Riku heard the warning and nodded to himself. He only knew dark majick and didn't use it all too much so he had no problem. He turned to see a girl huddled up in a corner crying. He blinked, seeing a heartless go straight for her.
"Watch out!" He rushed to her and slashed the heartless in two. Picking the little one up, he held her close and continued to battle the heartless with on hand, racing to the exit to unit her with her mother who seemed to be screaming for her daughter's safety. Why the hell were they becoming more violent? At first they just bothered people... but now attacking them? Was the witch really behind this all?
After reuniting the girl with her mother, a bit more battling and some cuts here and there, his keyblade disappeared. He panted, looking around at the snow covered ground. Some random spots of blood could be seen here and there. "HEY! Is everyone ok!?" He yelled as he town seemed silent now.
Goofy nodded as well to the warning and only used majick when the other's health were down. He kept the Heartless away from the towns people as they fled out of the town. These things were really starting to be a pain in the butt.
When the battle was done, he look around at the snow that was starting to fall. His ears perked when he heard Riku's voice. "I'm ok over here!"

"I'm alright!" Donald was next to call. His feathers were matted together from the cuts but he would survive. It had not been an easy battle for the duck mage, since barely any if at all magic of his could be used.
"A-ok!" Sora yelled. there a deep gash across his face but otherwise he was unharmed. it was the blood staining the snow though that made him feel sick.

Riku's bare feet pushed across the snow covered ground as he walked towards the entrance. He looked around. "Umm... everything's ok now." The minute he said that, the towns people came out of hiding.
"But what about the empire? Those beast went down there too."
Riku nodded and looked back to see the other regrouping. "I guess we'll be taking a visit to see the emperor" He brushed his black kimono from the snow and walked over to them. Seeing Sora's gash he frowned. "Sora, are you ok?"
Goofy frowned. HEY!? He was kinda hurt too~~ His foot was cut!
Riku smiled softly as he touched Sora's wound. "Heal"

Sora's cheek darkened and he smiled once the cut was healed. "it wasn't that big a deal... but thanks."
Donald spun his staff in his fingers, watching the two boys curiously.
The townpeople milled around, some beginning to clean up what had been broken.

That was probably the only white majick he knew... but it was essential to learn. He nodded and looked at the others who were giving him a dirty look. "What??"
"Nevermind~ We gotta get to the empire!" Goofy reminded them as he headed out of the town.

Donald huffed, treotting after Goofy.
Sora chuckled, grinning fondly, before he grabbed Riku by the arm and walked along after his two friends.
It was a bit of a trek and mostly silent, but as they reached, and entered, the castle, Sora could hear the sounds of battle one again...
And some very familar voices!
"Shang!"
Sora looked up. "That was Mulan!"

Riku looked around the throne room, the emperor was gone. Probably in the safe area where Riku had guided him last time. He too could hear the sounds coming from the next room. As they all ran to the door, Riku's keyblade appeared again.
The door opened and they were in another large room, full of Heartless. Mulan and Shang were fighting them off, back to back with help from Sniper and Dancer Nobodies. However, the minute the Nobodies saw Riku, they disappeared into black ords, leaving the two lovers in trouble.
"Come on~" Riku said as he quickly slashed he way through the room.
Goofy flung his shield at a few of the heartless, making them turn into dust. The room was starting to fill with dust and crystal hearts.

Donald rasied his staff, shouting out as few quick blizzard spells.
Sora rushed forward, slashing into the heartl;ess quickly.
"Sora! Donald! Goofy!" Mulan called. she had spotted them, but she had no time to stare. she raised her sword, slashing into the many heartless around her and Shang.

Riku continued to slash away until he reached the other two who lived here. "When did this start happening~!?" He yelled over the battle.
"Just yesterday! They appeared in the mountains than reached their way down here!" Shang replied as he continued to fight, looking out for Mulan's safety.
Yesterday? That was odd... He had a bad feeling about this. With all of Donalds casting, the heartless disappeared faster. Again, once all were slain, Riku's keyblade disappeared. He looked back at the other two to make sure everyone was ok.
Shang look at the silver haired man closely. "I have this weird feeling that we've met before."
Clapping. Clapping came from the thrown room door as the emperor walked in. "You do know him Shang. He was the cloaked one."
Riku blinked as looked at him. "How do you know that?"
"You're voice." The old man smiled as he walked to the six. He bowed in front of Riku. "I want to thank you for before. You, Sora, Donald, Goofy and Mulan had really showed what acts of kindness can be like. I never got to thank you however. What is your name young man."
Riku rubbed his neck. "Riku."
"Riku?" The man repeated and nodded. "Thank you Riku."
Riku looked back at the other then back at the old ruler. "Don't thank me. It was nothing really..."
Goofy decided to but in. "So uh... are there anymore heartless around??"
Shang shook his head. "I don't think so."
Riku's eyes lowered as he though.
"Kingdom Hearts isn't ready yet. It needs more hearts. It's only at 75%."
He turned to his friends. "How much do you wanna bet that Axel is setting this up?"
It's not like Axel never did anything for his own personal good...

Sora gave a big smile to the emperor, before glancing at Mulan curiously. he could see Mushu's tail sticking out of the back of her shirt. He chuckled a bit.
"...That Axel is setting it up?" The tailend of the sentence met his ears.
Donald crossed his wings. "It;s possible. I darn well know those organization members ticked us a handful of times."
Sora whipped his head around at the accusations going on around him.
no! Roxas asserted.
"Guys... he;s not a bad guy." Sora said.

Since when?? The older thought. He knew what Axel had done. He had killed a fellow Organization member and used their majick. The replica of himself...
"Sora, give it up. He's not someone we should trust. All before, the heartless were in command of someone who lost their own light. There is no one here that has been pointed out as bad, is there?"
He looked at Shang, Mulan and the ruler for back-up.
The emperor nodded. "This attack came out of nowhere. Shan-Yu has not shown up anywhere. We were just rebuilding the villages he burned down when these creatures appeared." He looked over at Mulan. "Unless you can think of anything..."

Sora gave Mulan a pleading look.
Mulan merely tilted her head to the side. then shook her head. "I am sorry but no one comes to mind."
"But..." Sora said.
Roxas was burning in anger. he just wanted to... to hurt them all! how dare they blame Axel!
Sora tensed a bit, biting his lip. Roxas was gfighting for control...

Goofy bit his lip. He trusted Sora's judgment... but not so much with Roxas. He didn't want to say anything though...
Riku frowned more and sighed. "That's it... we're going back to Twilight Town and put an end to this. Reuniting Nobodies with their hearts is a wonderful idea... there are better ways to do this. And of all the Nobodies, it had to be that sleez ball to come up with this plan..." He turned and started to walk out of the palace.
The emperor looked at Sora kindly. "Is there anything we can do to help so that these creatures do not disturb our world again Sora?"

Donald offered a respectful bow to the emperor, and a wave for Shang and Mulan before trekking after Riku.
"Um..." Sora paused to think about this. "I can try to seal the world for you, try and ward of the darkness for the time being."

The emperor nodded. "Anything you can do to help Sora will be greatly honored. We just want to get our land back to peace and on with the future.
Goofy nodded. "Yulp, we'll do what we can to help. Always." He looked at Sora with a reassuring smile. "Ain't that right Sora?"
Riku walked out of the palace and sighed, looking at the mountains. Once he got back to Twilight Town, he was going to beat the shit out of that damn Nobody. He looked down at Donald and frowned. "I guess you and I are the only ones with our feet on the ground... huh?"
