Vincent sighed as Eve left. "yea..." He looked at the crying child and blinked. He wasn't very...well...he didn't know how to handle such things. "Let's go to your room ok? We need to talk."
A few hours later...Vincent finished his whole story. Aya blinked as he looked across the bed at Vincent. "So...my parents weren't really my parents?"
"No...I paid them to take care of you."
Aya nodded. His eyes than brightened. "So...i do have a parent! Your my dad!"
"That's right..."
Aya smiled and hugged vincent tightly. "You should have told me before."
"I know...well...you should get to bed...it's late ok?" Vincent picked him up and laid him down in the bed. "I'll see you tomorrow." He sighed and slowly knelt down, kissing Aya on the forehead. "Night kid..."
He walked out of the room and sighed. He saw that Eve's light was on and decied to fill her in. he walked in and started to chat.
After the story...he felt a lot better about the whole thing...but now...what was he going to do about Lucrecia? She couldn't be all to upset for what she had done to him. He walked downstairs to see reno and Diana chatting.

"So hows mom?"
"She's been better, i assure you. She hates the fact i'm out here. I've heard from Casey lately too."
Diana eyes brightened at the mention of her half brother, "Yeah?"
"He got together with that Jakku women... ahhh Shaktia."
"Thats good. i... think."
"Well Josh wasn;t too happy about. He thought it was beastality."
"Poor Case..." Diana shook her head, "And Tenks and Pann? Are they still with Yolana and Rufus?"
Reno nodded, "I think Tenks and Yolana are doing the best. They haven;t had one fight yet and they;ve been together for what... five years?"
"There too mild tempered and joking. How can they?" Diana grinned.
Reno shrugged with a small smile, "So... how is... your relationship going?"
"With Rina? It's been great! better then i expected. i really think i;ve fallen for her dad... is that a bad thing?"

Vincent looked at the two and sighed. Would he ever have that relationship with Aya? He shrugged and walked into the kitchen.

"Well no... but Pann doesn't."
"Pann's a grouch."
"Daddy!"
Reno merely laughed, "She is!"
Rina was outside, standing in the milkd darkness training once more,. She didn;t know why but she wasn;t tired in the least. Insomia maybe. she was hoping if she wore herself out enough she would be able to sleep. she wanted to be alert and ready if something did attack.
Her blade gleamed in the moonlight as she spun slashing her sword downwards then to the left.

Vincent walked out and stood there in the doorway. He closed the door behind him and watched Rina. She had been doing this for as long as he knew her...

my power can rival Sephiroth's. I'm just about as smart as him. yet i go unacknowledged in this world. What do i have to do? Summon Meteor? Or just be a man? Rina growled under her breath spinning again, then continuing to slash thin air but in more angry swipes.

Vincent smirked as he walked down the stairs. It had been ahile nut....why not?
Slowly his body started to morph. Large bat-like wings formed from hi back. his eyes started to glow saw he dashed towards Rina at a high speed and knocked her over with a steady blow.

Rina yelped and looked up a bit angry. She blinked in surprise, "What the?"

Vincent growled and beated his wings a few times. His massive claws swiped at rina a few times...show that he was no real threat.

Rina rasied an eyebrow then smirked, backing away and fetching her sword, "oooh i'm scared."

Vincent roared as he watched Rina.
Aya awoke and rubbed his eyes. "what was that?" He walked to his window and looked down. He screamed at the sight of the huge creature and ran to Eve's room. "There's a monster outside! It's attacking Miss Rina!"

Rina smirked and made a fake growl back. She charged at him.
Eve's eyes fluttered then she sat up, "What?!"

Vincent grabbed her before she could strick and blasted her a few feet away into the snow. He roared again and flapped his wings.
Aya nodded. "There's a huge monster outside! you have to help her!"

Rina blinked and growled, "Alright no more mrs. nice Rina!" She got to her feet and charged.
Eve's eyes widened then she heard the roar. That's all it took for her to run out of bed and down the stairs.
Reno and Diana were watching the fight from the doorway, Diana;s eyes were wide, "Rina..."

Vincent stepped back and started to glow. He than unleashed demon flare. 50 tiny balls of fire flew down towards rina. Before she could slash him, he beated his wings and flew behind her.
Aya watched in horror as the huge monster started to release the fire balls. "Miss RINA!"
