Audace frowned and looked away his eyes sparking sadness. he couldn;t believe this but he should of expected it. why should he of ever gotten lucky? he could never have Kuni....

Kuni reached up and touched Audace's cheek. "If there was a way i could change things....I would......I have to produce a child with my new wife....." his words were chocked and a tear came from the tip of his eye.

Kuni smiled when Audace hugged him. He was so warm. It was still depressing on the whole thing. He wanted to be with Audace till the day he died....but that could never happen, no as lovers. Someone would find out somehow.

Audace buried his head into Kuni's shpoulder shutting his eyes. even if he had to let Kuni go... if that was what he wanted then Audace would. even if it killed him from the inside out....

Kuni closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Audace. He wanted to cry but audace didn't want him too. He sighed and wipped the tear away.

Audace wasd biting back his own tears. the thopught of never being with Kuni was killing him. he shivered repessing the tears and knew Kuni was doing the same.

Kuni could feel that audace was crying. He closed his eyes and a few tears of his own came out. He put his mouth close to audace ear and whispered..."I'd die to be with you...."

Audace shivered tears running freely and he answered shakily, "me too Kuni... i'd give you the world if hats what you wanted..."

Kuni nuzzled Audace's shoulder.
Suddenly Kuni could hear horse hooves beating and then the window shattered. The sheets cought on fire and Kuni jumped. Another bottle flew into the window and broke, spreading fire all over. Kuni held onto Audace and looked around the room in pure terror.

Audace stared at the fire in his own silent terror then shook his head and grabbed Kuni's arm and ran. they had to get out of here!

As they ran out, Kuni grabbed his sword. That was one thing he couldn't leave behind. Again, he was only in the boxers that Audace gave him awhile back. They ran out the front and Kuni could see tourches in the distance. The tribe was going after them.

Kuni pulled Audace around the house and grabbed ahold of the reins of the horse. He mounted and pulled Audace up.
He slammed the reins down and the horse snorted. It started out in a small trot and didn't get any faster. "what the..." he stroked the horses mane and looked at his hand, they were covered with blood. Suddenly the horse fell and kuni got himself back up. The tribe had won....
