around the edge of it. They looked back at Sora, doing that weird stand of theirs.

Donald tilted his head but nodded. "i suppose that makes sense."
Sora blinked, laughing a little nervously, and waved. "heya." he wondered if they would attack... "any of you guys seen Axel?"

He shrugged, looking down. "Well... I guess it makes sense to me." He rubbed his hair, some more dirk coming out of it.
The Dusk looked at each other then back at Sora, a sign that they didn't know what he was talking about. Who was Axel?
Axel was the one sitting over the edge that they were in front of, but of course they didn't know his name.
Axel summoned them there. He didn't feel like being found...

Donald only chuckled, before hopping onto the computer chair/. "well now what do we do?"
"right... i'm talking to dusks now." Sora sighed, rubbing the back of his head.
Sora?
"mm?"
He's behind them.
"Oh really?" Sora said. to anyone else, this conversation was strange, like Sora was talking to himself. he nodded, walking towards the dusks. "Could you all uh... step aside please?" he doubted they;d listen to him...

Riku sat on the steps. "I guess just wait." He sighed softly and yawned. This place was pretty boring.
The Dusk looked at each other again then back at Sora. Being Sora, they didn't know who this was, and weren't sure to attack or not. However, when Sora came closer, they felt threatened, seeing that Sora's keyblade had appeared.
Quickly they started to swarm the boy.
"Leave him alone...." A soft voice came through the mess of gray and white. As soon as that was said, they did what they were commanded and disappeared.
Axel was indeed there sitting over the edge. A blue ice cream dripped down towards the town floor as he just held it dully.

Donald sighed. "oh yeah that sounds like fun."
"thanks." Sora said with a soft chuckle, before he walked next to the redhead and sat down. "Your ice cream's melting." he pointed out, glancing at the nobody. when he got no response
he sighed.
"you know for someone without a heart you sure know how to be depressed." he joked.

Goofy rolled his eyes. Oh boy, not this again!
Axel indeed stayed quiet.
The ice cream seemed to slip through his hands.
"I... I think I'm fading Roxas...."

"mmm we could uh..." Donald thought. "play cards."
"wha... Axel?" Sora cried in panic.
Axel!
their forms twisted suddenly, and a pale hand reached out, grabbing the red head by the collar and with a firm shake Roxas forced Axel to look him in the eyes. "the hell are you doing that for!"

Riku blinked but sighed.
A few minutes later, some random pocket lint was put on the floor for gambling as Riku looked at his cards. Man... he had a killer deck.
Axel blinked as he was choked again. "H-HEY! It's not like I want to! Look!" He put his hand in Roxas's face, showing that it was a bit transparent. "I don't know what's going on... but the rest of the Nobody's are fading too. We need to get to the Kingdom." He sighed and looked down. "But I don't want to go if you're mad at me...I'd rather just disappear..."

Donald added in a piece of string, looking over his cards.
"Oh, so when we actually have our hearts your going to try and kill yourself each time we get into a fight?" Roxas snapped before he stood, looking even more pissed then before. "living is more of a battle, don;t be such a damn coward." he turned on his heel and stomped off. "now get the hell up and lets go. we have hearts to get."

Riku looked at the string. His eyes grew dim. "For a pair of royal subjects, you don't have a lot to put on stake do you?"
Goofy rubbed the back of his neck bashfully. "Hehehe, nope~"
Axel blinked and stood. "H-HEY!" He sulked more as he felt a Dusk behind him. It seemed to be mocking him. "Shut up! I'd be better with this sortta thing if I had a heart huh?" The only response he got was flicked in the nose and a point after Roxas.
A sigh. "WAIT UP FOR MEEEEEEEE" He raced after Roxas and looked down at the other when he got to him. "That wasn't what I ment. I just..." Roxas seemed to be ignoring him. Axel was a pretty punny guy when it came to serious things... but whenhe did grow serious, it was something frightening.
"Roxas." He took the boy's shoulders and held him firmly. He looked into the blue eyes with a frown. "I just don't want you to be mad at me ok? I said I was sorry."

"we;ve been traveling - we carry light?" Donald offered as explnation.
Roxas was not intimidated. He gave a glare. "i'll be mad if i want to be mad. i nearly killed Sora cause i was trying to beat up Riku for insulting you and lo and behold the silver haired girly boy was right!" he scowled lightly. "me and Sora might share a heart, but we don;t share the forgiveness factor."
Ah come on Rox... you can;t... look at him he really means it.
Roxas just scoffed looking away from the red head. "can we go now?"

Riku rolled his eyes. "Sure... you just don't want to lose." He placed down his winning cards, took the junk on the floor and pushed it in his pockets.
Axel frowned more as he let the other one go.
"What is it with you people and not seeing things huh? You've been hanging around those idiots too long. Don't you see Roxas? I'm doing this all for you. I don't NEED a heart when you're around. I'm doing this so YOU can get a heart of your own... so you won't fade away. So you can have your own friends and life like before. So.... it's up to you if you want to go now. I don't... I don't give a fuck anymore."
He huffed as he turned away, crossing his arms. The angry look in his eyes only faded as his own body became more transparent to actually see building tops through him.

Roxas stared at... or through Axel for a few moments before he walked around the red-head, looking up at him. Tears were in his eyes though, a strange thing for him.
He suddenly started to shout. "and your an idiot if you can;t see that i could never have a life without you Axel! you're an idiot if you can;t see that i love you!"

He frowned but looked out the window. "I thought I told him not to take long...."
Axel just stood there for a moment before he closed his eyes... and stood there for a few more moments. The Dusk around them were fading exactly like him.
"Well then idiot.... I guess we have something in common." He put plainly. He wasn't able to say the word 'love'.... for he didn't have a heart.
