Gradd suddenly started clapping " awsome! good job Yong!"
Squirtle blinked and ran over to ghastly " squirtle squirtle!"
Brock gave her a dull look but walked over to her taking out a badge " im impressed, most people cant handle ghost pokemon"

She smiled taking the badge. "Thanks...it was fun." She walked over to gastly and gave him a treat. "Great job Gastly." She put the badge on her jacket and smiled. "My friend here would like to battle you next after you get your pokemon recovered."

Brock blinked then looked over at gradd then his squirtle " water pokemon? uh..."
Gradd nodded " yeah you bet! Squirtle and I are more ready than ever!"

" no... not really" he frowned looking at gradd then at Yong " kind of unfair using pokemon that are rocks weakness." he took out another badge and tossed it to gradd " here we both know my pokemon cant win against your squirtle."
Gradd blinked catching " huh? what? I uh... but I wanted to battle"
Brock gave him a dull look

Yong frowned. "Let the kid battle...he needs his pokemon to level up for future gyms. What kid of gym leader are you just handing out badges like that? And it's called smarts to use a pokemon who is strong against another." She yelled at him and frowned.
Gastly blinked...but she was right.

" ok well then" he said looking down " you can battle me tommorow when my pokemon have healed up" he smiled slightly at Yong then started walking back " until then"
Gradd smiled handing the badge to Yong " you know im only a year younger than you"

Brock came to a sudden stop then looked back " money what?" this wasnt good he really couldnt afford to be giving money to pokemon trainers
