[Rikugurl]

Large wounds and scars covered his body as he laid there in the dark night. It had been awhile since he laid ontop of the roof. The sky was covered with clouds and the moon tried to peek through them.

He finally cut his long black ahir back down to his shoulders, he no longer had the horns...the blue now mixed with the black. Sometimes he wondered why he servived that battle a few years back...it was quite amazing.

Vertix looked up at the roof at Dainket oddly then back up at the sky " its a beautifuly night tonight dont you think Dainket? Your grandfather always loved to look out at the stars... do you remember?" Vertix to had survived... oddly enough he had expected to die... he got out with severe scars across his body, burn marks from a certain attack... things seemed to be going well though, even dainket seemed to be changing.

Dainket nodded. "yea...I remember." he smiled. The moon found a few clouds and it grew dark again. "So...how are you feeling Uncle?" He looked down at the old man and smiled.

Dainket had a nice scar running down diagnally across his face. He had a few scars and burns on his chest and legs...but they still made it out alive.

Vertix nodded slightly " I um... im alright I guess... im just happy that this whole thing is over... luckily enough nobody died as odd as that is..."

Dainket smiled and stood. He dropped down the the street to acompany Vertix. "How's Yuffie?" He had gotten use to the fact that people did care about him...and that he'd have to open up to them a bit.

Vertix shrugged slightly " shes alright, same old, same old I guess, shes at home doing her usually things."

Dainket nodded. "yea....maybe I should go see Cel....I haven't seen her since the morning of the battle....and that was like 3 years ago." He looked down and sighed. "She probably thinks I'm dead.....I was so stupid not to go back and tell her that i was fine..."

Vertix frowned slightly " well Magus did teach you how to teleport when he continued your training right? Why dont you go see her...? If you dont you may risk that she might have just moved on without you"

Dainket nodded. "hey...do you mind if I ask you to come with me? i fought my first battle...almost got killed....but confronting an angry woman might be another thing all together." he laughed and rubbed the back of his neck.

Vertix laughed slightly " yeah tell me about it, no a man can be insanley brave but can never stand up to a womans wrath as they say." Vertix joked " of course ill come, we wont be gone long will we?"

"No...i'm just gonna go, say i'm alive and sorry for not contacting her sooner....then i guess i'll say my good-byes and start training for the next tounament." he nodded and looked up at the sky once more. "ready?"

Vertix nodded slightly " yeah sure I guess... where does your uh... Cel live?"

"Costa..." he nodded and suddenly disappeared. he reappeard next to his parent's memorial. It had been awhile since he prayed there too. He just never got around to things. he waited for Vertix before he went to Cel's house.

Vertix suddenly apeared next to him " wow... thanks for leaving so soon like that with no warning dainket, whats with the rush?"

Dainket laughed. "heh....I'm still young aren't I?" He walked to the outskirts of Costa and walked up to the house. He walked up to the door and sighed. Slowly he knocked on it and waited.
