"Move!" Eve commaned, pushing past Reno and Diana and was out in the night air. Her eyes widened, "Rina!" She ran foreward as a bracelet on her arm started to glow green.
Rina's eyes were staring down the fire with terror. Fire was her weakness... damnit! She yelped shutting her eyes but none of the fire hit her. She blinked, opening her eyes slowly to see a greenish barrier in front of her and the fire hit and disappated against it, unable to reach her. Thanks Eve. Rina smirked then turned her head to look at the Demon, and slashed her sword backward at him.

Vincent blinked as he saw Eve. This wasn't good. He looked back at the house and saw the other watching in terror. They...they all thought he was a real monster?! He looked back at Rina and screech as her sword went through him. He pushed her away with his huge claws and held his side.
Aya blinked as the monster showed blood. "Kill it!"

Rina winced a bit. "Aya i don't havta." She glared at the demon, "That's what you get for sneaking up on me like that! Geez Vin. Give me a heart attack why don;t ya?"
Eve blinked a bit panting. She looked a bit clueless for a moment then, "Ohhhh!" She forgot all about Vincent being able to turn into a demon! She and Rina had read on it back when they were with ShinRa. How could she forget something like that?!
being dead really hurts the memory.
Reno seemed to of just realized it too. it was so rare that vincent went demon that it was a total surprise to him, even though when he had been with ShinRa he had faced it more then once. Well when you get old the memory was the first think to go right?

Vincent sighed and he slowly morphed out of the demon mode. He shivered as he returned to normal. He looked down at his wound and winced, falling to the ground.
Aya blinked. "Wha...!?" he ran for a second, trying to figure out what was going on. WHAT WAS GOING ON!? "Daddy!?" He ran to Vincent's side and knelt down.

Rina sighed wiping off her sword and seathing it, "Idoit." she leaned down and picked Vincent up and started to walk towards the house.

Aya was shocked...not knowing how to react. He looked up at Eve, seeing that everyone knew what was going on...except for him. "Is daddy gonna be alright?"
Vincent snickered as he was dragged inside. "I would have gotten you...if it wasn't for Eve..."

Eve sighed, "He'll be fine."
Rina scoffed at him, "No way, but next time transform into something that doesn;t use fire k?" She smiled, She knew Vincent would have won if that attack had hit. It made her grateful that she had Eve though. Rina knew she always had a low tolerance for magic, espescally fire and using it was nearly out of the question. It drained her so quickly.
Thats why she and Eve made the perfect team. Rina was always physical with her sword, or any other weapon on hand, and Eve was purely magic, rarely if ever calling on her sword for help.
Rina sighed laying him out on the couch. Eve wandered in next to her and smiled, "Geez Vincent, next time warn us. I really though my sister was gonna die for a moment."
"Oh thanks for your confidence!" Rina hissed. Eve laughed leaning over Vincent and useing a quick but efficent cure spell on him.
Maybe things would have been different if Sephiroth had gotten around to teaching Rina how to bewcome stronger in the arts of magic. but for now, Rina was unable to do much with the magic art. It was ok though, she had an upper hand with her speed alone. And hell... Eve was always there for her.

"You train so damn much Rina...I figured you should have a target." He sat up slowly and look at his side. It had cleared up nicely.
"You know...real enemies won't think twice when using fire...you need to work on that..."
Aya walked in and ran to vincent's side. "Are you ok?"
"Yea...I'm fine..." He looked over and Reno and frowned. "Why didn't you tell them? You know that I can morph into that beast."

"Heh, it doesn;t matter, just a small lapse of memory." Eve said with a smile.

Vincent frowned. "Yea...well...let's get to bed." He picked up Aya and walked up the stairs.
He laid Aya down and sighed. "Sleep ti..."
"can you sleep with me?"
Vincent blinked. "uh...I guess..."
Aya smiled as he made room.
Vincent took off his cape and shirt. He took off his headcloth and placed it on the dresser. He the climbed into the small bed and pulled Aya ontop of him. "Alright...night kid."
Aya smiled as he nuzzled Vincent's chest and soon fll asleep.

It was a quick goodnight for the rest, and, Reno being the gentleman he is, opted to sleep on the couch while Eve slept in her room and Diana and Rina cuddled in theirs.

Early next morning Vincent got dressed. He walked to the door and opened it slowly, so he wouldn't wake--
"Are you leaving?" Aya was looking at Vincent from under the covers.
"Yea...I'm leaving."
Aya got up and ran over to Vincent, giving him a big hug.
Vincent returned the hug and smiled.
"get to bed ok? It's still very early. Be good...I might not be back for awhile."
"Ok...tell Mr. Reno I said good-bye...and take care of him ok?"
Vincent laughed and nodded.
"Sure...i can do that...now get back to bed ok?"
Aya nodded and ran back into his bed.
Vincent walked downstairs and saw Reno asleep on the couch. He nudged him slightly and sighed. "Come on...let's go."
