Magus spun around, blocking the attack with the hilt of his scythe. with a push, Raichu vaulted into the air and he slashed again.

Raichu shot down a wave of energy before the blade could touch his hand suddenly blasting the weapon far out of Magus reach " You can't beat me!" he shouted driving his head hard into Magus chest, Aeris life was on the line... hed fight too the death if it was for her!

Magus stumbled backwards, but he just growled. "Don;t count on that Raichu San!" another wave and fire exploded around the crazed warrior.

He flashed again this time his fist was deep inside Magus stomache he glared directly into his eyes " How dare you..." he growled anger flourishing through his yes " how dare you threaten my wife...!!!!!!"

Sharp teeth gleamed as Magus grit his teeth, but he grabbed hold of Raichu's arm. "this is the end for you." there was another flash of powreful magic, but this time it was like a thousand invisible sprears caem at Raichu from everywhere, cutting his skin open.

Raichu's eyes narrowed as he felt pain going through him but he didnt care... Aeris... his wife... she... she mattered more than anything!

Raichu let out a scream and his body hit hard several yards away from magus into the ground, he breathed heavily staring upwards, why couldnt... why couldnt he understand...? He placed two fingers on his forehead suddenly " youll never catch me... or get the Materia..."

Magus flashed, faster then even Raichu could see. in less then a second, he had reaquired his sycthe and appeared before Raichu. he swung it down into Raichu's chest.

Even with Magus speed it was all the time he needed too concentrate and get away, his body vanished into thin air and he landed near the beach on his knees staring downwards, he couldnt... why couldnt he beat Magus...? Even at this level of power...?

Magus' eyes narrowed. Raichu San, would not get away! He searched quickly, feeling out the other easily - it wasn;t hard to find the alien's strange power source. he disappeared, reappearing behind Raichu. "nice try." he swung.
