Gradd slowly glanced over at the boy " then looked out into the horizon, your kind of young to be getting yourself into a battle kid, if those are your intentions." he let out a brief sigh as he looked back over at him " and im standing right infront of you"

Dainket blinked. "So you're gradd?" He took his hand out. "I'm dainket, and as..." He looked at Gradd's hand as he could see the King of Hearts sign showing. "Well....I thought I was the King of Hearts..."
Miya looked around the throne and sighed.

Gradd looked at his hand then Dainket " huh? oh this it wont ever go away. Its um... once a guardian always a guardian I guess, and I already new who you where. Funny you know who I am but forget im half of your grandfather" he laughed slightly then looked out again

Dainket nodded. "where is Magus? Have you seen him around? I can't feel his life force..."
Miya sighed and closed her eyes as she sunk into the chair at the head of the thrown. Something didn't seem right....

" Magus has left the tower... he isnt the guardian any longer so he has no obligations to be here, im taking his place I guess. My guess is that he probrably went home to see his family before the battle anyways, I kind of told him not to take part in it aswell... this is my fight. If I know DeathSiege right, and I know I do he will honor my request for a one on one battle"

Dainket raised his eyebrow. "so.......that means I'm not fighting? neither is Vertix or Sean or Josh?" He frowned as he looked at his great uncle. "Are you sure that's the right thing gradd?"

Slowly Gradd looked at him and nodded " I dont want anybody else getting hurt if they dont have too. You all have too much in life to just throw it all away and get yourselves killed. I myeself... all I want is to keep my soul, live or die... and if I tire him out Josh can get the finishing blow."

Gradd stared at him oddly " uh... what woman? Miya? if so no she didnt... she stayed here with me, shes my sister kind of..." he sighed gripping his dragonsblade " listen... just dont attack DeathSiege at all, oddly enough only one with my exact blood in them can kill him and you dont have that. Thats why I said Josh can make the blow, hes half of me so its in his power to do so"

Dainket sighed but nodded. He knew that gradd was right...gradd would aways be right. He looked up and sighed. The sun was almost completely out. He'd just have to sit back and watch, like he always did before.
