"i remeber...." Yolana murmured. "she got sick... real sick. she went to probably a bazillion doctors and they all said that there was no cure... they couldn;t even determine what she had. The last time i saw her was when she left me on my daddy's front doorstep..."
Rina frowned a little. she knew how much Siaki had been hurt over the whole issue... leaving her daughter... "if anyone you can blame Hojo. she didn;t have a sickness. she was perfectly healthy. the bastard... i don;t know why but... he put something in our head.... computer chips or something that when another one of us died... we would too... and becaiuse both seph and rufus died... well Siaki was five years before her time was up."

Tifa frowned staring down at the ground " thats a shame... that sounds around the same time of Geostigma too... Rufus... died right before Aeris rain... didnt he...?"

However, things turned themseleves for the worse. Deathsiege was a cruel cruel man who was looking out for blood. he had enslaved them all, putting collar on them that locked away their magic and ablities.
but that wasnlt the cruelest thing. the cruelest thing was the arena. it was built up, a cage surronding a circular area of nothing more then dirt and sand. it was a test of strength and will and fighting experience.
When going in they were allowed a weapon of choice and the collar were removed. they were thrown into the arena. it was no sue getting out, there was barrier around the arena that shocked you if you attempted to penetrate it.
Two went in. one came out. you didn;t know who you were facing until you were thrown into the arena. it was a fight to the death. and if you refused to fight, demons entered the arena and chewed you to bits. it was bloody and tortorous and drove some people mad.
It was... wrong...
Rina sighed - staring forward at the arena as the slaves approached. she had already been in their twice, and it had only been two monthes of this torture. one fight every day. she knew why. Deathsiege liked how she killed them. with a cool indifference, no emotions, no hesitation. she had ruthlessly killed her first opponent, a little girl no more then 11, by slitting her throat. her second opponent drew more of a challenge. another female but older. teenager-age at least. she had shot of so many spells so quickly Rina could barely dodge. she hadn;t been hurt, and by the time she reached the girl and stabbed her in the stomach, was winded.
It wasn;t right... but it was the only survival she had.
sometimes.... if you were unlucky and chosen, you'd be forced to fight a demon to. this had only happened once, and the kid had died ten minutes in the fight.
the only way of escape for both fighters was this: if both opponents lasted an hour in this death trap. no one had so far.

Elle growled being shoved near the gate on the otherside, she had managed to keep hidden from the demons for so long but they had finally caught up with her... she had been killing them... taking there heads... even eating the dead bodies for meals. She growled " Dont push me!" she shot back at the demon her eyes glaring

Rina ducked her head a biut, hearing a growl in a voice unmistakable. her head shot up. "elle...?"

Elle was pushed out into the arena as he collar came off almost instantly, she growled flying back at the cage but was shocked by a barrier as she screamed falling back several feet away hitting against the ground hard. She growled her eyes glowing a dark red " Ill kill you all!"

Elle's scythe appeared in her hands as she stood there looking around... there where demons all over the place watching her... what was this thing...?

Rina growled, pushing her way through to the front of the cage so she could see in at her lover. "El?" demons were rooting for blood, as were some slaves. it was awful. but who would her opponent be?

Elle grimaced as she started to back up, she had to get out of here... her collar was off... maybe... but no the barrier...
