Right before her eyes the tree branch was scrapping up against the window, though at a distance in the dark it easily looked like a claw.
Adlai stayed close too the door as he watched her " Mommy...!"

sahe tilted her head to the side.c "i should have tooken care of this before." her orange eyes glowed slightly and there was a snap of the branch breaking off from the tree. she lowered it to the grass. "there problem solved."

He blinked watching the claw like figure fall too the ground " Mommy...?" did she kill it...? he ran up too her suddenly hugging her leg

" Mommy... why are you and daddy naked?" he asked looking at her... sure it was normal from what he saw... his parents got naked in bed it seemed like every night but... the kids at his preschool always made it seem like it was such a bad thing.

Gradd sighed staring down towards the ground, all that stuff hed been seeing... it was so long ago... " That all happend so long ago... why is it..." he pulled at his hair as he just sat at the edge of his bed then something flashed in his mind.
"Your very existance my son! It is a game between heaven and hell! That is why you cant have the normal life which you seek so badly!" Kain shouted at him slamming him hard against the wall " You are not the savior of Nosgoth! Or any world! Your destiny..." he held Gradd firmly glaring at him
" My son your destiny is merley a game..."
Gradd stared blankly for a moment... a game... was that all he was... a part of some game...? " No you... your..."
" Ask the demon that has been stalking you! Taking away everything that has a meaning too you! Youll fight it one day... and which ever of you wins determines the fate of the war..."
" He was wrong..." he shook his head frowning " because... each time... its determined nothing..."
