Rina chuckled, "Then Shouka Gast she is." she looked down at the child, oddly nostalogic. it reminds her, strangely, of when she had Elly. Rina yawned suddenly. "now, please tell me your family isn;t going to have any other medical emergencies until a proper time of day has occured?"

Tifa turned slightly red looking at her " no I hope not... well Tenks goes a little brain dead from time too time" she joked slightly " wait speaking of which... Sora...?" she questioned suddenly " Aeris told me that... is he staying with you?"

"hai." Rina said grinning a bit. she;d already picked up a bit of japanese. "he is. when he figured out it was you having the 'emegency' he tried to rope himself into coming, but i made him stay home."

She smiled slightly " Hes a good boy... im sure he and Riku are hitting it off, are they? Tenks wanted Sora too stay with us... but... well you know."

Rina nodded. "these times don;t give us much money." she looked away. "as for Riku and Sora 'hitting it off' yeah well... they;re hitting something alright. probably each other." she sighed aggrvated. "then again i suppose i should be shocked. Riku has my pride, he wouldn;t 'sully' his dear room by sharing it with some 'foriegner brat'." she scoffed. "i just wanna slap him good over the head sometimes."

Rina chuckled. "Riku;s gonna need lots of time.. but Sora;s amicable enough, maybe it won;t take too horribly long. hopefully they'll become the best of friends. i just... wish it was easier to explain to him why i felt the need to do this... to let Sora live with us i mean..." she frowned, tilting her head towards the cieling. "Living in foster care for four years... makes you very open to silly ideas like these."
it had been a widely known fact, certainly unknown to her children that back when she was fourteen, her siblings 17 and the social services weren;t controlled by ShinRa. it got out quick - that their father was abusing them.... that they had been thrown into foster care. No one could believe it, a star student like Sephiroth? A genius like Rina? A sympathizer like Eve? And a lovable friend like Sephiros? Abused? it had never seemed right...

Rina stared, silent for a few moments. now she understood. that made sense... that utter desperation with which Sephiros had fought to get inside this room, the hope in his eyes the... the begging the pleading. he;d never fought so insanely before... not when he thought all was lost but is Shouka was indeed his... "i... i see. and... is it possible that it is?"
