"scarlet!" Rufus cried but didn;t pursue. he frowned a bit, bowing his head. "damnit..."

It wass only another day later, and something phenomenial had happened. the sistar ray had been moved and hooked up to the 6 remaining reactors, and was being powered up so sephiroth's shield would break.
Rufus stared out, alone in his office, and sighed. he grabbed the phone on his desk and dialed a number. it was scarlet's.

Rufus looked outside his window, seeing the mass moving closer. he sighed. why was he doing this? because somewhere... deep inside of him he fwelt that something bad was about to happen. "scarlet... its me... i... wanted to apologize... and say that..." he bit his lip. "i love you."
