A hand brushed over the silver hair as the older looked out to just spot where this glow was but after awhile, the red glow was quite easy to see. The big question was, where were all the Heartless?
That question was answered quite quickly. On every floating piece of rock, Heartless and Nobody's were fighting each other. I thought we took care of this problem... The ocean eyes watched what seemed to be never ending battles against the two. And more or less... it was. A new question came around. Why weren't they both attacking the ship? Maybe... this was what the war was all about? Unlike Sora... Riku was still left in the dark.

Goofy watch too, just as confused as the older human. "Gwash, just look at them." Tilting his head, he wondered if the King knew about this. When he looked up again, he could see the red glow was getting closer. However, unlike a keyhole shape, it was a Nobody symbol.
Riku's eyes widened as he looked back at Sora.
"Sora, this could be a trap!"

OOC: lol you sure about that?
"It;s not." Sora said assuredly. "I know it;s not." he looked upon the fighting as well.
"We can't trust them!" Donald squacked.
"Back at the Gardens... a nobody saved our lives, remember? It flung us through." Sora asked. He had only been slightly concious at the time, but he remembered. "They don;t want to fight us anymore... they just want help." isn;t that right Axel? he thought. "We're going through, so hold on!" he pciked up the speed angling straight for the symbol. He felt completely calm - for some reason he trusted Axel. He was sincere for the most part - a little wacky but he meant what he said.
The nobodies were on their side this time. And he was going to help them no matter what.

Riku blinked at his friend. He couldn't be serious was he? There was no way they could trust the Nobody's. Even if that huge one hit them through the keyhole... it could of been an accident. Sora just... trusted things too much. With the way that the Organization was close to killing them all at some point, he didn't trust the Nobody's as far as he could throw them.
Goofy cover his eyes and hoped for the best. Sora seemed to always be right when it came to trusting in his heart. That was why he was a wielder of a keyblade right? But this was pretty scary. Who knew what they'd pop into.
Ah, so many questions answered.
The minute they passed through the symbol, they were on their feet. At the train station.
"What the?" Riku blinked as he looked around, but he didn't have much time to think. His keyblade was in hand and not too far away was a group of Nobody's and Heatless staring each other down.

Donald was incredibly relieved that they had made it through safely. Sora was right once again - the kid was something else.
Sora felt the keyblade materilize as well, and he looked at the group, from the nobodies... to the heartless. his eyes narrowed suspiciously. "we should help the nobodes."
"what?!" Donald cried.
"it;s returning a favor." Sora said. he wondered, idly, if he... if Roxas still had the power to control the nobidies...

Riku glanced at Sora, really wondering where his change of heart went to. Probably his own Nobody. He was going to warn his friend to be careful and not to let Roxas take control of him. But... he remembered that Sora himself was Light... it would be hard for anyone to take control of him. He shook his head and started after the group.
Hearing the noise, both Nobodys and Heartless looked to see the four coming for them... and surprisingly, the Nobodys vanished.
"So much for help..." Riku murmured as he got into stance.
It had been a long time since Goofy had fought with a real Heartless. They've just been training everyday... but that means they were getting better and these Heartless should go down in one blow right? He walked to Sora's side, still hiding slightly behind his large shield.

"Well they aren;t fighting us atleast." Sora amened. He got into his own stance.
Besides him, Donald held his staff aloft, ready to call a spell. Though they had all been out of real battles for awhile, their skills hadn;t remained stagnate, they had trained hard. They were going to put up one hell of a fight.
"bring it on!" Sora yelled running towards the heartless.
"Thunder!" Donald casted.

After hearing his friend cast a spell, Goofy got into the fighting spirit. He rushed towards the group and flung his shield as a few heartless coming his way. They were just Shadows... which were surprising... but they always started out battling Shadows. The shield went right through them, turning them into a black dust of clouds.
Riku too had an easy time getting rid of the ones that attacked him. One easy slice and they too burst into a black smoke. The fight only took an easy six minutes until the silver haired boy looked around, seeing that they were alone.
He stood up straight and felt his keyblade disappear. His ocean eyes scanned the dark clouds above them before looking back at Sora.
"That's it?"

Sora shrugged, shouldered his keyblade and looked around. "i... guess so." he grinned. "glad to know they're still a bunch of weak losers."
Donald scoffed, lowering his staff and looked over each of his teammates. no one seemed hurt very terribly - a scratch or two here and there but nothing life threatening. that meant he could save his magic for the moment.
Sora looked left and right, frowning a bit.
where are you Axel?

After the question, a red shine came from the clock tower.
Riku got a glimpse of it as well and glanced over at Sora. He guessed this would be a good time to split. He turned to the two animals and grinned. "Hey... why don't you show me around Twilight Town. This is my first time here and I'm sure we can get rid of the Heartless that are bothering people here."
Goofy blinked and thought a bit. "Do ya think splitting would be a good idea?"

