Eleu shivered as she walked home. it was raining. Rare but possible. Kyle and Danica were home two houras ago. she had staied to finsih up her 8th grade project. she was almost a freshman... how amazing. The ShinRa thing had been toned down a bit. no one really cared anymore.
Eleu was alerted by a whimpering noise. she looked up and glanced around then walked over and looked in a sideways turned cardboard box, "aweee!"
A puppy Border Collie looked up at her and whimpered. it looked incredibly lonely and sad. she frowned. dad woul never let her keep it... he was allergic to dogs. but she coukdn;t just leave the poor thing here...
she frowned and picked up the dog and opened her coat and placed the dog against her chest. she shut it and shivered as the dogs wet fur got her shirt damp. she smiled and walked home. no had to know... she just needed to keep it hidden.

Kyle was sitting in the front room playing video games, hed been doing it constantly for the last two weeks.
Pann frowned walking in as she stared at him " those things are really rotting your mind Kyle..."
Kyle ignored her and kept playing " mom can I get something to drink?"

Rufus was drying his hair. he had been out for hours before it started to rain. it was always the best time to take pictures.
Danica was in her room. she sighed reading a book and smiled. Eleu always was the one to be late.
Eleu walked up to her door and knocked. she really did need a key...

Pann frowned then walked up to the door unlocking it as she opened it to see her daughter " Eleu...? you really need to stop being so late honey..."

Eleu walked down the hallway.
"Eleu? is that you?" he father called.
"yes Dad!" she said nervously and got a towel out of the closet.
"why are you-"
"can;t talk, cold!" she went to her and her sisters room running in. she shut the door and locked it then opened her coat letting the puppy jump to the floor.
Danica looked over and her eyes widened, "oh my god..."

Pann sighed walking up the stairs then glanced back towards Kyle... she really needed to take that damn thing away from him. Why Rufus bought it for him... she really didnt know but disagreed with it completley.

Rufus frowned walking out of the bathroom. why was Eleu in such a rush?
"sssh!" Eleu hissed and started to dry off the puppy with her towel.

Pann saw Rufus " Rufus... I really think we should take that thing away from Kyle, its rotting his mind. Its all that he does day in and day out." she frowned staring at him aproaching him

"oh come on..." Rufus started, "video games teach hand eye coordination?" he smiled, "whats up with Eleu? she just ran past like a crazed woman."

Pann frowned " I dont know... but Rufus! Dont change the subject! His grades have been dropping because of that stupid game!"

Rufus sighed, "alright alright!" he scratched the back of his head, "i'll deal with it."
"dad is sooo gonna kill you!" Danica said.
"not if they don;t find out!" Eleu hissed.
The border collie shook itself and both girls yelped.
"don;t get me wet you dog!"
"don;t say that!" Eleu frowned. she blinked and lifted its tail, "and its a she!"
Danica fell over laughing at the starnge act. Eleu stood up glaring and wrapped the puppy in the towel. she went to there closet trying to find a new outfit for herself.
Rufus glanced back at the girl's door hearing then yell. he blinked.

they both froze.
"nothing mom! i just got Danica wet!" Eleu called. she looked down at the puppy as it laid down nuzzling itself into the towel and laid down seemingly uncaring about the whole fiasco.
"and dog?!" Rufus called.
"ever heard of namecalling?!" Danica said looking half in panic. she absoulutly hated getting in trouble and it would be all Eleu's fault if they did!
