Aeris set down her spoon. she walked over to the door, wiping her hands on the apron. She opened the door... and stared. "...R-....Raichu?!"
Iris looked up. "eh...?"

" Hey..." he smiled at her as he just stood there " Its been a long time..." God she was so beautiful... he just wanted to... to take her in his arms... and sweep her off her feet... but he was scared to try it...
Kenji looked up towards the door as he just stared, who was that man...?

Aeris stared. "you're... you'ree... alive? you're... Raichu!" Aeris hugged him tightly burying her head into his chest.
"whats mommy doing?" Iris whispered to her brother.

He hugged back shutting his eyes rubbing her back moving his hand through her hair" I would say I missed you... but I dont have any memory past throwing the bomb..." gently he leaned down kissing her forehead " I dont plan on leaving you ever again..."
" I dont know..." he glared looking over at the man " Who are you!? Why are you hugging my mommy!?"
Raichu blinked glancing over at the small boy, a little boy...? his son...?

Aeris smiled suddenly and pulled him inside, shutting the door. "kids calm down..."
Iris stood, holding her pencil threateningly. "we know how to fight mister!"
"this... is your father."

Kenji blinked looking up at the man " Thats not true my father is dead! Mommy you said so yourself!" the boy stared at the man confused " Are you trying to trick us! Just like... just like everyone else!?"
Raichu frowned slightly the boy didnt trust him... that was obvious, he broke away from Aeris walking over kneeling down infront of him " Im not trying to trick you..." he smiled looking at him " Whats your name kiddo?"
Kenji blined looking at him " Uh... my... my name?" slowly he looked over at his mother and started to back away " your not my father..."

" I dont even know myself..." he just smiled looking back at her " But I dont care... because im here to be with my family now..."
" I hate you..." Kenji suddenly said " Its your fault I always got beat up at school!" the small boy suddenly started to cry " Why werent you ever there for me! To... to help me... they made fun of me... my teacher said you where a coward! You ran away from my mom!"
Raichu suddenly stared blankly... no... it was just like Ryten " Son... I didnt run away..."
" No shut up!" Kenji shouted at him

Aeris frowned. she;d have to stop this before it got out of hand. she walked over and picked up Kenji. "come here darling i'm going to talk to you, privately for a moment." she looked at Raichu apologetically then walked off into the room where the twins slept, shutting the door. She set Kenji on the bed and sat next to him.
Iris stared at the door... not comprehending anything for a moment then yelped. "mommy don;t leave me alone!" She looked at Raichu then ran into the kitchen, hiding under a table.

Kenji pouted " Am I in trouble...? Mommy I didnt do anything..."
Raichu sighed suddenly lifting his head up into the air something was... cooking? He blinked heading into the kitchen " alright food!" he felt his stomache growl " im starving I havent eaten anything in a long time!" there was a pie sitting by the window... he almost started to drool as he ran over picking it up. This would help get things off his mind...

"Listen Kenji..." Aeris looked at him. "when i was your age i was always very intuitive. Basically that means open to all possiblities. Iknow it doesn;t seem fair, but i swear to you that your father had been dead. I'm not... completely certain on how he came to be alive again, but i'm sure he'll tell me. the fact is, some type of magic... maybe even that of the gods... saw fit to bring him back. your father is a good man, and deserves life. i know you;ve gotten hurt a lot Kenji... but... even if it wasn;t for that they would have found another reason."
Aeris smiled suddenly. "in fact... if you want proof... show him the rod i gave you for your birthday. if he can use it... doesn;t that prove something?"

Kenji pouted staring down at the ground " I guess... but mommy how do you know he didnt run away? Thats what my teacher told me... I believed you he was dead... people just dont come back to life mommy they stay dead!"

He blinked letting the block hit him in the head " Ouch..." Raichu scratched his head walking over to the cubbord grabbed two forks as he walked over to her sitting down on the ground " you wanna share it? We can eat the whole thing just you and me ok?"

"if he had run away you would not be alive." Aeris said simply, because those demons, the hylden, would have come and taken us out the people are only spiteful, like your teacher, because when Raichu left and Sephiroth was given the form of leader, everyone became more and more uncertain. Raichu was stronger, more... erm... how you say... friendly and knew how to keep the town calm. Sephiroth, while he does have his redeeming qualities, is still known as a murderer to these people. they trust him like they do any demon. they are only mean to you, because they are scared."

He shut his eyes then suddenly hugged his mother and started to cry " Mommy... do I have to be nice to him...? Ryten said he never trusted him either... he said he let his mommy die..."

"Kenji... Raichu didn;t let Ayane die. he loved her a lot... and he loved his kids, he always has. Ryten just lost his mom when he was to young. he was never brought up like he was meant to be."