"You mean through all you hidden travels you didn;t come here." Sora asked, chuckling a bit, then glanced back at Goofy. "it should be alright. what could happen?"
"We could get attacked." Donald stated the obvious.
"Well... yeah but thats nothing new." Sora said flippantly.

Ruki shook his head. "Me and the King didn't have time to take our time to save the worlds... unlike some people." He grinned. Looking down at the duck, he rolled his eyes and pulled the duck along. "Get attacked? Oh gosh, that would be devastating. We have noting to defend ourselves. What ever shall we do?"
Goofy tried to hold back a chuckle but it was hard. He followed after Riku but quickly looked back at Sora. "Be careful ok? We'll meet ya back here at sundown ok? Ya can leave it to us to take care of them Heartless 'round here." He smiled wide and continued to run after Riku and the ruffled duck.
Sitting over the edge of the clock tower, a man with red hair awaited. The red orb was held in his thumb and index finger as one eye looked into it. This stupid thing was no good unless the sun was shinning huh? Oh well...

Sora smiled and laughed a bit. "Thanks guys..." he waved to them before he turned around and ran for the tower. He knew the way up as if he had gone up there a thousand times. Hayner OPence and Olette may have never of shwon him the secret entraqnce, but he knew where it was.
He pushed aside the cardboard box, opening the door and slipping inside befiore he ran towards the stairs.
Flight after flight met him but he didn;t pause stride. It was a hoof up there but he didn;t care because he knew what was at the end of the road...
His shadow followed his every step, and had someone been watching it, they would have seen it shifting and shaping differently, would have seen the spikes retreating and the strides change from it;s hoppity nature to a more sophisticated run.
A pale hand reached out, slamming open the already half-cracked door. someone had been waited for him.
It was a few more steps before he came upon the edge of the tower and the person sitting upon it.
"Axel..." Roxas panted.

The red head looked back, the bright blue-green eyes staring right up at the blonde. "Hey... looks like you finally made it. What took you so long?" He laughed as he could see the other panting. "Looks like someone needs to get in shape." He turned to his side and reached for something.
He smiled as he held up a blue cold treat for the other. "I figured you're want one of these..." He stuck his own ice cream in his mouth as he looked over the town.
From afar, he could see crystal hearts float into the air. They were all headed to one place. They floated up and up until they disappeared into the dark clouds. "Twilight Town is in a lot of trouble... but it seems like your friends are taking care of a lot of our problems already..."
Riku huffed as he continued to slice through the Heartless. Every time they came up to a group of fighting Heartless and Nobodys, the Nobodys would disappear and let the three take care of the rest. They were easy to get through, but there was a lot.

"Y-yeah..." Roxas stuttered a bit, before plopping down next to the redhead and gratefully taking the treat. he smiled faintly, licking at it greedily. it had been so long... but they still held the wonderful salty sweet taste he;d always remembered.
he looked out on the town as well, breathing in slightly. still as beautiful as ever. how long had it truly been... how long would it be until... until he could do this whenever he wanted? how long until he could be the person apart from Sora?
"Yes well, they tend to do that." Roxas said finally. "Sora wants to go help out." he glanced at Axel. "Do you really think it;ll be possible...?"
Donald shot out spell after spell at the packs of heartless, fire and ice and lighning striking the creatures down into nothingness. with his almosat seemingly endless supply, it helped them cut down the numbers so much quicker.

Axel sighed softly as his lips left the ice cream. He tilted his head into a shrug. "I don't know... but we'll try. We don't think it's fair that we have to wonder around because our... old body turned into a heartless. We use to be strong willed people you know? Hearts are lost without souls. I think we're doing the right thing by trying to put them back together.... don't you think?"
He leaned back and watched more hearts soar off to the Kingdom.
"I must say, Xehanort had it all wrong. Ya get more help when you get a good idea."
He looked over at his friend then sat up again. "Tell me Roxas, if you had one wish, just one, what would it be?"
They finally raced into the town square where it was easy to see that the shop owners were hiding below the counters. Riku looked around. It was too quiet. A sigh. He walked towards the center, knowing that was where they would probably pop up... and he wasn't close to being wrong. Black orbs surrounded them and Neo Shadows started to appear. They were going to be in a lot of trouble... but luckily Riku was smart enough to store his majick since their last battle a few months ago.
"OBLIVION!"
He commanded as he held his keyblade out, his whole body started to get swallowed in a black glow as he closed his eyes. The glow grew and grew until he opened his eyes, releasing the intense rays. Instantly the Hearless blew into black clouds all in a circle. A purple heart started to glow around them but slowly faded after a few seconds. Riku stumbled a bit but caught his balance as he could hear some of the shop owners and moogles come out of their hiding places.
