The War that Binds Us (Yaoi! Yay!)

[Reno]

"Sure." Sora said easily. "we can do that." That's all we ever do.

Can we sleep now? Roxas grumbled.

Sora sighed, leaning back suddenly laying against Riku's side. "but first it;s naptime."

[Rikugurl]

Riku laughed softly as he felt his friend's tired body on him. "Yea... some rest would do us good I'm sure."

Goofy was already there. His snoring seemed to start even before he completely fell back to sleep on the floor.

Axel nodded and started to leave the room. "Night, weirdos" He closed the door and sighed. He was missing Roxas already... He headed back down to the computer room to the chair.

When Axel left, Riku let to a small sigh, leaning on Sora. His head nuzzled on the brunette's shoulder as his ocean eyes were once again covered.

[Reno]

Sora giggled a bit when Riku's hair tickled his neck before curling up closely to his best friend shutting his eyes. "night Ri."

Donald was the only one to make it back to his makeshift bed that night. being a bird, he could not sleep without proper nesting as it was.

[Rikugurl]

"Night Sora..." The other mumbled as his interrupted sleep started again. This time, no nightmares came. He was sure it was because Sora was by his side.


"Gwarsh, I'm starvin'" The dog walked around the White Room, waiting for the others to awake. His grumbling stomach woke him up early and Axel was no where to be found in the mansion to maybe make them some food. Maybe he could convince Riku to make them something once he awoke.

The silver haired boy' head was now on Sora's lap. It was a lot less bony than his shoulder. The silver stains flew as his breath pushed out and returned as he inhaled.

[Reno]

Sora watched Riku sleep with half-lidded eyes. he had woken up with his back to the wall and a lapful of his best friend. He smiled softly, the soft morning lights playing with the silver hair, making a halo of light around his head.

Donald was still fast asleep, and Goofy was gone, exploring most likely... and Axel was somewhere...

Sora reached up, softly placing away the strands of hair from Riku;s face. he wondered...

he grinned then with as little movement as possible, took off the glove on his right hand and carefully ran his fingers through the silver hair. Yep, it was as soft as it looked.

Maybe... maybe he should have regarded this behavoir as odd, but when Sora had an urge to do something, he did it. it was a flaw in his character he supposed.

[Rikugurl]

"Mmm...." A soft morning sound came from the sleeping boy. Having someone run their hand through his hair was a very different feeling. He was always tough and never did let his own mom baby him.

"Oh com'on Ma! Leave me alone! I'm going to be late!"
"Oh jeez, just let me clean your face~~"
"IT'S FINE!" The little boy pushed away as he could already see his friend on his way to the playing area. "LOOK! I'm already late!~"
"Fine fine!" She let loose her boy and watched as he ran out the door to catch up with his friend, a sword in his hand. She laughed softly as he pulled her silver hair up in a bun and started with the chores.

He shifted in his sleep and soon the eyes opened to peer at the unusually white room. No wonder they called it the White Room. He looked up at Sora with sleepy eyes and yawned.

"Hehehehe, ya two look like a couple." The dog walked into the room and looked at Sora and Riku. He covered his mouth as he noticed what he was thinking came out into words. "GWARSH! I didn't mean it! I'm sorry~~~~ Please make us some more food Riku~!"

[Reno]

The moment the boy stirred, Sora pulled his hand away so as not to be caught. he looked up, his cheeks tinging red the moment Goofy had spoken.

he laughed nervously, grinning down at Riku. "Yeah um... food."

Donald just made an unintelligible noise curling up in a bigger ball of fluff and feathers.

[Rikugurl]

Riku blinked, not looking all to amused by what Goofy said. He got up and stretched, pulling in his yellow vest and walked over to Donald. Taking the duck, he walked over to Goofy and shoved the poor thing in his mouth. "There... duck." He laughed and yawned, walking out of the room and towards the kitchen. They had better not get use to this...

Goofy blinked and flailed his arms as he spit his friend out of his mouth.

[Reno]

"gyaaaaaaaaaa!" Donald screeched, rudely awakened. He shook his head. "ewww...." he glared, not even remotely amused and angry that he didn;t even get to glare at Riku about iut. that little coward ran away!

Had Sora not been used to his friends loud antics he would have winced. As it was. he just looked towards the door, looking a bit forlorn.

Guess that means he doesn;t like you. Roxas intoned tiredly.

With just those simple words, Sora felt depression leak down onto his shoulders. How do you figure?

Hmph, his eyes didn;t flicker like your did when the word couple was mentioned. Was all the blonde nobody offered as explnation.

"Hey guys?" Sora said. standing suddenly. "i'm gonna go down and talk to Axel."

[Rikugurl]

Riku grumbled a bit as he took some extra leaves from last night and started working on more salad. Hopefully they could find more energetic food. He yawned and started to wake up as he started to cut up some meat. He kinda wished that Mickey never taught him how to cook. Once he was completely away, he thought a bit, feeling an odd ... well, feeling in his hair. He placed the bowl down and touched the spot where Sora had felt. He shook his head and pushed his hair away, continuing with the meal.

Goofy continued to spat out feathers but looked at Sora as he suddenly stood up. "Wha...? Oh... ok Sora, but be careful~"



After awhile, Riku returned to the room and looked around before handing the plates out. "Where'd Sora go?"

"He went to talk to Axel~" Responded the dog as he snatched the salad and started to munch away.

[Reno]

"Axel?" Roxas called quietly, looking around the computer room. the change had been quicker this time, they were getting better at doing that... but it was still draining on their energy reserves.

Sora just laid at the back of their shared mind quietly. he knew Axel had wanted to see Roxas again... it was obvious.


"hmph was getting tired of your company." The duck took his salad with a grumble and a glare aimed at Riku. "and if you ever do that again i'll hurt you."

[Rikugurl]

Riku looked down at the duck and laughed. "Should I be scared?" He snatched the salad back from the duck and held it up high. He was worried about Sora... he loved food as much as the rest of them... but he figured Roxas had some business with that wise guy... he had nothing better to do than make the duck angry.


A door opened to the computer room and Axel came through. He stopped dead in his tracks as he saw Roxas and smiled. "Oh, hey there." He walked up closer and grinned. "What's up?"

[Reno]

"Yes!" Donald rasied his tstaff threateningly, and hit Riku with it. He might of been small but the little duck was fierce.


"mm nothing much just got the impression you wanted to talk with me." Roxas said simply. "oh and cause Sora;s sulking. i think i'm a bad influence on him. too much negativity."

[Rikugurl]

"OUCH!!" He yelled as he got hit hard with the staff. "Alright, alright..." He handed back the salad and sulked. Guess there wasn't much to do until Sora got back. He slowly started walking around the room, looking at the pictures on the wall that Namine drew. He couldn't eat the salad without the fresh fruit...


Axel rubbed the back of his neck and blushed a bit. "Well, actually, I don't have much to say. We can't do much until we get to The World That Never Was." He looked down at his friend and tilted his head. Sora sulking was a rare sight. He was quite the sulkier himself but fighting got him out of the habit.

"With a heart like his, I'm surprised anything would get to him." What was this feeling everytime Roxas was around? That feeling in the hole where a heart should be...

[Reno]

Donald grumbled again, sitting down at the table and began to eat.


"Even Sora knows how to be sad." Roxas said. "i taught him." he joked lightly, smiling faintly. "and hey, theres no reason we can;t just talk about... stuff." he shrugged helplessly. "i can;t tell you how many meaningless conversations that i;ve heard."
