Sora looked at the ring, giving it an appraising look. he shrugged and put it on, albeit unhastily.
"you sure that'll work here?" Rina asked.

"well we'll see... and if this kid ends up breaking my sword cause of it, you know who i'm coming after." she gave Raichu a look then shooed him away. "alright sora."
Sora rasied his keyblade. he didn;t feel to different... just the adrenline running.

Raichu smiled patting Sora on the back " you can do this..." of the ring wasnt real, he just wanted to give the kid confidence... a... form to make him believe that he can do anything " Sora with that Ring you can take on anything that comes your way remember... your the chosen one... nobody can beat you.t"

Rina scowled and her eyes narrowed. she began to advance on Sora with an even stride. sephiroth had always done this to her and it always made her nervous. but sora didn;t waver. she charged and there was a clang as the blades connected. both the weight and the strength made her stumble a bit. surprise littered her freatures. he hadn;t shown such open brute strength. she hadn;t been ready for it. Sora pulled back and struck again, she jumped, her whole frame lifting into a flip and her hand catching the floor-
Sora saw his chance, sliding forward from his previous attack and slashing out his keyblade. it neatly caught her wrist right between the two prong and he tugged. Rina gave a cry, unable to correct and hit the floor. she grimanced feeling her wrist twist a little oddly. Sora clamped down the two prongs of the keyblade into the ground effectively trapping her. Rina glared at him, not daring to move her arm.
Sora smirked. "i believe i beat ya."
"luck kid. luck." she hissed.

Sora smiled lifting his blade up and off her.
Rina scowled a bit. she was going easy on the kid but if he wanted her to be crueler... she tried to move and hissed a little. she looked up at her wrist. it was twisted oddly but not broken. "this kid is gonna kill me."

Rina sat up, holding her wrist close. she bent it around a bit and sighed. "i'm gonna murder you sora."

she scowled and kicked him in the shin. "i'll be fine." she stood, sntahcing up her sword. luckily it was her left hand, one she hardly used in battle. "this session isn;t over!"

Rina snorted. "baby." she shoved him out of the way, cringing a little then got in a stance.
Sora did as well.
Rina did get harder on him that morning. Sora got more brusies and cuts then he cared to admit and they had a few close calls. Sora only got the better of Rina once more that day, when he had slid under one of her strikes and had cleanly his her in the midsection and tripped her over at the same time. it wasn;t much but it had him elated.
by afternoon the two where sprawled out on their training ground, exasted. Sora, because he had gotten knocked down that way, Rina because she felt like it.
