She nodded as she walked by his side. "welcome..." She looked back at her house. "Come on...you need rest." She left his side and walked back to the house.

he collected his cloak and followed her back to the house. "you know, you're the first person not to try to kill me. even the people i'd lived with for years tried to kill me when i came to them for help. they kept yelling 'don't listen to him! he's been posessed by a demon!' the fools."

"Staying here isn't going to help you find him either." She looked at him and smirked. "This place has no answers for you..." She walked to her bedroom and looked back at him. "good night." She walked into the room and closed the door.

"good night." he found his way back up to the loft and layed down in the bed. it had been a long time since he slept in a bed. he fell asleep almost immeadiately.

Myra was awake before the sun rose the next day. She had gotten all that she needed packed in a back pack. She walked upstairs, into the loft and watched the man sleep.

Kavan was dreaming of his family. as was often the case. he dreamt of his son all grown up and with a family of his own. he dreamt of his wife cooking supper. he went to join her. but just as he was about to rap his arms around her, he woke up. he looked about the room to see Myra standing next to the ladder, looking directly at him. "yes? is it time to go already?"

She looked at him and nodded. "Yea...I made a small breakfast for you to eat before we leave." She climbed back down the latter and walked down to the kitchen.

he stood out of bed and threw his cloak on. but left the hood off for now. he stepped into the hole in the floor and landed lightly on the floor beneath. he walked into the kitchen with a smile on his face. "so, where we headed? east?"

he thought as he took the plate from her. "how about we go to Everlast Mountain? heard there was a demon up there causing a fuss among the villagers at the mountains base."

She nodded. "Sounds good to me...I have to whip a few more demon asses to get my spirts up." She smirked as she took her blade and looked at it. It brought back many memories.

he glanced at her as she admired her blade. it made him think of his wife. tho he didn't know why. his wife hated swords or anything to do with fighting. "well then, shall we go?" he said as he put his plate down.
