"About what?" She walked out and handed her the plate with pancakes. "I wasn't going to eat them anyway."
She walked to the seat across from Rina and sat down.

Rina blushed setting the plate down. she loved pancakes, "Well thanks!" she looked at her and shrugged, "And i'd like to talk about anything. It'srare i ever get to talk to someone who's not a fan of mine. it makes me feel almost normal."

She shrugged. "Yea well...i hope you're not just because of my last name. I'm not really a gainsborough...my father was just raised by them and took the name."
Kapu walked out and started to sniff the new commer.

"Nah, even though i loved the whole past story i wasn;t really interested in the gainbourugh family. I was more intrigued by the Hojo family." Rina shrugged and started to eat curiously, "Call me sadistic but the evil side of things usally appeals to me more."

"I wouldn't know...i seriously don't know the story." She leaned over and clapped her hands.
kapu ran over to her and laid down, letting her rub his tummy.

"Until we get our next assignment. Which could be anywhere from a week to a few months." Rina said shrugging a bit looking down at the dog, "adorible."

"Yea...I found him on the side of the road a few months ago. His leg was broken. Someone must of hit him and continued on. Since I'm a nurse, i fixed his leg and he's been staying with me ever since. No one claimed him...so I kept him. He's a good dog." She looked and and shook her head.
"Well, I'm sure that you have enough money to stay in an apartment till your next gig."

They sat in silent for a few moments until something snapped into her head.
"Wait...you studied all those families in history right? And you said that only those three families could fly...am I correct? That means that the power to fly is in their genes...so that means...i must be apart of one of the families...right?"

"heh...well....i've never told anyone this but....well...i might of told mark but....my father was a pirate...and my mother was...i'm not sure where she came from or anything...I guess my mother is hard to explain to people...it's a long story. But I guess it would be crazy if my mother's family or my father's family was really another one of those famous ones....instead of a gainsborough..."
She sighed and ran her hands through her hair again. She needed another shower.

"Crazy sounding, but not impossible. San or Gainsborough are easy, but i can only trace the hojo family so far. I'm almost positive the one of the four had a child though. maybe even several." Rina shrugged.

"Well...I'm not too worried about it. I'd rather not get into those affairs." She got up and got a glass of water.
Xuan looked out the window and saw that the lights were coming on in the streets. She had talked to Rina for hours about....mostly nothing. She looked back at Rina who was still sitting in the same seat. "You should be getting back to your place now. It's not very safe around here at night."

"Well...I won't offer to take you home then." She walked to the door and unlocked it. "You can come back tomorrow if you want. However I will be busy since I have work in the late afternoon." She frowned as she saw kapu walk into the bedroom.
"And if you do drop by...please have something to talk about. i was never big with small talk. You were nice company though."
