Ryten looked up at her and brought his hand close to her cheek brushing it softly with his hand "why would somebody so young like yourself want to go out into a battle field. How do you know that he is even alive you might just be chasing after a ghost something that has been long been forgotten in this world." Ryten didnt believe somebody could survive out in that battle field for 6 years at all it was to long for anyone to survive. That was the reason he wanted to go if he would die he would be able to see his mother again in the after life. But he couldnt kill himself no not at all he believe those that killed themselves would never get what they wanted in the after live... "Ill take you only if you know for sure he is alive if is just your love telling you in your heart that he is alive then i wont take you there..."

Ulrica could hear the conversation and the pange of sadness running through her made her want to die. she didn't understand her feelings not when she saw Noa. no she didn't un derstand at all. so she did the most sensible thing she could. she jumped into the window and landed inside. she looked at Ryten and Noa then took a deep breath, "i'm going if you both are going."
All she cared about was watching over Noa and maybe even Ryten. they were the only ones tbhat were kind to her. it made her feel so many different emotions that she couldn't shut them out. looking at those two alomost made her feel... lonely.

I looked at Ulrica. Our eyes met. She seemed so...lonely. I walked to her and put my arms around her. I put my mouth close to her ear. "Thank you." I whispered. I looked at Ryten. "I might be chasing a ghost but at least i'm chasing something. I let go of Ulrica and slowly walked to Ryten. My voice ecoed around the room as a whisper. "He is in mind. He shuts my anger and hate away. he makes me strong. You need to be strong Ryten. We'll go to space and I promise you.........................I will protect you." I took his hands and put them in mine. I stood close next to him and gave him...............hope?

Ryten laughed slightly " I dont need protection from anyone. I never have and I never will i can take care of myself." He grinned then took his hand away from hers. "im the one that protected you remember twice already it seems." He stared directly into her eyes she was so beautiful an angel to him but he kept that thought to himself. "Im going off to die, please dont follow me I dont want to see you hurt at all Noa. Please take my advice what your looking for is gone by now nobody can live out in the battle field for 6 years..." he sighed and stared down at the ground.

Ulrica had shivered for some unknown reason when she had whispered in her ear. then she looked at Ryten. she frowned then growled, "you can;t say that! thats giving up! Noa is not one to give up! i doubt her love is either!"
she had no clue why she had suddenly felt so angered. it was horrible for someone to say that though. giving up hope like that...
Ulrica walked over to Noa and hugged her, "he's alive. your love must be strong. he must be. he'll want to see you again s he won't give up! thats what love is!"

I started to breath deeply. I could see him. He was lying on the cold steel floor. A deep wound was planted in his chest. His eyes flickered. The rain grew harder and harder in my head. That will never happen. I looked at Ulrica. I shook my head slowly. I then looked at Ryten. "She's right. If he loved me, he'll still be alive. I wont let die either. You must not give up. Someone out there loves you. I know it. Don't give up on her. She's not happy about the war either." I grabbed Ulrica. "You'll fight like my love. Save your planet!"

Ulrica smiled and buried her head into Noa's shoulder. the warmth was caressing, "yeah i don't give up... i want to help you both. i'm sure thats why fate let me find you two...."
Ulrica felt almose lonely again. she didn't know why!! WHY?! why was she so lonely? it made no sense she never felt this for a long time...

Ryten slowly shook his head as he sat on his bed " There is nobody for me not at all... my own family hates me for god sakes.... Thats why I want to die...." a small tear came down his cheek he hated his life so much. Why shouldnt he just kill himself? It would take all the pain away wouldnt it? Ryten looked up at Noa " it is impossible for anybody to love me. Everyone that has ever tried to ive always ended up pushing away or hurting in some way. You two shouldnt even bother being around me... im not a good person at all." Ryten continued crying why though he hadnt cried this much before ever not for so many years. Why now?

Ulrica looked at him and frowned, "you can't be like that! theres someone out there for everyone no matter what or who you are... you can't give up hope!"
Ulrica didn;t know what else to say. the pain in her heart swirled and twisted. the knot in her stomach tightened making her want to throw up. she didn;t feel good at all.

I grew mad. I stomped my foot on the floor and it left a dent. I then took one of Rytens' guns and put the bullets in. I clicked the cover back over it and put it on its side in my hand. I put the gun to Rytens' chest. I gave him a look like what a mother might look like to her child. "If you're planning to kill yourself, you'll have to kill yourself in front of me." I looked at Ulrica then back at Ryten. "In front of us."

Ulrica swallowed nervously and moved closer to Noa. she had seen blood shed yes but not from a new found friend. she looked at Ryten uncertain if he would or not kill himself. she swallowed again but didn't close her eyes. only if she heard the gun shot would she close her eyes. only then...

Ryten smiled as he took the gun from her hand. "Thank you... This way I will be able to see my mother." Slowly he began moving the gun towards his head he was totally willing to do it. He put the barrel of the gun directly at his temple pushing it hard up against it. "Ill have my peace this way dont you think? There wont be anybody to hate me or anything and my father wont have to take my crap any longer..." Slowly Ryten pulled the trigger He felt the bullet rush through his head coarsing through his brain it blew up through the otherside as blood oozed out. Ryten fell to the floor he was still breathing but his eyes where blank. his heart rate was slowly deteriorating slowly he closed his eyes but this didnt feel right to him at all...

Ulrica screamed and started crying. her whole body shook and she buried her head into Noa's shoulder. her grip around her was tightening. she had never seen a friend kill themselve like this. it was so scary and so painful. it hurt her so badly... she couldn't face his blank eyes again.

A tears fell down my cheek. I breathed deeply. I didn't think he would do it. If I had known....I put my hand over Ulricas' eyes. I sat there for a minute, looking at Rytens' body. My heart cracked into two. I closed my eyes and sighed. He knew it wasn't right. Suicide could not bring him to his mother. No chance in hell. I let go of Ulrica slowly and walked to Ryten. i began to take my clothes of and grew my wings and spreaded them out. I held Ryten in my arms; my naked body, and put my wings over him. I put his head on my shoulder. His blood trickled down my body. His wound then started to heal slowly.

Ryten slowly awokened as he felt himself being held. He then coughed out blood, slowly it landed on the ground it was pouring from his mouth. Ryten rested his head on her shoulder "w..wh..why am I..I alive..." he asked slowly as he coughed out more blood. Ryten had gone through hell when he died he didnt find what he wanted to. He found himself surrounded in complete darkness nobody was there at all. He was in true emotional pain the whole time. But now he felt good in her arms her feathers around him where so soft, Ryten felt so comfortable with her holding him....
