Sora sighed. "well too late for that."
Aeris smiled somewhat.

Sephiroth rasied an eyebrow. "no need to be a rabid animal about it." he rammed into the next.

Josh found another set of stairs and started heading up them, this had to be it... he sighed staring up then looked over at Tifa " Dont let go... no matter what happens..."
Raichu frowned " What if... its like the basement?"
Kairi stared suddenly coming to a stop

Riku smirked then suddenly drove his foot into the door knocking it down and with that he stepped out " fuck this place come on!"

"Come on they went this way." Rina said, taking off down the hall, the other woman at her heels.

Raichu took Aeris hand then suddenly followed " Lets do this..."
Josh came to a stop staring at hte doors on the ceiling " now..." he reached up turning the nob
" What if they are up there...?" Kairi said trembling slightly

Tifa shivered, her grip on Josh tightening.
Sora gave a shudder, his hand squeezing her tighter. "i'll protect you."

Sephiroth was left with nothing to do but run. but a sense of forbiding was overcoming him.

Josh suddenly pushed open the door an dit slammed on the floor above them, he stuck his head up looking around... it was dark... but the moon was shining enough light to see in there... the room was filled with old boxes everywhere... and the window... it was... open! He suddenly rushed climbing up helping Tifa behind him
Raichu blinked staring up " What do you see!?"
Kairi stared for a moment " Sora..."

" faster..." Riku said suddenly, something felt wrong, and he suddenly sped up as fast as he could

Tifa, as she climbed up into the attic, looked at their freedom and she grinned. "it's open! we've got a way out!"
Sora's eyes narrowed. "somethings not right here..."

overcoming the five was a sense of urgency, and their quick strides took them down the hallway efficently. but what in gods name... were they running from?

Raichu pushed upwards climbing up but looked around " well... now what...? Wait what about the others!?"
" Fuck them" Josh said walking forward pulling Tifa in the direction of the window
Kairi followed sora " No we have to get Riku!" she said glaring at Josh

There was a sudden loud scream behind them and a ghost like creature suddenly started to pull itself out from the ground letting out another shriek.
Riku stared and paniked " Dont look back!"

Sora nodded. "yeah. its not right to just abandon them!" then he heard a terrible noise... a scream... he turned around.
"we;ve got to get out of here, NOW." Tifa cried, running for the window.
"don;t say that!" Rina screeched, matching the ghosts voice.
Sephiroth felt his heart hammer in terror. this wasnl;t happening...

Josh ran towards the window letting Tifa climb out before him " Hurry..." he said watching her
Raichu suddenly looked back hearing the screach " what was that!?"
Riku paniked then suddenly tripped hitting against the ground " Fuck!" he shouted then struggled to get back up

Sora looked back down and his eyes widened. "Riku!" he let go of Kairi, jumping back down into the hallway.
Rina glanced back, cursing, sliding to a halt. she ran to his side, grabbing his arm and tugged. "get up damnit!"
Sephiroth cursed, stopping next to them, and turned, facing the ghost.

Riku started to get up but suddenly the ghost grabbed him pulling him away from everyone, he screamed " Just run!!!" he stared at it... it was made out of what seemed to be thousands of angry spiriits...
Paine stared blankly for a moment then started to run " Lets go now!!"

Diana had paused as well, but she... she just continued to run.
Sephiroth felt conflicted for a moment. Then he saw Rina, being the rebel she is, try and run after Riku. he grabbed her around the waist, hefting her into his arms, and took off down the hallway.
"Riku!" Rina screamed.
Sora scowled, but shook his head, as they passed him. "we aren;t leaving him!" he ran after his best friend.

Riku suddenly let out a heart wrenching scream as what seemed as if the ghost had ripped his soul out from his body holding it up in the air.
" Sora No!" Raichu ran grabbing his brother trying to pull him back " Im not losing you!"
