The strain and the time... it was both too long. they were losing him. Rina;s heart pounded in her throat, unable tt think of anything she could do... until she thought of a ship. "Sora! i need to anchor his soul! keep it in place! if the heartless and heartful take it we'll lose him! Aeris grab Tenks and get out of here! Tifa talk to him. say anything! even if this works he can lose his mind if he doesn;t have both a pshyical and mental anchor!"
the two nodded. Aeris was easy. she picked up the little boy and took her leave from the room. Sora meanwhile rasied his keyblade. a light of white surronded Josh and entered him, and Sora staied motionless. he felt odd.... it was almost as if his whole body was moving into this very very dark place... where three souls resided. he could tell which one was Josh;s immedittaly. one was too sweet like having too much of a rich candy, the type that gave you a stomach ache the other to warm and spicy, like spicy soup straight of the stove top, the type that scalded the tounge.
thats how he felt when he was around those to. so he went straight for the middle and held down Josh;s soul. he felt so strange in this world, like he was phsycically doing it but yet not, like in a dream.

Josh's body suddenly started to emmit a dark red glow from his body and he looked up he broke two of the chains as he knocked Tifa away from his side, he growled glaring over towards Rina standing up " I wont die...!"
" Joshua no!" Tifa ran over towards him grabbing him as she wrapped her arms around him and began to cry " stop please..."
He suddenly froze as his body trembled... his wings began to wither away... " Tifa... I..."

Rina took a step back. "come on Josh..." please don't die...
Sora meanwhile was witnessing the whole battle as he held onto Josh;s soul. it was like watching waves collide. the heartful was matching the heartless stride for stride and the were merging throughout the body. and then so suddenly the heartless and the heartful combined completely strung up everywhere in the same spots, becoming as one and then together, the began to disperse.

He dropped down to his knees Tifa holding him close as she brushed her hand through his hair soothing him " Shh... we can do this... you and me..."
" Tifa..." he leaned into her his body's dark features suddenly began to fade away...

Sora stared in a bit of amazement. the souls really were vanishing. Sora couldn;t help but allow his own happy thoughts spread in Josh;s concessnous. They were more just pictures of how happy Tenks would be...
and he would have a foster dad now.
then the final wave happened. itwas like dropping a peeble in a unmoving lake and watching it ripple. only there was only one ripple. Sora turned around, covering the soul and felt the white edges tear in him like a sword. it hurt more then anything he;d ever felt before. Josh remained unharmed and untaken.
outwardly Sora gave out a loud cry and Josh's body became a blast of lights shooting out of him. the souls had escaped into the air and left.
it was over. Sora was laying in the dark of Josh;s body and his last whispered thought was am i gonna die? before his soul slammed back into his own body. the keyblade disappeared and Sora fell to the ground.
"Sora!" Rina cried, catching the boy. it felt like emergency after emergency just wouldn;t stop happening around here.

" T... Tif..." Josh shut his eyes and suddenly passed out leaning against her
Tifa frowned holding him close as she jus shut her eyes... he was normal... the black armor had faded and he was only wearing a torn pair f black pants... and a tattered shirt... the same ones from the day he left. She sighed holding him close then looked over " Sora!" She laid Josh down then rushed over to her adopted son lifting him up " honey are you ok?"

Sora opened his blue eyes, staring up at her. "mmm tired..." he shut his eyes grimacning a little. he felt like his whole body... had been ripped in half... but only in a spiritaul way. it was... an odd pain.

Sora chuckled. "you asked." he sighed lightly, then fell asleep almost instantly. he felt drained.
Rina sighed a bit. "i... i just..." she didn;t know how to accept the praise. she still couldn;t say there wasn;lt any damage not done, but it seemed at least now Josh would be out of maleficent;s control. she bit her lips. "they both need rest, a lot of it." she stood, her whole body shaking just lightly from nerves. the whole experience...

Tifa nodded slightly lifting Sora up " sheesh.. hes alot heavier than Tenks..." she joked holding him over her shoulder " Rina... could you take him to Tenks room...? I... kinda want to watch Josh... I mean... unless you want to relax I can... you know...?"

"nah its ok i'll take him." Rina said, holding out her hands, hefting Sora into her own arms. "i don;t think Josh will be awake for awhile nor this kid. i'm sure it took a lot out of him." she walked out of the room, Sora in her arms, walking him into Tenks room. she laid Sora down on one side, feeling his head. he was shaking somewhat but not really in am alarming way.

Tifa sighed closing the door as she made her way back over towards Josh she laid down next to him shutting her eyes... he was back to her... no more heartless... she would have her peace... for now atleast...

she sat there near Sora until he fell into a deep enough sleep that he wasn;t even dreaming anymore then took her leave. Aeris had wandered into the living room, dozing with Tenks on the couch. Sephiros was looking out the kitchen window. Yuffie had already gone off to bed. Rina glanced around. she was surprised Squall wasn;t giving her a tounge lashing or something. what she had done... told Sora to do... now that she thought of it... it was very foolish.

Tenks snuggled up against his aunt shutting his eyes feeling tired " Is daddy better yet...?" he mumbled leaning against her

Aeris looked up at Rina.
Rina grinned a little. "mission successful." she walked over. she hefted Tenks up in her arms. "get some sleep Aeris. thanks too i couldnl;t a done it all without your help."
"all of us did our part." Aeris said. she stood, kissing Tenks forehead. "goodnight little one." and she took off down the hall quitely.
Rina looked down at Tenks then walked back into the room. "Tenks, both sora and your father are asleep so don;t try waking them and you look not far off either. get some rest. Sora's gonna be sleeping with you for awhile." she laid Tenks down next to his adopted brother.
