When Past Meets the Present

[Reno]

"Rina... Rina wake up..."

"nng," Rina grumbled. that was... Eve? She breathed in deeply, then it was like her whole mind was sent awhirl. the sense of smell was the biggest memory trigger. and the memories this this smell was giving her back some of the worst memories of her life. she gasped, sitting up. "oh god no!" mako it was mako, enhanced mako. that sour, acrid taste was already back in her mouth. she remebered being pinned to a table being in a tube... screaming... hearing her siblings scream....

tears were already running down her cheeks and she was lost in her memories. oh god she was scared.

Sephiroth tilted his head to the side frowning. in one cage over he could hear Rina sobbing. it made his heart twist in sympathy.

The layout was simple. a person to each cage. he could see Eve right across from him. like always... she had woken up awhile ago and her reaction had been of both terror and anger. two cages down, Rufus had acted out violently. trying to attack the bars of his cage and Siaki had screamed. Sephiros was the only one to act mostly normal, but even still the triplet connection was making him afarid too. this was... a nightmare.

he could taste it, could smell it could feel it... the enhanced mako... the steriled tests... the pain.

Sephiroth shut his eyes burying his face in his hands. he hadnlt felt this helpless since he was a child...

[Jade]

He was thrown hard into his cage he breathed... the needles... it was the same... everything... the enjections... the torture... forcing the long hours of mako posioning too his body. He thought that it was long and done over with... how did... Hojo...? He coughed out a chunk of blood... hed been forcing the archon state... testing it... trying too understand it... he had a feeling that Hojo was trying too seperate it from his body. It resembled the same power that chaos had... the same one that was created for vincent... but Hojo wanted his own weapon... stronger than Chaos and Omega... " T...ifa..." he breathed shutting his eyes tightly.

" Interesting... so how exactly did you create this thing?" Xaldin walked up too Red's demon form which was chained too an operating table, it was truly something... a human turned into a creature infused with the DNA of multible beings... demons... humans...
He breathed feeling dizzy as he stared over at Hojo... he remembred when he first started... when he refused too kill Rina... because he loved her. So Hojo faked his death... and turned him into this monster... locking him away at the bottom of his lab... stripping away his memories... making him think that he was created... not born... never knowing the woman that he loved...

[Reno]

"awe, it was actuaslly quite simple really. a little magic and mako does wonders." Hojo said. "i have the notes if you ever wish to study them."

[Jade]

" Perhaps..." he looked up at him " What do you call it...?"

He forced himself up slowly reaching for the bars of his cage dropping back down quickly " I need... too get out..." Josh trembled... he needed out... no more...

[Reno]

"specimen Red 18." Hojo responded, looking at the demon-esque like monster.

[Jade]

" My name is Maxwell..." he breathed out his eyes glaring at Hojo " I am not... a number..."

[Reno]

Hojo just smirked. "with that attitude i should just let you watch me work on number four. wouldn;t that be fun?" Number four... Rina.

[Jade]

" Ill kill you!" he thrashed violently but was unable too break free his fangs grew and his eyes glew a dark red

[Reno]

"i see your temper has not changed even after all these years." Hojo said walked forward. "a shame really i;d of thought my daughter could have tamed you. then again she was never able to tame herself." he was pulling out a syrgine.

[Jade]

He paled slightly looking at the large needle... he knew what that was for... his chest... or his neck... " You hated me because I loved your daughter... and I wouldnt kill her for your sick pleasure..."

[Reno]

Hojo grinned. "good little specfimens are quiet." he stuck the needle into Red's chest.

[Jade]

He grimaced " what... are you...?"

[Reno]

"i'm continuing were i left off after my... unfortunate demise." Hojo said. "with all of you. and a few news ones as well." he smirked. "it shall be... a learning experience."

[Jade]

" Your greed for power... is sickening... the weapons... will never... be under your... control..." he shook his head suddenly feeling dizzy... what did he just...?

" Makes one wonder..." Weiss walked in staring over towards the creature " You say you can create things stronger than the Weapons but... something like this... really now..."

[Reno]

"do you have objections?" Hojo asked.
