It was that very night that it happend, Scientist had predicted a meteor shower that would hit Cosmo Canyon with deadly proportions, the people of the canyon were already at war with a neighboring tribe, and had done everything in thei power tooo protect themselves from the gian ball of flames descending from the heavens... others called it an act of god too punish the people for the harm that was still being inflicted upon the planet, others thought nothing of it at all.
But in the distance what seemed to be a stray shooting star flew in a different direction from the others into the direction of the Western country of Wutai. Over the mountain top a much elderly man Seijuro Hiko stared as he watched the flying object suddenly crash deep into the mountains of wutai. His eyes had widened when he stared at the blinding light that soared across the skies... that thing it almost seemed... mechanical... grabbing his katana he flew jumping from stone too stone almost flying in the direction that the object had crashed down upon. Could it have been...? No... he shook his head and continued forward.
Then he froze coming to a stop at the large crater the objected had created. He stared downwards looking down upon it, it was... it was j ust... a large round metalic object, it almost looked like an evacuation pod, but it was not of this world... he lept upon it " what on earth?" gripping his sword he slid down the massive crater coming too a sudden stop upon the object, it was partiall open and he could hear... crying? It sounded like a baby... When he stared inside he could see an infant no older than six months with a full head of thick long black spiked fluffed whirling hair, and...? A tail?! " a child how...?" he gave a firm stare then knelt down looking at the child and th odd brown long ail waving in the air, normal children werent born with tails, though, was this child of this world?
The only thing in the history of the world that he knew that fell from the heavens was the legend told by the Cetra of the harbingger of death, the creature cast out from the heavens... Jenova...
" How on earth could an infant fall fro the ehavens? he reached down picking up the child, staring down he gave a faint smile at the crynig child cradled in his arms. " My daughter and her husband... maybe...?"" he remembered how reluctant he was too let her go to be married off into another family, she was his only heir after her mother died at child birth. The Hiko name had died with her arriage, SEijuro stared down brushing his hand through the childs hair " there... there child... everything will be alright" he reasured then wrapped the infant in his cloak as a blanket too keep him warm. " I do not know where you are from child... but I will ensure you a home..." a child from the heavens... maybe this was a sign...? THough he truly wasn't sure... he would put the responsibility upon his daughter and his son in law, they would honor him by caring for this child for now...

Back in Wutai Sosuke stared off from hsi room at the second story of his home, The san Family had always been a very respectable family througout the NInja clans and he was its soul successor, but... he really wanted more, something different from what his family wanted for him. He dreamed of giong out into the wolrd, away from Wutai, away from the clans, he just wanted too take Kaname away so they could have a family without having too worry about trivial things like family rivalry or the clans...
But then again... he had just recently married Kaname he knew that he had her support in every decision he would make but children... right now he couldnt even dream of being a father, the two of them were still too young, he remembered the rest of his family telling him he was rushing into things, but he didn't care, he had fallen for kaname the moment he had laid his eyes upon her angelic body, her soft skin... long flowing blue hair... her eyes... but even with his love, the hardest thing was her father... and gaining his approval... the hermit who kept himself hidden into the ancient mountains, the sae man whos skill with a sword was said too rival the gods... Seijuro Hiko...
He could still remember how terrified he was of the man wh en he asked for his daughters hand in marriage, was this how all fathers were around their daughters? But then again.. she was an only child... and her family history was a big mystery... he knew they were of great samurai lineage but where...? Everytime he asked she mereley responded telling him she was a San now... and no Longer a Hiko...
