Dainket nodded. "What's three years? i have a bunch of time on my hands." He looked down and sighed. "you won't miss me will ya?" he laughed a bit then shook his head.
She reached out for him slowly then held it back, a bit scared. "Magus......how are you suppose to find happiness if you don't......." She looked down, not knowing how to finish her sentence.

Vertix nodded slightly " yeah and I will go and visit you too" slowly he lifted up his right hand as a crest with a queen infront of a spade " im a guy yeah but im the owner of the queen of spades crest" he said laughing slightly, im permitted to go to the tower at any time.
Magus remained there silently for a while not saying anything " I am not allowed to have happiness, ive had two things in my lifetime that have given it to me and I lost them both"

Dainket looked up and smiled. "I didn't even know there was a Queen of Spades.....I don't know many of the guardians to that matter..." he looked down and sighed. "Raichu never explained it to me or told me who they were."
Miya took Magus's hand. "But you have me.....I can never die....I'm just a doll Magus. I was a birthday gift to a baby....but instead my maker made me live. I'm empty inside Magus......but......but you gave me a heart.."

Magus pulled his hand away " I gave you nothing, I only allowed you to stay here. I have learned in my thousands of years not to gain any feelings for anyone, no matter what mortal or immortal they will die off, ive lost my sister and the one person that I ever loved, im not going to settle for emotion ever again."

Dainkey laughed. "Yeah....I never understood the card thing either." He sighed and laid back and closed his eyes. he was very tired for some strange reason.
Miya looked down. "I'm sorry...forgive my foolishness...." She turned, not taking her eyes off the ground and started to walk off.

Vertix nodded then sat down " so... your really going through with it... I myself never took the training, im the only guardian besides Josh that wasnt trained in some way by Magus." slowly he glanced up staring at the ceiling " I was trained by Josh first actually, when I was really young... then Raichu trained me a bit later."
Magus remained there not moving as he glanced back at her " why is it that you wish to remain up here immortal? If it was my choice I would have chosen a life as a mortal instead, instead of this dreaded elf immortality"

Dainket just kept his eyes closed as he slowly drifted off. "I hate josh....."
Miya stopped but didn't turn around. "it doesn't matter where I live, I'll always be immortal. I'm a doll remember? Dolls can't die......ever." She sighed and she looked down at her hands. "It's only my nature to want to keep someone from being alone.......that why I stay here with you......"

Vertix frowned " hes not all that bad of a guy... he just acts the way he does to hide his good side. Trust me I know... I lived with him for two years in the woods and got to know him. Josh is a great guy... I know its hard to believe but.. yeah.."
Magus turned around taking down his hood as he stared at her sadly " and what if I told you I had the power to give you a mortal life?"

Dainket didn't hear him. He was fast asleep and snoring.
Miya looked back. "I wouldn't take it.....I was given life for a reason...and that reason was to keep people from being alone. I respect my mother for making this choice. I was also made to keep her memory, she wanted it to be saved so it could be used in the future." She looked down then turned again. "I'm sorry if I interupted you Magus." She started to walk off again.

Vertix sighed as he looked at him then stood up as he started walking towards the stairs
Magus frowned then started to walk off, she didnt understand that her life was pointless. Slowly he glanced back at her " you where created for your brother who has long since been dead, only half of him remains and wouldnt accept you"

Miya stopped. "It doesn't matter now......I'm here to keep you company....that's my job as a poppet." She sighed as he sat down on the grass on the balcony. She looked down at the moon that reflected off her rings. She wanted a heart....emotions. But she was afraid to have those she wasn't sure how to handle them.

magus looked back at her oddly " hundreds? you are losing your mind girl, you have only came to me in the past few years, I welcomed you into my home because I felt pitty upon you, and I still have pitty on you, and the only way to break that is to give you what you deserve." slowly he raised up his scythe pointing it towards her as it began to glow " I am a giver of both life and death, and I will give you both"
