Daron set down his plate and glared at Kei, "you won;t if you sdon;t drink and you and i both know it! if you won;t drink from someone else why not me?! i know you won;t kill me!"

Kei grabbed Daron's wrist and pulled him close. "what do you know? Don't you think after 1,000 years...don't you think I have the right to think of death? I've done my job...you no longer have to stay here...i raised you the best I could...I have been a civilized vampire, raising seven humans in my life and only taking the blood that I needed. I watched my loved ones die and die...you know how painful it is? I don't think so..." He let go of Daron's wrist and started back to his room slowly.

Kei took a few deep breaths. "Stop acting like a child...go find yourself a lover, have a family...have a normal life...I don't want to tie you down...you have to move on ...on your own Daron."

Kei closed his eyes and sighed. He reached down and rubbed Daron's hands that were wrapped around his waste. "Stop your whimpering" he spoke softly.

kei looked passed him at the plate and broke away from the boy. "eat your supper." he turned and started to walk away, trying to find the last of his strength.

As entering his room, he fell and hit the ground hard. He closed his eyes and pulled himself up onto the bed. His breathing grew worse and he held his thoat. He crawled up to the pillow and laid down, curling into a ball and closing his eyes.

Daron jumped alarmed by the thump he heasrd. he ran to Kei's room, "Kei?!"

There was no reply to Daron's shocked voice. Kei had fallen into a deep sleep.
