Vertix shook his head slowly " im too old now... if I was ten years younger maybe but now Ive given up on fighting. Raichu taught me everything he knows and I plan on taking it to my grave... he told me never to show anybody what he taught me and I plan on keeping that promise, I think it should stay within the family you know? and Rei never cared for martial arts at all so I cant pass the rest of his knowledge to her." he sighed staring down at the table

Dainket looked out the window. "I promise that i'd bring the San family a good name, and I will." He looked down and sighed silently. "I'm not doing a good enough job I guess...they say i fight like my father..."

Vertix looked up at him " your father was trained by you grandpa aswell there isnt anything wrong with the way he fought. Ryten was a good man... he was a hero in the war that happend up in space aswell. You shouldnt look down upon him because of what he did, your mother was everything to him and he had been losing people all his life. He probrably just couldnt take it anymore Dainket..."

" Dainket thats not true! Your father was probrably afraid that he was going to end up losing you aswell, and that wasnt something that he was willing to accept. If anything he was a coward but dont hate him for that. Just think how he is now? He's not happy your father is probrably burning in hell for what he did! hes not having a good time he has nobody there with him! The last thing he needs is his son hating him, and I know that Raichu never wanted you to hate your father"

Atleast you were raised by someone who loved you! I never had that! I know that Raichu only wtached after me becuase my uncle refused me as a baby." He looked at Vertix in tears. "There was no happiness behind raichu's smiles...he wanted to die so he could be with grandma. I saw him when he was by himself...he was miserable."

Raichu was the only family that I had left and just like you he raised me as if I where his own! and you should know that Raichu did love you and was happy with you around Dainket! and if he wasnt then he must have hated me being around too! and I know that isnt true..."

Dainket looked away and put away some dishes. He didn't care what Vertix had to say, he was just standing up for raichu because it was his brother and that they were very close. He knew how Raichu felt and no one was going to tell him different. Vertix wasn't even there 10% of Dainket's life, he had no idea how Raichu felt inside.

Vertix frowned as he stood upwards " I guess ive worn out my welcome... I can see it in your face" he let out a brief sigh as he looked over at Dainket " atleast try to listen to me Dainket, im the last bit of family that you have left..., I dont want us to have a bad relationship with one another"

Dainket looked back ad sighed. "If you want to go i won't stop you..." even when people wanted to reach out to him, he turn away. Why was he like this? He was becoming like Josh...he was becoming like his father...

Vertix frowned he wasnt getting through to him at all " I... im going to Raichu's grave, I was planning on staying more than a day but I doubt that you want me around anymore than I have to be right? Even if that is true rememer that if you ever need anythign dainket im just a phone call away alright?"

Dainket turned to Vertix and frowned. "Listen, I'm sorry. It's just that I really haven't talked to anyone about my family issues before...and I....you can stay as long as you want Vertix. There is a spare bedroom upstairs. I just have to fix it up, it shouldn't take me too long."

Vertix nodded slightly " yeah... I can stay for a few days thats all then I have to get back home, but thank you." Slowly Vertix turned around heading towards the front door, he wasnt sure if he was going to be able to get to Dainket at all. The kid had seperated himself from everyone else aswell and nobody seemed to ever bother coming to see him it was sad

dainket went upstairs after Vertix left. he passed his room and Raichu and walked to the third room. He looked around and picked up a few things. That was the room where he worked out. it wasn't to messy. He walked to the far side of the room and fixed the bed up.
He then looked up at the shelf over the bed and sighed. it was a picture of his parents, the only one he had.

As Vertix made his way to the graveyard he stared up at the sky, Raichu being dead it was so hard to take. He new that he was in a better place but without Raichu he wasnt sure if Dainket was going to be able to make it in the world, he could feel that he was becoming cold hearted. He was alot more like his father was aswell it wasnt a good sign
