Angus looked around and started to cough. Tears ran down his face as he looked back at the camp. It was all up in flames.

Shaktia growled and bowed her head. it was over.... she yelped suddenly feeling someone pick her up and looked up.
"mom calm down," Arrow said smileing ruefully then flew up and after Gabriel.

Angus blinked as they rose above the forest. He looked down and started to cry. His mother was left to burn in the fire.

Shaktia looked at Angus and held him tightly.
Arrow sighed his ears flattening.

Gabriel landed in the desert. He placed Star and Zolt down and held them closely. He rubbed their back and sighed. "Hush children...it will be ok."

Star was shaking and she looked up, "who... who are you?"
Zolt was whimpering and crying.
Arrow looked down and circled slightly then landed.

Gab looked down at the children and smiled. "My name is gabriel...I'm your father's friend." His one wing twitched as he looked at the fire ripping through the woods.
Angus started to shake in Shaktia's arms.

"thanks Gabriel," Arrow said setting his mom on her feet, "i owe you one..." he reached over and took his son and hugged him, "shhh Angus everything is gonna be fine," of course... nothing was going to be find. they had just lost two members from the clan, their wife/mother, their home and their land all in one day.

Angus looked up at Arrow and frowned. "NO! It's not ok!" He continued to sob.
Gabriel looked down and sighed. "You...you guys can stay in my apartment till you find a new place to stay."

Arrow frowned hushing Angus as well as he could, "thanks gab... i really do owe you."
Shaktia was watching the fire destroy the only place she had ever called home... she bowed her head in defeat and whimpered.
"mom... what about the rest of the clan?"
"Karissa and Nyiko will deal with it." Shaktia said emotionlessly.

Gab looked up suddenly and looked over at Arrow. "Arrow...what happened to Nikki?"
Angus looked over at gab and glared...what did he know about their mother?
