Raichu!" Sora frowned following after his brother, grabbing his arm and stopping him. "whats wrong...?"

" I... I see them..." he whispered shivering slightly sweat was running down the side of his head " Adan he... I... there after me..."

Sora frowned a bit. "see...? see wh..." he paused suddenly and that cold chill went over him... the one that always went over him when he saw...
he turned around looking down the hall. At first, on Day Three, he had begun to see black lines and spots. he thought he was hallucinating. but each day... the image had gotten clearer and clearer. the Parepin was being flushed from his system. Now he knew he was seeing these... Aliens for the first time.
"you mean those?" Sora whispered.
It was a gangly thing, tall about 7 feet, bigger them most humans. it;s feet were strange, webbed things, and its hands had five fingers... but the index and middle fingers were ill-normally long. the whole body was devoid of hair instead scales like a snake replaced it. it was a dark gray, almost steel in color. the head was cone-shaped, and the eyes shaped like ovals, pure black with no eyelids. it had two slits for a nose. the mouth was the only thing even slightly human like, but it had no lips, and its tougne was thin and long.
Sora began to shiver. and then the eyes turned on him and his brother and suddenly Sora felt this tremendous fear overcome him. what was he scared of? he didn;t even know what it did... it was like...
These creatures, i;ve named them The Presence, have a strange ability to control feelings. if they want you insane it will happen.
...oh no. This was Adan;s monsters.

oh no... Sora... " You didnt..." she shoved his brother out of the creatures sight suddenly then looked back directly towards it glaring in its direction, he knew that it knew that he could see it... but he wouldnt let it take his brother! Not like they did Adan... he breathed 'they can hear everything Rai... your whispers... even what you think in your head...' he remembered adans thoughts well I I am not afraid of you... Raichu thought staring towards it he leaned against the wall suddenly holding onto his own hair " You hear me! I am not afraid of you!!!"

Sora shuddered from where he had been thrown. he heard the alien hiss at Raichu. he took a peek. some people were giving Raichu odd looks, then they were hurrying past. and when they came to the creature, they just walked around it, not even noticing what they were doing. it was like they had a new habit to randomly weave past nothing... they couldn;t see it...
The alien stared at Raichu, but then it's attention was startled by the cackling of a woman in her mid-twenties. it's tougne flicked out, and then as she walked past, the alien rasied one of his hands towards her. this strange steam came off of her and the alien started to suck it up.
I am certain that they are eating us. i don't know what part, but they are taking away our lives. their victims appear dead only a few days after they breathe in this strange smoke from us. But that seems to fuel them with energy. That is when they are strongest. Note: never approach a fed Presence.
Sora felt his heart slam to a stop. that thing was killing... that woman? "no!!!" He wasn;t sure how his morals ran above his fear, he was still pretty damn scared... he regardless, ran from the wall he had been thrown behind, and ran towards the alien and lady. "get away!!!" he shoved her forward breaking the connection.
"what was that for!?" The lady barked back at him.
Sora stared at her before he was hit by another wave of fear. he slipped to his knees and started to scream, startling her into running off.
It was enough to scare people away, they turned and hurried in the other direction. one crazy persion was bad enough, but two?
He heard the alien screech in angry above him. they were maybe three feet apart. oh shit he was gonna die if he didn;t move... couldn;t move...

Raichu's fist suddenly drove hard into the creatures neck but directly after that he had grabbed onto it pushing it hard against a wall " Don't touch my brother!" he shouted angrily glaring at it

The alien kicked at Raichu, stronger then most humans strength could be, and Raichu vaulted into the opposing wall.

Raichu's head hit hard against the wall he grimaced looking up towards the creature " I said... stay away..."

Sora watched the gangly creature as it started in the direction of his brother. "Rai-" he tried to move, but one look from those strange inhuman black eyes and he found his stomach churning uncomfortably.

" Now!!!" he shouted as loud as he possibly could but got up glaring at the creature, hed keep it distracted... long enough for Sora too get away... he grimaced though... his ribs were definatley broken.

The alien looked down at him, then it smacked its hand across Raichu;s face, leaving deadly gashes.
